Jayne you can count of many hoping to attend the parade. I don’t want to speak too soon but I think we should be able to field some positive numbers, just be sure not to play EST time – all us PST folk still have to work, and also the same time we tend to run fight club duels (4 or 5 est Thursday I can’t remember). But +1 from kaineng after hard week, wouldn’t mind a festivity. Certain I know a few others who enjoy that type of event.

Lol … that was the one, thanks Stone. Was such a fun battle at bay – for sooo long, probably most fun I’ve had in a long time in WvW. A really long time. I hope everyone had that much fun in the battle.

Okay, well .. seeing as we have all the relevant participants and representatives let’s first clarify:

1. regardless of server or tag, we support you because you step into the portal and keep WvW as fun and enjoyable as it is.

Now … on to business matters. It has been brought to the confederecy’s attention that we’re to support said conscription of timezone coverage for one of the entities. I hear-by move it to a vote now, commanders-in-chief and executive staff support on passing this initiative to aid in the request. We see fit to provide suggestions for recommended server to continually resume action in all hours of play, and not let one of our own fall. As active spokespersons, and provisional chef’s and event coordination details may suffer severe impacts and have even further damaging costs associated with community rebuilding efforts.

I vote we pass this initiative and further move to have the representative GL’s when in discussion provision such knowledge and act upon when approached in private sanctums within your servers.

And as this is likely the only post I get to write up, so to those who took part in the KB BL bay battle – I hope your voice comms lol’d as much as ours did – ‘wtf – okay no heals no utilities guys’ * 10 yeah ‘me neither’, followed by laughs, and ‘guys I got mine to work ’in ’x’ random corner looking at the wall’.

Awesome fun in the lord room’s battle. If you guys managed to fraps it at 1fps … I would still like to see it. Was hilariously fun, edge-of seat, wtf, but nonetheless – fun. To all kaineng – Do not move where the battle is, move to where the battle will be… and to those who have stepped up and provided leadership during even the most challenging of battles this week has provided, you all are doing a very good job – thank you. Not often will you hear it out in map chat or in game, but even if it’s not being spoken, know it’s appreciated and keep up the good work.

o_O my guildies think you are talking about me but I am not entirely sure. I did in fact protect the NE camp’s trebs, but that was like 10 hours ago of the time I post this. I was a blonde (only with Hylek Yellow Hue Potion), human female thief with 2 incinerators ;o and I think I do rmb fighting you once or twice, one time was 1v2ing against you and another person at CS’s switchback.

That is the one, it was last night, saw you twice, between 10pm-1am (first at north camp when I came for the yak), the later being at that north east camp above EH when you guys were trebbing EH a minute or so before our counter finally started hitting it. I know with the 2 incinerators it’s gotta be you. I definitely remember, not often I drop that fast with the ‘wtf that was fast ouch’. I’m full pvt & ppt so I was very impressed and I’m interested to understand you line up trait wise and gear, because while I like my current, I’m always interested to try new things to see for myself. But I do understand if you’d rather keep it under locks. I suppose enough trial and error I could figure it out (I just dont want to go full GC, but I had one of those ‘wow, gotta know what that guy is running moments’. Very nice and will keep my eye out for ya all week long now.

Counting the 2 locked threads plus this one … too much chest thumping and derogatory jabs … and kain does not have the most # of posts. Pretty sure we know that.

In any event, minus a lot of the thread which I ignored until today purposely and skipped the remainder of the week in WvW in direct result from this 3 server troll fest (obviously was not worth the time), thank you to the few who provided a couple suggestions or positive criticism coupled with a suggestion. Note: not thanking the many criticisms sarcastically written positively. Those were either a result of, or and ignites for … action/reaction and chest thumping/trolling. Not good, and gets the grade Needs improvement.

I’m going to give some props (which I can’t remember if I did or not early on-sorry the thread(s) have my memory a bit foggy), to:

Maguuma (in game): Generally, I found most of your battles, well thought or planned. So somewhere along those lines, I give you a 1 up on scouting. I’d assume you have some good comms on your mumble that comes with a lot of practice and coordination. I believe this is one of the only things I can take into account as a suggestion where some of our attacks failed. As well, I think the suggestion / improvement to the FC may be considered.

