I think with anything other than a full condition build, (healing, survivability….) you can get what you are looking for out of armor and runes. I would keep trinkets (jewelry) and weapons full berserker to boost your DPS output. So as Rapsody said above all ascended berserker weapons start with Zojja.
As a side note, getting your crafter to 500 is the worst part. Once you reach that getting the mats to craft the ascended weapons come pretty easy.
As for Empyreal Fragments, try parking alts at the jumping puzzles in Caledon Forrest. You get on average 7-9 per chest. I have 6 alts that I try to cycle through each day (Morgan’s Leap, Spekk’s Laboratory and Spelunker’s Delve). Once you get proficient at them you can do all three in about 10 mins per character if you leave them parked at one of them.

I think its 5am now where Anet is located, so they aren’t even at work yet. Every patch hits about the same time. 12-1pm EST (8-9PST).
Those were last year’s achievements. It would be nice to be able to complete them, but we can’t. It’s not a bug.
I will see if I can confirm tonight, but I am pretty sure we were able to also interrupt the AoE life steel as well. I fought him several times with different classes, but I seem to remember hitting him with Basilisk Venom on my thief and it stopped the life steel. It could have also been at the same time someone else interrupted him so who knows for sure.
Or to park 63 alts at a jumping puzzle/chest or use as bank space.
I really don’t see the suspension being reduced or removed. Some words are just worse than others, racial comments are considered some of the worst. We all understand that in real life words slip out sometimes, but in game chat your fingers don’t just slip and type words that you don’t mean to type.
However you can file a ticket with support and ask them, but don’t be surprised when the suspension stays.
Do a search on the trader for weapons with an “Orrian” in their name. Those weapons have an old rustic look and also have a blue/green/brown dripping animation that falls from them. Another nice line of skins are the “Krait” weapons, these have a water dripping animation that falls from them.
No, there are currently no recipes that use them.
It was actually disabled when the magic find system was changed several weeks back. There has been no mention of when the recipe will be re-activated.
Run the temple events in Orr (lyssa, grenth, melandru, arah, balth). You get 30 or 35 dragonite from each of them. If you haven’t done them before, Lyssa and balth take the longest, the others take maybe 15-20 minutes or less depending when you get there.
Why would you want to hand out contact information to thousands of people who you don’t know and who may be mental or criminal?
It might not be thousands. OP may of virtually hooked up with a “girl” in game and wants to PM his personal info so they can meet.
The rules are there to protect the players. If he wants to meet a “girl” from the internet, that’s fine. But if he gets in trouble for breaking the rules, he can’t complain.
I am willing to bet it is also there to afford immunity to Anet if people do and something goes wrong. If the people you are gaming with are “RL” friends there should already be communication lines available outside of the game.
Personally, I have a junk email address I use. I have sent it to people in other games that have wanted to send me links to different game related stuff (videos, tips and such). I would never disclose my real email, phone number or anything to someone in a game that may or may not be who they pretend to be in game.
Also, if you have a private guild bank just for you and you accidentally “stand-down” from that guild, you lose everything. Support will not and can not do anything to help you. I have a personal guild bank that I share with 2 very close “real life” friends, we are all officers with the permissions to change each others ranks. I am the actual guild leader and if I accidentally drop my-self from the guild, they can re-invite me.
That’s not true, you actually have to quit to lose everything.
You are correct, but the issue is still there if you are the only guild member.
Soulbound or account bound to completely unbound will never happen. There are just some items that aren’t meant to be sold or available on the TP. However, soulbound to account bound would work and be a great idea.

