If it’s a matter of delaying a Release to make sure every little change is in the Patch Notes, I’ll choose timely Releases every time.
Besides, there’s often Late Patch Notes added in the succeeding days, anyway.
Good luck.
Well, there you go. The Devs probably should have put these changes in the Patch Notes.
Glad to hear it worked out for you. =)
There were some changes added in the Options menus. No idea if any were added concerning your issue, but you could check through Options, just in case.
Good luck.
I don’t believe there will be a new Profession with the next expansion. In fact, I would be surprised if there are any new Professions for some time to come.
There will be, however, new Elite Specializations. In the upcoming expansion, and future expansions, I’d guess.
It’s probably directly below that spot. While you wait for a ‘fix’, can you turn your PS off? (Or whatever Story you have on right now…)
Good luck.
Which ones? Isn’t it only the ones in the original HoT maps that give credit? Are these the ones that have stopped giving credit?
Search them? Do you mean press the Interact Key?
Have you ticked the option for all ‘Autoloots’ in Options?
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Options#User_Interface
Good luck.
I wish we could use Finishers on more PvE mobs. I have many, many, many Finishers, and I would love to use them.
They should add that to the Knowledge Base. Thanks, penelopehannibal!
I lost two RL friends from this game because they also couldn’t stand the stupid, tedious level-up. That’s why, anymore, I just tell people to buy HoT and use the level 80 boost.
Compared to other MMOs, GW2 has barely any level-up worth process mentioning. Try hitting cap level in any other mainstream current MMO in a shorter time than GW2, I dare you (that’s not counting tomes or crafting or other shenanigans which let you hit level 80 in minutes).
The game doesn’t actually start until you hit level 80. It’s so bad that people will kick you from Ascalonian Catacombs for being less than 80. But it’s a level 35 dungeon!!
Not really, Ascalon story mode is level 35 (and quite rough for inexperienced players), ascalon exporable modes (meaning path 1-3 which 99% of the players do) are level 80. This does not get very well explained ingame though so I get how people still make this mistake.
I’m afraid you may be mistaken.
Ascalonian Catacombs (story) – Required Level 30
Ascalonian Catacombs (explorable) – Required Level 35
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascalonian_Catacombs
I believe Arah (Story and Explorable), Crucible of Eternity (Explorable), and Honor of the Waves (Explorable) are the L80 Dungeons.
Well, it’s RNG. You can always contact the CS Team (via the ‘Support’ link above/below) and ask if there is something amiss with your client.
Good luck.

No need to ‘dig one up’. Just set the Finisher you prefer in the Hero Panel (or use the ‘Randomize’ option).
Good luck.
Here’s a tip from the Wiki: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Talk:Flawless_Tiger_Claw
Good luck.
Many of us are on fixed incomes and manage to plan ahead by either exchanging Gold for Gems periodically, or saving a few dollars every month for that ‘must-have’ purchase when it arrives in the Gem Store.
Please don’t paint disabled/fixed income players as incapable of managing their funds.
Thank you.
Yep, just naming areas. Which was cool, I guess. =)
For an individualized response, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
I don’t think we had any choices regarding Lion’s Arch, other than naming some of the areas. At least, I don’t remember anything about Elona, or it’s present architecture, or anything else.
If the person stalking you is making new accounts (each time), does that mean his/her old accounts were banned? Not much a studio can do to keep anyone from making free accounts, and if they aren’t free accounts, then I’m guessing the old paid accounts were terminated (by ArenaNet).
Regardless, one would need to report the new account each time, so something can be done (especially in the case of free accounts).
Good luck.
It’s a shame we can’t do the Dailies with Rift Events, anymore. I hope the Devs didn’t remove them because some wouldn’t use a Stabilizer, or just walk on by.
Maybe you could play a Druid, and keep her safe with whatever she wants to play. Maybe a Guardian or a Warrior?
Good luck.
Your gf could skip the Story in-game until Season Two (purchasable), HoT and Season 3 (purchasable) available for L80 characters and just read the Wiki’s offerings on the Personal Story.
But, if she is bored already with leveling, I’m not sure it would be a solution. There’s a heck of a lot more other gameplay compared to story in the game.
Good luck.
Yes, that’s the Lake Doric portal. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lake_Doric#Getting_there
Good luck.
I believe if you mouse-over the one with the ‘house’ icon, it will show all the associated (linked-up/matched-up) Servers. You should see your Server’s name there.
Good luck.
Perhaps, you must purchase the weapon to unlock the Achievement? And those Plated Weapons awarded through the PvP/WvW Reward Track are kind of a bonus item?
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Machined_weapons
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Plated_weapons#Notes
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Machined_Staff_
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Specialization_Collections
Above are all pages with information regarding the Plated Staff and any associated collections (including 2 Specialization Collection/Achievements).
Hope some helps. Good luck.
You can run ahead and defeat the Golem on your next pass-through.
Good luck.
I would suggest a -repair to the client, in case of corrupted file(s), as that’s what that looks like.
Good luck.
Just so you know, and to not confuse others, there is no longer a ‘dedicated thread’ (I assume you meant the former ‘Tickets for Review’ thread).
OP, you can only update your ticket, and wait for a response (other than checking spam/junk/etc. folders and such).
Good luck.
Not with most of the headgear, no. At least, not at this time.
Good luck.
We already have such an item as a backpack. I was only responding to the suggestion of using the Flames of Kryta (or any other such bundle/environmental item).
Well, maybe you can look at the Windows instructions and apply it to Mac processes.
You can contact the Tech CS Team via the same link.
Good luck.
Ah, well. Mastery Point is a bit different than Hero Challenge. Understandably confusing.
Hope that^ helps.
Good luck.
You can try clearing the GW2 cache (instructions found [for Windows] in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below).
Good luck.
I’m not sure something like Flames of Kryta would be desirable. Having to drop the light source to fight in the dark, then open inventory to see again might not be best.
It is, sometimes, difficult to distinguish day from night (not to mention dusk/dawn) in-game.
So, which one is it? You can find tips for completing all of them in the Wiki or likely videos on Dulfy.
Hardly a ‘bug’.
Good luck.
You can try clearing the GW2 cache. (Instructions [for Windows] found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.)