Dragonbrand (in game): Hills keep input, hills keep defenses ongoing plus the telling signs of your golem rushes. Whether or not we’d be able to stop it that fast, is something we can work on improving. In any event, it was good to see the patterns of some of our old commanders in play. Adding on the note on the easily read telling signs of ‘our’ golem rush, I think the commanders should know by now because I know one of them actively posts/lurks.

Best of luck to both your servers, with any luck we may or may not be back in a week. If kitten stomped, then we, Kaineng, will have to do a better job. At least in recognition of our failures and how to improve on them. It really doesn’t matter what I write here, it needs to be communicated and understood in game.

But enjoy your coming battle, and thank you for somewhat (all servers) showing a new leaf in these forums…

DER|P has presence at most organized duels and every one of them (until this one) our members are respectful and will always respect random duels out in the open. The reason this one got into a brawl is because of the lining up system.

Tip for future fight clubs: people have limited play time and do not want to be sitting around waiting 1 hour to get a fight in. Whoever thought that was a good way to run a fight club hopefully will realize that we are all adults and this isn’t pre-school. Every single person should have a chance to fight and all the areas in a fight club should have fights going.

So let me understand how this works. Your adults, who look for a fair chance to play and believe in equal opportunity for those to have a chance to fight.

The rules were laid out in writing well prior to the event, and because you did not agree with them, and choose to ignore the /whisper and get in contact with the organizers, it’s better to break the rules? Even downing random people who come to watch there friends or father?

Pro Tip: Why not just whisper or get on the voice comm together and say "hey guys, we have a lot of people here, and waiting 10 minutes between fights even longer is incredibly lame/boring. Can we set up a couple arenas to help speed it up we want to duel, not watch?

It’s a valid suggestion, and probably would have gone over better. We’ll take your advice and suggestion on here, and maybe if your true to your sentiment and retaining the respectful duels, we can have it be more successful next time? If there’s 10 people per group… break out 2 arena’s more … 3 etc. Maybe … communicate even a quick 1 liner with them so both voice comms can arrange it.

My guild and I have killed many WM running along the road who do not respond at all, definitely something strange going on. Either they are so devoted to their leader they do not deviate from his instructions at all (i.e., they’re insane) or they’re botting.

This is exactly what we train to do. What’s the problem?

Give it a rest already~ useless boring video. They don’t play solo 1v1 scramblers. This video actually shows (look at each player and follow one) … that they are following in a less than coordinated way (but far more coordinated that other guilds). Bots move like >> – >> not >> – ^> … in every battle they are moving a little off.

Looks identical to many EU guilds, in fact some EU move even better ~ you know ones that kick the living crap outta NA guilds in open field combat. Because they move as a solid unit, buff the hell out of each other always. Going to hate on them too? …or you have something against WM because they are better at movement than most of us. the video shows more real player movement than anything else imho.

Here is a real suggestion: if we camp your SW supply, you better learn how to handle that situation better. Two nights ago we set up trebs to get you to come out and fight and it took you two hours to get the camp back, even with your numbers. Yes, you took down our trebs several times, but we weren’t actually trying to take the keep. Call it an excuse if you want, but if you ever get Fort Aspenwood on your west spawn, you will know what a server actually looks like when they want your west keep. They’ll have at least twice as many people as we did and you may enjoy an 8 hour long treb game with swhurrrling elementalists.

And also the day before that we camped your NW tower and you guys tried to build trebs four or five times in really strange places (at least half were in the cata spot range) and they all got wrecked. Then you brought in three golems and knocked down the gate and still didn’t take the tower because you rushed for the lord instead of the superior siege we had on the walls. So uh, pro tip, don’t do that.

You need to improve your open field combat instead of just bringing more and more numbers until you accomplish things. That’s my opinion, anyway. And I’m not talking about random guilds.

