Ouch. Seems pretty atrocious even if I got a bad RNG roll.

Still though, this farm isn’t bad. It’s just not good for getting hardened leather. It almost feels like it’s good for getting everything but hard leather.

Not complaining. But it seems clear why it hasn’t affected hardened leather.

Its bad for everything but T5 leather. Unstable hides from events in Doric (or farming WM clerics) give much more t2-t4 leather than centaur ones. I’m really surprised you didn’t know that. As it was stated when first threads on hardened leather came in, just doing events in Doric gives more t2, t3, t4 and t6 leather than centaur farm. And still it is not enough (at least in the case of t6).

I don’t accept this premise. This has been an assumption since the beginning of the thread, and it is up to people to prove it. Prove a need beyond people being too lazy to look up exotic armor names, ascended crafting, and various niche stats. Here’s one: Guild Halls. you.

My friend wanted to play condi engeneer cause he likes the sole idea and gameplay/rotation. Couldn’t afford it, because viper/sinister gear is crafted only.
My other friend liked WvW a lot. Shame that a lot of viable in WvW stat sets like zealot, marauder, commander, etc are also craftable.
Personally I don’t think that its a luxury to play GW2 in a way you want to play it.

People like me can see that this is not JUST about benefits to traders. In fact, this leather farm is FAR more friendly to new players to obtain leather than anything else that has ever been ingame. How you can’t see how that fits in with exactly what you say you want, I can’t begin to understand. If you want people to start being honest in their discussions, then YOU can start by acknowledging this.

Thread upon thread you are ignoring a simple fact: lake Doric centaur farm gives almost none T6 leather. So, being honest with each other, do you object this fact?

Drop the sentimental downpour. I’m all for improving leather farms. But that’s with a purpose and not carried by guilt tripping people.

Anet should improve recipes or salvage rates, not the farm. In 3 weeks that farm will be locked behind another paywall (when LS ep5 comes in) from new players. There is no reason for leather to be more rare, expensive and obtained by farming in comparison with cloth.

See, unlike you, I speak for myself, instead of speaking on behalf of new players

I also speak for myself. I want reasonable leather aquisition or prices. I speak for my friends that are still playing this game. They want tha same. Should we make a poll or something?

And as one of these old players (btw still need ascended on some toons), my opinion doesn’t matter? I don’t need gold? See that’s the problem. I don’t see why I should have to accomodate for these percieved problems.

And new players can benefit as well.

So, why leather only then? Lets skyrocket the prices on all T6 mats because we (old players) need gold. And new players will have to grind silverwastes for weeks just to level up their crafting or craft gear with the stats they need. Oh, wait, I tryed to be sarcastic but failed. Now a new player HAS to grind silverwastes for weeks to level his craft.

I’m constantly trying to drag my friends into GW2. Its all fine untill they level 80 and start gearing up. But when they open up TP and look at the prices (which are obnoxious because of h.leather) their reaction is “OMFG to hell with this game”. New players don’t know what the hell is Zhed’s armor. They search “berserkers” and see armor 15g a piece. Then they ask me if it is better to try and level crafting and make that armor themselves. And I reply: “no, its even more expencive, but you must level your crafting if you ever want to play fractals with me, cause this 75g armor set (or 20g for Zhed’s, as I tell them) on TP is trash, and you need ascended”. And my friends leave the game, frustrated and fully convinced that its some kind of korean MMO where you have to grind countless hours to get the bare minimum to start playing (or donate real money and convert them to gold).

I might be okay with that whole situation. But when I start playing, there was no leather bottlenecking of craft. I was just playing, having fun and getting all materials I need to level crafting and get my gear. Now, for the new players, it is impossible.

So, sir, I can understand position of yours and Obtena. I do not respect it though. Mostly because I love this game, I want it to prosper, I want its community to prosper, and I want new players (and my friends) not to be scared away and frustrated. For me the health of community outweighs virtual profit of the few. But please, by the Six, don’t talk bulls*** about how current leather situation benefits anyone besides traders. Lets at least be honest.

If tomorrow hardened leather in gossamer patched will be nerfed to 2 squares, none of the traders will drop the game. You will just find some other thing to profit on, like mystic coins. But the new players will have a chance to start playing and enjoying the game as we, old players, did pre-HoT. And they will benefit the whole game thousand times more than your virtual, non-existant in reality profit.

