How about with a different character? And, of course, a -repair (in case of corrupted file[s]).
You know, there are some instances one does not wish to leave (and reset) to go repair armor at a repair station. I, personally, was happy to use one of my many Repair Canisters in such an instance. /shrug
Thus, I’m not sure removing Repair Canisters would suit the entire playerbase.
There’s the 3 different backpacks in the HoT story…which require 3 play-throughs, I believe.
Not sure if you are interested in those.
Good luck.
Then, your best bet is to contact the CS Team, as advised above. (You could also try a -repair of the client, whilst waiting.)
Good luck.
Edit: Oh, and, of course, you do have the completed Enchanted Map in your inventory, yes?

Last time I remember doing it, I had to stand in the ‘pot’ with the tree. You might try that.
According to your screenshot, you are nowhere near close enough. (The interactable spot isn’t something that shows up when pressing the Cntl key or using the option to show all interactable items.)
Good luck.

Thieves scare me to death in WvW. And they always seem to be alone. So, I don’t think Thieves need any ‘Holy Trinity’ in WvW.
The front page of the forums lists the address, as well.
Good luck.
For those that are uneasy, but still want (to collect) the pet, it can be used only when underwater – no undesired animations, then. =)
Of course, that requires a bit of extra work, but I’m sure it would be worth it to those concerned about the fish.
Good luck.
You can log out, and back in; that may restore any points. If not, log into Guild Wars, speak to Kimmes, and then log into Guild Wars 2.
It’s just a bug that surfaces now and then. Nothing to worry about.
Good luck.
It is a feature they added some time back. I believe there is an option in Options to enable said feature. Or, maybe it’s just this: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Stop_Riding
The newer Travel items have this tool-tip:
‘Travel. Double-click to equip a bundle that changes how you move around the world.
Using this item automatically equips it while running outside of combat. The effect can be removed by using the Stop Riding skill or by double-clicking this item again.’
Good luck.

I think it’s perfectly fine. Just like the different kinds of content, such as Raids, it does not appeal to everyone, but does to some. Not my cup of tea, again, such as Raids, but I would not ask for it/them to be changed, because some enjoy it/them.
Variety is always good. Everything does not have to appeal to everyone, not even to the majority (such as Raids).
Good luck.
Basic things and why aren't they in game?

If you so desire, you can use Google to search for the Dev response about sitting on chairs (basically, part of the engine and different size models). I’m unsure if there has been a response about emotes; more emotes were recently added. I don’t know what the ‘lack of things’ specifically are, so I find it hard to comment on those.
Good luck.
There’s this: https://github.com/TheCheatsrichter/Gw2_Launchbuddy/releases/tag/1.0.5
Good luck.
Then, at that time, you could have updated your ticket. All tickets are closed after 30 days with no response. Make sure to keep the dialog going until final determination.
Have you tried a -repair to the client, in case of corrupted file(s)?
Good luck.

Create a new character (don’t, if possible, delete your existing characters), and start from the beginning.
Don’t venture into Heart of Thorns (except to possibly unlock Masteries, and, perhaps, complete the first level of Gliding [you could try Lake Doric for HoT Mastery XP]), until you are familiar with the game.
That would be my advice. Welcome return, and good luck.
Well, and they had said they were working on ‘something big’, but would not say what it was.
The rest of you missed the point again: I have completed all four chapters of Living Story 3.
I want to get BACK to Bloodstone Fen and Ember Bay. Apparently we can’t do that without spending some kind of money.
Are you referring to in-game Gold (a Waypoint fee)? If your character has been there once, that character opened up a Waypoint in the relevant map, and may use in-game Gold to travel there.
If you are referring to characters that have never been there before, you have choices: complete the Story Episode(s) required (no in-game Gold cost), use a Waypoint to a Friend (may or may not cost in-game Gold), or purchase the map Portal Scroll (in-game Gold cost).
Good luck.
Perhaps, like many of us, it may require more than 1 month to learn to play your Profession. Take your time exploring all that Tyria has to offer. Complete the higher level maps before venturing into launch-HoT maps. Learn all the mechanics of the game, and that doesn’t mean just combat.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Well, as most don’t read the Bugs sub-forum, the Devs probably think an announcement addressing something played as much as that content (especially since the latest Current Event,) would get more exposure in General Discussion.
Good luck.
Well, there was a discussion about it yesterday: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/BLTC-What-exactly-is-Sale-ending-soon
Good luck.
You can try a VPN.
Good luck.
I thought anet didn’t allow those?
They are allowed. You can, if desired, use Google to search for the Dev quote that states so.
You can also find it referenced in the Wiki: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Error_code
Good luck.
Well, there is a Point of Interest to complete in the Chantry of Secrets map/instance. So, one thing. =P
You can try a VPN.
Good luck.
I think Shadows are on Medium. And, yes, I’ve tried it with Shadows on Low/Off. A couple of FPS difference, I believe. Not enough to remove Shadows from sight, though.
Thanks for the offer, though.
Sometimes, app creators change their apps. Something might have changed, and is inconsistent with a GW2 file.

