I’ve been killing TC nerds and taking their badges of honor all week. The other day I came across some random TC nerd while solo roaming and he just stood there staring at me without attacking. So I sent a party invite and said, “Sit down TC nerd and give me your badges of honor!” and he did just that. Learn yourself nerd.

Yeah ,… just gonna put it out there. There is no pressure, I pve’d … wtf how do I spell that? anyways… it’s relaxed, enjoyable fun and we pop in and out at whim. The players are being extremely great, for those who are in their nightly I see your calls … big props to the efforts your working on.

I see people trying ‘new’ things random things, and it’s … well really fun.

If they fix skill lag, zerg won’t be as much challenge. All our dps will go up, and bad players will die faster instead of being safeguarded by ‘does not compute fast enough’ systems.

I don’t care about the balance issues, I care about game mechanics. Only thing I hope to see. The rest is wants versus needs (I say as I eye that ele and the delete button)

Anyone can get up there. Jump up the hill, stealth in past legendaries. Done.

Just trash the professions, give us all names like … a001, a002, z967, and so on.

Then give us all pointy stick to do 100-200 dmg base, get rid of heals, get rid of utility get rid of elites … hell get rid of buttons 2-10 …

Been nothing but takeaways, and everytime you do it, just makes the game less enjoyable. I mean conditions duration reduction on wars? Is that a real issue to care about… skills lag (thats an issue), maps tweak out and imblance numbers, thats an issue, zergballing … is the only form of competition in meta, and coverage tells you who sits where on a ladder.

Try to think about the game functions versus tweaking and honing professions. It’s not your job, its anets. They need to know ‘real’ issues. I still have no idea why they are making some of the changes. But can’t comment until I play with it.

The food is used by anyone, I’m sure glad my condition duration reduction will let me play front line in red circles a little more than you softies skirting on the outsides. Because in the current meta, if I cant do that, then I don’t see why I’d waste my time playing melee at all. I’m here to help my team/party and castes/ranged by messing in there backlines where it’s high risk of death. Not floating pew pew run back a bit…

I have no issue with theif stealth or mes confusion, and still unsure why they mess with the class, but its because too many pew pew the forum and Anet does it. Let’s not dumb down all aspects of the game. If any of this gets nerfed, I still won’t care. But i’ll sigh thinking pvf won yet again. Most warriors don’t trait as you ask anyway. It’s a selfish way to think and wvw is a multi-map wide support structure where you will be more often than not with people, supporting teams and fighting in larger scale battles. Not to say solo isn’t an option, but not many warriors like to solo (because our survivability is nil in comparison to other professions who excel at it).

I used to use it … like 5 months ago, then when price went sky high, what the hell is the point.

Seriously, warriors don’t care to trait that much if your traited as a shout heal in soldiers. The end result is …if you overextend too much (which us wars have to sometimes) … your going to be targeted down / snare and have about 6 conditions stacked on ya.

All the while the pew pews sit in the back, so you want to nerf antyhing on a war, then get your butt up front with me and break the enemy lines. Then tell me about balance.

KN still have night crew, although as mag’s noted, it’s more ‘elite’ (my words for specialized, or smaller)

Anyways, it’ll be on par with this tier… we’ll have a more enjoyable and relaxed time. Although gotta say those 3 way SMC battles can get a little intense. You left my up and zerg ran right by me while I was standing at southgate inner (hammer war). Eventually someone was wiser and pinned me for the free pickens, I made it almost out. Kinda stood in inner for a few mins to think what the heck a warrior could do in there (not much). Till I was found.

GJ mags, and yb … was alot of fun even though we lost SMC in that battle, and gj to our commanders in training I had an absolute blast yesterday.

Add armor skins, weapon skins … and that’s really all pvp players care to differentiate. Some siege skins may also sell.

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the many battles we’re getting through out the day. I’m really enjoying it. So far i only get to pop in EB but I’m sure the other BL’s are also having a blast (from the looks of the maps and color flips) continually.

I’m at work today so will be back on later tonight, but having fun with alot various people and guilds. My big ol’ norn hammer sure is thining though from the back and forth running I tell ya. Anyways, having alot of fun with everyone. I think before omnom goes if he still here, we all go lvl 2 ranger zergs in wvw tonight, you know ya wanna ;-)

They wont pick a t1 server… unless a EU server has already been in contact and is paying there move, which would make me sad. I could imagine they would rather pick a server to find opponents to GvG with over there so I’m crossing out piken

Is ‘x’ good for wvw? … eventually if Anet took all these threads, we would be running around bare handed literally trying to claw doors down. And the game would go stale fast. Offense if definately promoted in the game, why else would the timer flip at low points over fast time periods/intervals? If defense meant more, it’d ticket every hour or 3 hours for massive points, and people would just eventually sit, all sitting in keeps. Forever.

At least give us pointy sticks and stuff. It’s not the 80’s anymore … hell give me a captain america shield 1 day. Or a seige turtle, or anything fun. All the fun things always get stripped out over time. I’d rather us play with toys.

