Make eles choose 2 attunements like how everyone else chooses two weapon sets.

People forget that the sigils proc on attunement was not originally in the game. It was patched in. Therefore all the arguements of attunement swapping acting as a weapon swap are false. Because it is not. If it was, then they would have not had to patch it.
Therefore, the weapon swapping is the only thing that cancels movement skills, and is most likely the reason an ele cant switch weapons.
To confirm, go into a hot join, use RTL, then try manually changing weapons. See if this cancels RTL.
Switching weapons cancels your movement abilities.
I just checked WW, Rush and Savage Leap and their ranges are increased by swiftness.
ele never swaps weapons. that is probably why RTL is not cancelled

Agreed, it’s just spam now. Meanwhile my ele just died to a backstab for 10k damage in tPvP and then hit by eviscerate for 8k. I got hit by heart seeker that did 5.9k earlier and got mugged for nearly 7k then Ice shard stabbed for 4k
This is either you are not using proper build or playing it incorrectly.

There was a lot of discussion about quickness nerf before, and sure it can be easier to fix the game without it.
But my discussion is solely about Frenzy. Since we kept the 50% extra damage, can the skill just give more IAS? You do not have to change quickness, just change frenzy.
I don’t understand why players cannot accept mechanical differences between skills and want everything to be normalized. If Rtl were like other movement skills, then eles would be able to use utilities during Rtl just like Rush or Swoop. What does that introduce? Rtl + lightning flash up cliffs? Chilled/cripped before using Rtl —> cleansing flame during Rtl and still go the full distance. Rtl to target --> signet of earth to immobilize target during Rtl —> target can’t dodge the updraft combo. Be careful what you wish for.
Anyone suggesting Rtl requiring a target are simply mad an ele got away. No other movement/teleport skill requires this (except guardians, and it’s a teleport), and if escape is an issue, talk to thieves and mesmers as well. Ele get a lot of flak for this because of their strong bunkering capabilities, but maybe that’s the problem, and not mobility?
What utilities are you using during rush or swoop that are not instant cast and usable at any instant anyway. The main complain of rtl is the ele cannot be affected by slows.
If RTL is affected by orb, can it also be affected by slows now?
Just read your skills before you enter combat. It is not like they would completely rework a skill and make it a different ability. The difference would be say recharge times or damage multipliers.
Critical damage should be the warrior mechanic. Solves the game balance

You didn’t hear about that infinite dodge. They patched it in for PvEs to fight mobs better.
In AN defense GW1 skill splitting happened years down the line. Originally it was one continuous game. I think that is just their company philosophy. Not that it is good or bad one way or the other, it is just what they like to do.
IMO, I think it is the food and the trait system that make the game hard to balance. Adds way too many variables to the mix.

Eles are a lot less scary in large team fights than in small scale, IMO. When their CC hits the entirety of your team fighting at a point it becomes a far, far better class than when it only hits one out of four.
The most effective way of burstin an ele is a combination of poison and patience. Poison seriously hampers their ability to sustain themselves in water and other attunements. Patience is needed because of their three stun breaks, usually one of which is an invuln, one of which is a teleport. Also, burst classes have serious difficulty breaking through their 5 or 6 seconds of protection on earth attunement, so be very careful not to waste your burst in that fashion.
But like I said, eles aren’t as scary in team fights and can be bursted down like most other classes if you catch them good enough. That, to me, is their major weakness. Their damage will more than likely be subpar in comparison to other classes, if not, they’ll die super quick.
In small situations they are strong, but are you saying the fire fields and shared boons and not better in team scenario? I believe they share boons with teammates on swapping, correct me if I am wrong.
Mesmers deny mesmers are strong. But then every class denies their strength to some extent.

Although my personal view I think balance may be more important then these things atm. I do not disagree with the structure you laid out. However I wonder with character based mmr which is better imo what happens is you climb the ladder and something gets a big change on your class. Now you have to start over basically if you switch classes. And it could go either way your terrible or great at that new class. But then the ladder becomes even more dense with characters on it. 5 times as many slots.
Unless you broke it down by class, which is what I think it should display anyway. How do you compare a dps rank to a bunker rank.
I think the pressing CDs would be the traits. That would give maybe 5 timers you would have. They are very important. Worse thing to happen to me is to pop frenzy pref nerf to finish a target and then My auto quickness procs at the same time from grandmaster trait on 90 sec CD.

If you don’t attack while they have retal up, then you are just letting them beat on you for free. Only counter is boon removal I guess, but you can’t choose the boon.

The amount you decap per tick is >> then the amount you cap per tick. This would create a little imbalance in that the defender would be at a disadvantage. dodge 4 times and you lose the point.

I saw killing the boss at the end gives 2 babble bubbles something like that, but what do we do with the 250 bubbles?
You can turn in the 250 bubbles for 1 babble bubble at Moto, who stands next to the Super Adventure Box. If you click on him, he will show a trade menu with tabs, I think it is the third tab that gives you the option to turn in your baubles. When you get to zone 3 in world 1, there will also be shops that sell bags, which will give you 250 more slots for your baubles.

Sustain is all the damage outside of burst. axe auto attack whirlwind every other number on your bar but 100 blades and eviscerate. I do not understand what is the problem.

This is misconception. Although my sig used to say frenzy auto axe>> frenzy 100 blades. It is only true if target is not stationary.
And I am not misinforming, it is the truth. War sustain is unaffected by this.

But in pvp when people are moving about all which way, we don’t have “sustained damage”. Frenzy gave us more damage because we were the only class that didn’t have sustained. Now its nerfed by 50%, so yup, its a nerf to our overrall pvp damage.
I don’t pve. War had sustain in pvp. People will probably argue with me about this, but you didn’t always have to hide.