This threads keep popping up not without a reason. T6 leather price is broken and some fixes should be done. The only people who benefit from the situation are old players with fully geared characters, who make a profit on obnoxious leather prices. The thing that makes me a sad panda is how hard some of such traders try to persuade the community that everything is all right and as it should be. Its just absurd. “Disreguard what you see on trading post, disreguard that sells of T6 leather droped on 50% since January, the stocks are filled with leather, leather farm works and everything is great!”

Will we see Tengu playable in gw2's life?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Ider.1276

Ider.1276

This will be a long post so I put the summery in the front:

- The only thing that can prevent adding tengu as playable race is Anet time/human resorses. Lore, territory and mecanical problems are non existant.

- In HoT expansion tengu got a brand new model, skeleton and animation set, indicating that devs had some serious plans reguarding them.

- Adding a new playable race is a content that everyone can enjoy and some people may see as expansion selling point. And it requires almost the same amount of resorses as creation of raids (which are experienced by minor fraction of players).

Up there was a summery, let me expand it.

First of all, tengu can be added any time as a playable race without any problems with lore, territory or personal story. The Dominion of the Winds grants enough space for a race capital city and a starting location (as it was intended when there was a six playable race concept). We know that some individual tengu leave the Dominion to explore the world, trade or exterminate threats to there nation. Some of these tengu even end up in Pact forces during Zhaitan and Mordemoth campains (Izu Steelshrike, for example). Nothing restricts player character tengu in his personal story to leave homeland, join one of three orders and eventually become a Pact Commander.

Second point: either Anet has some serious plans for tengu, or they have the poorest managment ever. I’m talking about new HoT tengu models. Pre-HoT tengu use a mesh on top of charr skeleton and animation set. HoT Quetzal tengu have a unique mesh and animation set. It is an expensive thing to do, espessially if new tengu are barely used in HoT unlike new hylek.
For example: S3 Ep3 arctic quaggans got only a reskin (they use a normal baby quaggan model painted in black and white) and kodan, which are the focal point of episode, were not changed a bit. So either Anet has some big plans for tengu, or they are throwing there resorses into the dump.
New tengu were not used since original HoT once. Current plot comes nowhere near tengu. There are none in Ring of Fire (Primordus plot thread), Far Shiverpeaks (Jormag thread) or Kryta (White Mantle thread). Next expansion probably will be based around three these locations (or Crystal Desert/Elona), with no space to use new HoT tengu assets. So, either new HoT tengu were to be playable in next expansion, or Anet wasted a ton of money and time on them just for someones whim (and their managment is even worse then Konami).
Another deduction that I can make from this situation: if tengu won’t be added as playable in next expansion, they will never be playable. The final nail into coffin will be endless tengu tonic, as it was with kodan.

And one more thing. A lot of people write that a new playable race is not a content and will not benefit the game. Well, you are wrong. Playable races make the game. When you think of Warcraft you think of elves, orcs, trolls, drainei, tauren. When you think of Guild Wars you think of charr, asura, sylvari. The world itself is build from playable races. They are the eyes, through which the player observes the world.
And they are the apex of customisation. And Guild Wars is even often called Fashion Wars because of how much your character look matters. And I’m pretty sure that the part of players who would like their character to look like a samurai bird man is on par with demografic who wants to play as asura, charr or sylvari. These people want to play as something unique to GW and you can’t blame them for that. WoW added playable races 3 times in its history, and every time people enjoyed it and used these new races. Even the “hated” pandaren are now used by many, many players.

The last thing: new race is a content for everyone to enjoy. Lets be honest, if tengu were implemented as playable most of us would create a tengu character to experience there personal story and starting location(s). Unlike the raids, which require great amount of resorses, but experienced by a small fraction of players.
Playable race is a great content. Player sees his character most of the time, hears his voice most of the time. Customises his look, his gear. Cosmetic stuff from gemstore (which is Anets bread and butter) serves one purpose: to make a unique character even more unique.
If you think about that, GW2 could have (as GW1 did) one playable race – humans. And the content loss of such decision would be unimaginable. So, why not playable samurai-birds, then?

Why didn't you buy HoT?

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Ider.1276

Now, however, all the quarterly reports show that the game isn’t selling anymore and I’m asking why that is. They’ve started LS3, which means a good stream of new content, yet HoT still isn’t selling.

It is simple. Everyone who wanted HoT already bought it. People who don’t want it still don’t want it. Its not like people have to buy HoT every month to play or need to own more than 1 copy. And the new player income is low due to low amount of advertising (which mostly happens before new expansions).

