I suppose they could release all (kinds of ) content at the same time; but, of course, that would be a very long wait while every team finished all projects.
The studio probably thinks, and, I believe, has stated, that they release content when it’s ready.
I believe this was fixed once, not long ago. Seemingly, it has broken, again.
One thing you might try (while waiting for another fix), is attempting the content right after a patch, when everything resets.

It seems HoT did give multiple places to play. Just like Southsun, Triple Trouble, Tequatl, and others, the new maps of HoT give different (easier) kinds of content.
Not every other person is saying they will wait or not spend. I’ve seen plenty of posts stating they will not only purchase the expansion, they will pre-purchase.

Usually, when players post screens like that, it’s a graphics driver, or less common but does happen, a hardware (graphics card) issue.

I don’t think ArenaNet undervalues Brazilians or any other group that would enjoy the game translated. The problem would be if every group that wanted translation’s desires were fulfilled, there would be no game to translate. I.e., all resources would be spent in that area. I think the studio has to be pretty darn positive that the resources spent will be more than recouped. Otherwise, they act as a charity, and lacking donors, that would spell studio closure.
They should really make it clear in their information. The fact that I had to come to the forums to find this information, is clearly ridiculous.

It depends on what you already have, what your goals might be, whether any QoL conveniences are important, etc., etc.
Many, many different items appeal to a wide range of players. My personal favorite purchase was the Royal Terrace Pass. But, I’ve purchased many BLC Keys and been quite happy with the results, and Unlimited Gathering Tools are great, as well. And Gliders are cool. There are many options.

You’ve likely hit the Daily AP cap of 15,000 points. You can check by mousing over the total at the top left of the window, and if the Daily points and (retired) Monthly points add up to 15,000, you’ve reached the cap.
In the future, you can use Google (see the Sticky in various sub-forums) to search for similar threads (it’s a topic that comes up often).

just so you know (and can tell the guy you were running with maybe) in instances /stuck (in the chat box) works for getting you out of scenary. it will teleport to the last checkpoint after 30 seconds if you use it and stand still.

Thanks for the 30 seconds standing still hint. I got stuck a few times climbing in Draconis Mons mountains. /stuck never worked, probably because I kept trying to jump and wiggle myself out.
It only works in instances; not in open maps. Though, you should still use it in open maps as it gives information to the Devs so they can fix those spots.

To me, it sounds a bit like cutting one’s nose off to spite one’s face. Or, perhaps, throwing the baby out with the bath water.
No one knows for sure what will be happening. We can only go by what was stated: That Heart of Thorns would be included in the new expansion pack. The price may or may not drop.
It is smart not to buy from ‘disreputable’ vendors, but the Authorized Resellers do offer discounts above and beyond what ArenaNet offers, at times.

But, I will let it go. If there are no complaints when different ‘upgrades’ are offered, and no one feels one is ‘better’ than the other, fantastic.
Remember, though, these ‘upgrades’ are likely to cost the same as the Unlimited Tools do now to recoup the losses in Tools purchases.

If you haven’t playing since launch, my advice would be to leave the L80 Boost and level one or two character up naturally. The game has changed, and you would not miss the tutorial tips and level-up rewards doing so.

Well, right now, one can purchase a different Gathering Tool to replace the one(s) one has slotted. I’m not sure purchasing an upgrade to go into a Gathering Tool slot would be much different. Some can be had without even stepping foot in Raids! =)
But the some doesn’t include hot specific stats. Raid was special because only in that place you can get specific hot stats. It was a primary complain for hot trinkets for non-raiders before they make it more accessible via LS3.

Some Trophies are used in creating other items, for ‘quests’, etc. You’d have to look up each one. As one becomes more familiar with the game, one knows what is useful, and what is not. And, if there is any question, one can consult the Wiki. I find it quite impressive.

The rules are the same for all accounts, as far as new players go.
You can use the Wiki to see all the items you can purchase with Karma; then decide if you want to spend it on Recipes.
Again, you can use the Wiki to see if any Trophies are worth keeping.

I have never purchased an Ascended Trinket with Unbound Magic (not my thing, I prefer Nodes and Minis). Yet, strangely enough, many of my characters wear Ascended Trinkets. How is this possible?
I think the mounts gained through Masteries will be like other (with the exception of Gliding) movement Masteries, and confined to the new expansion maps.
Wouldn’t there be the same concerns? Buying these unlimited items for your tools’ upgrade slots, then something ‘better’ coming along?

There’s no such thing as a YB Server in PvE. All Servers share the same maps. You would have to note the IP addresses of each map you play in.