I can confirm as well. I transmuted my ascended great sword with my volcanus and it worked just fine.
As with other world bosses, as long as you are the appropriate level for the zone they are located in, you should be fine. You might die a few times, or a bunch of times, but you can participate. You will only get level appropriate drops though.
I don’t think another gathering tool is needed. What about wool scraps, will we need harvesting shears too? What kind of animal would drop gossamer? If you have already killed the animal, the drops could be changed to include the materials. The drop rate from salvaging could also be increased.
I am at max crafting in everything except 500 in artificer and the only issues I have ever had are wood shortages. I think the recipes for wood refinement are messed up. How on earth can it take 3 logs to make a single plank? In real life you get several planks from a single log. How can it take several planks to make a single weapon? It takes less ingots/ore to make a greatsword blade than it takes wood to make a staff rod.
Exactly, it is an open world event, not a private little elitist group that you can control. People will run what they want to run. I know I will. If you can’t handle others playing the way they want maybe this isn’t the game for you or stick to your own little group. To even think that it would be reportable is utterly ridiculous.
You know what was really funny? Watching all the “zerker whatevers” laying dead on the ground during the aetherblade phase of scarlet’s invasions. It is a waste of everyone elses time rezzing those godly zerkers. Maybe it should be zerkers that are reported for interfering with my game play.
The slow down when in combat has always been there. The normal speed is always the same. When you are hit by an enemy all speed buffs are reduced to normal speed for a period of time. I think the bug is actually how long the reduction lasts. I have run through mobs, got hit once and been stuck in combat for quite awhile after it.
Probably not, they are still usable for every event in the game that rewards karma.
It was changed to once per day per account a few months ago. It wasn’t a stealth nerf either, it was announce in the patch notes at that time.
You have to complete the storyline attached to today’s update, once you do you can access the pavilion again.
It’s not a bug. All dungeon token rewards were reduced after the first run, not just CM.
All events reward karma. I have been doing the events in the Crown pavilion since it was released and have made quite a bit of karma. If you do the events with karma boosts you get even more.
All open world enemies still drop coin, so anything that increases gold is still useful. The only change to coin drop was the end of the dungeon rewards.
They are also on open world drop.
I don’t think the intent was to make them more abundant, I think it was to provide another avenue to getting them.
As was said, they are soulbound on acquire. If you bought the digital deluxe edition you get one with every new character you create. You can only use them on the character that received it.
I got one too from Urmag’s JP in LA. On a side note, it is nice to see wooden chests after a kill and not have to worry about getting support tokens or kite fortunes. I think I got more rares (weapons/armor) last night than I have in the past 2-3 weeks.
I thought they were bugged at first, but I don’t think they are. If you get to a new tower that you haven’t already gotten and the chest is open, all you have to do is wait for the event to cycle and participate in the event. Once you do that the chest will be closed and you can get it.
It was posted by the dev’s a week or so ago that pristine relics would not deposit into the account wallet. Why? Who knows.
I don’t think it is should be an issue, the TS3 overlay is a separate program and doesn’t use any components of the GW2 game. It should be no different then using FRAPS. Just my opinion.
Unfortunately this game doesn’t have a “Cursing Section” so using curse words will get you suspended or banned if you get reported. Best advice is to not do it.
The Gilded infusions still work as advertised. They aren’t specifically for dungeons. I doubt they will issue refunds. Maybe they will for magic find items since it is going away completely at some point.
Don’t get your hopes up for a refund on “+% gold” items. Even though they are changing the dungeon reward system, the “bonus” gold boosts still apply to drops throughout the game. The items are advertised as “+% gold from monsters” not “+% gold from dungeons”. They will still work as advertised.
You can file a ticket with support and kindly ask about a refund on the gems. They may or may not give it to you. They have been known in the past to issue gem related refunds, but for what and why I don’t know.
It would be nice if the game did a check of your account and prevented the purchase of items that you can’t use.
No, it’s not illegal, it has been stated before by the developer’s that’s there is nothing wrong with helping people out. What I meant by my post is if you are sending large amounts of materials or gold to guild mates/friends, include a note in the email stating exactly what it is for. This will give the people who review the accounts for possible suspension/ban some information as to why the large transfer took place. This will not prevent the account from possibly getting flagged, if it did then the gold sellers would just do the same thing to cover what they are really doing.
As with everything else in the game, there are thresholds and actions that may place a flag on your account, Anet will not disclose how or what triggers an account to be flagged for any reason, all you can do is have the documentation to back up what you are doing. The more the better. There is a mail system in place to allow you to send things to other people, if it weren’t allowed, it wouldn’t be there.
Here is a little advice, I can’t say it will always work but so far it did for me. I got “Spark” through the MF and sold it. I then sent 200g to two of my guildies for their “Golden” achievement. What I did was, put a message in the email that stated exactly what I was sending them the gold for and that the money was to be returned. Then when they returned it, they put a note in the email saying why I sent them the gold and that they were returning it. It may not prevent a ban, but it will provide you with documentation that support can use and they might also see it when they are reviewing the account for the initial ban.
It always defaults to the highest level you have completed when you first enter. I know it gets confusing. It would have been a lot easier to manage if they put the tier (I,II,III or IV) choice.
What ^ said. You will get an email. Keep that email afterwards, if you ever need to reference the serial key (for support/ account verification) it is the only time you will every see it.
I would also like for them to change the invisible bags so that they hide the contents from the mystic forge. I almost forged my volcanus while throwing exotic greatswords in.
NEW FEATURES AND CONTENT
General
A Player Instrument Volume slider has been added to the Sound Options panel.
Thank you Anet!!!!!!
If I’m not mistaken it will appear in every home instance for character’s that you have. Do you also have an Asura? That’s why the harvesting of it is account bound.
There is no bug. It’s working just like they intend it. If you have a problem with it, you should go to a subforum where suggestions are listened, here they have enough with checking the real bugs, that are tons. You’ll get no attention for a change in difficulty suggestion in the bug subforum.
Well guess what? I checked up on this and apparently it is a bug. Learn to research your stuff before saying the wrong things to other people.
Hahahaha
Ok, enlighten me. Link me to a dev’s intervention or response, saying this is a bug.
Well guess what? There have been dozens of threads on this and apparently no dev ever treated it as a bug. Learn to use the search feature before opening a new thread for an alredy touched matter.
Hmm. I see that some one else should use the search button as well. Here is the link to the post with the dev comments on the issue.

The pictures aren’t Swashbuckler’s Cove, they are from “Stepping Stones” in South Sun Cove. Swashbuckler is in Gendarran Fields.
Yeah, what Hebee said. If you have multiple 80’s use orrmaps and make the run on each character. Depending on how many you have you can get almost a stack (250) of ori each day along with omnomberries and ancient wood.
I don’t think it is a bug, the description for invisible bags states “hidden from merchant and trader”, or something like that. I wish they would change it to include the mystic forge. Whenever I forge exotics I always take my characters unequipped exotic gear and put it in the bank to be safe. While forging great swords one day I almost put my Volcanus in there, I caught it at the last minute, thank God.
Yes it does happen. Harvesting anything with any tool has a chance to be ruined if you are in combat.
Is this email legit? See link or attached picture for screen dump:

No it’s not. Anet will never send out emails about account status. They will only respond to support tickets that you have submitted.
