Ray Koopa – Problem is, that you can only buy one or the other. It doesn’t give you the option to add Heart of Thorns for $20 in game. I want both
Edit: Correction. It does apparently you have to fill out the CC details first. That’s silly, but ah well
Hey CT — Can you clarify for me? You were not able to add HoT, but after you inserted your CC details you were able to purchase for $20?
Thanks!
Just got an answer to this: You can bundle HoT with any version of PoF in the Gem Store. You are given the option at the end of the purchase flow when you are reviewing your order.

We’re very sorry for the delay in purchase options. The team is working on this now!
It is true that the in-game purchase through the Gem Store is functional, but the website is not yet performing properly. We’ll get that addressed ASAP.
Thank you for your support and your patience!

At this point, we’ve shared what we wanted to say.
We’ll close the thread and post again, or reopen this thread, if further relevant info from ArenaNet needs to be expressed.
Here’s today’s update: The problem has continued over the last several days, and we’re still not exactly certain what’s going on. However, today the team member most familiar with the forums — I believe I’ve mentioned Justin before — gave each of the four language forums a sort of “kick re-start” to see if load times improved. Apparently there was something sort of backed up in the database, and doing today’s process may have helped.
So, if you have a chance, can you let us know if load times have improved for you?
Thanks a bunch.
Hey Atonement,
There will be VOD on Twitch, for sure. I think we’ll make this pretty easy to find and view, though, as Fluff suggested.
its supposed to sound like a horse when you shoot it.
I’ll check with the Sound Team, but I believe the pony neigh is now less frequent. And I have to tell you, as a fellow Dreamer user, I’m glad it’s not quite so.. umm… “vocal” now. Maybe check your sound settings for items and see if there’s an option, but I think the sounds are not all the same with every shot.
Due to a bug, the Southsun Cove map currently is inaccessible and the Crab Toss activity is unavailable.
At the present time, we do not have a timeframe for when we’ll be able to re-enable these two game elements, but the team is continuing to look into the situation and we’ll re-enable both as soon as possible.
Yes, load times are really miserable and we’re very sorry for that!
Right now, team members are looking into this problem and seeing what they can do to address it. I’ve found that without logging in, I can get into a post much more quickly, but that does not allow me to participate, so that is not ideal. (And it might not be the case for others.)
I reported this early this morning, and I have not heard back with information about this, but I know it’s being worked on. I’ll post when I know more, and again, we’re sorry for this inconvenience and irritation!
I’ve relayed these reports to our team. Can you please confirm that this is still an issue for you? Details that would help:
Thanks very much and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience!

We like Reddit just fine, but there are differences between the two media. Official information, update notes, new about upcoming releases (we’re working on one of those now, actually), and other official info and substantive posts are presented here.
Our “Dev Celebrations (AMAs)” take place on Reddit because the formatting works for them, but that’s not an indication of any sort of official migration.
As to dev “freedom,” well, devs are free to post as they wish here, there, or anywhere else.

We will be conducting scheduled maintenance on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 12:01 AM Pacific Time until approximately 12:15 AM Pacific Time. During this 15-minute period, players may have difficulty logging in to the game or transferring between worlds. In addition, EU players may not be able to create a new account or access the Gem Store during this timeframe.
Thank you for your patience while we addressed this issue. The content has been re-enabled.
As Season 3 wraps up with “One Path Ends,” we’d love to ask you a favor, as we have in the past:
Please share your high-level feedback (75 words or fewer) on Episode 6.
Please mark any spoilers with the spoiler tag (see formatting guide) to avoid giving away the story to those who have not yet played all the way through.
Devs will be reading other threads, of course, and longer or more detailed feedback is welcome. This thread is designed to amass your high-level views.
Our policy is posted in this forum. Link: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Policy-3rd-Party-Programs-Multi-Boxing-Macros/5999555
We’ve temporarily disabled a fractal chest while we correct its contents. You will be able to activate the chest in your inventory once it has been updated.
Hey there,
The idea of players offering a poll or creating a demographic chart that represents favorites of any kind would be just fine. What we have a concern about is someone creating a poll whose results purport to present “certified, verified, irrefutable facts” related to matters of greater sensitivity.
For instance, we want to avoid incendiary or trollish polls, like “Should [person] be tarred and feathered [for doing something that the poll’s creator didn’t like].” That just has no place on the forums. Too, some poll platforms can be “adjusted” to ensure that the alleged outcome is exactly what the poll creator desires. This involves not just biased wording, but the actual configurations of the poll. Then, when the results are presented as “100% of players agree with [something]” the truth is “100% of players who participated in the poll and whose votes were registered and whose input was not disqualified or disabled in some way agree with [something].”
So we’re not opposed to polls as a whole, but ask that they be of a positive, constructive, or even just plain ol’ fun nature.
could you ask please if it is possible to get newer statstics?

This thread was locked in error, and I have reopened it.
When someone makes a relevant, contributing comment in an older thread, we should leave the thread open to see how it develops. Naturally, valueless comments wouldn’t be great, and they might result in a thread closure. But what happened here was perfectly fine. Someone actually went to the trouble of finding a thread (which ain’t easy without a search engine!) and adding meaningful content, and that’s just fine.
I will make sure that the moderator team is aware of our practices, so that a necro post without value is acted upon but relevant comments remain.
Apologies for the error!

