The difference is Marjory and Kasmeer act like people, Braham and Rox act like close friends.
Quaggans can be cute/adorable, but those two felt like they got forced into every update after the tower of nightmares and were so blatantly vocal about being in love it was annoying. Again, it was TOO much, too often. Marjory/Kasmmer and Braham/Rox are fine.
To compare, there is/was a quaggan couple in Fort Salma who talk about returning to the lake/asking how the male is. It’s “aww.. that’s sad
”, but far better done IMO.
A: Love.
B: As I recall, he agreed to become Jennah’s champion, and have a magical spell that’d compell/tell him when she is in danger.
C: If he didn’t save Jennah, then we may have never killed Zhaitan.
Also, the agreement is that Lion’s Arch is independent as long as the captain’s council is in charge.
If another group took over, then there would be a case. As it is… it’s entirely legal still.
Again, the orders are not under the command of ANYBODY. if they were, the races wouldn’t assign you to work alongside the orders and figure a plan out. The queen/legions/council would just go “Eh, do that guys plan and be done with it!”
Again, you fail to provide REASONS why ALL the other races would instantly work with Kryta over this. For one I can factually prove your statement as false because the Norn wouldn’t care, Knut’s word is law only in Hoelbrek.
The legions likely wouldn’t get involved. Arcane council I see just sitting aside. Sylvari wouldn’t get involved. The orders wouldn’t join forces for reasons I already posts. OoW and vigil would be against it as it’s actively working to split allied forces that could be against the dragons (and OoW’s thing is getting everybody allied, in whatever means possibly). Priory would have the historical proof to show that LA is entirely legal. Hell, again, even IF Jennah went crazy and tried pulling that, the ministry would block it and work against it. They would never send the military forces needed to take the city as opposed to having those guys fighting the centaurs back.
Vigil was formed by a random group of people… OoW predates every active nation on the surface ATM (meaning they were active before Asura surfaced, and before iron legion became the ‘head’ of the charr). Priory was founded by a neutral historian as I recall.
NONE are forced to obey any nation. MANY of their recruits are also people from all walks of life, a number with no military training at all.
Again, Jennah’s proof basically would instantly be countered with “The Krytan crown itself said this city was independent, with two different kings thinking that no less. They are entirely Legal.”
What is the undeniable proof that “LA is occupied by a rogue cartel of pirates, and the entire setup is illegal” because I think I’ve proven they are entirely legal to the viewpoint of Kryta.
Scarlet only showed signs of physical corruption AFTER dying. “Walking into a bar unnoticed” isn’t a trait dragon champions must have. Nor is it the aspect in question… which was “no dragon champion besides svanir is humanoid or close to it.” which isn’t true at all
.
A champion level minion is not the same thing as a Dragon Champion. They’re just minions with defiant and a bigger hit point pool.
No, but a number of named Risen in the personal story (some leveled at champion) behave exactly as dragon champions have been described as acting. Including every prince of Orr we’ve seen.
“dragon champions have only had one humanoid, being Svanir” is a false statement.
I’ll read the rest of your post shortly, responding to the bit replying to me with this one.
I’d say it’s more of a “Once they are up and running, the job specifically requiring your expertise is done, you can take a break(if you want) and let the others get their jobs done too.”
For now, Magnus is probably acting as a “head” of the council being the leader of the lionguard, getting tasks assigned and making sure the city is safe and secure. Or as we both said, it might just be a “Hey, you complete that, feel free to take a break for a bit.”
Hell, the various princes of Orr match the traits of a dragon champion, and they were all basically human risen.
Abominations beg to differ…
Of course, at least… two minions explicitly are very much like a living creatue. Bone fiend and flesh wurm. Devourer and wurm respectfully. Flesh golem, blood fiend, and the bone minions are more likely to be combined corpses.
Wrong.