I’m not really sure which one you are having issue with, but here are some tips from the Wiki:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tangled_Depths_Insight:_Nuhoch_Lane
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tangled_Depths_Insight:_Northern_Confluence
Also, Dulfy probably has videos on how to reach any and all Mastery Points.
Hope one of those helps. Good luck.

You can find dialogues in the Wiki for these characters. For example:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Oiche
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Realtai
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Omphalos_Chamber
Good luck.
The Deluxe Edition of Heart of Thorns does not include any Gems. You may have meant the Ultimate Edition. I suggest you save your Gems until you are more familiar with the game; then decide what item(s) you most desire.
One bit of advice I would give is to leave your L80 Boost item until you have leveled a couple of character naturally. (I’ve yet to use mine, actually.) Pay attention to the tutorial tips given with each level-up.
The Wiki is a great resource for all things Guild Wars 2 (link above, and accessed in-game as previously mentioned).
Take your time, there’s no rush. Spend some time in the Maguuma Wastes before entering Heart of Thorns. In fact, be quite comfortable with the game and your Professions before entering that jungle; it’s quite a step up from Core Tyria.
Gather everything; salvage or sell any Armor/Gear you don’t need at the moment, there’s always more than enough coming your way.
Welcome return, and good luck.
This is a bug only some forum-users encounter. You can use any other guildwars2.com page site’s ‘Support’ link to contact the CS Team or access the Knowledge Base, such as ‘Media’, ‘Community’, ‘Services’, ‘Releases’, etc.
Or, just take the ‘en’ (or ‘de’, ‘fr’, ‘es’) off.
Good luck.
Well, you could contact them just once more for all 7. No reason not to get those 14 Keys.
Good luck.
Yes. If you did not receive 2 BLC Keys instead, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below for assistance.
Of course, you must have consumed and unlocked the skin first.
Good luck.
Edit: Looking at the Wiki, it may be that you must unlock this item 3 times (once for each weight) to trigger the replacement keys. I’m not sure….
I’d go ahead, though, and contact the CS Team and ask.
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
You’ve likely hit the Daily Achievement Point cap of 15,000. You can check by mousing over your total, which will show a breakdown of Dailies, (retired Monthlies), etc. If Dailies and Monthlies add up to 15,000, you’ve hit the cap, and can not earn APs from Dailies anymore.
Good luck.
I dunno. A few Silver and a blue and/or a green every 10 minutes or so? Doesn’t seem all that lucrative to me. If you like opening chests, you might try Bitterfrost Frontier. Lots of chests to open there. =)
Good luck.
Once the shiny wears off WvW again, I’m sure the population status on Servers will change. It’s just a matter of time (and waiting), OP.
Good luck.
How do I fix This problem with Guild Wars 2?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
I believe there are several threads/posts addressing this issue in the ‘Support’ sub-forums.
You can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below, as well.
Good luck.
I dunno. You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below. And/or try a -repair of the client (same link) in case of corrupted files.
Good luck.
Did you use the character that completed the quest?
I will have to agree that Fractals are not the only way to acquire Gold in-game. I rarely ever do Fractals, nor do I farm, yet I am able to amass Gold.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
