They already have your password. One of the warnings given about using that command line argument is that it makes your password and email visible.

I certainly didn’t think Masterwork, and especially Rare items were ‘trash’ for my first year or so. I still don’t consider Rare items ‘trash’. Always happy to acquire them.

I don’t think the above proposal would be very good for the game, or the players.

Doesn’t one need 450 – 500 for all Ascended Crafting? I’m not sure.

Screenshot is very helpful. Though, one would think the animation would not play, or a warning or ‘error’ would appear.

Perhaps, you crafted the one you have with another character?

Yes. Almost every item cycles through the Gem Store. There’s a Sticky above, and I’m sure someone will post the link to the app that will alert you when a desired item appears in the Gem Store.

I fondly remember the ambient snakes. Not sure I want a mini-pet, but would enjoy the ambients back.

You can’t craft specific dyes, anyway. You can only craft an RNG chance at a dye. I imagine very few ‘crafted’ every dye, not to mention one can not craft Gem Store dyes.

No, there was next to nothing in the forums about it. And, that’s not why they ‘fixed’ it, as it was never broken. It was changed (Skill Points to Hero Points) to accommodate the upcoming Masteries.

Left and right shift are now distinct keys when used alone. This matches the already existing behavior of control and alt/option. This should not change functionality when used in combinations.

So, just run the favored 8 paths. Anyone that ran all paths for the 43 Gold before the nerf would run all the paths after the nerf, no? Wasn’t the ‘nerf’ to discourage just running the one (or two) easy speed-run paths, and to encourage players to run the other paths therefore spreading out dungeon-runners to possibly include newer (to dungeons) players?

Yes build templates were added to GW1 somewhere around Nightfall hero system.

GW1 release April 26, 2005. Templates were introduced on October 25, 2006. GW2 is now going to be ending its 4th and starting its 5th year running…kinda makes you wonder. Not to exclude you…just to get it out there.

Locked behind gem store purchase (for “minority” playerbase who wants QoL and switch builds even more):
10 additional gear slots – 800 gems
16 additional gear slots – 1200 gems

No just no no no. Don’t even bring up paying for slots. As GW1 it should be saved on your PC. In return keeps GW2 servers free of the extra clutter. They are already bad enough sometimes. Don’t need to add more lol.

Of course, that was PvP-only, and Equipment-only. It was some time before Build Templates were added to the PvE side of the game (another year or so).

There was for Draconis Mons at the release of that map (and future maps). Otherwise, nothing has been mentioned (except for the new 64-bit MacOS client, of course).

I don’t understand why no one, um…lamented the fact that we all went months with XP giving no reward whatsoever before HoT launched. Why is it so different now, when a measly Spirit Shard is at stake?

(I don’t believe using 1/2 [or less] to 1 Spirit Shard and an entire stack of mats for mat promotion uses any noticeable amount of Spirit Shards, either.)

I can’t agree that using contractions is ‘kiddy’ or childish. Even the OP uses contractions; it’s how modern English has evolved.

What some may find juvenile, may be just a misunderstanding of ArenaNet humor.

Likely, the use of language is the least of the Stories’ problems.

It is only active in the zone (map) it is acquired in (The Silverwastes or Ember Bay) and only affects items affected by Magic Find.

We used to have (and I still have several) miniatures in Material Storage. Thus, if those slots can never be (truly) removed, how about one for Queen Jennah and maybe Risen Priest of Balthazar (I don’t think many use the recipe for Obsidian Shards with the value of Mystic Coins)?

How about asking whomever would be in charge of item IDs to stack (or move to storage) the L20 (at least) scrolls?

You can do a ‘search’ on your computer for them. They are usually add-ons to the browser, and such. They are often piggy-backed in on Bing, which is often, again, snuck in with Windows. I don’t believe we will be getting a Wintersday-like festival mid-year. I do believe we will have a ‘seasonal’ change coming with the final Season Three Episode.

Rather than bringing back any old festivals, I’d prefer something new created based on some of the feedback from existing festivals.

It doesn’t always take party members into consideration. Many times my party partner and I have ended up on different instances of a map. And we belong to the same Guild, have the same Home Server, same language, etc. One just never can be sure with MegaServer.

You may have completed those maps, previously, before they had content added. Completing again does not garner any new rewards.

You are having issues with Telia, which is common. Best you can do is contact your ISP and ask them to contact Telia.

Or use a VPN and hope it uses a different Level 1 backbone provider.