There have been several risen dragon champions which looked… simply like risen/undead versions of themself. The captain of the dead ship in Sea of Sorrows book (as I’ve heard)… the Risen norn dragon champion in Edge of Destiny, the risen norn dragon champion from personal story (priory line, if you go with the wardens after claw island IIRC)…
Well, I’ll note that Kodan are 10 feet tall, and the tallest female norn is slightly taller then them.
Seems semi-right to me, as taller norn females still tower over humans or sylvari (even max height females of each). Of course, details/specifics may be off (Though honestly I think people seem to constantly edge their humans toward the top of the scale instead of the middle. Best to size off the NPCs IMO.
Scouts could deinfately be a major thing.
I mean, if you are traveling with a heavy caravan (whether weight in cargo crates, or weight in golems)…maybe protected with higher end golems (siege golems?) you may want a scout to ensure that rock bridge is strong enough to hold them. Or their passing won’t cause a rockslide, avalanche, or cave-in.
Also.. a number of ranger pets could easily hold asura on their backs. Drakes, bears for sure could have a saddle placed on them for asura size. Fully grown spiders, wolves, devourers, and pigs/boars may as well.
No need for a golem which you’ll have to recharge when you have an intelligent, trained drake carrying you around.
I don’t personally follow the belief Sylvari MUST have plant armor. They look fine in a number of outfits besides the plant armor.
Additionally. Its clear that some do not comprehend that the Pact Treaty is NOT just an agreement between The Orders of Tyria. The Orders would need the backing as in Financial, Equipment, Supplies, Munitions, Logistics – all the requirements of relevant Miltary and/or Intelligence organisation that operate on an international level – which all three do.
There is no logical way that the Order can operate independent of the political apparatus of the five major races of Tyria. I mean seriously! Does anyone actually believe that the five races would actually allow the operation of these three Orders without have an actual oversight arrangement? Really???
A: The orders are independant of the nations entirely. As in, the queen of Kryta or the imperator of the iron legion cannot order Vigil forces or Priory researchers to do a task.
B: The five races don’t have governments. Knut Whitebears power goes as far as Hoelbrek gates, and that’s it. Norn outside of Hoelbrek don’t have to listen to a word he says (but some may because he’s well respected.
C: The PACT may have some treaties with various nations/groups about funding or supplies, but the orders do not.
Do care to provide this irrefutable evidence that the other nations would openly accept Kryta screaming about LA being ruled illegally? IT was destroyed after all, and then the crown gave the council legitimacy and power by allowing them to remain independent. After LA was destroyed Kryta stopped controlling it.
(edited by Kalavier.1097)
Again your statements do not add anything to the discussion. It does prove that despite the FACT that I have proven beyond reasonable doubt that my understanding of fact events DO have FULL BACKING in Lore, you and others like you ignore it. As to my statements being essential formed on the basis of my personal “I SAY SO”. Seriously? Really are you actually serious and of sound mind when you wrote that?
Well, given how you believeed Vekk, Odgen, and Gwen experianced the events of nightfall firsthand and used that as a basis for “The dwarven legacy going to humanity because of the lore!”
The Orders of Tyria would make their own inquiries and form their own conclusions. The Order of Whispers would among other consult with Kryta’s Shining Blade organisation to assist with the confirmation of the facts of the political situation in Kryta as in regards to the legal status of Lion’s Arch and the claims of HRH Jennah.
Priory: "We have records from that timeframe. King Baede allowed the city to remain neutral, and his final order was that “Lion’s Arch must be kept sacrosanct so that the combined might of all the races can gather under one flag to fight Tyria’s greatest enemy: Orr.” Also that “Edair had agreed to submit to an independent Lion’s Arch, recognizing the city’s sovereignty as long as the Captain’s Council were in charge.” Kryta moving to retake the city is basically an act of war."
Vigil: “This conflict gains nothing but more death. We should focus on the ACTUAL problems, the remnants of Scarlet’s forces if they appear, but mainly the dragons!”
