If you are using any 3rd Party apps, try disabling those. Also, try turning off any graphics program extras.
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
Not at this time.
Good luck.
Surprised the Super Adventure Box maps aren’t in one thread or the other. 0.o
For looks, I find the new map, Draconis Mons, really nice with the update to the way the graphics are displayed. Might be because I have an older computer. I hope they use these new graphics on all forthcoming maps.
Maybe the point should be…don’t skip over content to get a ‘shiny’. Masteries were offered, for one reason, because many of us had been L80 for a long, long time and wanted some way to progress our characters. I don’t think they were implemented with brand-new players in mind. That’s one of the reasons I always suggest leveling up one or two characters naturally before trying expansion+ content.
If one strives for gliding as soon as reaching L80 for the first time, one misses out on Map Completion the old-fashioned way. Now, that might not be something fantastic, but it can make one appreciate gliding all the more.
There’s no real rush with this game. Do remember, most players had time to collect at least some Ascended gear before stepping into Heart of Thorns, and lots and lots of experience with their Professions.
You can whisper anyone in the same Region, NA or EU. Regions in PvE all share the same maps. (Servers are really only for WvW.)
Welcome to Tyria. Take your time, and good luck.
Lots of players play in the new maps for that map’s currency to exchange for Ascended gear.
Right now, I’m guessing lots of players are in WvW due to the new rewards and changes.
Welcome return, and good luck.
Just a thought (if you don’t have it disabled), have you tried ‘Esc’ to close the window?
Good luck.
It’s actually not your Serial Key (it’s your computer’s UNID), but that doesn’t matter.
Have you tried linking your two accounts from the ‘Game Content’ tab (very bottom) of ‘My Account’?
If you continue to have issue, you can send an email to the CS Team using support@guildwars2.com and ask them to change your Display Name, as well as assist you with any other issues.
Good luck.
If players don’t read the big red warning on in-game mails stating it’s not from ArenaNet, I’m not sure other mail would help.
There’s always the ‘manual’ accessed from the link above (Services – Online Manual), and, of course, the Wiki for more detailed information, as well as the in-game tutorial tips when leveling.
Good luck.
I’m more inclined to think of these wings being included in the GWU as an oversight. They shouldn’t be in there. They removed the mini clockheart because it was an achievement reward.
But the mini clockheart is from an achievement which can still be completed.
The tequatl wings came from doing a bunch of dailies during a 2-week special event in 2013. It’s been impossible to get them ever since.
What I meant to add was, I’d much prefer any item that was obtainable from previous LS1 content be added to the Laurel vendor, or as a drop from a relevant fractal, than gate it behind 2 RNG walls.
Including;
Bringing Dragon Bash back for the Shattered Holo-wings.
Add the Teq wings as the reward for doing the Tequatl Achievements. (Originaly from Boss Week! Which was chasing all Dragon clues)
Adding the Decorative Molten Jetpack to the loot tables from the Tier 4 Molten boss fractal.
Adding the Monocles to the loot table from the Tier 4 Aether-Retreat Fractal end chest.
Adding Scarlets Kiss and Scarlets Rainbow to the loot table from Mai Trins Tier 4 chest. You can forge Scarletts Kiss and Rainbow. I get Scarletts kiss at least once a week. Rainbow not as much. Just a random chance like a precursor. Can also still forge chain sword, scythe staff skins, and chainsaw greatsword. I get those about once a week as well. The scythe not as much as the other 2 though. I would like them to add the other suggested items you said as well though.
Really! You should update the Wiki, then, as it states some of those items are only available through the Trading Post.
Good luck.
Yes, and you will have to create a new account, if this account is your old terminated-because-of-refund account.
Thus, you can get a head-start on creating said new account by creating a P4F account, and then applying the Serial Key that the CS Team removes from the refunded account.
You can click the little ‘eye’ icon on each singular Daily Achievement you prefer, and it will track it on the UI.
You can choose these Dailies when you first log in from the Daily Log-in Reward window.
Good luck.
Way back, when I was leveling characters, I probably leveled 7-9 or 10 at the same time. It doesn’t really make much difference in Core Tyria, especially ever since Season One.
But, if you want to take part in whatever is current, you might want to focus more on one than another, to be able to participate in L80 content.
Good luck.
You could always create a Play4Free account, and apply the Serial Key to it, once the CS Team removes it from your old account.
Good luck.
Are those actual items, or a consumable that instantly rewards progress when opening the chest(s)?
^When purchasing. “Including fully removing the core game restrictions if a F2P account”…when purchasing the (upcoming) expansion.
That’s when Play4Free has no restrictions.
Well, it does say “at least”, which can indicate “could be even more”. You are welcome to edit the Wiki to reflect your experience. =)
Good luck.
You can try a -repair of the client, clearing the GW2 cache, and/or contact the CS Team for assistance.
All of these options are accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
Winterberry Nodes resetting at Daily Reset depends on the last time a character interacted with them:
There is an additional minimum-time elapsed for some open world chests & for the daily resource nodes named above. Specifically, at least 5-15 hours must pass between the last time the ‘node’ was used, even if the daily reset time has occurred before then.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Server_reset#Notes
This may be affecting your attempts to gather mats.
Good luck.
My advice is to save your L80 Boost until you have leveled one or two characters to 80 naturally.
If you have already used it, I suggest you park that character and level one or two characters naturally, so you can take advantage of the tutorial tips and the level-up rewards.
If you are interested in story, I suggest you do the Core Tyria Personal Story first, save up Gold (or use cash) to purchase Living World Season Two and play that next, then play the Heart of Thorns Story, and then use Gold (or cash) to acquire the Living World Season 3 Episodes you will need to unlock.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Have you tried a -repair of the client, or clearing the GW2 cache?
Instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
You could try deleting all your in-game Mail, and picking up all items and Gold from the Trading Post.
You could contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
There have been some issues because of the PS changes in the past.
Good luck.
If you applied your new Serial Key to your old account, you will need to contact the CS Team to have them remove the Serial Key so you can apply the Key to a new account. Once an account is terminated, it can’t be re-opened.
You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
One can always trade them in for Spirit Shards, rather than keeping them in inventory.
Good luck.
Only if you have maxed your masteries. Still though, if there is an empty char slot use them for key runs at least.
You may be confusing Level-up rewards with Tomes of Knowledge exchanges. You might visit Miyani and peruse her offerings.
Good luck.
One can always trade them in for Spirit Shards, rather than keeping them in inventory.

