No, NA and EU have the same Dailies. But, Core Tyria and HoT purchasers can have different Dailies, as well as those with sub-L80 only characters.
His timer may have been set up with the previous Dailies, possibly.

If I remember correctly, there was a time players could submit designs for Guild logos. And a few were chosen.
Or maybe we just got to ‘vote’ for some new designs to be added. I really don’t remember the details.

You can upgrade from Standard HoT to Deluxe HoT in the Gem Store for, I believe, $35 in Gems. Make sure to choose the HoT Deluxe upgrade, rather than the Core Deluxe upgrade.

As far as I’ve seen, the nodes change when the Black Lion Chest changes. So, each ‘season’.
You can preview the contents with each ‘seasonal’ change to see which nodes are on offer.

I submitted a ticket already (about a week ago) and got no response. I was hoping posting it on the forums a Dev / GM would see it and be able to help.
Just to be sure…you submitted a ticket using the Web-form accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below, and not in-game (which is a Bug Report, and will garner no response, as indicated on the Bug Report window), yes?
If you did use the web-form, you can just update your ticket by responding to the automated reply.
Also, is it possible you completed World Completion on both characters some time back, and have just misplaced the Gifts of Exploration? You might use one of the GW2 apps to look through all storage (bank and character).

Another choice is to play in the other Level 80 Maps for a while. Southsun, Dry Top, The Silverwastes, some of the Season 3 maps, even Frostgorge and the Orr maps.
Jumping right to the Heart of Thorns (core) maps after reaching L80, which you might have accomplished without ever entering a Map above L50-60 can be quite a shock.
Take your time, those maps aren’t going anywhere.

There have many many posts about applying the key to the wrong account. The CS Team has been able to help all of those posters, as long as they have had the information to provide to the Team (the Team makes sure they are dealing with the actual account-owner, of course; we would not want it any other way).

The best advice is to create characters, and use weapons, and complete content that you find most fun. It doesn’t matter what others say if you don’t find a game fun. Especially in this game, in leveling up it doesn’t really matter much how you gear up your characters, what build you use, or what weapon you choose.
I don’t even use a ‘build’ and choose my weapons more for looks than function, and I do just fine. Of course, I don’t Raid; it’s not really my thing. /shrug
(On my Necromancer, I use Staff and Axe/something…lol, I can’t even remember, and it’s like my second Main.)

When you were given a refund, did you not get notice that that account was forever void, and could not be re-instated?
I know it states that in the Knowledge Base:
‘Note: The refund process includes permanent closure of the Guild Wars 2 account. If you wish to continue to play Guild Wars 2, or if you desire to play in the future, you will need to purchase a new serial code and create a completely new account.’
I’m sure the CS Team will be able to remove the Serial Key from the closed account and issue you another to create a new account. There are other players they are serving, as well, up to 5000 per day.

Funny. There was a previous thread about how cool that sound was, and how it was the music from the Crystal Desert, or, well, I don’t remember, exactly, but some song from GW1.

Remember, when the game started, we had to gather/accept/interact with all loot.

The Account Restoration Tool was not implemented until after December of 2012. Thus, no account restorations could be given for losses before that date (at least, in the past). Maybe, they have to tools to go back further now; maybe not.

I’m not sure using the Glider necessarily means one does not think it is too big. I bought it, used it (still have it equipped), but think it is too big. Not because of others using it; but on my own screen.
Still, it seems others enjoy the larger size; so I need to either return it, or make my peace with it. /shrug
It’s my understanding that items in the wardrobe can’t be removed. Did they change that? Or are they allowing people to keep skins and get a refund?

I will probably just keep it, anyway. Was only a few Gold; the exchange rate has been good, lately.
Who knows what the next Elite Specializations will bring as far as what will be ‘BiS’ profession-wise. You can probably choose anything you find fun.
My choice for a first-time character would be Ranger. Pretty capable, imo, and not too complicated. Condi is pretty big right now, and Rangers have condition-builds, I believe. It’s also fun to charm all the different pets.

I think there’s a disclaimer with the Minimum Requirements that says one may need better specs to play additions to the game. Or something like that.
I played with those specs for the first year, or so. What I have now is not much better; a bit more RAM and a quad-core. /shrug
