Reading must be really hard for you. It has 15k HP, it also doesn’t have the +35% bonus stats from the armor. I highly doubt I’ll be seeing any 7k burn tickets in WvW or PVP. It also isn’t counting the WvW bonus HP you get as the week progresses lol..
If you’re talking about PVE, I’ll hear nothing of it because I care 0% about PVE.
As far as the Mace goes – it has never been a very good guardian weapon. Scepter is far superior.
I think Anet must be under new management. They’re listening and making a lot of good decisions that are making the players happy for a change.
You’re all having L2P problems.
Guardian is getting such an insane buff that it blows my mind that you’re complaining and thinking that it is going to be a dead class. If you look a little bit at the traits, you will see what you can even grab that 300 vitality trait now and gain heal on dodge and some other very nice things.
Maybe check that build and read through the traits before jumping to the conclusion that it is taking a nurf, it is getting buffed if you know how to build a character.
The armor is all the same as I currently run roaming in WvW, I used to run 5/2/6/0/1, but now that they changed the traits, I can now run the valor line instead since the 2nd line isn’t viable except for the one thing and the last line isn’t viable except its one thing. Essentially now its like running 6/0/6/6/0.. That is a buff.

I’ll start by saying that I am speaking from experience, I’ve driven pug groups, skill groups and roaming groups. I’ve tried doing it on every class and found out pretty quickly which ones were awful and which ones were usable. 1-4 are viable drivers, but none compare to the Guardian.
8. Thief – Not enough defense to jump in to fights without instantly melting.
7. Elementalist – Also not enough defense to jump in to fights without instantly melting. Plenty of defensive skills, but if you get focused by a ranger or two after blowing your cooldowns, there is no staying alive as an ele.
6. Mesmer – Also not enough defense to jump in to fights without instantly melting.
5. Engineer – Not too many defensives in the case of a condi bomb, they also don’t really have any great skills that would help with commanding. Best you can hope for is a really tank condi bomb build, which isn’t really useful in bigger groups.
4. Ranger – Rangers can be built to be very tank, they have plenty of defensives to last for awhile in the front line.
3. Necromancer – Thanks to Shroud, a big HP pool and plague form, they can generally outlive most classes if played right.
2. Warrior – While this is the most tank class, it is still not the best because Guardian has more defensives and healing abilities.
1. Guardian – This is number one for many reasons. Shelter heal, Renewed Focus, the Alteruistic Healing trait coupled with the staff Empower ability, any time you grant boons to allies you get heals, any time you dodge roll you get heals. Empowering might trait grants might to 5 near by allies every second if you crit, so that is about 500 HP being regenerated every couple seconds (if you built your guardian well.) The healing is the best in the game in bigger groups. Guardian is #1, no contest.

Easy to beat a longbow ranger. I started running wall of reflection on my roaming medi Guardian just to watch these fools wreck themselves lol. Watch them press 2 then down themselves, its hilarious.
I’ve transferred 7 times to ensure that I am in a tier that suits my fighting style. If you want to play a different style and want to transfer to a different tier, then just do it. The game is far from dead in the top 4 tiers.
Is there anything at all you people won’t complain about? I have 9 full ascended sets, at least one of every ascended weapon, typically 2-3 of some. I’ll have to adjust my armor to make way for the new changes too, but if you farmed as hard as I had to in order to get full ascended gear, then you best believe it better be like a 10% increase. If you don’t want to farm for ascended or fight people with it, go play PvP.
Awesome, ANet found one more way to lube up real good and screw the WvW players again.
So since you’re catering to PvE players once again in WvW and taking away things from the veteran WvW players once again, why not just make WvW all PvE? Don’t have to fight real people, we can just fight guards all day! <end sarcasm>
I’m rank 2145 in WvW personally. So to me, having 755 unused points that I can do NOTHING with, this is especially annoying. I earned my ranks by actually playing the game in WvW, I did so before EOTM even was a thing where everyone can achieve high ranks.
Your WvW player base was looking for improvements, not nerfs. This is not an “Upgrade” to WvW, this is a nerf to those of us who have spent a lot of time playing WvW and have even accounted for the Applied Fortitude and Applied Strength in to our builds. I’ve personally built all of my characters to have their ideal stats when they HAVE those buffs. So now, my characters become glassier and I either have to rethink my builds or try to deal with being able to take less hits. Not like you care since you’ll get more money from the players who don’t want to farm to fix their builds to make up for it.
I really hope the devs read this and actually put forth time to reply instead of just plugging their ears because our input is not actually what they want to hear. You screwed WvW when you went to the “mega server” idea, which hurt everyone trying to pull their PvE player base in to WvW, now you continue to hurt WvW and call it an upgrade? Give me a break.
I want another season badly. It would be nice to throw the NA T1 and T2 in to a 6 server rotation like EU has.
Transfer to a really stacked server like Fort Aspenwood, follow a commander tag around until you have everything you need in that map.

