By chance do these map limits scale down to brackets (0-50, 51-100, 101-133)? … example … if CD can field 40, Yak’s can field 60 and Kain can field 100 at the present timer … would all server receive a maximum map capacity of say a balance 40 or 50ish and the remaining be queued?
I’ve always been curious about this, or is it … 0-133 regardless of opponents running populus?

<Gets refill from kitchen, logs in> … okay now… daily reset let’s see…

15 attacks dodged
10 items crafted
20 gatherings

okay… hmm… armor still damaged from last night, <goes to repair shop in LA> …. hmmm how’s my food & oil supply …. low, crap. <opens TP panel, buys food of choice, buys oil of choice, buy 30 wood or scraps or something trivial. Collects all goods from TP, hits craft station en way to bank, checks if there’s any last things I need …
Go WvW yay no queue~! (collect crap during downtimes, there is in fact some periods where you have down times)
Go WvW – crap a queue, hmmm where to queue from cursed shore and farm, or go hit southsun shores and grab some mithril, ori and wood … omg i got a flower, what the hell is this trash ~ whoa they really worth that much woot?
Really not hard at all.
Yaks, are you guys scared of Kaineng? Would be nice to stop attacking us in EB.
So yaks are attacking Kain.
Attacking Kain means they’re scared.wut?
does not computeRephrased for clarity. Nothing against most Yaks but am a bit annoyed at the ones that are attacking us when we have a common enemy,
In other words: you reap what you sow.
I vote this one as second best post of the thread …

Personally speaking, the battle at YBBL last night, reigned as the most fun I have had all week ~ reset was fun, but the gar fight just had so much ‘things to do’. So shout out to the yakkington’s who all participated.
To the folks on kain who managed to helped. Big thanks in part to your assistance and fight. It was a long battle, and I’m certain to see many more of those couple hour battles as we move on. I hope all sides involved enjoyed the skirmish. But the week’s not done and we have a few more good days of battle ahead.
Lastly, going to shout out to the bv thief c p and orb guard who kept me down, gj guys. I think you both must have been partied together … with an axe war I believe too? In any event … you guys fought hard in the wee hours. Appreciate it.
Very nice video’s RG … I always enjoy seeing how well top tier guilds move and play. That includes the opponents, who you have provided credit to on our NA servers.
gj putting them together too (the videos) to whomever is doing that. Hope one day to battle you guys in GvG style, but until then can only learn, practice, and have fun.
Keep up the good work!
~X
Im quite interested to see what happens. I would not be surprised if they all jumped ship when they start to hit other stacked servers and realise how much work they are actually going to have to put in 24/7 and still have your kitten beat from time to time.
This is what we want to practice and compete more at. Exactly this.
Not jump ship, everyone is looking for more… and it’s like adhd, “okay, nothing to do. ah crap” …
But battle is battle. And there is a lot to do. I guess time will tell. I can tell you one thing, I’ll be there, though thick and thin, doing all of the jobs as they are needed. No matter how boring they are.
I’m not a pew pew go follow shiny guy.

I’m sorry, I had to skip half of your well thought out posts on the topic. I can’t read through them … especially those from FA, mag, and kain. Not to mention our prior opponent’s looking for our demise.
Is this a betting thread? I mean it seems full intention on guestimating the demise of Kain at what tier because ‘x’, ‘y’, ‘z’ are the show stoppers.
I thought this is … kain should not skip because of ‘x’, ‘y’, ‘z’. I’ve only seen one response from a fellow kain to that effect, xenth.
Tbh, everyone would rather have the week … we will win and lose. Just like the rest of the servers, is that bad? no… it will be for reasons stated above from xenth when it occurs. Why? because as also noted, we have not … at all … had to do anything shy of a zerg of defense. & control. Most kains I know actually do hope to hit t3, to give another week of battle, to get to know another enemy. What tactics they may use against us, and to learn as a ‘server’ how to manage them.
Please keep this on topic.
@ Dhar, based on the rating system, whether or not kain would go up 2 brackets (as has occured in past, thanks to the guy who provided that data point (sry forgot, its on page 1) I’m certain its possible to drop lower all the same. Wants and what occurs are different though. I want to see t3 and the 2 opponents. Ratings may say different.