Order of whispers: “As the priory and vigil noted, this would only create conflict that is unneeded. Lion’s Arch was given independance by the crown, moving to retake the city is betraying that word.”
That is what I see being said about your proposed actions.
This along with their direct intelligence gathering would confirm the truth. Which is that the occupation of Lion’s Arch by the Captains Council is manifestly ILLEGAL.
So a city granted independance by a KING OF KRYTA, and allowed to be free of Kryta control by the king before then, for the purpose of being a place to combine the might of the races… is illegal? This is where you lose me. Jennah moving to conquer the city is legal, yet Edair saying they are independent is illegal?
This report by the Order of Whispers would then be tabled to the other two components of the Pact to establish the Orders view of the Sovereignty claims of both political entities.
You mean that LA has full sovereignty as an independent city as long as the captain’s council is in charge…
As for the Crown of Kryta moving on to annexation of Lion’s Arch -returning its former Capital City (yes it was the Capital of Kryta – pre-Orrian Catalysm) – it would have the full unqualified support of the Pact and further could be called upon to provide “resources” to restore order by all means deemed nessessary by the Crown on Kryta.
How? This is where you fail. You claim EVERYBODY would jump onboard Kryta retaking LA, but don’t explain why. The Pact didn’t even get involved with Scarlet’s assault, why would they bloody care if Kryta wanted to reclaim the city? (That is, pact leadership and heavy gear).
Since may I remind you that the five major races of Tyria are the actual patrons/backers of the Pact. The other four races would be bound to assist Humanity as a member of this Pact to assist in neutralising without mercy any and ALL opposition that may arise in the annexation of Lion’s Arch up to and including the port’s complete destruction.
May I remind you that the orders are actually independent, and we’ve seen NOTHING that implies the Pact can’t operate without backing of the nations. Again, I don’t see ANYBODY else coming to Aid Kryta, infact I see a number actually aiding LA for a number of reasons. Besides the fact such a move would leave entire chunks of Kryta completely open to attack and destruction from a more pressing threat (centaurs). Remember, scarlet took the city ONLY because of the Miasma (and partly the bombardment). She forced them to flee the city, and once the Miasma blew out, they retook the city within a day (or two possibly). Kryta doesn’t have that advantage. Besides the fact tyhe ministry explicitly wouldn’t get on board with it as it’d weaken DR and surrounding lands due to military forces being moved around.
Remember, these are the guys who argue over whether it’s feasible to send reinforcements to ASCALON SETTLEMENT, and almost wrote that “They should ask LA for aid.” because of concerns about numbers of troops at DR and elsewhere.
Kasha Blackblood: Why are you here? This is the land of ghosts.
That AND her tone of voice was MUCH friendlier/calmer then the other ghosts. Tone of voice can alter the context of a line, if she was more hostile in tone I’d believe it, but her tone and the wording weren’t openly hostile.
There is the lady in white in queensdale, who is unexplained.
Though I’ll note the ‘generals’ in AC storymode seem completely able to tell the living in their conversations. They mostly talk directly toward Rytlock, bar Kasha blackblood (the necromancer) who actually seems polite and willing to let them walk away/leave, until Rytlock yells “DISPATCH HER” and combat starts.
I still say that watery area could basically be anywhere. If Arah was entirely underwater as of that point… how would Livia get to it, much less into an area that isn’t completely underwater (cave or such), and that… well looks like a cave that could be anywhere :P
Who says it’s a rogue state? Who says ALL other groups would accept Kryta’s statement as such?
Again, good luck trying to convince the Centaurs that their treaty with LA (which protects the havens from centaur raids) that LA is a rogue state and they should just accept Kryta taking over it.
The charr and asura likely would not be thrilled at it. Other races and groups may become much more careful about bringing their trade to the city. It’s neutrality is a boon to everybody, a nation taking over it only harms the area.