There we go. Okay, many know when a bait is occurring to pull people from keeps. But many more… just go to fight and rip down trebs. There’s a bit a digression imho because I’m seeing more and more people playing tunnel vision 1 to 1 (even though they are in groups/teams) … versus as a team. SW / SE & S camps (aka… enemy spawn camps, are going to be expected to be toughest with least resistance (from us, just knowing it’ll flip continually – although I would hope that would attract more coordinated camp teams). Unless it becomes a situation like it’s been for some time now (the way the week is going-look at where they go, and chase tail = not good). Thank you for actually pointing it out though saiyr. I think more siege has been uselessly tossed around this match than any of past.

The 3 golem thing I missed, I also heard it was a bad night for hacks and just overall not a very enjoyable experience. Work obligations, so I can’t provide inputs or insight to help paint the picture. But you’re right.

The 2 major item’s as a server that needs improvement (I see anyways) that have come from this week, are … open field tactics … flat out. Everyone knows a portal train, and golem rush, they get boring fast. Everyone knows a treb spot, that easily gets ripped or countered. Overall instead of following the dorito, or waiting for offensive strike, open field tactics and multi squads (for multiheaded strikes or defenses … NI)

The second, is scouting and the boring* jobs. No one is doing them. At least it feels that way. Needs improvement. When we hit something is someone contesting a WP (i spent the better part of a couple hours doing this day 2), is anyone cutting off reinforcements/resources?

No, definite room for improvement. Sometimes it’s frustrating. I almost lost it last night, and seriously taking a break right now… is not going to help. Just prolongs bad habits, that have been picked up over the weeks. Alot of RE still exist, of its core, but over time… we always have influx of various skill levels incoming to the guild.

So I sit and janitor ‘something’, or go hit a s/e yak (knowing full well there will be about 3-6 EA/WE guys escorting). I’m bored, and no one wants to practice. I could care less if the whole map flipped. At least we could try some things.

Littlefeather and half of RE couldn’t get in on reset. Just sayin… if you DC’d it was game over … he waited patiently in queue for like 7 hours, to no avail. Ether dc’d mid command about 1 hour in, same thing – wasn’t able to get in. Also fyi … our fort on gar was stuck at 99.9% …

Whatever, funnier things have and will happen when you cook up a Kainguumabrand showdown. They both were in vent, everyone was. It was kinda funny looking from the inside out.

It’s near impossible to deal with an unguilded hacker, which I think is what most of the reports on DB were.

It’s actually rather easy to deal with unguilded hackers. It’s not you job, so don’t assume you have any sort of input in any of it. All data is within Anet’s 4 walls, anything we provide in the form of pic, video and such is just that. Not the data they use.

Guilded tags are a ‘nice offering’ from one server to another officer, so they can kick them

You guys do realize that many of our NA base (like you guys) … just stay up later than you right~ especially around reset/saturday night? We just sleep in the next morning. I put in 12 hours a day this weekend, while watching the Superb Owl. The reason we are queued isn’t based on asian populus alone, in fact … alot of our NA players sit and fist shake because we have been at it for 12 hours and we’re waiting to hand off $ for upgrades to our friends, and update them on build queues and such. And if we are putting facts out, korean + taiwanese + chinese. I’m sure there’s more …

I won’t be dining here again this week, this meal isn’t satisfying at all.

Your not familiar with speed hacking then are you?

Look at my skillbar (25% speed increase), even if they had 33% (8% fast than I), they couldn’t achieve movement like that ‘lagging’. It’s speed hacking, we found one last week on our server, who thankfully now is gone. The exact same thing. Also, been pointed out to their own server members and communicated with … who also saw the video and do not have place for this trash in our games.

I figured the thread would be as such reviewing the FA one last week. Kinda easy to see the pattern, but it’s all fun, and I rather enjoy the jabs. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been the solo contesting SH for the hour. Was it noticed, yeah … admitting it or not, I got my dues from the EA crew.

But a job’s a job. Mag’s … I really enjoy the vent chat you give our group. “Okay guys, let’s go up to the third floor gar, mag’s left… only db and us. ….. Looky looky mag’s back up to on top clearing house, hold on don’t res… just watching them… yep the ran out again, okay new plan…”

In any event, there ‘are’ a lot of fun battles ongoing, so props out to both servers. Whether it’s a camp fight, a random ninja strike, or whatever… enjoying the battlefield very much.