Thanks again

The only content that requires pay to access is living world seasons 2 and 3. They were free for everyone on release but everyone who is late would have to buy them. Considering that living world season 2 is a story link between your personal story and Heart of Thorns story, you may want to have that. But it is just a story content (mainly) without any real bonuses to your character power.

And, with the new farm, we can farm all the leather we need, too (if we want; me, I prefer to do anything else and buy it).

Good luck farming hardened leather there. That farm did nothing, players still have no fair sorce of T6 leather. Its salvage rates from centaur bloodstone hides are obnosiousely low. Thats the main reason why the price is up to pre-farm state: bad salvage rates (worse than from 80 lvl leather armor and unstable hides).
Players can farm as long as they want, and overall supply will not increase, because the same supply of h.leather can be achieved by spending same amount of time on meta in Silverwastes or running through frozen chests in bitterfrost. And you also gain other valuable stuff there like ecto.

What Happened to Hardened Leather?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Ider.1276

The price going up is people reacting to the farm not being the top gold maker (which some people unreasonably expected).

You should start watching the situation from global perspective. T5 leather price went up when fractal/pvp/raid vendors were reworked, not because players are not farming hard enough (lol). Leathercrafting tokens for these vendors require more T5 leather than normal acsended crafting method in exchange of less T2-T4 leather. With another T5 sink demand went up and so the price.
Before that vendor patch T5 leather price already stabilised after centaur farm implementation, and it was, indeed, lower than before LS3 Ep4 (because all you got from that farm was T5 leather, ha). The thing is, noone ever complained about T5 price. The problem since HoT release was obnoxious T6 price.

“Word” spreads that the farm is “too hard” and “isn’t worth it” so prices slowly recover back to where they were after a few weeks. Speculators win!

It is not a “word”, it is a fact. There were numerous threads here and on reddit where people compaired drop rates of hardened leather from bloodstone hides (from centaur farm) and unstable hides (from events in LS3 maps). And – surprise – salvaging bloodstone hides produced mostly trash t5 leather.
Centaur farm is really not worth the time. You can go to bloodstone fen and farm WM clerics there and have more hardened leather (and every other leather tier exapt T5). And even there a player have to grind for several hours to gather leather for a single insignia. That is chinees MMO level of bonkers.

Wyvern bosses are the first bosses a new player meets in HoT. Matriarch requeres no masteries to kill, Patriarch requeres only updrafts. They were never ment to be hard, they were ment to be the first and easiest bosses of expantion.
If you want a challange, go for other VB bosses. Or other heart of Maguuma location bosses. Difficalty level is fine now, the challange increases gradually when you venture deeper into jungle. Vinetooth should be harder than wyverns as it is encountered by players much later in the game.

Stunlock Needs to Go

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Ider.1276

Ider.1276

TL, DR – i get it, i really get it – being stunned to death is awful, but from my experience it’s not that common thing as some people says. When it happens in pvp it’s mainly when you’re catched out of CDs and in pve you usually have group support or you can easily change skills/traits to make it less of a problem anyways, so yeah. It’s part of gw2 combat system and mechanics, which makes gw2 unique out of all other mmos.

Yeah, stunlocks are not that common, yet. But what we see since HoT release is escalation on CC-obsession.

LW S2 had fair enemies with well telegraphed but hard hitting CC’s (teragriffs, beetles, twisters).
Core HoT enemies were also good designed and fair, but some CC spam started to crawl into the game in the form of rolling devils.
And then LS3 CC-fest treadmill started. It escalated to the point of extream irratation in Bitterfrost, were engaging a fight could put a neverending chill on you. And hit a nonsence tire in Doric, were mobs just play ping-pong with players.

Anet obviousely wants to push more challanging content to us with every new episode. An good idea, but not achievable by CC-obsession. Maybe the original idea was for players to share cleanses in Bitterfrost and stability in Doric. But in reality the players just run past the mobs in Bitterfrost (ignoring the unlucky players who were cought by icebrood) and autoattacking thing from max distance in Doric.
Current system does not encourage players to play skillfully, because the high effort – low reward – tremendeouse mistake cost. And thats a really wrong way.

On the point of uniqueness of GW2 pvp CC system – a broken fork is also unique compared to majority of forks. But it doesn’t make it good in any way.

So, conclusion: we need a full rework of CC-stability system in new expansion. But untill then stop this CC spam, please. Its not fun. Its not challanging. It encourages players to play safe, but boring way. It is not fair for the professions without good access to stability and stunbreaks.