Frankly, half your statements (to me) make no sense, and the other half come across as “This is how things went/should have went because I SAY SO. Not because actual canon/lore backing.”
Also, the ministry likely wouldn’t back any actions against LA because almost all their views on military deployment boil into “Secure DR first, then worry about the rest.” They wouldn’t back a military conquest of LA (because that’s what it’d take).
Other races wouldn’t agree. Sylvari likely would just want people to get along. Asura well, I have trouble gaging their reaction but I don’t see them playing along.
Norn and Charr likely would go something like “If they are traitors in reality, and there illegaly, then why don’t you go force them out?” and not actually pull any backing of LA or trade. Basically saying “Human, back your words. Actually do something about it.” Which again, as Baede said, to take LA you’d basically have to slaughter the entire lionguard, navy, AND most of the civilian population before they’d bend knee and surrender. As scarlet’s attack showed, they bounced back from that and retook their city. I doubt Kryta could afford an attack of similar scale (and most of the kills were caused by Miasma and airal bombardment, not combat) in the first place, let alone a followup if the city was taken back by lionguard.
Also, the orders of Tyria wouldn’t buy it and you’d likely see OoW playing politics to get enough ministry votes against it (or get other races to back LA to force Kryta to back off), Vigil reinforcing the city directly and probably Priory actually going through all the records and history proving LA is independent, and given such status by the crown of Kryta.
Likely to be partly the fact that almost all necromancers will be more comfortable around the deceased, and thus would have an easier time communicating with them while an average citizen may be scared or panicking if they see a ghost (would explain wy the dead lady only watches over the family farm, her children, and her husband when they are ALL asleep during the night, and during the day she disappears)
Oh. didn’t know that :P. Then again I never really dealt with that area of information. But like we both have said… much of LA relationships with other factions, nations, and races pretty much boil it into a neutral land. Kryta taking over could shatter a number of those making trade much harder, perhaps other nations starting to seperate from Kryta more and more (Such as Asura/Sylvari making their own neutrality pacts with the Centaurs to ensure their caravans are safe, distancing themselves from humans.)
Ascalon returning to pre-searing start would basically have to mean for ALL civilized cultures to leave the area for a long time to let the land heal fully. It’s healed a good bit, and iron legion do their part to help that (As seen in their oil cleaning actions in lakes and rivers)… but flame legion continue to scar the land.
Grawl maybe(and perhaps harpies) could be left there, but the other groups would have to leave and let nature do it’s thing.
I’ve tried to read everything in this thread, so I hope I didn’t miss this (or forget I read it over the past few days).
Has anyone considered the possibility that Anise is Livia daughter? They share some physical characteristics.
Definitely closer then “Anise is the actual queen” because she doesn’t match physical traits with Jennah.
Also, (to the other guy), in the end cutscene of EOTn, it showed Primordus’s Eye opening, moving, and (IIRC) the stones in the ceiling/his neck starting to fall down. It’s pretty obvious he was waking up in the scene, not ‘starting to stir.’
There is also a ghost in queensdale (west side, near a farmhouse during the night ONLY) who is fully aware, she asked Grenth to watch over her family and her farm and he let her.
Marjory likely simply talked to the boys ghost and any necromancer could’ve done it.
Sylvari I doubt can be turned into undead/minions, though if you wanted to be creepy you could stick bones into a sylvari corpse and animate the skeleton <_<.
Who said they call themselves a Sovereign state? last I checked it was an independent city (or a city-state), not a nation.
Also, again, LA has enough treaties with various groups Kryta trying to take out would likely harm Kryta and trade in general.
Do we know for a fact she ‘jammed’ the ley lines? It seemed to me like she just did something like blocking it briefly, then when the block was removed (IE, the pillar of light and the airship destabilizing) the power that went out went as one solid wave instead of a small stream.
Out of curiosity, since I wasn’t around back in the GW1 days: why do we think someone teleported the Scepter? I always assumed it was some sort of automatic safeguard. What would anyone have to gain by taking the Scepter just to put it back in Arah?