The servers with insanely higher scores than the other is going to be a more “stacked” server that is likely to own more things so that you can get the points you need.
I am running celestial armor and back item with zerker weapons and trinkets. I run d/d with that and it works well.
That awkward moment where Devs are getting more cool features than the player base in WvW.. :’(

Nothing is “locked”. NA T2 servers can’t consistently compete in T1 long enough to stay in T1.
SoR isn’t locked out of T1. It fell out of T1. And as X T D explained, it’s possible for a server such as them to rise back up again. Is it likely? Not any time soon, but certainly not due to them being “locked out”. TC took their place in T1, and not because TC “unlocked” anything.
Clearly you do not understand. Due to the way ANET has set the way the glicko effects the matchups, the three servers in t1 have a 100% chance to match up against each other and all of the T2 servers have 0% chance to match up against a t1 server. Like I said “Unlock NA Tier 1” – because there is no actual possibility for a T2 server to be in a T1 match up because of how ANET has set it up..
EU is looking much nicer since there is match up variety with t1 and t2 servers getting mixed around and fighting each other, so why is NA tier 1 locked? I’d love to see how some of the tier 2 servers do against the tier 1 servers.
Gunna be honest with you, 100% rep is a dead idea, if you require it, people aren’t going to join.

Points per Kill should be a permanent thing. Should have been from the start, objectives are not the only things that matter, especially since a lot of guilds have a full emphasis on being “Fights” guilds and don’t care about the PPT game.
As far as white swords being removed goes, I don’t really care. I think that will promote scouting but ultimately anger the majority of the WvW population.
I agree. Due to being Gold rank, I definitely notice getting focused harder. Its usually fine if I am on my warrior or guardian, but on my Necro that is full glass, that gets pretty annoying lol..
I’ve solod keeps on my warrior, guardian and Necro.. I am sure I could on a thief too.. Main advantage the thief has is he was probably hiding in there after it was capped by himself with stealth lol..
If you feel like fighting celestial eles and engineers is balanced then you have a strange idea of balanced. If the zerker amulet gave toughness instead of vitality I’d be all about it.
I’d rather have the ability to change 14 pieces of gear than be limited to builds. And for the guy who said its making up for the strengths and weaknesses of the player, you’re right but if EVERYONE can do that, what is the disadvantage to anyone who isnt an engineer or ele? Lol..
For example, my warrior runs a shout heal build with mostly zerker gear and a couple of pieces of Cavalier for some toughness. I win 1v1s very frequently in that set up and I’ve tried to use that build in PVP where I pretty much just have to go zerker with Melandru runes and I can’t fight anything at all lol.. It is just insane to me that I can rock people hard in WvW with this build then get wrecked in PVP with it lol. It isn’t a skill difference either, I’ve fought friends from other servers in WvW with no issues and then because I don’t run meta PvP builds, I can’t win in there lol…
Balance is the issue. There isn’t a good way to balance characters out when you’re fighting these OP cookie cutter meta builds. Some stuff just isn’t viable and there is hardly any good counters to these cookie cutter builds because there is no good way to customize your build enough.
So I don’t ever do PVP because there is no way to have a variation of gear set ups. The ability to mix my gear around instead of all one kind would take the skill to the next level. Theory crafting is a big deal and its the reason I’d rather duel in Obsiden Sanctum or in WvW. I’ve talked to a lot of people who feel the same. I’ve also worked hard in game to get full ascended gear for all of my characters which is also useless in PvP but helps in WvW…
I don’t do PVE stuff aside from taking camps and such in WvW, I’d love to get in to PVP but unless I can truely customize my gear set ups, I just can’t see the point. I’m not alone in this either, I’ve talked to a lot of WvW players who see this the exact same way.
Is any kind of customization going to be in the PVP future or should I not hold my breath?