Skipped the kitten hugging for 6 pages. Just popping on because I wanted to shout out to mags and db, in kbbl last night, early morning. Yep, 3 way battle for 2 hours+ at garr waskittenN (bouncing back and forth from gar > db > gar) and the yak escort (when ya need supplies to gar, patrol knows no limits ). Was up to 5am last night, little addicted to the matchup, and felt it this morning. Good god it was a lot of fun. Hope everyone on other bl’s got the chance to have this excitement. That fully upgraded db, wasn’t exactly the easiest to contest either on my war … was really missing my thief, but was not intending on queuing again.

Repair gods ate well last night, couldn’t help it having to run straight into gate for contest. Keep up the good battles, and team spirit.

P.S. – If you don’t have full exotics, get them. Everyone we fight will have them. If you have full exotics, get ascended gear.

Adding food, eat it. I know there’s no point generally if nothign to do, until it’s battle. Get your food, oil, offerings, venom, whatever you can.

And one more, to the upscaled folks. Gear scaling. Ensure your armor is at least the same level as you are, not going to say exotics and rares every lvl for 80 lvls … just try to ensure you get gear equal to your current level so it scales you and you are not an 80 running with a lvl 60 armor/weapon.

Gold sinks exist in all aspects of the game. This is one of them. Until there are some improved mechanics and functions useful for some of you commanders, it’s just a gold sink.

Also to the guy regarding the underground guy. Sometimes random events occur in combat, using some skills at a location mid combat sometimes tears through the z axis terrain. I remember months back this happened to one of our mesmers using blink in a supply camp. He was stuck and couldn’t get back up. Was kinda funny, and interesting to see the art and terrain from underneath, but he teleported back to wp shortly after.

Not sure I ever saw something like that at klovan or ql, but just putting it out there. Reporting it also helps anet check there log and map in case it was cause by a glitch. I bet he rocketboot straight through the terrain. At least, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, and he’s not even on my server.

What is driving me nuts is I have seen about two dozen of those chests and they seem to have the exact same crap as the bags. I really don’t need any more spikes. Come to think of it I haven’t hit an orange since the patch and only 6 or so yellows. I have also been on a server running the out manned buff which I think should create better drops.

^^ This, exactly same/similar story … well maybe a couple more rares ~a dozen or so … but only ever heard someone ‘once’ say they got an orange. Coulda been trolling, maybe not, who knows.

In any event, the new chests seem to give green ‘something’ that will seel for 1s32c … so ya, same crappy items, different delivery mechanism.

I’m impressed by the sportsmanship everyone is showing in this thread, especially all the KN guys coming out to give CD and YB props for putting up a fight even though the whole map will eventually be blue again. I tend to take a break Monday – Wednesday so I’m fresh for the weekend, but I know plenty of SoH’ers and other CD’ers have been keeping up the fight all week. I’m excited to see how next week’s match goes.

A good battle is worth more than anything else, personally speaking. I find thrill of victory, agony of defeat ‘in that moment’ … is what a lot play for. Not the score. Don’t think I will forget this when pie chart shows a loss, rather the opposite. An example, only got on 3 hours last night, 30 mins prep and new daily pre work, ori, then a couple hours in wvw. Straight. Had fun, light… ran with a guildie, no intentional coordination (I didnt even jump on vent). Map was very quiet. Won some battle, lost a couple others. Best was the western show down at the camp, where I am clicking on each opponents name as they come in to check prof, and whammo – his mates caught up and caught us before we moved on the retreat. Lost battle, very poorly played, looking at relatively useless info. But was curious to see if it was a guild or not, and what professions they were for future mtg’s. It was a guild team, mesmer, guardian and 2 others. Made quick work of us, and my /p chat must have looked something like this …
“looks like mes, guard.. another now 3, no 4 total let’s bac vqwweee vee v”

followed by …
“… okay that didn’t go so well =) "

When you don’t log off until the waypoint is queued through and fort is done on reset/sat… makes silly sense. On top of that, I would expect higher continual flip/turnover all day long and all night long. People want to do more, and multiple weeks of the cozy isn’t actually fun (regardless of what you may believe). It’s boring to most, with some random signs of fun. Why was no one was home Tuesday night at what 2am pst because little to none vest any effort right now. True story.