Glint’s vision (her head basically) appeared and warned the players to flee the volcano IIRC, and then after they run away the scepter is shown disappearing.
I forget where but I remember reading that glint ferried it to safety, but I can’t be sure if that was wiki or theory from these forums.
I’ll also note Glint teleported the scepter of Orr from the volcano… who says she teleported it to Arah and not somewhere else?
That’s Andrew, the barkeep/owner of the Tavern in the Salma District (The home instance for humans) Spawns no matter the character background IIRC.
It would be fun if Livia is still alive. If so, she hasn’t been showing up yet. She might have run off to cantha? Wasnt she last seen on a ship near Orr?
As for the scepter of orr, i didnt see any info of where it is now. The most logical explanation would be that the scepter is given to Livia’s successor as leader of the shining blade.
Or she’s behind the scenes, doing things without anybody noticing. Perhaps going after white mantle forces.
As for the scepter of Orr, it’s an ancient, super powerful artifact. If it’s still around, it’s either in a vault or with Livia.
To note, he’s also meaning with the ranger trait that causes the signet active bonuses to apply to you as well as your pet.
He’s talking activate them, then use bearform.
I assumed 50k included day to day travelers (merchants, adventerers, people using the city to reach another by gate), and 15k was total escaped civilian and lionguard.
I’ve heard the lionguard tasked to retake the traders forum numbered between 20+ to 100+, and most of them died in the battle.
(edited by Kalavier.1097)
I’m curious if there is anything offical, because during/around the battle updates (escape and battle combined when I say that) I heard something like “50k population of LA before the attack, 15k people escaped.” But I don’t recall a source.
Ingame recently I saw the end of the lionguard patrol dialogues, which had the Asura mention “We lost hundreds… maybe thousands!” when confronting a Sylvari.
So it made me think about that… is the numbers she mentioned talking about purely lionguard causalities, or overall population?
Kalavier, even in Factions there are some mentions of a somewhat negative view on necromancy.
For instance, professor Gai says: “The onus is again upon the Ritualists to attend to the Necromancers’ foul leavings.”
And, Togo himself says: “I think you will find [Headmaster Kuju] quite pleasant, for a necromancer”
Also, about Grenth being widely worshipped, that is true but he is also feared and even some Necromancer consider him to be too dark.
Is Gai the spirit, or a living person? If a spirit, would stand he could be unsettled by the fact of bodies being used.
Also, Togo’s line doesn’t really show any distrust or dislike… it’s just “Kuju is more pleasant then most necromancers… and they typically deal with dead things so they aren’t the most happy people around.”
Now, I can understand a general “They deal with corpses and death… so that’s kinda creepy.” But not “Ew, necromancer. I don’t trust that person.” GW never came across to me like that at all. Necromancers were socially accepted. Maybe not invited to every party, or liked universally, but not treated as evil and somebody to distrust completely.
Some monks (and/or ritualists) not liking necromancers and the opposite way isn’t that odd, and that’s not including the semi-silly/non-serious nature of the wintersday Grenth vs Dwayna. But I wouldn’t go as far to say all citizens use that. Because you know, healing and protection vs death, reanimation, and curses. (general magic focus).
Even then, I think it wouldn’t be enough for Livia to change her appearance over it, or stop using those abilities when the safety of the Queen is DIRECTLY threatened (Human storyline where the corrupted Seraph enters the throne room with a bunch of Risen). Maybe she took a back seat and let Anise take over guarding the queen while she focuses on other threats. Maybe she just took a vacation. I don’t think random civilian views of necromancers would affect her (being easily… 250-270+ years old? I know my necromancer was 40ish as of EOTN, and is 300ish as of current date GW2)
editish. Okay, looking over, I can but SOME dislike, as they are surrounded by death/dead things (like morgue workers). But not widespread everybody hates necromancers… because otherwise they wouldn’t walk openly and freely throughout the world, and not hide their profession (Like a Wow warlock does for example).