Stacking? Probably the same reason no one puts anything but junk in a Guild Bank, as the items in a Guild Bank can never be restored.
Here’s the recent thread and responses: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Suggestion-Guild-Merchant-Revenue
Good luck.
Not sure if this applies in your case, but…
The ghostly aura effect does not appear at all if the wearer’s chest piece sleeves cover the forearms down to the wrist.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Foefire_Wraps
Good luck.
The quest, itself, told you (in a bit of an indirect way) that these weapons would not be able to be used in the Mystic Forge.
You can talk to Ridhais, and exchange the weapon (to another, or another of the same, either with unselected stats) for 1000 Unbound Magic.
On the character that completed the story missions, go and find Ridhais in your home instance. She will allow you to exchange your current ascended weapon for a different one for 1000 Unbound Magic.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ridhais
Good luck.
I’m not sure there are any ‘guides’ to skills while leveling. The leveling process is pretty easy; if you are having a lot of difficulty, complete all maps of a level range first, before moving to the next level maps, perhaps.
Once your character has reached L80, all skills and traits will be available, save for the Elite Specialization traits/skills.
Good luck.
I’ve noticed some tools now incorporate the ‘extra’ swing into the first animation now, as well. Since the last month, or so.
That might be another ‘undocumented’ change. /shrug
You can download the game from the ‘My Account’ page. You can change the gw2setup to gw2.exe and try that.
Any physical disks will be out-of-date by a couple of years now.

I guess it will have to, as the Devs have no plans at this time (and haven’t for years) to spend the resources to re-engineer the game to make it possible (other than in Fractals, etc.)
Good luck.
There’s not a lot of research information on the drop rates in the Wiki (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Talk:Box_of_WvW_Supplies)
In all the boxes I’ve acquired over the last 3 years, I’ve not received one. Considering how many items are in the loot table, it’s not unfathomable to go a few months without receiving a specific one, I’d imagine.
You may have been especially lucky before; remember, it’s all RNG. =)
Good luck.
Unfortunately, your opinion would have been part of a tiny minority, at the time. You might look at the forums back then. The story, and particularly Scarlet Briar was very unpopular. More unpopular, dare I say, than the delivery method.
The Devs have explained, on more than 1 occasion, how difficult it would be to bring back Season 1, and if it is brought back, it would be in the form of Fractals, and such (for technical reasons). Thus, it will never be 1 long continuous 3-hour movie-like presentation, anyway.
Good luck.
There are no ‘servers’ in PvE, anymore. All Servers share the maps with the MegaServer. The only time Servers count is for WvW match-ups.
So, it doesn’t matter which server you call home for PvE. If you are asking in regards to WvW, you might consider posting in the WvW sub-forum.
Welcome return, and good luck.
Who? All those that appreciate these armor skins. Even an appreciation thread showed up.
Taste: it’s individual.
I don’t think this armor is a hint to anything any more than other armor skins have or have not been. Still, anything is possible. =)
Good luck.
I’m not sure what posting here in GD accomplishes. You could try to contact Level3, or ask your ISP to contact them, or, at the very least, contact the Tech CS Team.
Good luck.
I think all items that go in the Wallet act this way; thus, not a particular bug. =)
Here’s a walkthrough with some tips to avoid stalling the event: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Willing_Captives#Walkthrough

How to know the date a character was created?

I think there’s a list in the API sub-forum.
Edit: Actually, it just links to the Wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:List_of_applications
Good luck.
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
I don’t think it’s a bug, but intended. You will find the corresponding piece as a separate unlock.
Good luck.
Well, something odd is going on in your screenshot with your Options.
Yes, your game has a GW2 cache, you can find instructions in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ option above/below and ‘Search – Troubleshoot Trading Post’.
Good luck.
It’s more like 7 levels for all the Cities.
Living World Season 1 is no longer available (but there is a small recap in Lion’s Arch, and a long recap available on YouTube).
Living World Season 2 is available for purchase in the Gem Store as a bundle. It isn’t included with Heart of Thorns.
Living World Season 3 is current, but you will have missed Episodes 1-4 (purchasable through the Story Journal), and will unlock, free of charge Episode 5, and Episode 6 (once it releases). A few months (3-5?) after that, Expansion Two should release.
The Wiki (link above, or accessed in-game by typing ’/Wiki [topic of choice]) is a great resource for all things Guild Wars 2.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Sounds a bit like the Guild decorating feature; many contribute, and only a few profit.
Good luck.
Where are the rest of your options?
Have you tried High-Res Character Textures? Have you tried a -repair of the client? Cleared your GW2 cache?
Good luck.
You’ll find a thread over in ‘Tech Support’ with responses.
Good luck.
Except it’s been like that for months, if not years. Since whenever they changed the ‘My Account’ page (for those affected, anyway).
From the Wiki:
Directly teleports the player to a party or squad member anywhere in a non-instanced PvE environment.
Good luck.
Make sure to update your ticket and let the CS Team you no longer need assistance.
Good luck.
