This is not a bug, but working as intended. When accepting another player’s Story instance progress, in order to allow you to continue to play with a friend, the game will move you to their Story arc.

You can move back at the end of the Story level arc by avoiding accepting another player’s progress.

Actually, the Devs expressly stated they could not use the World Boss model to make others as they had different rigs.

They have also said they use proprietary software they have created themselves for their particular engine, which nobody else uses.

Do remember, Outfits are a 4th armor weight, and can not be mixed/matched with the other 3 armor weights.

You can use Google, Wayback Machine, and/or other sources to find these interviews/videos/statements.

Did the Devs ever say, one way or the other, about wanting to include, or not include, mounts?

The only thing I’ve ever seen was the statement that mounts would not be included at launch. (See pre-launch FAQ.) Nothing since.

Creating multiple tickets slows down the process and sends you to the back of the queue. You should close all but the original ticket.

Try only clicking once, rather than double-click (whilst awaiting a fix)? I’ve never encountered this ‘bug’, but I’ve never double-clicked to maximize GW2 from the minimized state, either. (I use alt-tab all the time and for every loading screen.)

Of course, there is that one about too much loot; bit of an oddity there.

So…is this one lamenting the lack of loot, or too much loot. All I can ascertain is that the OP is not creating his own groups, and doesn’t fit the requirements of the groups he/she joins.

Perhaps, then, that should be their lament, rather than saying there was much choice with armor at launch, and now, even though no (or nearly no) armor has been removed, there is less choice.

I mean, there is still 2000-3000 pieces of gear. In fact, there are more than there were at launch.

There are no ‘servers’ anymore in PvE. All servers share the same map(s). It doesn’t matter that your (WvW) server is Blacktide.

Telia, more often than not, is the issue when players check why they are having high ping/disconnections/etc. It is infamous for having issues.

Don’t we still have the armors we had a launch? If choice was rich then, and the armors are still available, why is choice now not rich?

Since they are obtained through Masteries, it probably would set them back.

Again, only time will tell. I truly doubt they would change things this late.

Just because there were pictures of finished, or nearly finished map terrains, and new Mastery UIs, does not mean everything about the expansion was finished.

I doubt they would scrap a year-plus worth of work to start over with only months left until launch.

I suppose anything is possible, however unlikely.

It happens more often than one would surmise.

Well, Mike O’Brien asking people to not spread the leaks and spoil it for others seemed to give some ‘official’ merit to the leaks. /shrug

As stated above, try contacting them through a different email provider, as it seems your present one is blocking the mail. The CS Team always sends an almost-immediate automated response each time with an initial contact.

Security-wise, it is best to use an email that is only used for the game, anyway.

Sounds like your email provider is blocking the emails for some reason. Have you tried contacting the CS Team via a different provider? And, of course, checked junk/spam mail? There are also some Stickies above regarding the issue, but if you are not getting the automated responses, it sounds like blocking, for some reason. It is easy and free to create an email address using any number of providers. Only the CS Team can assist you with a refund.

Unlikely that different voices would be offered for characters, as there is a ton of voice-acting in the game, and V.O. does not come cheap.

It has been suggested, before, to tweak the voices, with mixed reviews.

You can just ignore the video from most of Wooden Potatoes offerings, as the video has little to do with the audio. That’s how to check him out.

I think those expecting standard-MMO mounts with increased speed that will travel anywhere (other than Expansion 2 maps) will be disappointed.

I think the new specific mounts will offer specific features, rather than mounts-do-everything-offered.

I think some areas of the new maps will be gated required special abilities of certain mounts.

And, last but not least, I think there will be lots of lamentations (especially because it won’t be what some are expecting) about the new mechanic, Mounts.

Have you tried a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s)? Instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.

Yes I really hate that A-Net is forcing me to do achievements that I care nothing about and don’t really want to do. Not including enough Mastery points on the HoT maps themselves to finish all the masteries is a bad decision on their part. In order to get the last 12 mastery points I need to finish the last mastery I have to do achievements, and I do not like doing achievements. Why should I be forced to do a part of the game I don’t want to do to get my legendary short bow? A-Net please I know you can find challenging ways to add more mastery spots on the maps themselves so those of us who don’t like do the achievements don’t have to. It is like telling every play you must do raids or you must play wvw or pvp. Let us play our way.

I believe there are an excess of Mastery Points to attain; more than enough to finish all Mastery Tracks, with several left over.

I’m not sure he/she was referring to MF crafting.

There’s lots of regular crafting to do using gathered/salvaged materials that can turn a pretty copper.

To be honest, I’m not a very good player, as builds and such are beyond my ken, and don’t interest me. Thus, I guess I’m as ‘casual’ as they come. I’ve done every Story and completed almost every map solo. Of course, some of it takes me longer, and really messes up my forum-browsing (difficult to avoid spoilers).

I very rarely use LFG for anything, but the once or twice I have for an instance, there was no issue, and all I said, pretty much, was “Hi”.

Maybe things aren’t as dire, and even not-so-good players can manage more than one thinks.