^^ Nyx speaks the truth. Perception and history / fear of unknown and things ilke bandwagoners attribute WM did all. They did not, what they did was help enable some of the guilds and train guys as they zerged. It was nice of them. They also brought force, but were not alone.

Not the case, anyne who stepped through portal to help contribute deserves kain’s credit.

While credit for the guilds who came and will go is definitely deserved, labeling the others as t8 guilds something of the past. Because now … all of those guilds are considered t2 quality with almost 3 months experience here.

I’m not going anywhere, in fact … while I get drunk and learn 2 rotisserie this Saturday, I’m planning to actually sit and think a little proactively about the opportunity at hand. Because there is a huge opportunity for those with resilience. Leave the jaded thoughts off the table, thank and be done, move on as the new Kain.

Any in game pm kkc.7316 … I heard the opposite last night. In fact I have heard on multiple accounts now that its not confirmed by multiple members of WM when speaking in passing with other friends/prior WM guildies who may have or may not have been guesting on kain with friends.

Had to pop in to try to knock WM and CO, and RISE and RE all in one line. But then got the warm fuzzies and started telling his stories again.

I don’t blame them, I miss GvG too … AND AM dying to have some form of it back in game. 20v20 is too much though, not strategic map and all. I get its the closest thing we are able to create as users… but god kitten I miss GvG and get why the original guys would be feeling like meh at the current state.

WM you guys always … are fun. I hope some day they do implement GvG again and I see clash with ya. So much fun. It was anyways. Thanks for all the help teching the server guys about map movement and such, and don’t be predictable.

Kain do have havoks still, just less from our organized guilds (at least less than we used to do, although I can’t speak for the 4pm crew of my guild, they likely have a group alongside a zerg)

I think OP is more referencing the multiple 5-10 mans versus the one 40 mans and a havok play style.

Kaineng generally has 0 queues … up to a couple mins for EB (yes queue in LA)

Reset night usually have 10-15 minute queue on EB and 1 BL, and other 2 BL’s no queues.

Mike if you want to look for small 5 man squads of skill, you should check the tPVP ladder, and check which of those skilled guys can recommend a tpvp guild who wvw’s. The reason AR server is highly recommended, is its the go to server since beta, so many have gone there for 5 man squads… grown there … and inevitably left from there. PAXA is an example. They are good, I remember OG … but I think there are many very skilled small group/guilds out there that never get enough recognition. (edit – because they dont give a kitten what the internet says)

Your likely looking for a niche guild, somewhere in the lower tiers who enjoy displaying there skill. Do not claim that you are number #1 when approaching, let your skill speak for itself, don’t be the guy who has to paint a picture and what he could do, just do it.

And take recommendations from the guilds on who else they felt a decent guild. As much as I dislike some of the folks attitudes on forums, I respect there prowess, awareness and skill.

the lower tiers are more suited for not having to deal with ZvZ … but the small guilds also make a huge impact on the higher tiers as well. PPT. Ask yourself and any potential guilds, do you care about any of it ppt server etc, or just the fight. I’m sure you’ll find the home soon enough. Maybe also poke your head into the spvp forum.

Db will continue to win. Yes it will be while yaks and mag sleeps. Yes it will be mostly with pvd. We know they know, its no ones fault. Im sure even their sea team gets bored just pvding.

Yaks and mag will continue to fight for second, with db deciding who wins ultimately by who they attack during that time.

People will contiue to kitten on this forum about server x vs server y.

The only real way to hurt db would be for a double team during mags and yaks na prime. But, neither server makes alliances and hates them (cept yaks, i heard they are aligned with everyone at this point, at the same time), and i do believe both servers are really just looking for good fights, so will butt yeads with anyone and everyone.

And then the whole thieves and eles op, cake > pie, better tactics, , unclassy sportsmanship, fight club, gvg, guild x sucks, server y destroyed server z zerg with less players, yadda yadda yadda….

/warbandleadermutiny – kicks the warband leader aka vote of non confidence in your leadership. If you can kick a warband player for being just bad, they should be able to kick you are just bad (would need more than 1 vote, maybe 51%)

outside of that fun note… I second it. The commander system is just not good. I think since BWE1, we’ve used /squad once to type in the default yellow, and really … since the supply stacking improvement, the squad system is pretty useless atm in its current state.

EDIT: … and the havok squads, they are there … but who knows where without map chatting or voice comm. Would be able to leverage small – medium groups more effectively. So many people today, just ‘stack on me, STACK, STACK NOW, EVERYONE ON MAP’… imho is useless outside of running into another zerg. Which then, in its own, deflates the goal… capping objectives in a timely manner.

I credit TC for 3 things they do… always now.

1. Scout better imho than FA or KN
2. PPT, numbers do make it easier to take out say ‘keeps’ which they retain solidly which contribute overall to their ppt
3. Contest everything, always making it a farther run. Not just the one shot run past now go attack. Always.