Actually, Kalavier, Necromancers ARE looked down upon by most humanity due to a misunderstanding (and vocal minority of power-abusing necromancers such as Verata and Oberan) of necromancy. This is not just in humanity, but all non-sylvari races actually. And this disdain on necromancy grew more with the double onslaught of Orrian undead (by Khilbron and by Zhaitan).
If you think that necromancers are never truly treated with disdain or dislike in GW1, then you didn’t play necromancer-only quests much. It’s rather made a point that they’re misunderstood – and hated by monks especially. This is pointblank shown if both a necromancer and a monk player go out together in pre-Searing and neither did that first quest.
My necromancer was a factions one, but I’ve seen that dialogue from the wiki. It does not sound extremely hateful and nothing in the manuals imply necromancers are disliked. When the one arrives in the battle of Gendara, she is not treated badly, but instead of valuable ally. Eve is accepted by Mhenlo and the others and also not distrusted.
A single monk disliking necromancers does not = a trend. Especially since we see necromancers widely in various factions across the globe, and even in power.
Ciglo the Monk: “Would that you would see the light, Verata, but alas, I fear you never will.”
Verata the Necromancer bows to Ciglo the Monk.
Doesn’t come across as super hateful to me. And again, one monk growling at necromancers doesn’t mean they all do.
Just checked all the primary profession necromancer quests (almost all being prophecies and pre-searing), but none of them struck me as being hateful toward necromancers. Perhaps I was wrong in saying “never”, but it doesn’t strike me as the typical response toward a necromancer. At least factions and Nightfall doesn’t show such beliefs much at all.
Morgan’s line mentions “Many people think necromancers are evil”, but… that’s not really shown. And given how they are everywhere, and in almost all major factions(Hell, a great house of the Kurzicks is lead by a necromancer… As well as the fact Grenth is a god and worshipped widely, including by necromancers, and everything I recall pointed at them being treated as “Dark but not evil”…)… Also, even if necromancers were despised, or ARE despised now (Which I strongly do not believe for the latter, and don’t truly believe for the first.), why would Livia hide her necromancer abilities? She’s old enough and powerful enough to just ignore random citizens who raise a stink about it. Or simply fade into the background and not appear in public.
It definitely doesn’t strike me as something that’d cause her to choose to change appearance and not use her full powers.
While true, that still wouldn’t explain just giving up necro powers and NEVER using them. Anise uses pure mesmer abilities, never anything necro like.
Actually, necromancers in the human lore are often looked upon as not trustworthy and devious. That would explain why she could hide it.
No, they really aren’t.
Necromancers are servants of grenth. Grenth is widely worshipped and the god of justice (at least in GW1). In Nightfall a necromancer comes in as reinforcements, as is treated as a major ally.
Human necromancers are never truly treated with disdain or dislike in GW1 at any point, bar two ascalonian necromancers who went evil (1 went insane, the other started experimenting on fellow refugees). If they were so distrusted and viewed with dislike, why do priests of grenth walk around openly? Why do necromancers walk around openly, and are just as respected as any other? Why is there an dialogue in DR about a father trying to teach his son about grenth to ‘follow in his footsteps’ and become a necromancer?
The only real time I saw necromancers being viewed badly was the one Norn challenge quest. But that isn’t a human.
I never said the Pact. I said the ORDERS.
If Jennah went off the deep end and did that, the other ‘nations’ would laugh at her, and likely bolster LA with their forces, as would the orders.
The Krytan crown officially stated LA to be independant, and free of Kryta rule. Going back on such a statement is a horrible PR move. Also Jennah is hosting the pavilion to raise funds to aid LA, so obviously so doesn’t think of them as traitors and criminals.
Note, Kryta did not rebuild LA. “Those criminals” did. The Salma’s grace was sunk 70 years ago. That gold is long been spent.
