Reset is on Friday.
Quaggan party? Time for some Bollaball!

Because generally speaking, you can bring whatever you want to PvE and complete it no problem. The only cases where this isn’t true is in high level fractals.
Go tell that to the people in the dungeon forums or the people crying for T4 Candidate Trial nerfs. XD
Vote Ellen Kiel for cheaper waypoint travel
Speculation based on historical fact.
We’ve seen the servers fill to Full status over and over again since launch. First 1, then 2, then more servers reach Full and the other servers start backfilling. Once they reach a certain point (somewhere ~50% servers @ Full) they raise the caps so more people can join.
The currency wallet will not have the 250 stack limit. Currencies in the wallet will behave in the same manner that gold and karma do currently.
Thank-you, Mark! Very nice QoL feature
In the special Queen’s Gauntlet, you will face increasingly difficult challenges of single-combat against unique bosses. Cheer on your friends or show off your skills to the world. Take a risk with special gambit conditions to earn even more prestigious rewards!
This sounds like a spectator mode for PvE – wondering if there is a limit on viewers?
GW2 brings it home with the articulation of movement in the joints.
The reason so many other game’s models look stiff is the limited or nonexistent range of movement in the shoulders, shoulder blades, wrists, knees, ankles, etc.
1. Here is my mesmer at a combat ready stance. Note the wrists and angle of the fingers.
2. Here is another one where she is in a state of extremis casting spatial surge. Look at the range of movement in the shoulders.
The dynamic lighting and shadows are brilliantly handled as well as the attention to detail. Love the character models <3
Shortest name I’ve seen was an asura named Yay
In other words, “Let’s displease anyone who has a name they like and who for whatever reason plays intermittently, to satisfy a few players who are kittenhurt because they can’t have a name they want — when there is no guarantee that the name they want would become available.”
Worst. Idea. Of. The. Month.
Agree!
But if you want to see the last time your guildies were active, you can look at the Leaderboards here:
https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/na/achievements
Login to the Leaderboards and set it for Guild. Hover your mouse over the achievements column and it will show the last date they earned a point. (but careful, this does not account for people that may login just to /dance in Lion’s Arch or w/e)
Play w/e u like.
Well, yeah, that’s the problem. I can only make one, and I don’t know which I like more.
You can take a brand new character into the Heart of the Mists (crossed sword icon) where you are boosted to 80 and have free access to all the abilities, traits, weapons, runes, sigils, stats, etc. You can play around with it against target golems or target professions, even a boss. You can even jump into a hot join pvp match if you like to get a feel for live gameplay.
Great way to test out builds or see what profession you want to play.
There’s a good few of them on the Trading Post so they are dropping.
Probably some players getting antsy since they left that part of the monthly to the last minute. Would have been better if they asked, certainly. Always good to remember that your realmies will be the people fighting along side of you in the war.
The best place for all of this information is on the Wiki. Guild Wars 2 Wiki
You linked the GW1 wiki.
GW2 wiki is here:

The entire concept is only worth it when clearing all of the chambers in with only ten wipes is something that the community can’t reach until the dungeon has been around for months.
How do you do that without gear gating?
Neat concept though
This is the most fun map since Snowball Mayhem, I am enjoying this brilliant little map and new skills so much. Big thumbs up!
Read your ingame mail, that should get you started
Going to the PvP lobby in GW2 is like going to the stockroom in The Matrix.
Yes, it’s that easy! None of that leveling through PvE nonsense if you want to PvP. None of that running PvE content for trinkets. Instant 80 with your choice of stats, runes, sigils, weapons, all of your traits and abilities cranked up to max and jump right into tournament play!
The skins are earned through Glory and Achievement Chests.
There’s a couple devs that play on SoR
• Copies Sold: 3 Million Copies Sold.
• Weekly Active Users: 2.5 Million Active Users per week.
• Rating by Game Authority IGN: 9/10
• Average total hours played per day: 508,428 total hours per day.
• Daily Page Views of Official US GW2 Website: 3 Million Page Views/Day.
I believe you can get the ground chest again in a reset if you do the event on a different character. You might want to test that though.

The giants you find in Orr are Risen and do not count as giants. The Brisban Wildlands “Broken Golem” event will spawn as many giants as there are players. I’ve done this with as many as 20 players, stack on the golem and the giants will spawn in a cluster on the other side, everyone rush in to tag them all.
Other than that, they are scattered around here and there.

