Personally, I am asexual/null sexual and I think its great for everyone to be proud of who they are! If white folks want to be proud, thats great! As long as it allows tolerance of those who are different, I’m all for it.

The difference is, white people generally do not have to fight for acceptance, as it is the considered norm in most/all northern hemisphere countries. Still doesn’t stop them being proud.

I support anyone starting a hetero guild at all. Just as I would support an sXe guild. If that is their interest, all is good, just as sXe is mine.

No. Us and them is not as poisonous as bigotry. I can love my neighbour even though I am me and she is her. Or the family of a different ethnic background that lives opposite me. Their culture (them) is different than mine (us). We are different but equal. I do not despise them or their culture, therefore am not bigoted towards them. But thanks so much for trying.

As for religion, I do not feel that religious people should be hated or shunned. I do think that many of them require treatment for their unfortunate delusional state that restricts their ability to think and act of their own free will.

You don’t have to be LGBT to be in that guild, just accepting. As the rainbow flag suggests, LGBT is all-inclusive.

Okay, to the anti-Syas, I ask this.

I am a biological male. I am gender neutral. I have neither masculine nor feminine traits, in fact I simply cannot relate to strong male traits at all (or to female for that matter).

I play females in game because a. I find them less threatening and b. I can escape what we used to call my ‘mun’ and be someone I cannot hope to be in real life. Basically, I identify as female in character when I play a female character. (I would never use this to actually deceive anyone offline).

Since I am biological male, would you deny me the right to play a female character? Would you like it if players’ accounts were tied to their offline identity and you were only allowed to play a character that matched your biological gender?

I’m not going to bring religion into this except by saying that if you are offended by me or LGBT people because of your religion, then I am offended by your religion!

I dont want or need an extra character slot. I deleted toons because Anet screwed us over with Ascended, so I have loads spare. But I don’t agree with any ‘gem equivalent’.

People got what they asked for, leave it at that.

Getting double login bonus would be a dealmaker for me, for sure.

I still have 6 unused slots on one account, and a second empty account, no desire to make more alts, so that would make no difference.

I am not suggesting that Anet deliberately mislead people. They just didn’t think about it properly. This is not a launch/pre launch failure. It is a PR failure.

Now the implementation of Ascended gear after their ‘no grind’ philosophy, and their promises that exotic would be top-tier… THAT was deliberately misleading.

Why would Anet do #2? I got the base game for a friend for 20.00. Why should people who got the game for 20.00 recently, get HOT for free? That would kitten me off and I bought the ultimate xpac. So I bought the original game at 60.00, I bought friends the original game at between 20.00 and 60.00 and bought the ultimate xpac yet I don’t think I should be getting anything for free.

At the VERY least, anyone who purchased after HoT announcement should be given HoT at a reduced cost.

Surely though, Anet is now so au fait with making outfits that they should be able to produce outfit versions?

I think the price point will be reasonable but before I order I need to know:

1/ If it will run at a decent performance on my PC
2/ That Anet will do right by those people who bought AFTER the expac announcement and upgrade them to HoT for free
3/ That the content within is worth the value.

Those are my priorities in that order. I don’t care about doing the betas since I would rather wait till full release, and I dont care about titles, so prepurchase offers nothing to me.

What does matter is whether or not my PC will have a tantrum if I try to run HoT at or near high quality.

It works out like this:

All town clothes fit all character classes.
All town clothes items bring with them an entire outfit, as chosen by Anet devs.
All town clothes items used to have the ability to change colour, which they no longer do.

Convert all town clothes to outfits, retaining their current appearance, add colour change functionality, and many of us would be very very grateful.

I adore trenchcoats! I might actually play my Warrior and Guardian more if I could use medium armour skins on them. Heck, I might even roll some light armour classes if the option was there.

They are great, all-purpose utilitarian clothing, just what an adventurer needs!

Besides, you have outfits if you want other appearances. For example, both my rangers use outfits for light fitting clothing, then change back to their sexy trenchcoats when they want to get down to business. Switch from evening attire to rugged bum-kicking style in the blink of an eye!

And failing that, you always have town clothes with their myriad functionality and fit!

So many options!! What more could you ask for?!!?!!!!!111eleven!

I have grown from anger to amusement. I’m sticking with my exotics for now, especially since there is now so much drama over afunctionality that Anet didn’t even need to offer, and sprung upon us by surprise.

All those with Ascended have paid the (considerable) price of crafting them, and now complain you have to pay more for a feature you didn’t even know you were getting and which you don’t need?

Oh the irony. Isn’t this what Ascended crafters have been saying to us Exotic wearers for ages? “Oh just drop some gold and craft it, it isn’t that expensive/hard, and you don’t REALLY need it anyway”.

With the 4000 gems included ($50 worth), if you are a regular gem buyer and DONT buy ultimate, you have rocks in your head. That pretty much accounts for the difference in price on its own.

Say I am not the head of a guild, and I never want to be. I buy Ultimate HoT, but I never buy a guild hall. I never use the Mordremoths Bane.

Does this mean that a guild leader who does not have Ultimate cannot have the Mordremoths Bane decoration for the GH? Or does it mean that players which do not have ultimate cannot see it if it is installed?

Who exactly is able to decorate the GHs? This is all very confusing.

If so, all arguments about the price including the core game now are invalid.

Ultimate includes 4000 gems. Thats $50 worth there.

That alone pretty much makes Ultimate worth it over Standard.

Here’s the usual copypasta:

Forget anything that is a studyable race in the LS. Thats Ogres, Skritt, Hylek, Grawl, Quaggans.

Forget any of the antagonist races/factions. That would be Centaurs (plus, how would they swim?), Nightmare Court, Flame Legion, Inquest, Svanir.

Largos are out as, according to the personal story, they are incredibly rare and avoid contact with all other races if at all possible. It would be as stupid as the Miqo’te in FF14 ARR – they’re supposedly rare and solitary creatures yet the designers make them in such a way that EVERYONE who faps to nekomimi will roll one.

What does this leave us? Kodan, Tengu, Ettin and a handful of others which have groups who are non-antagonistic. Kodan is out right away, they are Norn-based. Tengu are possible but require a very specific armour redesign and we can see what a mess Anet made of Charr armour. Ettin would be fun, but they don’t wear clothes so we can forget them.

Personally, I want to see playable Ooze, but I know it’ll never happen.

Warmaster Efut refuses to move in Under Siege. Three times now I have had to log out and restart missions because of AI bugs.

While you’re at it, give one to Forgal Kernsson and my ranger’s pet for the Forewarned is Forearmed mission. They just went off through the wall of the sewer tunnel to fight something leaving me sitting there unable to hit anything!
