They have been multiple threads with solutions to this….Can we get a dev response or at least acknowledgment that this is an issue for some?

Should we take this comment from the dev as an insult or just their stupidity?

That’s what they think though. Its freaking sad.

There are far better methods of making a game casual friendly than making it stupidly easy, and destroying any form of skill ceiling.

Its still so insulting that they don’t think new players can use new skills. Lets all just be pure rng, that teaches new players every skill they need. And after the stuff he said about rangers they might as well completely get rid of engi and ele as they obviously don’t see us as possible professions.

Also if the devs think this about rangers I wonder how BADLY they play themselves.

I agree with Jumper, nxbonx your missing the point. In SOTG they said rangers couldn’t take the extra skills becuz they wouldn’t be attractive to pve or new players. When super mentioned ele,engi they completely ignored it and said in pve they only used 1 attune/weapon set regardless. We all know they don’t care about skill ceiling only skill floor, or basically how easy for complete morons to play.

This game lost all hope of skillful play.

I may read the entire thread tomorrow but for now I am glad this thread exists. Lets keep to constructive ideas rolling.

Turrets really do needs some major love though. Like massive love.

I cant imagine any situation where they are useful, and its not just from bugs. They need a buff + bug fixes.

TG I seem to notice you posting about this in several threads. I also know you dislike your 200-300 ms ping. We are not talking about this. We are talking about compltely random 1-2 SECOND stops in game play which change order of skills/ make combo’s impossible. It isn’t on our side. It’s a-nets.

LOL This is one of the many qol issues that needs fixed. So funny, yet so annoying.

I posted the angle/firing issue in engi forums specifically about static discharge. Few few tool belt skills are even usable with that trait. In fact it’s been brought up in engi forums a lot.

Should a seperate thread be posted in spvp for all projectile firing? Would make stealth targeting viable for projectiles.

It isn’t fixed. Every time I bother trying it a major issue. One of the many QOL changes needed.

pvp won’t be playable until 5-6 quality of life changes are made. Balance isn’t my concern the ai, matchmaking, asura issue, lag, solo q, animations etc are.

What chest bug? Not receiving one? Who cares? I had a few hundred before still don’t need them, or care. I kept my rank and my 600k glory.

We saw more dev responses last 24-48 hours than I’ve seen any in 1 week period since launch. The spam threads got your attention. It made you finally realize how kitten ed people were.
Sigh.

updated. Also I refuse to spend time making it look nice/ go into details. If others wan to I will update and give you credit.

Simple list.

1:Fix matchmaking
2:Solo q LB fix (reset/delete)
3:fix this random lag
4:rewards
5:more often than once a month patches, with every other month destroying pvp.
devs actually responding daily (not fixed yet but today was an improvement)
6:bug fixes
7:Ai removal/toned down
8:spam fix
9:animations fix

Am I missing any?

1: top 50 against 200-800 is kittened. make it even!
2:solo q with our current matchmaking is pure luck. (skill yes but skill of your team > theirs)
3: for weeks now quite of few people are noticing lag. I am and I know its not my end.
4: um yea my 600k glory is lonely. Don’t even mention chests and I have 1000+ saved up + glory etc with EVERY item rank 50 and below. (with nearly every dye color as well)
5: A: this 2-3 month crap with horrid meta was silly. 2 week patches with minor changes. No more necro big patch.
B: We got more dev responses today than last month put together. Sad really. In fact I saw more dev posts today than any week since beta. Keep it up (wonder why they started…couldnt’t of been the spam posts :P)
6: still so many silly tool tips/broken skills traits and sigil/rune
7: Tone down the AI on ranger. Remove it. IDC but get rid of them relying on 4-5 AI every fight.
8: I am an engi. I still dislike nade spamming. Tis why I never ran hgh nades.
Necro/ranger/engi is spam redunkulous.
9: Helseth has gone over this plenty. Make major skills a unique animation get rid of minor skill animations.

And please actually give us a response/plans for these/ideas/etc. Ignoring helpful threads is silly.

