Distracting strikes is counter intuitive skill. It causes confusion for 5 seconds on interrupts. However confusion is only effective if a player is activating skills. If they are interrupted, they are not activating a skill. Therefore the trait actually works against itself by cutting into the confusion uptime
So your complaining about having to position yourself in a pvp game…

Getting on top of stuff is a bug. That is why sometimes it puts you inside the wall. Teleporting requires line of sight. The reason PR does not always put you on top the wall is because you are not doing it at the proper distance. Miss the distance and the game goes LOS into the wall. Now if you are very close to the wall, then it will not cause an issue.

Yeah? what’s next? Don’t walk near walls as a mesmer? like seriously… You phase retreat near walls because sometimes and only sometimes it ports you up walls and that is useful. Plus you could be needing to escape, create a clone or whatever is the situation, could be many reasons but to say not to use any mez tele skills near walls is plain ********.
Climbing a wall using phase retreat is unintended, else it would work all the time. Sounds like a positioning issue when using PR. Don’t get mad at me.
You could just PR in a different direction, no one forces you to choose the wall direction, unless your trying to get on top the wall, then that is your risk.
This is a PR problem, it can happen with blink but less likely since you select the spot.
I am not telling you to not use your skills, just be aware of your surroundings. Again this is your positioning issue, it is not the wall’s fault.

The difference between low armor and high armor is like 200 toughness. That is what like 1% damage reduction lol.

If you do not think balance and bug fixes are priority, you are probably playing one of those imbalanced classes, or hitting a bug you haven’t/have realized. :p
Examples: block bug, svanir bug, rune condition duration bug, tornado bug, sigil of paralyzation bug, s/d earth healing bug, grenade kit refinement unintentional high spike, stealth culling and non revealing when attacks blocked, venoms not cancelling when hitting blocking targets, ranger condition transfer to pets bug, stacking traps bug, mesmer double shatter bug, quickness stomping bug, res skills not ressing but just healing some bug, ground targeted conditions still applying while blocking bug, magnet pulls you while blocking bug, etc.
I am sure I am missing some as not all are reported since players like to abuse things.

Quick breathing when used with warhorn 4 is converting one of the movement conditions to a boon instead of removing them all first like it should and converting another condition to a boon. Most notable when fighting a condition damage engineer and you have several conditions applied.
Also random thing we noticed, banners do not apply buffs to downed teammates. They are still technically on the battle field and you can target them with buffs, yet the banners apply regen trait does not work when you are downed.
And to the topic maker, what the kitten man? I don’t know your name at all but I know alot of other warriors names that are extremely good, and none of them claims to be the best warrior of GW2. Chill out, go play. You’re not the best warrior in GW2, undoubted.

This is due to a patch I think it was January. Initially before this patch, if you were in a party, all 5 green dots would show on the spvp mini map while in a battle. They could be anywhere and it would show. And you would always see their respective health bars.
Then there was an intermediate step when all 5 bars showed in the top and you could track all the health bars together.
Somewhere along the line, this was changed and teammates and party mates would disappear when too far away and you cannot see them on the mini map until in proximity.
Stop attacking the devs personally. Does nothing to contribute to the discussion. We care about the information not the informant.

This is not a major thing, but could you update whirlwind description to include the evade. It just does not say it, and we all know it, but just to write it on the skill would be nice.
Also, update eviscerate with the cast time. Even though it is an instant skill, it takes 3/4 sec to hit regardless of the distance of the target. I consider this a cast time, correct me if I am wrong. Like bulls charge 1 sec cast time.
Update Stick and Move trait to reflect the damage increase. Wiki says 3%
Update building momentum to reflect the 1.5 bars of endurance it refills.