Agreed, the way I view crowd control in pve, it’s less punishing than straight up one-shot kill attacks but more punishing than most other pve content where you can stand in the middle of the brain-dead-zerg and auto 1. If you get chain cced to downdstate/death consider it a boss one-shot kill attack which you took and feel lucky if you brought stun breaks or waypoint if not.

Exapt boss one-shot attacks are well telegraphed and rarely used. And Doric chain-CC is badly telegraphed (with less that half a second to react in the case of bloodstone elementals) and used constantly. Would you like it if Siax tha Unclean (2nd boss in Nightmare fractal) was spamming his wipe-all toxic nova all the time and his cast was 1 second? Guess not.

[SUGGESTION] Introducing New Playable Races

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Ider.1276

Ider.1276

One thing that bothers me: look at core Tiria tengu and then look at HoT Quetzal tengu .
Core Tiria ones use charr skeleton and animations. Quetzal tengu use new skeleton and animations.
Why bother and make a unique skeleton, animations and model for an enemy that is barely used in expansion? They just sit in hard to get corners of AB, not tied to meta or personal story (like new hylek). So, maybe (I hope) Anet was not wasting resorses that way? Maybe new tengu were made for a future expansion? They gave us revenant in HoT, I don’t expact a new profession. But a new playable race can fill that gap.
WoW brings new class or race every expansion (exept Warlords of Draenor, which just blew in all the ways). People like something like that to be added into game.

Stunlock Needs to Go

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Ider.1276

Ider.1276

Stunlock needs a rework but doesn’t need to go. All forms of interrupts would be completely gone, or atleast you should argue that they need to be gone as well. There is a level of skill involved when it comes to pvp- the way some skills are set up for certain classes is the stuns charge way too quickly. Take stuns away entirely & it’s like you’re just playing a crash course game. Zerk will take over.

Stunlock is bad for pvp either (don’t misguide it with normal stuns/interrupts). There is a reason why even in WoW’s pvp they did deminishing on CC abilities. The reason why they did it was that some classes could stun/disorient opponent like forever (hello, rogues from vanilla/burning crusade and warlocks with their fear). PvP against such classes was impossible, and in a duel of such stunlockers the winner was the first one to stun the opponent. What a great challange, heh?

Stunlock Needs to Go

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Ider.1276

Ider.1276

People need to learn to just run and skip. That way they would understand the real value of the speed increase skills and traits, the mobility technics, and enjoy a new perspective of the game. And they wouldn’t get stuck at the feet of those nasty CC mobs.

I know it sounds like sarcasm, but I’m serious: evading mobs require skill too, and it can be really rewarding.

You are wrong. Just 1 example. First day of Head of the Snake, lake Doric. I’m playing with my friend, we are fighting champion bloodstone elemental (the guy that farts dozens of small elementals all the time, which explode and launch everythimg they hit). My friend (engineer) just stands on max range and shoots with rifle auto, I’m (ranger) dancing in champ’s melee, evading explosions and using my full PvE rotation. Then, after like 40 seconds of the fight, I make a single mistake and explosion launches me into air. Before I retain character controll another explosion launches me again. And again. And again. And I’m dead. And my friend is alive, on max range still pressing rifle 1. At that moment I realized that Anets CC fetish is so very wrong.

Lets make it clear, in video games death is the greatest penalty for doing something wrong. That is why one-shot attack usually are well telegraphed and have a long cast time. The player’s mistake must be a grave one (like ignoring 5-second oneshot cast of nightmare fractal bosses) to be punished by something as hard as death. What we have in lake Doric is a CC spam. Fast attacks, badly telegraphed, non-letal independently, but leading to stunlock and unaviodable death because of their spammy nature. And this is unexaptable with the current state of combat system. The player must not be punished with greatest penalty (death) by minor mistakes. Most of the professions do not have easy access to stability and stun breaks. Even more, stability and stun breaks do not protect the player from CC spam – they are good against a single powerfull CC, not a steady stream of CC (like we have now inh Doric).

TL;DR: Current CC-spam does not encourage player to play skillfully, because the penalty for slitest mistake is death, and shooting from max range with autoattack is a better and safer way. If Anet wants to continue its CC-spanking-fetish, give us a champion-like breakbar.

Why not make them worth 10g in the vendor?

I have a crazy amount of duplicate rings in my bank vault since that is what primarily drops for ascended gear. Salvaging isn’t really a good option, we cannot change their stats and vendoring them for 5s seems silly. Why not allow us to get some value out of them since they are incredibly rare drops?

