Just make two of a class with different builds are swap as necessary.
Granted every ele does not do the cookie cutter rotation but I find it hard to believe an ele would go earth after fire, especially if you are pressuring them. They would not be able to recover.
The key is that most of its burst comes from fire set. Most of its dps is from earth set. Most of its control is from air set. Most of its healing is from Water set.
Most D/D cycle air/fire/water/earth
Let’s break down why. Air allows them to set up major fire burst with the blow back and blind control. Upon fire swap, damage is expected.
Few rule of thumbs, burning does a lot of damage and ele burns last for significant amounts of time, a silent killer. Avoid crossing the fire lines directly, like static field, you will not burn if you do not cross the circle edge.
Keys here are that eles are very squishy in fire, this is when you take advantage. Force them into water magic to defend themselves. After water comes earth and the protection comes with the earth swap. At this time, most eles are back at full health. Condi removal is important vs this attun if you have it because bleeds are another silent killer. The key for earth is to burst after the protection ends.
Knowing how to adapt to their common rotation will make the match easier for you. My suggestion is when they hit fire use your hammer for the control stuns. This will force your opponent to break fire or break stuns with their save button. Save your axe/mace control for when they enter earth. There you can punish.

Only if the Mending pulls the poison. It may pull other conditions in poison’s place. There is no published hierarchy of condition removal
Would need more information to diagnose the issue. pve, wvw, spvp are you under any food buffs etc. 2k health is about 200 vitality points, so check your hero screen and see if you have +200 next to vitality next time you notice the increased health.

I appreciate feedback, but the stun from shield bash is only 1 second long. By the time your into HB I don’t think you’d be getting 9 hits off during the stun. It’s a bit hard to test.
100lbs with frenzy is fully executable after a shield bash, if your shield has the +15% stun duration sigil attached.
My point was though that the number of crits could only be justified by a near 100% crit chance.
I like the fact that players yell out slogans of effects like, “I feel stronger” signifying might or “Swift as a centaur” for swiftness, but in a team fight, these things appear to be turned down. I really only notice them out of combat.
Want to support this thread as I saw the build in action on Khylo. I was impressed.
Never thought I would see this day. Once Schwahrheit taught me the 100 to 0, I felt like bosses needed a buff. It can be done with practically any combo as shown in his vid.

I am pretty sure you can’t kill the berserker during his initial whirl either. It is like how thief whirlwind axe used to have evade on it but the warrior one did not.

Hi,
When I attempt to open the game client using both my shortcut and the main icon, I get a serious error box that pops up attempting to send an error report to Arena Net. Not sure what is causing this issue. Happened 3 times in a row. I restarted my system and it was still happening. I restarted again and I was able to open the game client and log on. Not sure what that was all about but wanted to bring it up.

Starting today, I have been getting serious lag spikes in sPvP specifically on the Legacy of the Foefire map. I was doing a free tourney and also did hot joins. This problem only seems to happen on this map. My fps monitor is showing high frames and my internet connection is unstressed at the moment. No problems on any other map.
Freezing in place while characters run in straight lines. Sometimes for 5 seconds at a time.

Hi,
Have heard so many mix reviews on how these sigils interact with each other. For example running 2 sigils of paralyzation seems to have shorter stun duration than running just 1 sigil. Almost as if they cancel out.
I am just looking for an official review on whether they are cumulative, only 1 applies, or even in rare case that they actually cancel out.

I have had it happen after certain immobilizes like the mesmer one or the ranger one. where the condition was off of me, but I was unable to move out of place.
I think this is known as the immobilize bug.
Some classes having 4 f mechanics while others have 1 seems to be the root of the issue here.

Its a more damage more time issue with TC vs using C and DC. Therefore C DC seems more favorable because I can get in 3 hits with less time.
From damage POV weakness on my 50%crit roamer war is prolly the least of my worries. mathematically is x base damage average dps would be (x/2 + x*2 )/2 = 1.25x division signifies weakness on normal hit and multiplication signifies critical damage on hit. Without weakness, avg dps would be (x + 2x)/2 = 1.5x
So in effect I lose about 20% of my dps (1.5x/1.25x) with weakness
However without vigor source, cutting dodge regeneration is brutal since I rely on dodging with low toughness. It would be a general nerf to survival to buff weakness. The change would have to be to the sigil and the sigil only.
Honestly, stealth rezzing is more OP than stealth stomping.

Well if I remember correctly, the warrior 100lbs eviscerate is about 7 actions and people consider that instant. Plus all the shattering happens within the same span of 100lbs like 4 seconds. Its practically instant considering a ~30-40sec average battle time.

Dodging reduces more damage than anything else in this game, and not only bunkers use these sigils. 35% would require like 2 extra seconds before they could dodge I guess.

When someone writes after 4 -5 months of game play that something is not viable because top teams do not do it, I have to stop right there. Because honestly how long ago was it that necros were not even seeing play time of this magnitude.
Point is everyday people are discovering this game. I will agree that there are some “bad builds” but every build in this game is not discovered or fully utilized. We are still in the discovery phase.
Its like they originally gave you candy for dinner everyday, and now they took it away because you weren’t supposed to have it. Now people are complaining because they liked the treats.

Your staff build has a role, and playing the build out of context will make it seem weak of course.

He said in 15 seconds without taking damage. You won’t kill chieftain with just the endure pain. You would have to equip a ranged weapon in your 2nd weapon set, and whirlwind out of range once hb is done, then ranged fight him to take no damage. Never tested myself if that would be 15 secs or less, since i don’t use rifles in sPvP, but probably would. I don’t know how any of that is related to skill though. Fighting an NPC is always easier than fighting another person.
Signet of Rage+Healing surge (for full adre, but isn’t really needed)->Bladetrail->dodge chieftain axe->whirlwind->frenzy+bull’s charge for KD->100b->swap to axe+shield->shield bash->eviscerate=Done.
No skill needed for this and you don’t need a ranged weapon. Trials against live persons would be better indeed.
That aside, will be looking forward to videos and your progress in this.
That combo doesn’t finish the job. although close you still need a few more hits in there.
My gripe is the blocking being bypassed by several skills. Multiple things will knock you out of the block, I wish it was invulnerability honestly.
I have tons of hours and matches played on warrior. We do have a few niches in tpvp seen. Some of the top teams run warriors pretty often. We are not a broken class, just eclipsed in some areas. And from the sound of AN, conditions will always just be our weakness.
I agree warrior and oh crap button do not go in the same sentence, but we have a lot of cool things going. Few examples:
Damage on dodge rolls and full uptime vigor. Possible and dodging mitigates much more than toughness and other skills.
movement breaks immobilize- very strong.
gs whirlwind attack. 8 second cd 2 sec invulnerability that breaks imobo and deals decent damage
mace stun every 10 seconds
Those are a few of my favorites but we are fully capable of contributing to a team fight.
