Those are some really high numbers…though I bet I’d see numbers like them more often if I wasn’t set up defensively, since I act like the tank of our group on my Warrior
I don’t mind Signet of Rage on my Warrior. But in Dungeons I’d like to Replace it with another utility skill so I can have 3 healing shouts and Endure Pain
You can really spike something with an Axe/Sword combo. If your adrenaline is full you can throw your axe, throw your sword, leap in with Eviscerate, then use Rip and do alot of damage
Ritualist, Paragon, and Dervish would make sense. Also let Warrior’s use Scythe’s if you add Dervish.
Only problem is with the Ritualist, if they wanted to keep it similar to the original Guild Wars, engineer kind of covers it already with the bundles and turrets. Guardian with the Spirit Weapons.
I don’t think Monk would work, Guardian has taken that role.
Druid would be cool
I would love to see a Sigil similar to the one of Bloodlust and Perception. Gain +10 toughness for everyone kill up to 25 stacks. Or +7 Vitality up to 25 stacks
I’m a Support player in my guild’s main dungeon team. I have a Vaklyrie Helmet, Shoulders, and Boots. Knight’s Chest, Legs, and Gloves. Knight’s Hammer, and Knight’s Mace/Valkyrie Shield.
I use 5 superior runes of the Dolyak and 1 Superior rune of Svanir. Mace has a Superior Sigil of Air because it was cheap, and Shield has a Superior Rune of Water. Hammer has a Superior Rune of Perception but will probably change to accuracy
Trait points are 0/10/30/30/0. Major traits are Deep Strikes, Missle Deflection, Merciless Hammer, Shield Master, Empower Allies, Lung Capacity, Vigorous Shouts
Utilities are: Healing Signet (unless in a place that needs condition removal then I use mending), For Great Justice, Shake It Off, either Endure Pain or On My Mark. I like Endure Pain so I have a total of 8 seconds of invulnerability with my Shield. Signet of Rage is my usual Elite.
I will have all Beryl Jewelery eventually for added Vitality and Crit Damage.
My usual job in the dungeon is to keep 1-2 silver mobs out of the fight with stun chains. I also pump out decent damage
My suggestion is to make a character. Go to the heart of the mists, tests out different weapons, traits, utilities, etc. Then do another, and another, etc, etc. You get a good max level feeling and what combos and synergy you can/want to do
I don’t know how good it is in wvwvw. But I’m pretty tough in PvE, using 0, 10, 30, 30, 0. Hammer and Mace and Shield (could be Mace and Axe if you wanted). Half Knight’s and Vaklyrie gear, hoping to get Beryl jewlery eventually. Superior Perception on the Hammer for extra crit chance
To Silverghost. It’s not impossible to get gold in this game. Get a rare suit of armor or whatever, 5 runes of the pirate, 1 rune of the traveler (if possible have magic find on your weapon and built into your armor). Get an omnomberry bar, and go farm level 5 fine materials. Get 50 then convert them into the grade 6 materials, sell, ???, profit.
I can make 1-3 gold a day depending on how much I want to farm and how stuff drops.
Do you use the Karma Temple/God Exotic Armor set? what is your gear stat build?
in Warrior

Actually, it takes about 1 million karma for a legendary weapon. 525K for a gift of mastery, plus another 500 thousand depending on luck for the clovers
I run 0, 20, 20, 30, 0. I use a Hammer and Mace/Axe. Half Knight’s armor, other half Vaklyrie, jewlery will be all Beryl. I do good damage, have great control, and challenging to kill with my 3 healing shouts. Warrior is in a great spot right now, maybe an exception on the ranged weapons. Really we just need a better 3rd downed skill, like Elementalists
I use a Hammer and a Mace/Axe, specced with healing shouts. With my stuns, extra toughness and vitality. I’m pretty tough to kill. I do good damage and give great support in dungeons. I know I’m not a tank but I can take alot more than most people
I think the main problems with the Elementalist is alot of their skills take way too long to cast, and their damage isn’t high enough for their low survivability.
I love my Hammer and Mace/Axe combo. Alot of control and good damage. I do carry around a Greatsword for farming, and a Bow and Rifle when ranged is needed. But really, all weapons are good if you build for them. Really depends on what you want to do
I don’t got a build calculator thing, but right now I’m running:
0
20
20
30
0.
I use a Hammer and Mace/Axe as my off-set. Switching to a Bow or Rifle when ranged is needed. My utility skills are Healing Signet, FGJ, SIO, OMM, and Signet of Rage. I have alot of defense and put out good damage. As for equipment, I got 3 pieces of Knight’s armor, and 3 pieces of Vaklyrie. When I get my jewelery it’ll probably set up for pure damage since I get plenty of defense already.
Plan to get a Knight’s Exotic Hammer, Knight’s Exotic Mace, and Vaklyrie’s Exotic Axe one of these days
Don’t ask if it’s good for PvP because I pretty much only PvE
Friend saw Charr Charr Binks. I’ve seen Charr Lee Brown, and Charred Beef
Me and my friend in Orr, then a close up with a Greatsword
I use Hammer and Mace/Axe. I find the traits that work best for me are 30 Arms, 20 Defense, and 20 Discipline. Using half Knight’s half Vaklyrie armor. Good damage and defense
I used to use a Greatsword for the really high damage. Now I use a Hammer. The Hammer damage is awesome, and with a Mace/Axe secondary set, I got tons of stunning power which I use in dungeons to hold off one foe by myself while the group handles the others. It’s not about RAWR DPS all the time, it’s the strategy behind it
