He didn’t.
Posters should really check their facts, especially about the President of the studio.
How could anything represent the wishes of the entire playerbase? The entire playerbase does not agree on what would be the ideal game. Some want this, others want that. ArenaNet can only try to accommodate what they deem to be the more popular opinions, based on metrics that we, the playerbase, have no access to.
I’m not sure what you are referring to with ‘15 Achievement Points’, but the 10 Daily Achievement Points will cease to be awarded once one has reached the cap of 15,000 Daily Achievement Points (which are calculated by added Daily Achievement Points and (retired) Monthly Achievement Points.
You can check your Daily APs and Monthly APs by mousing over your total Achievement Points in the Hero Panel.
Good luck.
Are you using the new macOs client?
If so, there is a thread dedicated to issues to post in.
If not, it is available to use (accessed via the ‘My Account’ link above).
Good luck.
Perhaps, those that are concerned about such issues, should exercise caution and wait to acquire content. A bit of research beforehand might alleviate distress in the future. (A bit of ‘look before you leap’, so to speak.)
It’s only a matter of hours, if that long, before the information is on the Wiki or Dulfy.
Good luck.
Guaranteed Rare or better or two…
plus all that other stuff.
Server population is determined by WvW participation. It might change with the new match-ups/links on the 30th…or not.
No need to check at odd hours; population will only change with WvW changes.
You can use the Wiki (link above) to look up any item and determine its possible uses (or lack thereof).
Good luck.
You can’t buy your friends’ in-game goods for RL cash, no.
From the User Agreement (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-user-agreement/):

They will, eventually, open into your inventory, as only so many will stack on the side of the screen. You won’t lose the rewards.
How, exactly, would you get their Obsidian Shards, as Obsidian Shards are account-bound?

Good luck.
Just as easy (if not easier) to use one of the other site pages where the redirect doesn’t give an error, I’d guess.
Nothing to worry about. It’s been around for quite some time.
Here’s some information about the Soundtrack:

Good luck.
Yes, it’s a bug that affects only some of forum-users. You can find several threads/post on the issue dating back to when the Support site was first changed. As you noticed, you can use the redirect from any other guildwars2.com site. It seems that the language modifier (en./de./fr./es.) is what causes the bug (for just some of us).
They use the option ‘Bags Hidden’ to make all inventory items show up together, instead of in separate bags.

Good luck.
I don’t believe it is anything other than a Gem Store promotion. If there was going to be a Festival, I’m sure they would have announced it before with a blog News release.
All servers share the same maps in PvE. Server choice only matters for WvW.

Welcome return, and good luck.

Should ArenaNet listen to you, and others that preferred the old system, or listen to others, that did not care for Living World Season One’s system of never being able to repeat content? Me, I preferred the old system, but was much, much in the minority at the time.
To me, it seems many of the systems we see added to the game, such as Renown Hearts in the new maps, are things I’ve seen requested often on the forums.
I’m sure it is difficult to please everyone that plays an MMO, as everyone has their favorites and things they dislike.
Well, not Webby (Mother), but a Webby Hatchling shows up in your Home Instance, occasionally with M.O.X. Webby (Mother) would be the one that ate the Asura, and M.O.X.’s pet.

You can find mention of some of the graphics updates recently in the Dev Tracker, if you are so inclined.
Good luck.
That’s not really true. The ‘official stance’/Dev statements are very clear. There is no mixing of Armor types: Light, Medium, Heavy, Outfit (a fourth type).
Here’s a quote: ‘When we started looking at bringing more of the clothing back into armor with mix and match styles there are some fundamental incompatible things between weight classes. (part of how we set up every armor to allow many dye channels and styles per piece).. There really is no way at this point over six years since we started development to make absolutely everything work together.’
I have multiple accounts, hence -password and -email.
Yes, doing this is extra risk, but a crash reporter sending the full command line without cleaning up fields it knows are sensitive is sloppy.
Also I would hope that Anet do NOT store my password. They should be storing a salted hash of my password (seems they bcrypt from reading the crash log), not the password itself.
Besides that, my login data would be on a secure system without general access, while a crash report would be send to their QA system. I expect the security levels of these two systems to be very different.
Not to mention there are plenty of cases of people pasting the crash logs to the official forums or reddit – if someone did that without realising the command line is included in the crash output it would be Very Bad.
As an aside, wonder if GW2 needs to comply with GDPR and what (if anything) Anet are doing about it.
Here’s the information on ArenaNet’s Privacy Policy, including addresses to contact them should you have any questions/concerns: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/arenanet-privacy-policy/
Good luck.
Have you tried a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s)?
Tried contacting the CS Team?
Good luck.
Here’s a current thread (even on this page) discussing the topic. You may find the responses of interest.