Just a reminder. See you Wednesday!
There was a run of about 50 people last night doing an HP train in Auric Basin and Tangled Depths. Several of us got disconnected 2-3 times.
Very sorry to hear that. There was a DDOS incident that ran between approximately 6:45 PM and 7:20 PM PST. If you were making your run during that time, I would imagine that explains your team’s scattered disconnections.
A connection issue arose late last night (about 11 PM Pacific time Tuesday, July 11) that impacted players in both North America and Europe. After some hours of investigation and work, the issue was resolved for nearly everyone as of approximately 8:00 AM Pacific today (Wednesday, July 12).
I have merged into this thread several separate posts on the subject, and you’ll find the latest news at the end of this thread.
Seeing suddenly extreme loading times. Didn’t have this issue until recently. Would this be related to the ddos attacks? Someone should find them and feed them to Primordius.
The DDOS incidents are usually short-lived and they don’t happen every day, so I don’t think that would account for a substantial period of long loading times. If this is posing a problem — I mean, long load times are never pleasant, but if it’s impacting your gaming — you may wish to submit a ticket so that the team can work with you on this. I sense that this is an individual situation, but the team can provide a diagnostic tool that would be able to analyze what’s going on.
That is so pretty!
Hey all,
Thanks for reporting this issue, particularly rajjy, Oriens, and Healix, who gave helpful details.
In short, we’re aware of the problem, even if it sometimes presents itself differently. I’ve talked with our web project manager, and he confirmed again that this is a known issue and that the site is secure, but we do know that the “scary warning message” may appear for some users and we’re sorry that this is so.
Since I don’t want to tell you to ignore a message of this nature, which oftentime is serious, I have a work around! To reach the support page from the forums:
I’m sorry for having to offer a work-around on this again, but the process above will get you into the system with that one extra click.
Thanks!
Rajjy — What!?! That’s certainly alarming. Can you tell me when? Would you be willing to see if you still get that message?
For the few of you who are continuing to have connection issues, we need you to please contact Customer Support in a CS ticket. (Click “Support” at the top of this page, then “Submit a request” to start a ticket.) One of our agents will review your situation with you and give you the assistance you need.
Thank you.
Bugs should be reported in the Bugs sub-forum. Using “WvW” in the title may be helpful, but that sub-forums is where the reports should be placed rather than in a discussion area such as this.
Trouble: What’s your general location?
Xioely: Are you ok now?
CF: Thank you, I will pass that along.
Hey guys,
We believe that the incident that ran from about 11 PM Pacific time to 8:00 AM Pacific time has been addressed and most if not all players would be able to log in to the game at this time.
However, there currently is a DDOS incident going on. That could impact your ability to log in, so we ask for your patience, and hope you’ll try again in a little while.
UPDATE: The incident appears to have ended.
As I recall, Tarnished Coast was quite a popular home for RPers and it may still be, as well. RPers all endeavor to get into the same map instance, which you probably know can be accomplished for the formation of a group and then the “join [name] on their map” functionality.

Great to hear. Thanks for the update.
Just to clarify, I’m still stuck in that situation. Trying manual repair now by changing target line. I’ll update if it works. I want to find that 1 file and ask the file; Why? xD
Hopefully it will work :/
If that doesn’t help, Duende, I suggest you submit a ticket to Customer Support so they can help you directly. What you’re experiencing may be an individual situation and they should be able to assist you.
Great to hear. Thanks for the update.
Hello!
Cambridge UK 5:50pm here. Repairing data archive, occasionally it goes ‘not responding’. It has just finished after 10-15 minutes.
Great — so you’re in then?
[Completely off topic: Dad was an Oxford man, but dear lord, I do love Cambridge, and the King’s College Choir is amazing! Lucky you to be there. And.. now I’m homesick. ]
Thank you so much for these reports. I’m breathing a little easier now, as it seems we’re able to get in from both NA and EU. Woot!
Gaile – took a few tries with the connection error but managed to log in eventually on usa servers . For those unable to log in – keep trying and you should get there in the end . You know anets on the case when Gaile gets involved so bare with it .
Thanks, Spiritz! May I ask your general location?
I’m checking on this situation again right now. I’ve asked a few questions of our team and of our Network Operations Center to verify that this is resolving in NA and EU, as an e-mail at 7:57 AM PST seemed to indicate.
In the meantime, can you share your experience right now? Are you able to log in to the game? If not, could you please note your general location?
Thanks very much for your patience and understanding while we worked on this problem and continue to investigate the matter.

Hey all,
Whenever there are widespread connectivity issues, we see threads appear in both the Bugs sub-forum and the Account and Technical Support sub-forum. The most momentum and the greatest number of posts is generally in A&TS, and that’s where you will find updated information on this subject.
Find the relevant thread [url=https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Connection-Issues-July-11-and-12]here[/url.]
If there are issues in the future, please always check both of the Support-related forums — Bugs and Account & Technical Support — to get the full scope on the situation.
Thanks.

If you guys missed this, this is the first of the two editions that Roam has released. This are legitimate offerings, as Roam is not selling them but offering them for free to fellow Guild Wars 2 fans. Enjoy!

I love her! She seems to have a story — do you know it? Somehow, she makes me think of Halloween… with the rather haunting look, the fingernails, etc. Hey, do you know her name?
I like this a lot, Dagger.