People want fun. Want fight, want to move and enjoy various aspects of wvw. No different than you. Kaineng not so dumb to think stop learning. Stop practicing, we win tier1? And not so blind to realize takes wins and loses to get where we want to go. We work at it, and always want to improve. Not a big deal, but everyone say different. Every week. Love to hate kain = fotm

PS. We will lose matches-many good servers here, won’t change goal. Still going for top, much like others

I was with Kaineng for a long time, ever since Devona’s Rest was there and gave us a big whopping. I stayed in Kaineng through the tough times but I had enough once all the transfers came and ruined Kaineng. I completely agree with Fannwong about Kaineng not being ready for the remaining tiers. If zerging is all Kaineng’s got then they will be surprised to see the the outcome of this Friday’s match. Someone needs to stop Kaineng, all they have is numbers, no strategy.

If it were a stalemate na matchup yb would have had there map back by now. Not just garrison for an hour (twice) or hell 5 hours – doesn’t matter.

If it were stalemated, we would be fighting for our tower and keep. you know they took garrison off na prime too right?

If it was stalemated, our servers would have been queued tuesday /wednesday and thursday…

If you credit WM completely (yes, they deserve credit, because they have much they have been able to do, but most importantly is helping server guilds, and random players…develop? does not happen as much right now)

They are a force. Like other servers have strongest. Do not discredit anyone. I see many in kaineng who all do support and help the server. The match is not stalemated because we have not ever been pushed back without taking it right back. Regardless of time. Keep it in mind. Also … attitude like ‘omg kain lost something they the worst’ or ‘omg i killed kain 5 guys haha, terrible’ should have amounted to something by now? Especially when dust blowing on maps.

For many guilds, new and old … there is alot of work and teamwork, and getting to know people, and communicate. I met a TL commander last night for quick south camp run, ran with them for a bit, good, tag on / tag off / good comms. I met some players who have no guild, but good map comms, good again. I met a mesmer I previously met in the JP, and went take some camps with him (upscaled, but good).

^^ Small example, of learning and building positive relations with players, building relations opens comms easier. Know who is what and can do what. Gets better with more competition. Things* will need to happen, and people/commanders workign together will grow.

To say WM = kain is wrong. To say WM is unreal = nice compliment, and I like that. But if you want everyone to be best, then we need to work together, not apart. Kain is good, and will fight harder than 100,500 posts of people not wanting them to do well.

All for laughs, so when kain lose 1 match, kittenolol. And people predicting kain lose long time. Only kain expect challenge and lose in t1, t2 maybe. Others put gold on t5, t4, t3 wall. Like loving to dislike them. But kaineng, is strong, and full of strong guilds who are smart enough to know always work on improving skills.

I find it funny that threads like this start, because kain needs a loss, and know how to handle it to improve on the areas that contributed. Lots of work and improvements is always needed.. It’s an ongoing thing. Just because we may or may not be ready for tier ‘x’ does not mean we will not be in tier x and win tier ‘x’ at some point. It’s a desert out there some days, others not so much. People want to compete, they just have no reason pushing them to do so atm. If anything, I would rephrase the thread to, wow … it has been a long, patient road up here… time to shake off the rust.

Ummm … to everyone reading, do not make wild assumptions and conclusions. They just lead to more useless forum thread trolls.

So, to put in single point, discussions were discussed, not everything was agreed upon, some still to work out (this is expected, as you have strong leaders who all wish to have there inputs).

And for Kaineng to work hard and improve… nothing else is said. In fact, we have had some opportunities to do just that last night. Jang is right to state clarity on his position, and hopes.

Public forum is not avenue for anything other than publicity. Waste time here, when should be in wvw ~ not lololols in forum.

And to the kaineng’s I have spoken to. Keep up the good work. Need practice, 1 week, 2 weeks … does not matter. Need more practice, but you on the right path.