I wish a dev would comment on that because it’s literally made me rage quit the game multiple times. Instead of trying to stop people from bitting limiting everyone else’s game play, how’s about banning those who are caught cheating and maybe getting more involved in game? 20 people report one got at the same time for teleport hacking and it’s ignored, but if I decide to clear my bank out and sell all my stuff once a week, it takes an hour for something that should like 2-3 minutes..

Well I’m from MAG. With FA’s back capping, dodging zergs to hit doors, constant running from fights, and overall PPT over fights mentality. I would hardly consider you to be an expert on warriors abilities to fight. Especially all while running around in full PTV. Trust me I know all about it. Too bad Mag imploded or I would still be on that server.
Not everyone zergs around, I roam solo or run with a 3-5 man group or run with oT that never attacks any doors.

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or if you’re really just not smart.
I main warrior and have for the majority of my time playing the game. I’ve said for a long time that it needed nerfed. Why you might ask? Let me give you a run down on my warriors stats.
In WvW with guard stacks and bloodlust stacks:
I have 3040 power, 3036 armor, 37% crit, 184% crit damage and 30k HP…
I’m running PTV armor with zerker trinkets and weapons and hoelbrak runes. My roaming build of 2/0/6/6/0 coupled with healing signet and shout heals grants me more sustain than any other class could DREAM of having. Also having over 3k power sets me dealing more damage than most people can do. My typical eviscerate on any opponent hits for 7k-10k.
I’m running Axe/Warhorn and Hammer for roaming. Condition clears with my warhorn = even more sustain. Merciless Hammer trait gives me 20% more damage to foes that are disabled in any way, so every time I drop my 3, 4, 5 or F1 skill with my hammer on them, I deal 20% more damage, all while still having 3k power WITHOUT might stacks.. I typically have a full up time of 10+ stacks of might even solo roaming thanks to how broken strength sigils are and FGJ and Signet of Rage..
With cleansing ire, my adrenaline bar pretty much stays full in combat, so I’m not worried about losing my adrenaline out of combat at all. Thats also adding to the sustain because every time I drop my F1, I clear 3 conditions. When my adrenaline is full, Adrenal Health gives me right around 400HP every 3 seconds, all while healing signet is giving me 380 every second. Thats roughly a 500HP regen per second, then go ahead and throw in using Dogged March, so you gain regeneration every time someone stuns, immobilized, chills or cripples you too?
Warrior is certainly too strong, no class has the sustain, capability to lock down, run away or deal damage in melee range. This patch will not kill the warrior, it will help balance it some more. Sadly enough, the “balance” still will leave warrior as a significantly stronger class than any of the other classes.
If you think that warrior has low sustain, you need to try out some other builds because you’re far from correct on it. I’ve got over 2000 hours logged on warrior and I know that these changes will not effect me in the slightest for my play style or my build.
I have 13 level 80s between my two accounts and two of them got effected by this new trait system and it truly is horrible. Playing my first warrior at level 6 in WvW was completely doable because it had access to important traits to keep it alive.
I just bought my girlfriend an account a few days ago and it’s like every class is completely useless until 80 thanks to this stupid trait system..
All I want to know is if the “Error attempting to sell.” is gone. I think I might lose my mind if I continue to see this after a patch addressing TP issues is released…
If they should remove anything its arrow carts.. The reason for something like a siege disabler would be to reduce the abuse of ACs to me.
Finally something I can spend some of my points on. It’s a hard life being over rank 1315 when there’s nothing left to put your points in to. I have over 300 points and nothing can be done with them lol.
Anyone complaining about this is most likely a siege hugging Yaks Bend scrub. This is one or the best updates I’ve see to WvW. It will make defending easier while you disable enemy rams or golem waiting for backup to arrive, it will also be nice to send a thief into an enemy group that flash built open field siege like the scum bag baddies they are. It will also be funny doing the same thing in EOTM since every fight is some idiots building 5 ACs… This will make it to where people have to learn to play a bit instead of it being siege wars all the time..