Not sure you could walk to Southsun; though, you used to be able to take a boat there.
There’s an asura gate in LA now.
Regardless, no map is gated behind purchase except those associated with the expansion, Heart of Thorns. And, just like the initial purchase of the game, are included, at no extra cost, with said expansion, as long as one logs into Guild Wars 2 during the current live period of time, usually around 2 months. Not a very arduous requirement, in my opinion.
Good luck.
All the LWS3 maps are locked behind having the chapter unlocked, which at this point means that Bloodstone Fen, Ember Bay and Bitterfrost Frontier need to be purchased if the player was not active during the months it was a free unlock.
However, to the people who are complaining about having to play the first chapter of each story chapter, are you not interested in buying the related maps? Each of the LWS3 maps have one for purchase for some unbound magic and half a gold piece, I believe. I haven’t bought any of the maps, but it doesn’t bother me, and I personally don’t want the inventory spam, but it might be useful for you if it’s really such a barrier. But for the very first time, you definitely gotta go the long way to it.
I am aware there is a portal to Southsun. Not really the point. Lol.
As I stated, the only maps gated behind purchase are those associated with HoT (that includes the Living World Season Three maps).
I think you mean purchase a ‘Map Portal Scroll’ rather than purchase a ‘map’. Which, of course, can only be used after completing the necessary Story Episode(s), at least once on the account, first.
Good luck.
Huh. I have the same specs almost, though my laptop is an Acer, with turbo-boost to 2.90 (turned off) and 512 RAM on the same video card. I play medium to high on most GW2 graphics and average about 20 FPS, except around lots of players/things rendered at the same time.
What I do have turned down is Reflections, Character Model Limit and Character Model Quality (at low or medium). My Sound Quality is at High (not sure what difference that makes).
I also use Balanced, rather than High Performance in Windows; I’m on Windows 7 rather than 10 (heard nothing but bad press about 10, so opted out).
I did up my RAM from 4G to 6G. Seemed to help, but that was long ago. I also run the 32-bit client, though I could, and have, run the 64-bit client. No real difference there; I very rarely experience game crashes.
Perhaps, the difference is the on-board RAM on the video card. /shrug

Bring back the ambient Snakes, I say.
I would hold off on Heart of Thorns until I had more experience. Try World Completion, or, at least, completing all L80 Maps. You could unlock Living World Season Two, and play through that. You could play all Current Events available sans HoT. You could try out World vs. World. You could complete Achievements that appeal to you both. There is nothing, really, that two players can’t do together.
Good luck.
^That’s what I always thought. /shrug

You might try the Thief sub-forum.

Really? I’ve never seen the quotes where someone from the CS Team states that all names, pet, Guild and/or character, are checked when reporting ‘Character Name’ (which is the only in-game Report option).
Has anyone a link (or two)? I’d love to quote them over in Account Support. Thanks.

Ah, good. Would mess me up if it were changed to Eastern Time. Lol.
Really? Are the offerings in the Gem Store changing at 9 AM Eastern Time now, rather than 9 AM Pacific? I haven’t really been paying attention, but it used to be Pacific Time.
Not sure you could walk to Southsun; though, you used to be able to take a boat there.

Are you saying your game crashes and you are seeing a Crash Report window pop up?
If so, click ‘Show Details’, and post (just) the first part of the crash report here, and others may be able to offer assistance.
Otherwise, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
You can try purchasing multiple smaller amounts.
You can contact the Billing CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.

No. You can only upgrade an account with Heart of Thorns once.
I feed mine to eaters, if I don’t use them for other things, such as Utilities or, for instance, Ley-Line Infused Tools (which sell for a pretty penny, or should I say Copper).
Here’s the explanation for that particular code:
Network issue. Failing to get connected to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by the routeur or by a network server failure. If the problem remains, please contact the online assistance.
You can look into your router, and/or contact your ISP.
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below.
Good luck.
I don’t believe there are any ‘Potion(s) of Modrem/Chak Slaying’ at this time. Thus, no previous potions would help.
Rather use some other generic Utility, that is not creature-specific.
Good luck.
It really makes no difference what you end up with. They are just Trophies that have no use. The only ‘reward’ is Achievement Points.
If you feel it necessary, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link. They may be able to send you one, you can keep in your inventory or bank, or delete.
Good luck.
