I had this not long ago, but turns out it was an app another program (printer drivers, etc.) installed when I downloaded the drivers. I had to search the internet to find out how to disable it. (It was a printscreen/capture app.)

No, there is no way to ‘share accounts’, that would be against the ToS. No way to link accounts, either, except linking a Guild Wars account to a Guild Wars 2 account expressly for the HoM rewards.

I think there are a ton of players with multiple accounts, just as there were in Guild Wars. Does no one remember the $10 sale for Core Guild Wars 2 and the plethora of posts by players taking advantage of said sale? Or that poster with the 30 accounts? Hmm, I’ve not seen his posts recently.

Yea, pretty useles, huh? All of this group-only content since HoT was released is going to mostly be dead once the next expansion hits (if it wasn’t already).

Yes but we dident know that living world season 3 would be free even for ftp accoutn if they logged in while it was active untill after hot had launched.

We just have to pray they keep that policy.

But, they knew that before Season 3 launched. If players weren’t interested in purchasing HoT at launch, Season 3 beginning wasn’t going to change their minds. Again, those that waited for the discount got the best deal, as there were/are no drawbacks, as far as more expenditures go.

I think the ‘Action Camera’ option allows that. But, I don’t like using ‘Action Camera’ for everything, and there is no possible way I could use the keyboard for movement, so it’s no problem to use the 1 key for a skill. ‘Action Camera’ may be great for you, as you are just learning to play the game, though.

Were Rangers heavy support Professions before Elite Specializations? Were Mesmers? I don’t know, but if they changed their roles because of Elite Specializations, you can’t ignore Guardians changing theirs.

That’s what I meant. Pretty much, the only thing it did, when active, was change the icon. Thus, if one wanted to experience that ‘content’, one could keep track manually, and determine which icon would show.

It was removed when they released and updated to the new Hero Panel window. I’m sure there are pictures of the old Hero Panel window in the Wiki, and elsewhere.

I don’t, personally, remember it having any effect on my play experience (other than said icon). /shrug

That’s not how they advertised it, at least not as it came out. And, group farms don’t make any sense. Farming, by its very nature, is a solo activity.

I do believe that is exactly how it was ‘advertised’.

If the Devs found that there would be economic disturbances from being able to swap Runes and Sigils, perhaps they feel the same way about inexpensive access to an item that functions much the same. /shrug

Fancy pants the problem is not difficulty in finding content. Its just that I don’t like to repeat things I have already done. So if you do everything once and once only I am not finding enough content going through maps in order. I finally went to another same level area and started doing the content there to get enough XP.

If this is your first MMO, you may run into issue with not repeating things. I don’t know if there is more than, maybe, a year’s worth of things to do without repeating any.

Aren’t most of the choices still there? The only thing missing is the little icon on the Hero Panel. I imagine one could keep track of one’s choices and determine which icon would be showing, were said icons still there.

Do you have any HoM rewards, or titles? Can you log into both accounts with the same Account Name and password?

I’ve not gone in-game, but are you sure that’s 200 Gems for Outlaw Appearance Pack…or is it 2,000 Gems?

I think there is already quite some pushback on certain gear only being available in select content. I’m not sure that idea would be popular.

I think one of the main draws of the game is that, for the most part, gear/stats are universally available, and cosmetic items are what is placed behind content/Gem Store/etc.

If you were very familiar with the Wiki, you would find that most, if not all, ArenaNet contributions are on the ‘Talk’ pages or similar, and rarely, if ever, actual page edits. The Devs have their own studio Wiki that probably uses up any ‘Wiki-editing’ resources they might have to spare. =)

Again, you could post your findings in the Wiki’s Talk page, and if deemed suitable, one of the more prominent editors will add it to the page.

There are several other L1-15 maps to explore as well as other ‘next-level’ maps. If you open your World Map (press ‘M’), you will see some Waypoints unlocked in different maps (1 for each starter map next to a race’s Capital City). You can visit those maps for more XP.

Or, if you prefer, you can do Dynamic Events in those 2 maps to raise your XP level, as well as Jumping Puzzles, Mini-Dungeons, etc., etc.

WvW legendary armor when? You finally gave us our own back, and we appreciate no longer being ignored. But exclusive legendary armor would be nice. you could make the T3 mistforged armor the precursor for it.

Probably never, since the Devs outright stated there would be no other Legendary Armor.

Well, the OP wasn’t clear about what issue the Ancestral Armor had. I’m not sure there is an issue with having all 3 armor weights for Glint’s Gaze, so…

It’s kind of frustrating to see that med and light wvw armor looks better than medium and light Legendary armors.

I sincerely hope the devs revisit leg armors and make improvements with player feedback.

The thing is that not all skins will appeal to all players. While you may prefer the WvW ones, others may not. Feedback, while useful, likely wouldn’t matter as much in this case when it’s based simply on players’ differing preferences.

The devs could easily create concept drawings for us to discuss and vote on… not hard to get the playerbase involved in legendary gear and weapons matters.

Like… “Hey awesome players! Dev team here with some basic concept ideas and drawings for our legendary ________! What do you all think? Which one do you like best? What changes or ideas do you have for these?”

Right?

Let’s say said Dev Team offered 3 choices. 1 choice got 48% of the vote, 1 choice got 47% of the vote, and 1 choice got 5% of the vote. What should be said to the 52% of the players that don’t get their favored armor?

No matter how the armor is decided upon, some will be pleased, some won’t really care, and some will be displeased.

+1 to leveling up your first character the old fashioned way.

If you use your 80 boost now, you’ll get overwhelmed with a ton of features and UI elements that become slowly relevant if you level up the normal way.

Not to mention, you get a reward chest for every level up, which you can only open one at a time and contains stuff relevant to that level. If you use it now, you’ll have to go through the process 80 times and your inventory space will clog up fast.

One would not receive level-up rewards when using a L80 Boost. One receives a different reward package.

OP: I would suggest leveling up naturally one or two characters. Also, the Wiki can provide information on all things Guild Wars 2. It is accessed via the link above, or, in-game, by typing ‘/Wiki (topic of choice)’.

You can find some (perhaps, outdated) tips in the Sticky in the Players Helping Players sub-forum, as well.