In the end it’s all fun. I know there are some who like to hiphip horray it, but… they are not = all. Nor am I. Kain should hit t3, now. For 1 more week of battle. Do you go to the superbowl with no practice? Without a loss (and how many times does this happen)?
To my friends in [RE]“Rethesis”… It has definitely been a lonnngg time since we have met. If Blackgate were to drop to T2 and Kaineng skips T3 then we’ll be seeing each other again; …… I hope you all keep up the momentum so we can see our brothers again soon
Glad to see you guys are doing well and enjoying the battle. Been a long time since we parted Hollywood. Keep up the battle on BG. We do not hope to skip tiers yet though.
I can’t speak for the other guilds, but I think it’s a consensus that most of us still wish to have that week to gel, work together and improve some foundational items. We get some time each day to do so, but skipping t3 would hurt us more than help us. alot of the other servers battle back and forth up here, winning some weeks and losing others. But all have 1 thing above us, they know much about the opponents patterns and play styles. We don’t yet have that track record as a server (yes, players do, but..) as a server it’s more important to live the experiences and learn from them. With the coming reset of the tiers it may be sooner or longer that we come to arms. Keep well.
This fight is ridiculous, and hopeless. Yak’s is being demolished, purely incinerated..
Hey, we’re still fighting and pushing forward as best we can.
Noone thinks there’s really any point to it, or chance to win, but that’s irrelevant. Benders fight regardless of how stacked against them the odds are.
Soccerfan, not really called for.
Braxxus, and others (I think sc0rn), and yak’s. You have plenty of strength in yak’s. I see it first hand spending my prime in your BL. I am just catching up to the past 2 days threads. the reason for this, is most of the NA prime time I have had a great opportunity to battle with some of you. 2 nights ago, we had a small crew protecting yak’s and you guys had a small crew (I think) looking for fights. Not caring about camps or yak’s, but definitely were looking for a level playing field fight. You guys were great fyi. I think that crew battled us about 2-3 times over an hour before heading off and battling elsewhere (bunker engi, I believe guard or war, 2 randoms who left for the last battle a mes and ele I think).
Last night I have to admit, was a calm before storm scenario which almost led to you taking back the garrison. At one moment, it was dead quiet, peaceful people slowly left the map … 10 minutes later, towers taken, trebs trebbing, open walls, golems, the real deal. And there’s us with about 20 maybe scattered on the map.
What a fun battle. 0 supplies been going to garrison for the majority of the night. Truly alot of fun. I hope you guys enjoyed that as well.
~ Xgammon / Hexin / X Sorrows
Kaineng is a good server to play on.
1. WvW – lots of players who help and give decent comms. Friendly and competitive.
2. Dungeons – yes, I see many in LA LF ‘x’ M dungeon or frac
3. Dragons’ – get burned down faster than ever, free loot – crappy but free
4. Temples – always / often see ‘x’ temple open, or ‘x’ temple event to open on map chats and sometimes LA
There’s more – but that right there is about my night usually, with ori node. WvW being number 1, dungeons only for badges/money for alts. Waiting for a couple days till I make my 5th to see changes.
I don’t want to skip brackets. There’s a lot of people who still need to gel and as a server, we need to use the extra time to keep working on things. To the commanders out there who provide general tips to the consensus while running with them in less intense situations, please keep it up. It all helps and even if no one is sitting there and thanking you for tips and guidance …. it is appreciated. Many guilds have there own niche’s and tips that work and help out, but I think the true power is knowledge sharing to help the overall populous.
Get on the same page together and work like a well oiled machine. Yesterday we had a couple good and bad highlights which I hope we improve upon. An example, was the CD force continually on there gar, we could have prevented that long drawn out battle, much quicker, as well as when they moved to their breakout tower. But we let them have there supplies for far too long. Small things like that, I think we should be communicating more on. I think we chat this sometimes, but don’t act on it with appropriate forces due to us still gelling and getting an understanding of each other. For example, I would love to know guild groups running together on a map that are in the 10 person/2 party range, but not with a tag enabled.
Scouts? Any of the solo guys who know can see #‘s at ’x’ objectives with out engaging? More good data. CD ran with 3-4 guarding yak’s on route to building gar back, was a gj considering the opportune time and need to get the reinforced walls up.