Also, I question how legit your comments on the whole legaility of the issues are, since you earlier tried to argue that Gwen was present for Nightfall, Factions, Prophecies, and EOTN and GW beyond, when she was only present for EOTN events, and a tiny bit of beyond. Same for other heroes.
I can’t help but think your views are seriously skewed by “How you think things should’ve happened” as opposed to how things actually went.
Koro Sagewind summoned an entire illusory army that kept an army of charr busy for days, if I remember right. There are some really incredibly talented characters out there…
Only for a day/afternoon. IIRC, by the time the sun set she arrived at the camp, and shortly later/next morning the charr arrived. She was also blind and bleeding, and basically used up her own life in making/maintaining the illusion.
She also at one point made an illusion the size of the eye of the north, but it left her blinded for a while.
because apparently they didn’t want race to be a factor…
which is hilarious when you consider that they’ve disabled the racials in pvp and also playing asura is far more advantageous in pvp than any racial you can possible think of.
i’d like for norn elites to have 2 min CDs
Tab targeting removes advantage of being small…
I’ve never had trouble with asura enemies in PVP.
I don’t think there’s any sense in claiming that it’s impossible… but before I gave the theory any consideration, I would at least want to hear a theoretical motive, something the OP admitted they couldn’t manage. What’s changed in the last 70 years that would make Livia want a cover identity?
Agreed.
I don’t think Rox’s thing with Braham is a romantic thing she has for him, I think its more shes overprotective of him because shes scared of losing him. Her entire warband died, so I think she has issues about being abandoned, or team mates dying, which is why she obsesses over making sure Braham’s injuries are healing properly.
This is really it.
Her PTSD from losing her entire previous warband and devourer in something she had no control over definitely shows in how she’s learned in battlefield medicine (though most rangers in GW1 showed such ability as I recall), and is VERY protective and careful about Brahams leg.
Well, in a situation of protecting the queen (such as when the corrupted Seraph comes after her), it’d be useful to use that magic she did in Sea of Sorrows as opposed to illusions…
That is, if I heard about her using magic to basically instantly kill every Risen who tried boarding the ship she was on is true.
They are Charr. Some people think they look like cats, some dogs and some…cows. But they are Charr, a race of beings not found on Earth.
……I have never heard any say a charr looks like a cow o_o
The number of WoW-immigrants that equate them to Tauren. …bluuuugh. It makes me want to throw haymakers. :\
Yeah… I’ve heard some which call Charr cow-things. But that can be equated to WoW players coming into the game who didn’t do much in the first. Or simply saw them from the first as tauren like people.
I think Rox has mentioned that mostly the stone warband does paperwork/office related leadership tasks in the blood legion, so that might partly be why Rytlock doesn’t get along with them well. But I don’t recall exactly.
I don’t recall seeing him interact with the stone warband a lot… was that in Edge of Destiny?
I can buy the “Felt like he was abandoning the team for what could be seen as a crush.” but not the “true love” thing. To me that goes into awkward and weird fans making two characters into couples that really aren’t :P
Either way, I’ve bet Samualson is from Barridan’s line, not Adelberns.
While true, that still wouldn’t explain just giving up necro powers and NEVER using them. Anise uses pure mesmer abilities, never anything necro like.
With mesmers, you can only theory-craft so far until it boils into endless “WELL, IT COULD BE ILLUSION!”
allow me to buy EITHER independent of my char’s gender
How about let us buy either the male or female version on ANY race?! I know it would mean more work because they would have to redo the male version for the female frame, but some of us want our female adventurers to look like they’re adventuring rather than going to a club.
(Why I made a human male instead of female…)
Most of the armors look fine, but I do share this idea.
If I could have the male phalanx heavy armor on my female norn guardian, I’d drop the gold/cash to buy it. Likewise, some armors I don’t mind the female look, but the male version matches my character idea more :P.