Yea I’m only rank 51 and I’ve got 600k. The rank 60+ should/could have up to 1.5m or more if they never spent any.

This is getting old where people quit cause they don’t like skyhammer, game updates but gives you no warning so you cant enter your q, and better yet the all day broken gw yesterday.

LOL yea I completely forgot team arena was random too I just assumed it was temple for an entire day cause I got 8 in a row.

My entire guild PnF can verify that cuz I kittened each time it procc’d….

Random my kitten seems a few people have temple more often that not. Out of 6 maps 50 percent shouldn’t exist.

That is why I’m thinking of going to EU. Higher population means the matchmaking (hopefully) is far more even.

I played 11 matches over the course of a week or so.

Not a single one has within 300 points of each other. It was 500-200 every time or worse.

The one I lost was just the same.

ranked 8th and I got to say most of yolo q is luck. 11 matches of 300 point differences says something.

I don’t care for prime time as I play all day regardless.

As for the much higher standard that’s what I want. I am tired of this boring NA match ups.

Stop your whining condition warriors are weak and do next to no damage. Maybe in your 1v1 environment or without ANY team support you may eventually die to one. This is a complete L2P issue.

To all of you who don’t play engi commenting on elixirs is just silly.

Elixir R throw can be countered by a well timed reflect projectile. namely guardian shield.
CC the engi
poison (not great due to condition removal properties but the point is there)
cleave (this will prevent it almost always)
knock him out.
if he throws it below himself
a: cc him out.
b: wait till its gone. yes that is a nice technical invuln but see below
c: be prepared to cleave him. if you cant do above.

Yes I love my supply crate over any other elite by far. Hehe go engis!

If you complain about the cleave part most POWER builds are easily able to single-handedly out cleave it. Condition meta is damage over time. Much harder to cleave it out, re-apply poison constantly.

Haha Aero atm PnF (papa dock n friends) is the only reason holding me back atm from at least trying. I’d be sad not playing with you guys but considering the other threads ive been seeing about complete solo q kitten and matchmaking our population on NA is not enough. Shame pvp servers cant just be merged.

And will deleting all my characters and transferring reset LB rank or keep it but change to EU LB (abit a different one due to different scoring)

I did some forums searching and as far as I can tell I can switch from NA to EU just by deleting all characters ( I don’t pve or wvw so no issue), or pay gems.

Anyone else feeling like becuz EU is more competitive/higher pvp population this would actually be helpful?

I tried using the above to fix it all it did was remove black border. I believe this is an eyefinity/3 monitor issue.

I got a worse one lol every time I exit GW (alt tab windows key etc) when i change back my entire UI is gone. I have to change graphics settings twice to get them back. Worse yet I’ve had this happen in the middle of matches. Completely destroys me for 20-30 seconds.

Yes the passive play is a problem, yes condition meta is silly but instead of nerfing why not add team based removal.

No nerfs, no QQ’ing (well prolly will happen anyways) and promotes good play.

Look all these NERFS to condition based builds will hurt the game far worse than other solutions.

Remember all the complaints on when power builds were nerfed?

Just add removal. BUT NOT SELF. Team based. Team condition removal. Promotes team play and less of the mentality that “I can do everything”

Possible Options:
1: solider runes giving team based removal at higher level than 1 per.
2: more team based skill (don’t affect you, or only 1 condition from you but AOE for team)
3: combo fields giving better/more often removal
4: Maybe skills that instead of immunity give removal over time. SLOWLY. I am not sure how well this may work but it is a thought.

Reason why duration reduction won’t work.

Conditions “Tick” only on full seconds. Give people too much reduction suddenly they take far less damage and you ruin the other conditions, namely cripple, chill, immobile, etc.

Conditions are meant to be “Over Time”. Not for 2 seconds and disappear after doing no damage.

Reducing damage will just nerf all condition builds. Last I checked they didn’t nerf every power build at once.

Whirl + projectile have to hit the ally. Yes I want to use those but whirl in very short range and who shoots their own ally? More beneficial to hurt enemy over taking time to target ally.

But yea that’s why I think they should be single removals so as not to counter condition builds.
