It really depends if the treb has the posibility to reach / defend your own gate.
Cause if that’s the case the treb can just perma-position on your own gate and spam kill all those trying to get your gate down.

I’d suggest find a nice guild that has experienced players to introduce you to fractals.

Stupid? Yeah probably, but otherwise you’ll have to rely on random people who might know as much about Fractals as you do.

Could also make a Fractal LF group called:“New Player LF Guidance”

I can answer this, MEGASERVERS. Basicly you’re put in the map which holds most of your guildies, so you can play with them in any style of content (Except WvW).

As I said WvW is the exception, this is because it’s dedicated to your home server.
If you don’t play WvW, you can freely play with everyone from a cross server guild in the same region as you (NA/EU)

If you delete all your characters you can freely switch servers again.

I’d say they’ll make more space on servers now they’re basicly giving away the game for 10 euro.
Keep an eye on the server you’d like to play on, when it got spots again – put all your stuff on the bank and delete chars, then freely switch.

I’d suggest look anywhere from a T3 to T5 server, they got players active in WvW and you don’t have to wait in a queue most of the time.

I’m unfamilliar what server has which advantage or playstyle, though I do know that my server has Open mic sessions etc (Though every server most likely has a TeamSpeak and players willing to help you)

Well that’s an odd request ^^ – I’ll try to inform you on what we’ve got

Our guild does have TeamSpeak, but it’s not required or forced by anyone.
So it’s your free choice wether you use it or not, when you aren’t using it that’s not a deal breaker and you’ll find that we are using a mixture of both TS and Guild Chat.

For example:
Guild Missions: Most detailed information will be given trough TeamSpeak, though I’m always putting some text in the chat so those not on TS are getting some info aswell.

It’s not really up to servers which are friendly or not, as there are megaservers these days
If you find a guild you like, you’ll be mostly put on the same map as them

I’ve got 4,5k hours on my guardian, survivability is not an issue
I run full zerker ascended in dungeons.

That’s a pretty cryptic description you put in there, I’m unsure if we fit in it – but I’ll give you some information anyways (can’t hurt I guess)

Charr RP – There’s no RP in our guild, though when it’s on a normal scale it’s accepted in guild chat.
PvE – We’re Dedicated to PvE! more the casual side though
PvX – The only PvX we’ve got is some members doing PvP, as we’re cross server only a few players do WvW (Might be more, though unaware of those doing it on individual basis)
Dungeon – Are being done, not as dungeon tour or runs but more when player are up to it (Most times you should be able to get a group of 3-5 for the easier dungeons)
focus on the individual – I don’t know what you understand under it, but if players have questions or need help – (can only talk for myself now) I’ll see what I can do, and if I got enough time / experience to help you
active Guild Chat – We’re not the chattiest, though our TS is getting more active lately

As a PvE player, it’s just so pointless seeing 30 commander tags during 1 guild mission…

Maybe add as option to research for guilds?
With option who’s got the ability to use it (After they bought the commander book?)

I’ve just compared my meta build with yours, and it’s the same might sources…
Only mine are just a tiny bit longer (1-4s)

I’ve got no problems taking down rangers (Mesmers are even easier)… Well I haven’t played against an ESL ranger or whatever, but don’t think that should be the standard for “knows what he’s doing”?

I believe such builds have already been suggested but people prefer the meta.
Also evasive classes (thief / mesmers?) are no problem with my medi meta build.

My biggest problems are ele’s / Engi’s.
Ele keeps me busy forever for their backup, engi just knocks me all over the place…

You’re having luck and bad luck at the same time!
- You missed Season 1 and 2 Completely (well maybe final part S2 not)
- Season 1 is gone forever so far (Check youtube for let’s play vids)
- Season 2 is pay 2 play, 200 gems per episode = 1400 gems for all 7 you missed?

Why you’ve got luck?
There will be a big announcement this saturday on PAX EAST about GW2. (Expansion, new content, new races, new skills, new classes? We don’t know anything yet!)

Be honest when talking to potential recruits when giving information / asking questions.
Not too honest to scare them away, but make sure you’re talking from your personal opinion.

Also Map chat might be a usefull tool, but when you use this make sure you make a nice message out of it. Not the same message everyone else got:
Bla Bla [BLA] recruiting we’ve got (Guild missions, ts, forum, events, awesome community, friendly players, newb friendly, etc etc)

What might help your guild, as you’re small and “new”
Go to low level zones and try to find players new to Guild Wars. After recruitment you can guide these players and help them with their stuff, makes them loyal to you so that they aren’t as likely to hop to another guild.

Also, recruiting for a small guild can be a really tough job, as players join and leave when they find the guild isn’t big enough, not active enough, not many players online at same time, etc etc.

There’s no trinity in GW2.
Your so called trinity is players who want to play Meta, which isn’t a trinity.

“Your trinity” are specced to 90% highest DPS output + 10% group support.
Some classes are better at it yes, but that’s to the player to decide.

GW2 Gives the freedom in this, so there are always people complaining on both sides.

I’m gonna assume you are member of a guild, and that it’s not showing.

This is a very old bug, no clue what it triggers but it gives you the status of “Not in a guild”. Therefor you’re unable to see it, guild chat or tags.

It’s massively annoying I agree.