Small things, which would help. Overall, I have definitely seen some good comms come across, and think kains are doing well while improving with each other. I hope everyone had fun last night, I know I did.
I love some of the posts, I vote that crystal desert post .. post of the thread. Creative jab, and funny as hell. Now only if you posted a image to go along with it, would have been the icing on the cake.

On topic, I like the YB few running around, drawing the diversions with the camps to take shots at keeps. I forget what you guys were calling it last week, but you coined it something (which I forgot, but like the term). And I think it’s too early to talk on the match ups though. It’s not like mag’s got transfers and FA did not.
~X, Kaineng
Good morning everyone, that was a fun long night last night, and appreciate some of the battles in YBBL, plenty of enjoyable moments and had the opportunity to run with many players last night.
scÖrn – the garrison battles were fun. I’m guessing you were the guy laying the ballista across the wall or did you go up top with the AC? In any event, thanks. That reminded exactly what I was expecting, an Alamo
Thanks to everyone who participated, I hope many had fun times, now … to make … coffee
I have much respect for YB, and CD … and rightly so. They have many players with heart and class, but most of all, respect. Sometimes this gets thrown astray when people get into competitive objectives (whether in game or irl). I’ve seen it a lot, here and around the web, as well irl. Even been victim to it myself I’ll admit.
Attitude speaks volumes, enjoy the week guys.
Kaineng shouldn’t have trouble, CD seems pretty much dead from xfers and I don’t see YB putting up much fight either.
Please no. I hear YB has a lot of heart. I hope to see CD & YB out in as much force as can muster, and have some fun tonight.
your assumption scares me. Not another week like that.
I would love the loot bag bubble to work like the siege commander bubble, repel from leaving trap.
Players still think higher tier matches are something special.
Let’s say you would get pay the same amount for playing in the NHL and the AHL. So money is not the issue. Would you rather play in the AHL? It is easier work, but the fulfilment isn’t there, specially if you hope to win the big price Stanley Cup eventually.
If you are playing for fun, then it won’t matter. In fact, you would probably perfer the AHL since it aren’t as competitive.
… moment in time. But if the rules allowed the AHL to play in the NHL based on how they perform, it would be the same league. Your comparison would be more related to how we ‘Kaineng’ have been playing in the lower tiers. And do not believe it remains that way.
We all play the same league, and all play for the same cup. Happy to have you guys on Kaineng, and hope you guys soon feel that sadness turn to fun. Welcome Chips.
Regarding your full guild and friends cross region, I’m sorry to hear about it. It’s never fun when people you enjoy playing with part ways. Been there in many mmo’s and even gw1. I’ll buy some fireworks for ya tonight
No more Q.Q if they strip everything out and achieve …
real balance … sounds fun
Hold on, wasn’t the 12k crit coming from using it in conjunction with a GC (insert profession here) in a siege golem? I want to make sure I use them correctly, but not going to spend 10G for 9 attacks.
More toys to play with in wvw? /buying … in every way I can. Never used them yet, want to have some fun, will definately get flammed for it, but Anet will fix it sooner =) … do you hear how much fun that guild is having in the video … ^^^ they can’t stop laughing. This week can be dubbed the week golems rained down.
=)
Maybe they get cut in the update, maybe not. Don’t care, I was sold on the video earlier this week, seems like a guild who likes to have fun, and not Q.Q ….. I want to try it out, if I laugh once, it’s money well spent.
I can’t wait to unleash some fury today. All the best CD / YB … will see you on the BL’s
I want to clear something up here, we do not auto-ban people without investigating the account first. Our CS staff reviews reports that come in and if they find questionable activity, they take whatever action they deem appropriate.
Kind of like the name reporting that happened in masses at launch and still happens periodically? It seems pretty clear that when an individual account is reported multiple times the action comes out pretty quick and often times not for a valid reason. If that’s what investigating means then I’ll be kittened. And when the account is unbanned, it’s typically because whoever does it knows it’s not a valid ban.
About the reporting. One thing that came to mind. I would love to see those reporting falsely counter suspended. Just think how much more carefully it would be used, how much more thought a player would use before pulling the trigger.
And I find it coincidental that many officers and commanders from WM get reported en mass, gj gg. The immaturity of some of this community is pretty bad. (even baits me in sometimes). Can they not represent themselves with pride, using there name and there guild tag without harassment? Sorry to hear the issue WM and Anet, and hope this is resolved in a better manner. I mean ya stood next to each other at one point.