Good job, OP. Anet will read your thread title and vendors will be selling ascended rings not for 10 pristeen fractal relics, but for 10g each (and fractal relics). Seriously, the way how you write it is very frustrating.

This.

We need to be able to change stats on ALL ascended gear, not just weapons and armor and the Bloodstone trinkets.

It will never happen, because legendary armor (and I can guarantee legendary ring/etc will appear somewhere in the future).

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Making HoT F2P will lead to even more meta events failed. Lets face it, a lot of players in open world are just running and pressing 1. I will always remember one of my fights with wyvern matriarch boss in VB. At the begining of the fight there were only me and one random necromancer. Wyvern tried to fly up, we CCed it and burned 50% of its health. Then glorified zerg comes in. And guess what? Every CC phase failed, and the fight lasted for 7 minutes more.
So I personally would prefer a small group of people who know how to damage, dodge, CC and understand actual boss mechanics over a full map of pressing “1” zergs.
And HoT meta difficulty is ok, by the way.

And the only thing that seems to be coming easy is bloodstone dust. Is there any zone or instance that’s especially good for farming ascended materials?

Do you need emperial fragments/dragonite ore? In that case Ember Bay and Bitterfrost frintier is what you need. Harvesting petrified wood/winterberries will give you some of these materials.
Lake Doric and Bloodstone fen are good for farming bloodstone dust, or you can just run some meta maps (AB, Silverwastes) and open the bags from there.

Yea, I think that 0.5 second ICD is a bit too long for the move. Maybe reducing it to 0.33 seconds would have been better.

Meteor shower casts a meteor every 0.375 seconds (9 sec effect, 24 meteors). So, either ICD is less than 0.375, and every meteor can hit (making ICD pointless), or it is above 0.375 and 50% (or more) of meteors are lost. Thats why i wrote above that this ICD bullkitten is totally bad idea to try and balance this skill. And yeah, i wrote “bullkitten”, cause this idea is as bad, as creating a chimera out of bull and a kitten.

We can look forward to the new “silk farm” they’ll be adding in a future fractal.

New fractal: “Bathroom of Annihilation”, a challenging group content against endless hoards of evil living laundry, implemented to solve the fabric prices problem. Brought to you by developers of loved and honed centaur leather farm.

I’m not saying the new system is good. But the old system was far worse.

New system is pointless. Old system was good for people who disliked crafting and prefered to pay extra gold over doing things they didn’t like. I have a friend like that, he just hates crafting but has a bunch of gold. New system is good for noone, cause after maxing your crafting profession up to 500 you get to choose: craft ascended the normal way or craft it in a more expencive, more timegated and more relied on special currency way. A hard way without any benefits.

Is the new recipe bad? Probably, but it’s a vast improvement over how it was before the patch

Please, look up at the post where I wrote about that fractal vendor should be an alternative. The old vendor system was an alternative to crafting (at the cost of gold price). The new one is alternative to nothing. It is completely useless. You need maxed crafting anyway to buy things from vendor, you need mats anyway. With that crafting and that mats it is much easier and cheaper just to craft what you want.

I wonder, will the GS buffs make power GS/LB viable PvE meta? Never liked sword/axe actually.

And unfortunately the amount of silk needed was put so high because of how cheap it is currently, but if a future patch changes that and silk goes back up, this recipe will never be adjusted if recent trends continue.

Mithril ingot costs less than a silk scrap. Whatever the logic was to rise the silk recipe requerments it was not based on price.

Pretty cheap to buy them. Ive at least one character of each profession at level 80, outfitted in exotics, without crafting a single piece.

Good luck with buying those viper/commander exotics.

Hmm, no. Crafting exotics is not a must to start playing and having fun.

Depends on what your defenition of fun is. If it is core Tiria events/map completion that yes, you can do it in greens. If you find fun in dungeons, fractals, raids and HoT maps then exotic is a minimum to have.

The direction of the game seemed to be going good for a while. But now it seems almost as if ArenaNet has become resentful, or even spiteful, of the community.

Not all of them. Story department actually listens to players, and recent events with Trahearn memorial prove it. Some of profession balancing team listen – rangers got improvements to pets, which they were asking for 4 years. It looks like that it is just team/person that is behind game economics is incompetent.

