its nots just bs or their server. I mean it happens on all the servers no doubt including hod where a killer just roams around picking off green arrows cause they cant/wont fight back. But when you get a guild formed around that concept and pretend that’s what real pvp is its kinda hard to respect reguardless of any normal wvw you do solo or group based. ive seen guild groups break open a tower and down the lord and not cap to draw people in. its hilarious and that doesn’t bother me one bit.

I generally don’t kill uplvl ,but i fill some hod are rolling uplvls because they are winning by alot so on that note i try and kill any hod i come across.

The rules are simple: It’s red, it dies, right? People can’t simply come and complain their uplevel got rolled if they are playing a uplevel in WvW in the first place…

I laughed when I saw the “stack and pop mights/stability groups” cause BS is very unorganized, we’re not like other groups that ball up, atk, back off, stack fields, repeat. We just run in and atk who we want, and call out low targets.

As for an early post about going SPvP or TPvP, I just can’t do it, I don’t like the 3 point capture game mode, now if it was like a team death match, or just 1 point that moved spots every few mins, then I would probably consider it over wvw, since wvw is usually get zerged, zerg a player or find no action. In cases there’s no action we flip camps/towers hoping it’ll draw attention.

Ah yes, that part was directed to the big zerg guilds who do it constantly… Zerg fights end up being two balls doing that back and forth while under siege fire/cover.

However you guys use PvP oriented builds (at least for 1v1) and know how to kill, which most people that run around do not. I for example, ran a group suport build and would just get mowed down on 1v1. There are also people who are too lazy to change builds and simply run at WvW with their PvE build trying to actually kill somenthing. So, I can say you guys are in a higher level than the majority of the WvW population.

My post was only intented to say that it’s somewhat hard to find groups like BS, which go mostly for fights (and even take stuff in order to draw fights to them). And that most people that actually decide to engage BS are the random peeps or the monstrous zerg (because there aren’t many groups small-scale oriented).

Yes, we are making sure all of our newer players take a look at that. SM is not the key to winning these matchups. Most of the time it just drains forces that are needed to hold other structures that ultimately get your more PPT than holding SM.

Plus, all those neat achievements, etc.

87.5% of the servers that controled SMC won their matchup. What happened there was lack of raw numbers for DH take advantage of controlling SMC.

If you can control SMC and have forces to actually push everything that SMC can cover, you’re getting free 65ppt (plus the 35 SMC worth).

I like the league WvW system thus far. My only gripe is that the league system forces us to play toward PPT maximization. I like variety in WvW gameplay. Sometimes I want to do pointless stupid non-PPT focused things while in WvW. Those Crimson Moa’s need to be spawn camped out side of EBG Overlook with trebs, balistas, and arrow carts at times. All Crimson Moas Must Die. The PPT grind gets old after a while. So far it hasn’t been an issue, but this league season is pretty long.

As usual DH forms a zerg during 10pm-12midnight SEA prime time and is solely focused on hitting ET. Then some people made the wrong choices that costs us all our upgraded keeps and towers. Being out manned in all maps those times we can’t afford playing around so we lost pretty much everything. Keep working as a team ET!! We are always out manned that is why we focus solely on good coordination and strong defenses. It looks like fight for 1st place is solely fading away since basically DH and ET takes advantage of each others weakness instead of focus firing SF during their weak times.

Meh WvW is for pvp not jumping. You really cant get mad at people for setting a trap for people just trying to get AP.

Hmmm. Let’s think about this.

They put a jumping puzzle in WvW. They made achievements for all four jumping puzzles in WvW.

Doesn’t matter if WvW is for pvp, you can get mad at people for being kittens in JPs. Not just people though, SF have always been camping out in JPs looking for easy kills.

They also put in an achievement for kills in WvW, and the jumping puzzle is going to be a great place to farm easy kills. The jumping puzzles were put in WvW to let people have fun trying to get off while there were literally live forces at work against you. ANet PURPOSEFULLY allowed pvp in the WvW jumping puzzles to make it more fun. Don’t get mad at people for playing the game the way ANet designed it

Sorry, I can’t hear you over all the bullkitten spewing out of your mouth.

It’s called being considerate. Especially considering there are PvE people in there who aren’t familiar with WvW and look to other people for help. I know there’s an achievements for kills. I’m active in both WvW and PvE and the only time I’ve ever attacked anyone in a WvW JP is when I was attacked first. For the most part, people are nice in WvW JPs. The only server I’ve ever seen attack people in a JP is (whoa, big shocker) SF.

Bottom line – it’s being considerate. And FYI? Jumping puzzles aren’t exactly easy. So to attack people while they’re trying to do it is just you being an kitten. Stop trying to defend your actions.

#1: I’m from ET. Read before you post angrily
#2: If a person parties me and asks politely to go because they just want the achievement I’ll let them go
#3: If I’m attacked I will fight back. If I die more than once I will call friends. If I still die I will wait half an hour and come back. None of these require complaining on the forums, and is much more productive.
#4: Who ever said I was trying to defend my actions? I never camp jumping puzzles. You’d know that if you actually paid attention to anything I said and read my post.
#5: Yes, for the most part people are nice, but that doesn’t change the fact that the jumping puzzles were put in there for the reasons I stated. Some people actually find it fun to try to get past jp campers. Like I said before, which you apparently didn’t read: there’s a reason ANet allowed fighting in the WvW jumping puzzles, and why after a year after a bunch of people like you complaining, there’s still fighting allowed in there.
#6: If you don’t like people camping the jumping puzzles, DON’T DO THEM. You think it’s a requirement to do them? If you don’t like a part of the game just don’t do it.
#7: Just because you’re getting your kills one way, it doesn’t mean everyone else should get them that way too. Some people don’t like zerging, which is the fastest way to get kills. So instead they take easy kills in the jp.
#8: The WvW jumping puzzles aren’t actually that hard. If you really want the achievement and can’t get it by yourself cause of campers, I’ll port you up. But seriously, stop complaining because people are playing the game the way it was designed.

How many people does CoSA have in its wings, branches, cabinets, sub-committees, and special boards? Sapphire, SoCo, Shiny, Slaphappy, kittenty, and what other S’s I am forgetting about. kitten has to operate like the Federal Gubbamint with all those people. Honestly the only tag I worry about on SF is CoSA and its because I know a whole bureaucracy full is bound to show up any time with its inane rules, special sub-section 6.1.3.a of master record 32 FTW, and gum up the whole works to the point you forgot why you even went to that objective. Even with the full bureaucracy full of people I don’t think I have seen them run as a guild only group, its always with PUGS like foreign indignitaries, Japanese pop stars, former North Korean Leaders, and last time I swear I saw Fidel Castro up in that mega-blob. With that many people its hard to tell who is naughty or nice in amongst their ranks, its just seas of red. Ohhhh well I guess its great I don’t have a conscious I like taking advantage of that lumbering bureaucracy and make away with stacks and stacks of bags.

If I recall right, it’s 3 guilds… Sapphire, Scarlet and ‘Somenthing-I-Can’t-Spell’. So I’d assume it’s between 1000-1500. But i doubt they have 10% of that actually playing WvW at same time.

I’ve yet to judge a sever based on the actions of one guild before, but this is really low.

JP used to be camped, when they were worth badges and siege was ‘pricey’… When it lost its purpose, the campers lost their purpose aswell…

Now Anet have made achievments for the league meta that need you to jump all 4 JPs. So the campers got again another purpose.

We’ll be seeing rivers of QQ over jump puzzle campers, during the league. And this, is only the beginning.