How does 1 pick and chose the selected targets?
Should I go around and just roam party report? Is that the fotm? Move to an opponents server (hmm where do you think I would go… oh possibly back to nsp and ar), tell my guild members … there commanders are ‘x’, ‘y’, ‘z’… commence report lols. I sure hope not.
Cut both sides some slack, they will sort it out. Whoever pick and chose targeted this attack. Otherwise there whole guild would be banned if WM were bots. Talk to any investigator, targeted.
Lame.
There is no cheating, and what is being stated above is in fact true.
And a guild like yours is systemically destroying months of matches by having no server loyalty and transferring down every time you can’t hack it.
^^ This has no place here. Nor impact to anything, nor is true. Have a look below at the tiers in millennium, upon departure. 1 week per tier going up to equal ground is expected. In that week, the server as a whole, has made it aware and all servers a talking point in that week. The only thing our server could do, in order to limit it to 1 week at a time, was to win by margin enough to bump up brackets and not stick around multiple weeks. In that time, we have addressed and acknowledged it to many.
The issue, and request … is the 10 banned or suspended accounts that are wrongly so. Jaix is addressing this, with arenanet. As you can tell, it’s written and reviewed by a professional, in a first and formal letter and request to ArenaNet. The rest of us have no matter in this, unless you are one of the people reporting without evidence. I would hope not.
If you have evidence to the matter 1 way or the other, it’s the only thing useful.
Jaix, I hope Anet rectifies this, or alternatively provides just cause and evidence to your members.
~X
We all have those situational awareness moments. Ever have a laugh about something with a guild mate while in open field ;-) … you are not alone. In fact, sometime this week, I sat , afk’d right out front of a spawn, while pm’ing a guild member about something completely unrelated (where my brother was, so was looking through menu’s and such, with I’m chat open typing – no wasd able to function), got jumped started to lose health, and had a mad dash to close windows. Any else here have a wife/gf/kids/ happens to many people. Not every minute can we be 100% on our game in a dead week. Hell happens in busy weeks too. I guess i’m just trying to say, human nature … timing, coincidences always occur.
To the ebay folk, and DR folk who I’ve had some pleasure in battling and yes toying with each other a bit, hope all sides shared in some fun this week (even in your own ways). Also going to toss out a BIG THANK YOU … to the many who offered some good constructive discussions for everyone earlier on regarding the week, and those who helped seeing things from multiple sides before speaking, understnading all sides or trying to at least. They may have been far from many, but it’s appreciated and sheds light on events of the week, and adds a little to the community.
Best of luck in future battles ;-)
There is also a DR guy … I think it’s jamesigall.5938 – you sir, do a kind act for the server. I hope your folks there understand this. It’s good too see the battlelog and tale being told, in fact inspirational. I hope it brings DR players who can’t wait until Kain leaves, back to your side and more glorious tales can be told, whether in victory or defeat.
That raises the question: can you collect more tears with a massive zerg, or by camping jumping puzzles?
Massive zergs that ruin a bracket I would guess. Only the parttimers really care about the jumping puzzles, the real wuvwuv players are on the field where it matters.
I don’t think so. I think wvw players don’t care about armor repairs and such. Always expect massive zergs, and all that jazz and drama that comes alongside… in here. I vote camp JP. Reasoning: JP offers free reward, many people runs alts through for free siege, and camping JP = no freebies. Americans like free things. Take it away, and you have reason for emotions. Frustrations give reason to justify war. American’s like war.
Backup reason… massive zerg is expected, and often rewardless and people win / lose fights, trained in their mind. No more tears. Already fighting, already war. You can’t make war, no need for emotions (except humor).
I actually think his post was in respect to the fact he went to visit a comrade or friend from DR. Or there was some arrange meeting place for them (whether duel or dance or anything doesn’t matter- almost sounds like friend to friend personal opinion of course). Why would an individual ever want to scout for this attic (would be beyond me)? I think none of the below is even relevant.
Now I see why a bunch of DR came out of nowhere and ran me over at the windmill. Guess they saw the RE tag and assumed I was involved. Thing is I literally did not see them until they were right on me. I assume that culling was involved there. I found all this interesting considering I was “visiting” (emotes) a DR asura ranger at the time this was going on. I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time?