It is ambient lighting. If you go to the Dragonbrand area in Blazeridge, your armor will reflect a pinky-purply hue.
The daylight in Lion’s Arch and Divinity’s Reach is like the the light in Italy, a rich, luxurious yellow light.
I don’t think it was an exploit per se, but the event was clearly broken since players couldn’t enter the dungeon. Thus the fix.
I didn’t notice any more lag than the usual either. Amazing to think all these players are there all along you just can’t see them.
Here’s a couple more.
They temporarily lifted culling less than 2 weeks ago in Frostgorge. It was glorious!
They must be getting close.
You should get an ingame mail about the latest Living Story area. Hit the “Show Me” button in the mail to see the map where the activities are.
The achievement tab on your Hero’s Panel is a good hint on things to do.
Also Dulfy is awesome!
Things Lion’s Arch has that no other city has:
Portal hub to all major cities
Fractals entrance
Portals to WvW
Mystic Forge
Dungeon token vendors
3 jumping puzzles
Portal to Southsun Cove
Ship to Labyrinthe Cliffs
But it looks like August will be bringing content to Divinity’s Reach. Keep your eye on that tent!
A couple nights ago on SoR we created an army of Omega Golems to take Blackgate’s borderland – for fun!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXCj7HjQD6w
We have great, active commanders, a serverwide Teamspeak to coordinate strategies, workshops for new WvW players and a very active, friendly PvE scene.
I will warn you however that WvW queues are often 3 hours long on reset night and you will often end up in overflow servers on the weekend.
Here’s a great link that shows all the combos.
Pick a profession on each side and you get a drop down showing the field, the finisher and the resulting combo.
http://mastodonte.fr/outils/tool-combo#en
Just to make sure, you are laying the field first then blasting the finisher through it?
This guide is dynamically linked to the Trading Post so adjusts to the best prices. Don’t refresh after you’ve started one though.
Hey, thanks for linking that. I am going to be trying to max craft a few soon because of the new recipes and that looks much better than the one I listed.
Your link is good also since it has that great intro to crafting for players new to crafting
The one I put up will get you the best price but it assumes you already know how to handle crafting and the UI and discovery and getting mats from salvaging, etc.

This will show you where and how to get all the armors.
“Culling” is in reference to lag. they are making changes in how the mob and character loads to reduce said lag
Culling refers to the draw distance of other players. We saw this in WvW with the ‘invisible army’ effect that was eliminated back in March.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/world-vs-worldthe-end-of-culling/
Should be like that since launch…
But ye, hope they roll it out soon
Actually at launch we could much much farther than we can now.
I use to be able to stand on the bank steps in Lion’s Arch and see someone running up the ramp to the Lion statue. Then they started blipping out halfway across the arced bridge. Then the people by the Mystic Forge disappeared. Now with a crowd around I can’t see to the bottom steps.
I imagine it’s as more and more players joined the game they had to dial it back. Ah well, growing pains, what you gonna do XD
What server are you on? I’ll guest over and show you where everyone is

Elementalist can have extremely high DPS using Lightning Hammer.
14k crits.
Completing the daily achievement means actually completing it – you will know when this happens because you get your daily achievement chest with a laurel and a jug of karma and w/e you get.
So make sure you have the buff on when you complete the 5th task of the daily.
Not bugged, you need to complete the daily with the buff on. 5/5
Pump this topic because Anet has hear us and gives us Kasmeer’s armor [&AgGXqAAA] and Braham’s armor [&AgGVqAAA].
Thank you very much and please keep up the good work!
p.s. May I ask for Captain Mai Trin’s rapier also please?
Looks like we are getting the Rapier next patch

Same, Keg Brawl takes me to Skyhammer map.
Get a Guardian. Provide AoE stability. Throw down Reflection Walls. Use Pulls. ??? Profit.
Now try doing that from the bottom of the well. It’s virtually impossible to target someone at the top, much less pull them over the side. Reflection and stability do help, but depending on the composition of classes at the top, you can expect to lose 60% or more of your force trying to reach a position where you can even hit the opposition.
One guardian can grant 18s of stability without boon duration. This is provided in an AoE.
And everyone who wants that much stability has to stand in a very obvious circle. Which will no doubt get carpet bombed by AoE team at the top of the well.
There’s no two ways about it. The well grants an obvious and extreme advantage to whomever controls the top. I’ve seen a group outnumbered 3 to 1, successfully hold control over the well for over an hour.
You should have seen when we could have siege in there.
Don’t know what the OP is talking about, this was on SoR at Jormag less than 2 weeks ago when culling was temporarily lifted.
Last we heard from Lord Vanquish was a month ago when Miya asked him to remove his helm.
I suspect foul play.