Good luck.
What’s the difference between a ‘translation’ and sub-titles?
Which community(ies) should ArenaNet value out of all who desire localization?
The issue is d3d9.dll.
Are you using any 3rd party programs? Any graphics card programs? Try disabling those.
Good luck.
Ahh…of course.
Thanks.
Ahh, it’s been awhile. You are correct.
I don’t know; perhaps the OP has lost interest. /shrug
I’d say the place (without updrafts) that would afford the longest glide would be Heart of the Volcano (instance) since you can free-fall there for over a minute.
I am coming up for 5 years of playing, so been through every change from the beginning where you had exotic gear with rune of the pirate to todays MF through salvage. I have had 22 precursor drops of which I’ve made 15, plus legendary fractal and pvp backpacks. What I can say for sure, although its hard to prove, is that with each patch, the drop rates decrease in spite of my MF going up to where it is now at 286%. Silverwastes, Tequatil, worst drops I’ve ever experienced, even salvaging rares or exos with BL salvage kit does not yield ectos like it used to (I know, 100% upgrades and 50% for rarer items). I have played 13k hours, and at level 2905 in WvW, have not seen any decent drop. I think you could take every stat ever made with percentages to try prove or disprove stats, but if you eat KFC every day for 5 years and they keep changing the recipe, no matter what they say, you know its changed every time. GL to you all for the future, its looks more like slim pickings from here.
With 22 Precursor drops, I’d say your luck is pretty good. With half your time played (for nearly 5 years), I’ve only had 2. 0.o
I’ve no problem with the cats, either way, but I’m wondering why they are called or considered ‘PvP’ cats. I only acquired one (the Revenant one) in the PvP Lobby.
It’s probably unlikely that resources would be spent on something so few would embrace. Especially, when there are features that, with a little extra player effort, provide the function desired.
Still, good luck.
Also, make sure you don’t have the Ancestral Outfit consumable on some character, or in the bank.
Good luck.
You are most welcome! =)
If you’ve only insta-boosted a character to L80, I would naturally level another character and complete the Personal Story. Then, either purchase Living World Season Two and play through that (or skip it and jump ahead to HoT), finish the HoT Story, and then purchase (if necessary) Living World Season 3 Episodes and play through those to prepare for the next expansion Story.
I usually do some of the myriad Dailies offered, and work on Episode Achievement completions.
Good luck.
But, we already have that with the press of a key. You said so yourself. Press ‘F’ and choose what you want, and leave the rest (with all Autoloots turned off).
Have you tried a -repair of the client?
I don’t think bundling HoT with the new expansion would be unexpected, as that is exactly what ArenaNet said they would do. What might be unexpected would be to give a discount to prior purchasers.
I don’t think HoT will become Play4Free, though, like the Core game.

Your Mithril Pistol Barrels don’t look like the ones shown in the Wiki: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mithril_Pistol_Barrel
Perhaps, they are something else? Mithril Rifle Barrels? https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mithril_Rifle_Barrel
To me, and this is just my opinion, of course, if one wanted to peruse the loot and manage it after each acquisition, one extra press of the ‘Interact’ key (which is what we have available presently) would not make much difference.
The advantage to (auto)Auto-loot is not having to stop and press any keys at all.
Good luck.
If you give more details/information, possibly someone can offer assistance.
You can try a -repair of the client; instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Search – Repair’.
Good luck.
You can update your ticket to ask, as only the CS Team will know.
Good luck.
Sounds like Nicholas. I’d be up for a new/resurrected Nicholas. And Yakkington (the 22nd, of course).
There’s a Dev post (from Gaile, I think) about this issue (honoring deceased players) and why it’s not a common practice. You could use Google to find it, if interested.
Good luck.
Ahh, well then, you could update the Wiki to reflect that. I’ve not been in the game today.
Thanks.
Edit: It does seem the door to that room has been closed. It seems a recent change, as I know I looked at the Dreamthistle set at the previous patch or two. Thus, they probably won’t be returned for some time, as weapon sets cycle in and out from the BL Specialists.
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
Pretty sure the Dreamthistle Weapon Skins are available from the Black Lion Weapons Specialist now, and have been for quite some time. I know I bought one a few months back. They cost 3 Tickets.

Good luck.
