We’ve been trying really hard to wrangle our forum warriors all week, but at the end of the day, nobody controls anyone. We’re all adults here. I just wish folks would see that it takes a heck of a lot more energy to be angry than it does to be happy. And happiness is infectious. As is anger. The choice really is up to you on what you want to see grow.
In our convos Zav, it was mostly goofy stuff. You’d taunt me about Mags taking SM and I’d reply that I was off to craft in your garrison (sadly I forgot there were no crafting tables there, lol). I like talking to the enemy because it lets me see that what is sometimes portrayed on the forum isn’t exactly how it’s like in game, or in real life (personality-wise).
My only agenda is to bake cookies, hug people, and try to put the best fight I possibly can.
It’s either cookies guys or I wander around hugging you each time you post something cranky. Your choice.
Any hugs or cookies must be accompanied by a warm cup of tears.
I take my tears chilled to a nice 33.6 Degrees F, shaken with a touch of vermouth, an ounce of Gin and an olive. Its the only civilized way to drink tears.

T2 is going to be BG vs SoR rivalry once again, but it’ll be TC vs FA heating up the Forums this time along with the battlefield, all the while Kaineng would be appalled to see TC’s face when coming face to face with FA. As much as I like boasting about TC’s awesome Forum community, it’s going to get heated with FA here, haha! FA knows how to show their Anti-Carebear face the right way, unlike Maguu.
I’m kinda hoping we can use WvW to beat on each other with a mallet, and come back here to crack a few beer and relax and enjoy each other’s company.
If I were you, I’d drop the sense of entitlement to 1st place and focus on strengthening our weaknesses via proper recruitment. :/ For now, BG can’t beat JQ. Hard fact. They got the top spot fair and square. Us BG don’t have any excuse aside from the fact that we need better coverage (particularly Euro) – simple as that. Just sayin.

I think it was you saying BG lacked euro presence, when that is pretty much a very solid core for them …. HB comes to mind. It just shows a lack of understanding of the server and potentially insults your teammates.
Then they are simply being complacent if they believe BG’s coverage is that great. It is lacking in some parts and JQ outclasses them in this area. You shouldn’t judge a server by a one-day observation, specially today. They were certainly kicking kittenbutt earlier in the match. I think people are just trying to get some rest and not overplay/burn out. It has been a great week considering we kept the score extremely close.

Actually people/guilds moved from SoS to BG over the last few weeks. So its not like the original BG members fought their way back in some heroic fashion. They just acquired better players which still wont be good enough to beat JQ

To their credit, they stuck together and fought their way back up to t1 again. Very impressive in light of the number of other servers that have fallen from t1 only to see all their major pvp guilds quit and run off to another server.

So we had our honeymoon, we had polite conversation, and then we reached the point where we were pointing out each other’s flaws while throwing things at each other…
I think our servers’ long term relationship has reached the point where we just quietly accept each other, sit down, silently eat breakfast as we read the newspapers, and generally just tolerate each other, since the divorce would be too messy and really, things aren’t that bad…

Aw, I was hoping for you guys. And yeah I didn’t mean you’d be green server next week, just that typically it’s very hard to go from third spot to first in any match, let alone Tier 1.
Is there an official fight club scheduled for tonight? Some TC told me they usually do one on thursdays.
If it happens, it’s usually at the windmill on TCBL .. but sometimes it changes maps .. always same spot at windmill tho. I know the guy who usually organizes it is busy with school, but maybe he’ll post something here .. and it’s usually from I think 5pm (EST) onward, until the doly parade.

I wanted to thank DB for all the fights this week. We still aren’t in the clear to go up to T2, but your gameplay really made the week enjoyable for me, and others on TC too.
Mags folks, over the course of this week I’ve grown fond of you. Some of your forum warriors, once the rough edges were worn down a bit, are quite funny and delightful. You have a strong morning EST crew, they held us off in hills over and over — so many deaths.
There’s something good to be said about all servers in this tier. May your fights be fruitful and may you always enjoy the game.

They all seem like a good bunch. I think you’ll enjoy playing them, if this comes to pass. They use some singularly unique strategy, like psychological mind tricks. It’s been making this week very interesting, at least for me.

I noticed I had trouble taking a supply camp this morning .. I have never had a problem before and have taken many supply camps by myselft— this time I was downed 2 times I was not sure if it was a mesmer nerf or the camp guys got a buff.
Camp supervisor now have buff which you can’t do any damage within 5 or 2? minutes now. I think anet don’t want solo activities on camp and quggan island now.
Four minutes I believe. If you target the guild claimer npc in the camp and he has the righteous indignation buff on (takes four minutes after a camp is flipped to go away) … He’s literally impossible to solo … Heck, a zerg of 20 will have trouble …..
I think all the funny and good looking people in this thread should move to TC … And then when we hit number one in Tier 1, we can all laugh and laugh and laugh that an RP server kicked the kitten (yes, I typed the word kitten) out of everyone else.
Plus we’ll be good looking doing it. We can even make a calendar … The babes of TC (TC has a high ratio of female wvw players fellahs, *wink … They’re tough tho, they’ve probably already killed a good number of you — sorry, I told them you had a great pair of shoes) …. Or TCs man candy of WvW.

As someone once said, I forget who, match threads are kind of like going out for a beer after the game and unwinding with friends — even if you happened to beat their pants off earlier.
I don’t know if any of you recognize it, but this thread is a million times better than the tier 1 thread the week before, even with some grumbly types still in here.
Oh Nyari how you wound me, as I am the idiot commander that didn’t think of just hitting the trebs with AOE. I groaned on mumble when I saw that tree champ at Speldan, as I knew I had just lost control of my group for the next 10 minutes. Fun night though, pleasure fighting with you.
It’s all good I pointed it out to you at the time, and you recognised the mistake. Being tired does that to you.
As for the tree, it’s very difficult to get people to leave it alone unless they’re regular WvWers (which isn’t the case while we’re green). It’s great defensive tactics to drag it to Speld to slow down enemy zergs, another thing Mags did well.

I think the most hilarious thing we ever did in Tier 2 was drag Lord Grub over to the tower that (was it BG or KN?) were attacking and stood back and watched the chaos. I didn’t do it myself, but I heard about it, and it was legendary