If you’d had scouts posted, or more situational awareness/paranoia, or if the guys we’d just wiped had the courtesy to warn you we were going back to the south you all could have teleported out way ahead of us.
It’s not safe out there; nor is it for the timid.
Just my take though. Seems like he says it plain and simple. Wrong place, wrong time. I read it as random coincidence, and completely unrelated to any of the events. I think that’s what he is saying
Not, anything related to your answer. More like an ‘ah, that’s what happened there moment, haha – in light fashion’ But glad you felt like tossin the wvw book at him on protocol of how he should approach the scary land that is Borderlands. <bop you on head silly>

! Fight Club !
Time: 4PM PST, tomorrow (Thursday)
Location: Kaineng BL, south supply campThis is where we can show our skill, but at the same time relieve some stress. With the score being what it is now, we can still have some fun. This is what Fight Club is all about. If you’re friendly, want to get to know people or guilds from other servers, and can wait in line, then your invited
We can party up to chat it up or you can even vent up with us to help keep your side coordinated throughout the event
Rules:
1. Opponents must be identified, usually by entering the ring or going up to one another. Usually form line ups single file no budging.
2. Both opponents must do a /bow before the fight starts
3. Once a player is down the fight stops and both /bow and exit the ringYou can stay on your servers side of the area if your shy lol ;p, or mingle and costume brawl while your waiting as well
1v1
2v2
3v3
4v4
5v5
Golem v Golem
etc.Bring your own beer and enjoy and have fun, hope to see every one there
Just going to re-iterate the above … and also ask if there are any DR or Ebay guys who may want to do a golem vs golem? Or maybe more would love to do a 3 way golem brawl 2v2v2? … Being on kaineng borderlands, can make them ahead of time from the camps directly outside your spawn exit (SE, SW)
Instead of bowing we can just /sleep and wake? Just tossing it out there for the fraps guys … I think it would be a neat thing to capture and share in a video with some cheese music, or to have on hand for personal guild videos. The ‘we like to have fun too side of things’.
Sadly at work till 5pm pst, and won’t be able to get there till about 6-6:30ish.
I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but if I didn’t like the gameplay on Ehmry Bay I’d go somewhere else. I don’t need to be pitied for not being on a top tier server because I made the choice to not be on one.
People have there own choice. Your saying everyone on kaineng is here because we all made the same choice is wrong. People have clarified, those who spoke anyhow, on their personal choice. Along with some of the guild decisions made. I really don’t see how you say you have the ability to make your own choice, but we do not? We provide direct answers. Sure I bet there are ‘some’ who fall into your category. But saying everyone on kaineng is = 1 answer, is flawed in your own logic.
I agree to some of what you said, but again… maybe you should just take answer a, being answer a. Not anything else. And sometimes an apology is just an apology to cover en mass, the frusrations expressed from your server and mates who have strong feelings against this type of thing. It’s not pity, little is genuine and communicating as such to those who expressed grief over the issue. Leave it at that.
We all make our own decisions, sometimes by guild, sometimes by person. I hardly believe that we all have the same idea. I moved here for a completely different reason than my guild. But support my guild. Now I support the server. I care less about winning or score. I really could care less about armor repairs and badges (already have a couple gifts, and gear). I care about other things in wvw that matter to me, and how I want to play. The next kaineng player or transfer will also have his/her own opinion, perspective and reasoning. Not the same. Make sense? By your logic, you should be able to understand that.
An assumption is an assumption, which is perfectly fine, just call it what it is.
Interesting analogy, but sure
I’m glad you’re comparing T1 to the w/best coast.
I should have added, while having townsfolks sling mud and flaming bags while passing by
All I know is that this has happened before and it was spectacularly dramatic and any WvW centric guild that expected to pile onto a T8 server and not get QQ and QQ about the QQ has been living under a rock. And if they knew that and didn’t care, that’s fine by me, but they should admit to it.
Ya, just a long … long road. Like walking on hot pavement from the atlantic to the pacific
Is it, in fact, good game design to let guilds migrate down?
I actually like your suggestion of lateral. But transferring down offers 2 things. Hittng the low population en mass with like minded individuals, builds an overall bigger base of wvw centric players on the server. Not to say other people don’t join … even new players join. But it opens more ground to ‘help’ build a server based on a common interest. (Also why many of us get along well in game, regardless of guild).