Maybe some of them will stumble across this post, so I will write this.
This was your mistake with new ascended vendor system: it should be an alternative to crafting. There are 3 ways (as I see) of being alternative to it:

1) alternative in crafting. Simple: crafting require crafting, vendors do not. This way appeals to those who find crafting system complex or just don’t like it. The prices of vendor asc. can be anchored to ascended materials (or your precious vendor tokens, if they were tradable).

2) alternative in price. Vendor ascended cost A LOT of specialized currency, but less materials and gold, than the crafted one. This appeals to people, who play fractals/raids/pvp a lot.

3) alternative in timegating. A really weak one, cause you can by ascended materials from TP and avoid timegating that way. But it could still be viable if combined with other alternatives.

The thing is, current ascended vendors fail in every and all of these ways, thus making crafting, well, un-alternative. Just crafting that ascended is better from any perspective.

Anet’s story department did a great job with this little patch. They actually listened to what players wanted and included it in the game, starting from Trahearn memorial, and now the Pale tree awaykening.
Really a great job, I thank you sincerely. Thank you and, please, keep it up that way!

The only thing missing from this is a thread titled “We’ve heard your feedback” and the only thing the post has is a selfie of a dev sitting in the office with his middle finger extended.

Naah, they will just ignore it as that leather farm thread.

When were hardened leather squares made into a necessity to start playing and having fun?

Since HoT release when they became a must to craft all exotic armor gear, which is a must to start playing and having fun in PvE.

I will tell you a secret: even before this crafting token thing you could max a profession with just a portion of gold that was needed to by a single fractal armor/weapon box. Fractal ascended gear was for people who just disliked crafting and it punished them with higher prices.
So, if you are not a player who just dislikes crafting, you lost nothing. Go on, level up your professions to 500, and craft all you need. If you have trouble on 450-500 part, just buy some magi/shamans/whatever other cheap insignias and explore items with it. Then sell the items on TP, their cost will compensate buying insignias.

just got done trying to scale the breached wall vista in Diessa Platteau.

You should try Chalis of Tears in Ember Bay. Every JP in the game will be a summer vacation to you after that.

Soo, now it is obvious that buying stuff with fractal pages is useless. It costs more than crafting, but it requeres crafting and uses more mats. I don’t really care, I was not buying acsended fractal stuff even before that change.
But what I care about is a bunch of fractal pages in my bank. Can we get a sink for them? So I could convert them in something usefull, like fractal relics, potions or gold.

Well, my main is a ranger, so the patch was ok I guess. All pets get a buff and can hit thing now, thats great and thanks for that. Sharpened edges was nerfed without a reason and condi builds lost 2k dps. Sorry, can’t thank you for that. DPS/support condi druid was pounded into the ground even more with GotL nerf, but I even don’t care anymore. Clearly Anet want to see druids as a dedicated healer only spec and non-druid ranger as a direct damage. No mixing/hybrids allowed.

Considering other professions I played.

Didn’t see anything inspiring in Necro logs, looks like nothing really changed.

Mesmer – if the changies can lead to non shatterspam build, it will be great.

Revenant – great idea with alaracity. Can you give Revenant druid’s Grace of the Land and glyph of empowerment as well? I’m not sarcastic, no. Just want the druid (tortured so hard every balance patch) put out of the misery and out of meta. And Anet obviously sees Revenant as a support profession. So, maybe, kill 2 targets with 1 bullet?

Elem – I think this nerf is undeserved. And I’m not an elementalist, by the way. The first thing, these guys deserve there DPS. Ele’s concept was always a glass cannon. They must have a high damage to compensate their fragility. The second thing, I can understand meteor shower being overpowered against bosses with huge hitboxes. But the way it was fixed is just illogical. That ICD thing you did was to nerf single target damage on large hitboxed. But the ability is not single target. It is a 3 target cleave with a lot of RNG on normal-sized hitboxes. So, please, can you scrap that ICD concept? If you want to balance it just make meteor shower a standart AoE. Like an area in which every enemy takes some fixed damage every second. Don’t take me wrong, the idea of ability that randomly sprays fireballs on large terrain is fun – you can “win” if you are lucky or if your target is big. But you destroyed that concept. With that ICD it works (at best scenario) as a normal AoE with ticks of damage. And on the worst it will make almost to none damage, missing the targets or hitting them second time during that ICD frame.

Warrior… Seriously? That thing has almost as much damage as ele, almost unkillable in PvE/WvW (don’t know about PvP cause don’t play it). And not even evades a nerf, but gets buffed. The only thing I can think of is that someone very high in Anet plays warrior as a main.
