To get explorer you have to only find the place. Completing the puzzle is not required.

If it is unlocked once, it will stay there for all your characters.

My both accounts access the same Guild Bank. I guarantee guild banks are global.

Nah. Never bought any and the ones gotten in game sit in the bank taking up space. Birthday boosters get used and when I was levelling crafters the crafting boosters.

I recently started to try and get the achievements for LS2. I find myself stuck at very last one of ‘Gates of Maguuma’ the avoiding bombs one.

If I give up for a while and move to another chapter, will I have to redo the whole ‘Gates of Maguuma’ again to get back to the last bit?

By the way, typing /wiki apple in game will pull up the previously mentioned wiki page. Replacing ‘apple’ with something else will bring up that topic.

I am not sure specialization concerns PvP. Unless they are available for everyone, it would be unfair to those without the expansion.

Silverwastes is another kettle of fish. It appears empty until the progress bar rises to a certain percentage. Then the map is suddenly stuffed until Winewrath is defeated. Then the nomads move to yet another copy of the map. Also, the players that do the whole defend cycle are divided between the four forts.

One does wonder if the OP has a Legendary/Legendaries and if not are they hoping to make one some day.

I did learn a new thing about Masteries watching PoI. I had hoped mastery points would work like WvW abilities giving me a chance to try different approaches, but I’ll survive with the fully account bound system. Well, until I fall from the sky anyway.

You do realize that it is one particular shade of the colour magenta and that the trademark only applies in the country/countries they made the application in? Also, it only concerns the businesses in the same branch, so if you happen to have a grocery store in Germany, feel free to decorate your windows in magenta.

Same with those phrases. They can only be denied from businesses using them for the same purpose as the one who has the trademark. I presume this young singer is selling paraphernalia that has her catch phrases on the and wants to prevent others from making money on her expense.

You can take the one and same character anywhere.

You may want to have a bit different gear for PvE and WvW. Or not. It really depends on you. A lot of people have a bit more resilient builds for WvW. Many run the same builds in both too. If you use different builds, you need more than one set of weapons and armor as well as more traits opened.

PvP does not use the same system as the others. You can wear anything there and use weapons of any level/quality. The stats come from your choices in PvP Build window. You pick an amulet and sigils as well as your traits there.

Well you can. Here is how:

1. Buy an 18-slot Mithril box from the TP. Cost about 2g 60s.
2. Buy one of the following armors from the Gemstore: Krytan (medium), Primeval (heavy) or Profane (light). Cost: 500 gems
3. Buy 10 experience boosters from the gemstore. Cost 1050 gems.

Those three things are the only difference between the Standard and Heroic editions. (Personally I’d skip the boosters.)

Or as Lazaar said you can upgrade to Digital Deluxe for 2000 gems. And it has been on sale in the past, so since nothing in it essential to playing the game, it might be a good idea to wait.

Hexed Outfit was not in the Gem Store. It was bought with corn cobs from the Halloween merchant.

Have you tried Autodetect? It should give you a workable base. You can tweak details go suit your needs then.

If I had friends who’d play, absolutely! Alone it is a little hard to do.

They probably sound familiar because they are/were also playing in game. Several of them were composed for Wintersday specifically. At least ‘Prelude to Wintersday’, ‘Flight of the Imaginarium’ and ‘The Great Toymaker’.

‘Guild Wars’ plays at least on character selection screen and ‘Fear Not This Night’ plays in the Grove.

Season 2 you can experience. You can either pay 200 gems/episode or you can ask someone who has the chapters open to take you along. The latter lets you see and participate in the story, but you cannot get the achievements.

There are also the new areas added with the progression of the LS. They are open to anyone of level 80. Well, I suppose one can go before 80, but it would be hard.

I saw the conversation. Poor Hero-Tron. He is rewarded with a job by Captain’s Council and then blackmailed into spying for Evon. Although it remains to be seen whether the Tron will do it or not.

I still did not dare to enter it. PvP is scary. Maybe next year.

Personally I find them a curse. See, I am lazy, so I cannot leave them unused. My latest EU character went from 0 to 80 in under 10 minutes. I didn’t really have time to get to know him like the others.

Luckily I will not be getting quite as many in the future.

The collection part can also be sped up by parking characters at the JPs. Some of them are safe to stay at for days and days.

One of my characters did get a chest piece, others did not. I have no idea how it works.

I like shields. Therefore I like all suggestions to make them more appreciated.

I have only deleted the ‘wardrobe fillers’ characters created only to get all the starter equipment for the wardrobe.
Before the wardrobe there was one with a similar purpose. The necromancer’s mask had gotten destroyed before I knew it could not be gotten again. So, I created ‘The Masked Thing’ a generic human necro, who retrieved the wraith eyes and then expired. She was lvl 2, since she completed the first tutorial instance.

Home server is only relevant if you talk about WvW. Otherwise the whole region plays together on Megaservers. There are people in all areas because of this. Right now, of course, the new areas Dry top and especially Silverwastes have plenty of people as does Divinity’s Reach for the next week until Wintersday stuff goes away.

Very occasionally after a patch the login server has collapsed under the volume of people trying to get in to see the new content immediately. It is rare and clears pretty fast. Otherwise there is no ‘waiting time’. If you want to play WvW then you can face queues, especially at the weekly reset Friday evening.