EDIT: wow I missed the second thing. Small and very irrelevent, but it also adds some more mid tier competition. More middle ground when varying servers hand over a few guilds each. <— see somewhat irrelevant.
That being said, a question: if you transferred to a tier-15 server from a tier-4 server in hopes of building a WvW culture from the ground up? Why didn’t you, instead, transfer to a tier 1 or tier 2 server where such a culture already existed? What was the appeal of being a big fish in a small pond?
There is a common misconception other servers continually make. Big fish, small pond. Badge farming. And ego boost lololing. No. Not even close. Those are outcomes of the inevitable when frustrations are aired publicly for others disgust in what some players wanted to do. They assume the above ^^ but it’s not the case. Truth of the matter is to have more wvw players than less. Yoou cannot move to a t1-t4 server directly en mass. There are plenty of good guilds on declining servers who are looking for more competitive environment. Moving to a server aimed at that focus will provide just that, for them. We don’t want to be in this tier, play styles are far different. We’ve apologized week after week, after being trolled (due to frustrations being aired, and cause and effect).
Yes. Before you say the question, yes it has effects on other servers. Soemtimes negative, which in turn create animosity to us on forums here, and then people boasting about how great they are for some self justification. No idea why, nor do I care. People can do whatever they want. Personally speaking I want to play, and learn from an overall stronger community, which kaineng offers. That does not mean other servers do not have exceptional talented players, teams and guilds. But for some reason it gets construed as such. And in turn becomes some kitten match, I don’t get that, maybe because I’m not in college (sry kids) little older and work in a mature gaming environment.
But wow, I will say this … the road up to an appropriate tier, is painful and long. If there was a way the glicko system can be modified, I would hope it would be to move up multiple brackets taking into account actual wvw participation along side glicko rating.
Hex, we’re on popcorn batch 30, that’s almost as many cups of coffee as I have on a good reset night! You want the yummy flavors or straight up, man?
White Cheddar please, haven’t had any of that stuff in a couple weeks.
(edited by Hexin.5603)
It wasn’t… it’s 2 fold. Pugs and random players will do what they want. And the entire page prior to your post (catching up), was trash.
So common things:
1. Players do what they want under the heat of battle. Including res’ing taking away from output
2. We and many guilds on all servers have variety of players with differing skill levels.
3. Can we talk constructive on actual wvw in this thread, open for criticisms, just offer some level of ideas/suggestions to help. Also retain some server to server respect please. <<—- asked nicely
4… didn’t include this, but add images if your from mag’s … I always love the humor, I’m sure many do.
Funny, on Maguuma my experience is quite the opposite…commanders on Mumble are yelling for people not to revive because it’s a waste of time. People do it anyway, of course…
I think this applies to all servers. People sometimes just do things regardless of purpose. The same as people in wvw have varying skill level. I read through the countless attacks at RE above, and yeah kinda upsetting. The guild is not comprised of 10-20 or 30 people alone. It’s not some elitest guild. We have some very skilled players, and some newer players. Hell we’re trying to help and provide some base knowledge to these guys nightly as they get deeper in the game. It is however a very large guild. People don’t seem to put 2 + 2 together.
Times like that where I respect other guilds on kaineng who decide it’s better off not to openly discuss with the other servers on the forums, because internally on the server … people are great. Here … not so much, I would expect a little better, especially from the leaders of all the opposing guilds. Many have high respect for opponents, and I thought the purpose of the 3 server threads is catered towards these people providing some form of constructive feedback. Not I got badges, kthxbye.
I find it very intriguing to see other servers from outside this matchup, who maintain this level of discussion… many kaineng people who are providing open compliments to opposition… but those postings are convoluted by a lot of immaturity. I see a few that have been good contributions from EB and DR. But more or less, there are far too many posting some form of self inflated ego booster or random attack. Not singling anyone out here, just trying to point out the obvious and keep a level of maturity so we can actually have some constructive conversations.
We all like battle right? Noctai … new batch of popcorn please
d/d ele on ebay bl (ebay server)… (just a bit north of west exit) I could not hit you for the life of me. Blocked everything, very good job there. Very interested in speaking to you regarding the build, if you see this, pm me please. I ignored the other guy, I could easily tell I was not going to win that with the amount of blocks going off.
