I think you misunderstand the FA philosophy when you say stuff like this. Kain can recruit whoever and whenever they want. That’s not a question. And we will fight whoever and whenever they are on.

But it puts Kain in a funny spot. You treat them like children when they are not. And then when a players suggest its given some time, they get attacked for even speaking.

Come on guys and gals. You can’t control everything and not get called out for acting like a sow.

Yeah my sentiments are that these guys had nothing but great things to say about TC when we needed bodies. I like them and respect them a great deal .. and as you can see by multiple TC players here, they feel the same way. Kain are great people in my books.

I adore these folks. They have been incredible to fight in WvW and it’s been fun actually making some new friends in game. They are hardcore WvW, with a pinch of silly (they have a great sense of humour, you should hear their karoake! haha!).

Tier 2 is currently one of the better tiers in the entire game. We are all highly competitive, and our matches are often within 30K from first to third spot. If you are tired of the nonstop toxicity of tier1, or you want to become more invested in WvW and learn from the best, please consider Kaineng. If they get a few more in their NA timezone, then Tier 2 will continue to remain competitive fun for all servers involved.

You really can’t go wrong giving them a try. Transfer today!

We all love this tier and a large part of that is because of the three server involved. I do not believe the situation in Kaineng is all doom and gloom but there are some valid concerns bought up by a few Kaineng players, primarily the lack of NA and not having a large enough PVE population to draw players in from.

Instead of just worrying about it lets do something about it then. Lets help Kaineng recruit by bumping their thread by sharing our positive thoughts and opinions on Kaineng. I know TC got a lot of love from Kaineng and BG players alike to make our recruitment thread be very effective in recruiting individual players and small guilds. Lets do the same for them. I urge FA players to do the same.

Soon others jump in saying what they like about the server, and then more join in … and eventually the troll just gives up and goes away

Never underestimate the power of positivity! Flip his negative with a positive .. it boosts morale for your server and frustrates the troll.

Another way to drown him out is to start doing wvw tips in /map chat … asking others to chime in and add what they know. It educates your map for those new to WvW and drowns out the troll. Win-win.

The problem with that guy is, it is different LOL cause he is here just to annoy us really he doesn’t care what we do even if it was perfect he will still do his thing. For example someone asked if he should order the next upgrade in SM while we had 0 supplies, I said wait till supplies build up to 700 cause we were having bad times and expecting an attack 700 would’ve been perfect cause we will see till that time if they are going to attempt to take stonemist or not and if it happened we have 700 supplies to use . What he did is he ignored the whole thing and trolled the 700 part cause its a random number and kept trying to annoy me which he does with each person in ET. Whenever a commander steps he says " you are as bad as the 10 commanders who commanded before you." and keeps going on and on and on it never ends it is what he is here for that’s his job. Everyone in ET is irritated and we keep reporting.

I know it looks like a subject that is not THAT important cause there will be trolls everywhere BUT what should we do if someone took it as his main role? we all know its hard to stop fights in map chats if there was someone trolling the map chat will just be fired up and heated and as I mentioned its BAD for new comers who wanted to try WvW and something needs to be done about such behaviors.

I am here to speak for a whole server, not myself FYI.

I’d like to believe what you’re saying, Jayne, but Shanks is right. The troll is certainly not the type to just give up quite so easily, and one of the things he does, if he can’t manage to insult the entire server, is just insult one or two people in particular. It really bugs me, and I feel sorry for whoever the troll suddenly decides to just rant on about for no good reason.

My guess is it’s because they haven’t made a clear mandate on how to handle this yet, so the CS guys can’t do much until an official decision is made. I think we’re starting to see movement on it though, so that’s a good thing.

As I said … the minute this guy starts talking, take control of the conversation by diverting it into something else. Don’t give him a chance to gain attention … it’s the “look! shiny object!” approach … that takes the attention away from the troll and puts focus on something positive instead. Give folks something else to talk about, besides what this guy is saying .. and then send a whisper to the guy asking the question about upgrades.

You can stop fights simply by giving folks something else to talk about, something key to your mission as a server, or even doing the /map wvw tips. Drown him out by not acknowledging anything he’s saying and instead talking over him about stuff that’s more important. The minute you acknowledge a troll, even by telling others to ignore him, his goal is complete. If you simply just ignore anything he says, and pretend like he’s not even there, talk over him, he loses power.

We have a nauseating hour of “go TC!” any time we get a guy like that on map. Everyone, almost on cue, pipes up about what they like best about TC and soon this troll’s words are lost in a sea of what makes us a fun and happy server. It works. Trust me.

This is the usual FA weekend.

what do you mean “usual” ? this is the first time ive seen it like this.

Naw. Except for the past two weeks, FA has always been very very strong out the gates. They even had the lead after the weekend during the BG/TC/FA match.

I’ve seen some players with a partial bug like that. You try to rev and it stops the process. Spamming the F button seems to be a work around.

Want to say kudos all the Kain leadership for all the genuine compliments, done with class, and only making your server look like the fantastic people you are —- both on the forums and in game. Other servers out there could learn by your example. You are a credit to your server.

That said, we all know when Kain gets motivated almost nothing can stop them. Next week should prove an interesting match.

Just wanted to drop a short post to say I think you’re lovely for trying to organize such a selfless thing. Props to you.

I typically let the npcs agro the mobs first … When I tried to do first damage I wound up agroing the entire zone. As each npc went down, I’d rez them.

I also did most of my storyline on my ele after I was several levels above it. Focus + earth stance helped a ton for rezzing/survivability.

Make sure the talisman isn’t higher level than the gear you’re trying to put it on.

For example, a level 35 rune cannot go on gear that’s level 34.

Both the previous posts do make sense But i do see in open field where TC and Kaineng see each other, and completely ignore each other. It is also rumored that TC will breach an objective and leave it for kaineng to take, so at times it seems like double- teaming. Just stating what I see :P

The last 2 posts are completely logical

Last week I trebbed Bay on TCBL over and over and watched as both FA and Kain took turns flipping it. It was entertaining. That open wall was very tempting, too tempting, and it was predictable that one team or the other wouldn’t be able to resist its siren call. Our team, meanwhile, had no interest in Bay during that particular time frame, so it was an easy way to keep the KN and FA zergs occupied while we did other stuff.

So yep, I breached Bay wall last week so Kain would go contest it. But I later breached it again so FA could contest it.

Go here, with screenshots (I recommend uploading them to a site like photobucket.com and just putting links to the images in the petition), and write up a report with as many details as possible and submit it here:

And system has liquid cool, not the card. I taught myself how to build pcs from the motherboard up a long time ago, but that was before the whole LC stuff … The rig I have now is store bought.

I’ll put in a new card tomorrow and see how it goes.

I have no idea if you had a Radeon HD 6970, how yours would melt due to the culling being removed. I have a GTX 480 with stock cooling, and OCed for stock specs. Your card is only 2 steps below mine in benchmarks. I run on all high/ultra settings with FPS from 50-80 at all times and my card barely reaches over 70 degrees, and its a card KNOWN to run hot. Sounds more like something was wrong with your card in general, or your cooling failed to me.

Yeah it was a beautiful card, ergo the (semi-serious) mourning. I could run pve on high settings flawlessly. I always reduced the settings when I went into WvW just to be “safe” lol. Oy. My best guess is that I was in there too long (12 hour days typically), with too many massive zergs and the card said “ack, sputter, kaboom.”

I am probably going to get a 660 next, but now I’m afraid to WvW lol. And no, I didn’t OC.