Ehh. I wanna really avoid t1 like the plague. During the season when Maguuma fought Blackgate, there were 8 blackgate people at a tower trying to build catas, me and one of my friends jumped on them and killed them all… 8 people… Thats depressing, we want a challenge at least lol.
So far we’re really interested in FA, I made a post on the FA forum to see what they think. We’re still open to other servers, one of the others we’ve had our eye on is Crystal Desert. I’d like to see how they preform against DR, but that looks like a t4 server that is solid in the tier, doesn’t look like they’re going to start falling anytime too soon.
Lol wild star looks like crap.
NSP is just too low in the tiers still, we’re trying to go to a more populated server for the fights, NSP would just put us right where we already are in BP.
A friend from Maguuma said he could probably ktrain and get donations for us to come back to Maguuma pretty easily. I’d still like to see my options a bit more first.
I’d like to try out FA possibly, I’d just have to figure out how to fund the transfers.
We really liked Maguuma until Dragonbrand kicked FA down a rank for the season, then we had to just deal with dragonbrand blobs 24/7 instead of having any roamers to fight. We loved the Mag/FA/SOS fights. I’d like going to FA or Maguuma, but I’m not too sure about SOS. I’ve been hearing that a lot of TC guilds are transferring to SOS and I don’t even want to potentially be in tier 1 at any point, which they might be going soon.
So my guild is looking around for a new home. We’re a hardcore WvW roaming group currently on Borlis Pass. I started the guild on Borlis Pass around a year or so ago then we transferred to Maguuma for 6 months or so. We ended up leaving mid season 2 to go back to Borlis Pass due to the season making tier 2 blob central, there was just no fun for roaming groups at that time.
At this point, Borlis Pass is falling rapidly down the ranks, which makes our lives very boring when we’re walking around for 15 minutes before we find any people to fight.. We want to go to a server where the roamers are plentiful and that still offers bigger skill groups that run 15-25 people. Almost all of my members run with bigger skill groups when XT isn’t running, so we’d want to know what guilds the servers have to offer for that as well. Some of us are interested in GvG guilds as well.
Our guild typically runs 2-5 people, we currently have 9 total people in the guild and most of us are real life friends that have been gaming together for 10+ years. Two of us play every class pretty regularly, we all have good build setups for both roaming, smaller groups and bigger group play.
We run our guild runs very randomly, if 2 or more of us are on, we just go start a run together (which is pretty frequent.) We also always run Midnight EST to 5AM EST runs every Friday and Saturday. We play for PPT between our fights, but like any hardcore WvW guild, fights come first. We’ll take anything, including keeps and have been known to build Omega’s and pvdoor whole maps in OCX time lol..
It may be a lot to ask, but we may need help with our transfer, only a couple of my people have the money to transfer currently, so any help is appreciated on that matter. We’ve already had one server offer to pay all of our transfers, but we don’t want to be in Tier 1, had enough of that during Season 2..
Ideally, we’d like to be in tier 2 or 4 because we’ve already fought all of those servers and we know that there are roaming fights to be had and plenty of larger skill groups that we could join and contribute to.

PLEASE FIX THIS CRAP… I’m serious, I understand the purpose behind it, but I hit deposit collectibles all day long until I am done for the day, then empty my bank out to sell everything and it literally takes an hour most of the time because the stupid system non stop throttles me after I sell 4 things. This has been an issue since I started playing the game, I’m sure TONS of people have complained about it. Really sick of it.
Please fix it, it literally makes me want to quit the game because of how long it takes just to sell my earnings for the day, its a job in itself.
The only thing I agree with is a GvG area. Not like OS, I mean an actually GvG area where the combat is disabled for anyone not in the combat arena and no one can enter the combat arena that is not part of the match. Something like that would be great.
All of your other ideas are dumb. People want variety, eliminating all servers would be suicide for the game.
Simple answer:
Play a warrior with melandru runes and the -40% condition duration food. Tada, condi’s are no longer a problem.
It would also help if you learn to play whatever class you are playing because every class has condition clearing skills.
I don’t play condi on any of my characters, but I can tell you that they do not need nurfed. My raw power necro has over 3000 power with stacks and does Life Blasts to most people for 5-13k.. THAT is broken lol.
Anyone else have luck transferring? I just want to make sure before I transfer my 2 accounts around.