I was the one trying to get away from the zerg, at least enough out of site that we could fight. Every time we engaged they kept running up so we split.
Server Kaineng. Same issue, p2, bugged at end. I see multiple posts on this. I only need 60 tokens and it’s a bit silly but will just do another path. Someday it will get fixed maybe? I find it hard to believe this problem cannot be replicated. She still keeps telling us the wheels keep turning.
Whether you kill everything en route, or skip middle boss and trash mobs to the room, p2 just does not work.
EDIT: Sorry but I find this humorous
You can lower your chances of bugging her ….
Well, I think the old adage “perception equals reality” applies here. I guess try to keep WM supported on here. It’s about the only thing we can do.
^^ This. Internally on the server, who cares what other servers think. We all fight for kaineng.
Naysayers will be naysayers. Trolls, trolls (and its all over the place). And yes, there are many who may have there own just causes for dilike, whether personal or not.
But in the end… everyone on our server, is fighting for our server. Those are the guys I enjoy learning and practicing with, regardless of guilds =) and for the most part I have seen everyone cooperating very well.
Everyone on kain do a great job so far, and we will only continue to grow more unified as we develop. I like that about the server.
Queues are in relation to numbers.
Why is it so fun in game on Kaineng? and so not on forums? Even the guru forums nowadays – flooded with trolling.
Simple truth. WvW is enjoyable , Nothing to do now? All commanders are helpful. Show tips, tactics, to share with your guilds – maybe basic, maybe not. Server reset every week. Bigger servers who have WvW population all face same thing. Kaineng is good server for WvW, that is all that needs to be said. Don’t care why not going to come. That’s individual opinion.
Hi there, I hope one of the many guilds have offered home to you here on Kaineng. if not, yet … feel free to pm me in game tonight and maybe we can spend a little time in battle together.
I may be misreading this post, but I thought your on server kaineng. If not, please disregard my offer to run together =)
Anyways, if your still looking for an active wvw guild, community. We have plenty.

Well since there isn’t much point to loading up the game at all until the servers shuffle, and from what I’ve been reading the kaineng zerg is going to make the next matchup more of the same as this one might as well drop off some snaps of the typical scene everywhere on the map.

And finally at our spawn after getting zergballed out of everywhere else:

Thank you sir …
Of course your happy to face DB again they broke your old servers sprites and now you want to ride WM’s momentum to get revenge.
nothing changes with RE.
The thing I don’t quite understand is why are you saying we are riding WM’s momentum ? Yeah, they are good in WvW, but we as NEO Alliance have our own thing to worry about. WM worries about WM, they keep their map painted just as well as we’ve been doing. Matter of fact, all of us combined are the ones that are bringing Kaineng to the top tier. So much hate and negativity, we have a start of a new beginning as of right now it’s coming along great.
Actually Kaineng started pushing 600+ PPT when WM arrived. All i remember of RE is a guild who used to claim all the fame of the server so much that even it’s own allied guilds would have to speak up to remind them that they were there too.
And that attitude, changed and died long ago. You seriously don’t remember the 6-8 people defending your keep takeovers at 1am pst server time until 3am ish in EB? Of course not, on the other side of the fence it’s just a ‘just a matter of time battle’.
If I were troll your posts, I would add all I remember of a couple DB commanders who continually laid build site on top of build site even when we take it out with our defense siege, for an hour on end each night.
Things do change, and I personally look forward to the opportunity to play against DB with not 1, not 2, not 5 specific guilds … but everyone who is on kaineng. Each night I try to take some time to walk with some other commanders, stop and say hello to other guilds.
Server’s do change, and I look forward to fighting your EA squad again, along with DB’s new found allies.
One more note I forgot to add to fellow Kainengians …
I would love to learn from some of you. Is there any interest in maybe getting on later and running some profession groups in wvw, sharing tricks of the trade (in each person’s opinion), tips between each other to bring back to our respective guilds? Not really a training per say, more of a social … I was thinking of piggybacking this idea on the FC, for those not actively participating, or battling. A place to share discuss builds, or things we found effective or ineffective and why. Something to be said about building some cohesion, even casually …
Looking forward to battling you guys again as well.