I just want to say that some of the comments concern me from warrior POV.
‘We feel engi condi is not up to the level it needs to be’
I already die to condi, and now your going to make it even easier
‘Turret applying cripple’ Slows in general are such a warrior hard counter it is probably worse than damage
‘Giving wars and thieves access to boon removal’ great in concept but sounds like it may end up on some outlandish skills that aren’t used much
‘dp for ressing’ this will disproportionately affect some classes more than others.
“rezzing being harder’ You are already revived keeping all the conditions on you. Yet when damaging a body, this does not affect the revival, say if by a signet.
Every skill that is introduced with a slowing effect is a hard counter to warriors in our condition removal limitations. Our gap closers are effected by slows, so that is the problem. Teleports and other swap skills and such are not.
Lastly, Warrior damage is high but securing damage opportunity is low. War sustain is difficult because from NA meta pov you just can’t stay there too long. And the slows prevent retreat.
tldr; Revert mending to 20 sec please. Give us some burst damage back

Need to fix the Ranger underwater downed skills as well. Raid on Capricorn is annoying enough without having to fight an immortal Ranger underwater.
If you’re unfamiliar with it due to hating underwater combat on this map, it’s a bug that lets their pet continue to heal them even after you kill it or after they swap pets. Interrupts (dazes/stuns/etc) don’t stop the pet from completely healing the Ranger when he’s downed. Unless you have a couple glass cannon builds on him you won’t kill him.
Is it game breaking? No, I just stay out of the water when the enemy team has a Ranger down there. However, it is very annoying and makes this already hated map even more of an annoyance to play on. I’m sure it affects WvW also, but in less of a degree.

Balanced was made to handle everything. It was like playing part rock part scissors part paper at the same time. But individually each player’s build was highly specialized.

Maps have had several imbalance points on them which kind of makes the side you start on a little important. Similar things can be found on Foefire and Forrest and Khylo.

The counter is use less boons, then you will take less damage. There aren’t many counters to boons in this game outside of necros.

I don’t think 100 blades is in a bad spot per say. IMO, I think frenzy needs a buff. ATM no other GC has to suffer so much damage to deal the damage. Frenzy imo is another counter intuitive skill. What I mean is you are taking 150% damage to deal approximately 200% damage. When you think about it like that, it is an odd concept. Gw1 frenzy needed the balance because else you could just sit in it with a backline holding you up. But in case of GW2, there is no “backline” support and for the most part you are your own support. I think a reduction to 33% more damage or reworking to just losing some adrenaline or all of your endurance for example would accomplish the same thing.
point 2. Those who gain maximum benefit from using frenzy are generally the more glassy characters. From that point they already take more damage due to less toughness so it is like double punishment for building offensively. Damage from lower toughness and damage from doing more damage.

I noticed in one of the recent patches it was made that party members would disappear from the top corner list if they were too far away from you. This did not happen before say maybe 2 months ago. I imagine the two are related.
Glass cannon battles should be equal because you are both about the same thing. IMO, you don’t see many engis because the concept is harder. 100 blades burst was one of the first builds streamed and posted about since bwe and its well known. If it were 100 nades, we would have seen the same effect. Only a few people I know play engi, so you would naturally see less in competitive scene.
Example on EU, the main engi, Teldo, is he running burst? If you saw that maybe it would be more common. Players are very impressionable. It is why every war you see is like 90% chance they at 100 blades. Impression it is the only thing that works.
Comment on burst potential, the most I have ever done with 100 blades only is 20k on a glass mesmer. I have been taken from full health by a 100 nades while on my glass war total of 22k health. Max potential of both builds is close and should be. Just thing nades are a little more instant and scary. A flurry 100 blades is slow and there is reaction time.

The depth is now you want to save it for when it really matters. Honestly in the current state, there is minimal depth across the game. Players spam skills on cd and there is no drawback to that play style. Now you might say, hey I can get more damage if condition x is true. Then I will save this skill for when it should actually be used. It makes that skill’s play more defined because it is now conditionally better if you play it better.
And my point before was maybe might would over power the rest of the bar, so they avoided that route. Take ele for example, a lot of its combos can give like a might stack or 3 in random combinations. People figured out how to maximize the might and now you have eles getting double digit might stacks, meaning they can have the same power as someone who builds for offense while actually building into defense. Not much “skill” in this type of play.
tldr: flat might is a more lazy fix than single skill damage boast and can spiral out of control. Might would power entire weapon set, not just a weaker skill on the set.
From my experience, I die most to splash damage and not when I am actually being focused. I feel like I don’t realize the aoe when I am not the main target.