Kaining has many guilds, in fact I wish I could get more 1:1 with some of them. I hold the utmost respect for all guilds who participate and help on this server.
Within the NEO alliance, we are just a fraction of that, and we realize and know this. We have a job that we do, and we do our best at any given time.
Rockonharder… you say coat tailing, but the fact is simple. It’s a matter of trust between everyone. Between guilds, individuals and between the server wvw community.
Everyone who steps through the portal regardless of size, squad, solo, or zerg… all contribute.
To those around on Kaineng, I would love to get to know some of you better. You know who you are, when I pass on some of my characters… I make it intentional to stop and say hello, welcome or pass a superior over as welcoming / thank you offering.
Feel free to IM me in game, there’s a number of us in NEO who would like to connect, get a stronger idea of what you all like to do / how you like to play without assumption. Add a bit more synergy to our WvW community if I may. Let me know if your guild likes to run squads, what, maps you prefer to play on, general information of playstyle.

Ethose, we’re looking forward to seeing the late night battles very much. DB (EA) are always a fun match up.
I love the OP reference to the outnumbered portal bomb just to take out siege, over and over. Broken my armor set(s) many times over, hell I even ran in with whatever wasn’t broken in inventory.
It’s not Thursday yet, so the other fight clubs / any crashing… I wouldn’t know likely know about.
As stated, we just do it for a fun break, ‘unless the scores are deadlocked/too close to pull away from action’
It’s all good, and Ranc …. you gotta like the tag line at least for giggles, first rule of FC … it’s tea party and optional. It’ may not be your cup of tea, but it’s a nice change of pace …

You won’t get instantly ganked by red names. Theres no trash talk and if you do badly it doesn’t matter. Nobody stakes you, nobody dances on your corpse and nobody boasts about how they owned you on the forum.
^^ This. The only occasion where people stake eachother, is usually when some form of interruption comes through, and you let the opposing server stake the enemy, per the std rules. So if a group of kains come through, you bet your buttt we would sit and watch… and if your on vent, all the better. We can communicate more fluently with each other. It takes all server’s cooperation and teamwork to host the event in a positive fun environment. The outcome, is generally positive and the only thing I see if people come back and say thank you I had fun. Some people even come as spectators, and take screenies. Some like to wear town garbs, or tonics… and some like to bring fireworks.
Everyone /bows before and after. Its the most gentrified place in this game.
It doesn’t matter what class you play or build you use. It doesn’t matter what level you are.
Last week, we saw many upscaled people on kains, and other servers, usually try to keep it somewhat fair and have upscaled versus upscaled.
Or … golem versus golem ;-)
It’s not based on team synergy, or team builds. Although to the AD guys, that’s not to say a 2v2 or 5v5 can’t occur. Most certainly could, and it may be a forum when you guys could excel.
We do it, because people like to learn and improve on minor things … personally. They like to try skills in live combat where most times, they may not have them slotted, but curious how it may play out. I encourage anyone who wishes to participate, to all jump on voice comm, or at least some representation of each server, so you can communicate back to each other.
A bad player or team, may decide to go out and trash it. It’s not cool, and shunned upon, even by many from mates on the server. Please do not consider that an option, we’re not going to and communicate accordingly to our own maps. Also to note, it’s advised to retain the camp under kaineng control, to avoid any people LF something to do. Not mandatory, just helps keep numbers off the map.
Your details regarding PRO and what happened…
- I posted in forums as a “joke” that PRO was transfering. PRO’s response was: (this was 2 weeks ago mind you!)
Quote regarding not transferring (sry cutting for form space)
A week later, PRO transfers…..
Hope this shed some light …….
Thank you, I actually did ask about that first night. I appreciate the clarity. Sorry to hear how that went down, but happy you and your friends from EX-PRO were able to retain unity and play together. The others as well, who remained.
To the many mags, folks … keep it up ;-)
T4 withering? not sure I’d agree entirely call it a transitional bracket maybe… but I would agree largely to the next wall t3…
waves at plutonium, but keeps eyes on road. Carebear heart does not want to run over ebay kids aimlessly walking on to the road as I drive that bus through town, caught a couple pics, saw 1 live game, and am able to check it off my bucketlist thinking was pretty serene place…
One does not simply walk into Tier 2…
I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the Kaineng fall, nor our people fail.
