An asura named Meenie Mite.
From the Mystic Forge. Got 7 precursors from the forge altogether, sold them all but the one I wanted and netted 400g.
ANet is extremely strict about that kind of behavior. Put in a ticket here, use Violation Report from the drop down box:
Use this to weed out the dead weight until we have something ingame.

I enjoyed the dungeon
Highfive to the commanders!
I saw some excellent coordination yesterday, especially as the day wore on and everyone had a better understanding of how it needed to be done. Had a couple close calls both ways – missed the achievement by a few seconds and got the achievement with only moments to spare. Great fun

That would be The Queen’s Gauntlet.

Killing monsters has a chance to drop the tickets to get in. Some of the Clockwork Chaos events need to be done to get into the Pavilion where the Gauntlet is.
So happy they did this – thank you fine folks for working so hard
I heard from another developer ingame last night that we can expect epic battles.
Also that this is just the beginning. I’m very excited about this patch
If they were verbally abusive your friend should report them. ANet is very strict about that, whether it’s on the forums or ingame and will suspend or ban them for such behavior.
Was chatting with a dev ingame this evening, he was saying tomorrow we would see epic battles and that was just the beginning.
I’m very excited!
Pretty sure you have to buy the recipe from Miyani and craft that. It’s not something that goes in the mystic forge. Gift of Light should go into the mystic forge though when you have it
Correct.
You can test stats, runes and sigils with different builds in the Heart of the Mists for free. Crossed sword icon upper left on your screen. There’s golem targets, profession targets and even a boss to try it on. Or you can jump in a hot join match to see how it plays live against other players.
Hope that helps!
For any players that missed it, the plot thickens!

Yes. They are aware and looking into the issue.
Here is where you can report violations.
https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/ask/
- Itemization was increased through ascended items and infusions. Currently you can get ascended items in Fractals, from Guild Missions, and from laurels earned through dailies.
- WvW has seen a major improvement with the removal of culling and the addition of ranks & ability points.
- Yes, endgame has improved significantly with Fractals, Guild Missions and Living Story.
- New content every 2 weeks, don’t know what else you’re interested in, there’s been tons of changes since you last played.
Here’s the splash page which provides a general summary without going through all the patch notes:

Most GW2 boss encounters can’t hold a candle to WoW’s finer boss fights
Hahaha. As an ex-WoW hardcore raider, those “finer fights” boil down to gear checks with trinity training wheels. Tank takes aggro, healers play whackamole, Dps autopilot rotations and every now and then you stack or spread out and get out of the fire. Addons tell you what to do when and the fights are tuned so they cannot be completed with current gear thus giving the illusion of ‘progressing’.
Well done, Tolmos
Not sure if you know but there’s no advantage to leveling to 80 for arena. In fact, going into the Heart of the Mists (pvp lobby) automatically boosts you to 80 with all the stats/abilities/traits, etc and free access to max runes/sigils/gear.
For fast leveling in the open world hitting up as many dynamic events while doing map completion is fastest. Gather resources as you go for more points. Do not grind mobs, that’s the slowest way.
I wouldn’t go leaping out of any wall street windows just yet
ANet is very aware of the economy and in fact have a chief economist and staff on board that diligently monitors supply and demand. They also have the luxury of a closed world system that they can control. There’s no oopsie daisies happening here, they know what they are doing.
Remember the Great Butter Crisis of 2012 when butter was literally falling out of trees? They added a temporary Mystic Forge recipe that used a large quantity of butter and the price corrected. Or how about the critical Pile of Crystalline Dust Shortage coupled with the crashing price of Globs of Ectoplasm from the oversupply spike of 2013? Now we can salvage globs of ectoplasms into dust and the price equalized on both. Or most recently, our Zephryrite visitors coming to trade surplus materials we had on hand.
Don’t panic
Open the Game Menu (the gear on the upper left of your screen)
Hit Options
Under User Interface click the checkboxes of any of the following that you would like to see:
- Show All Enemy Names
- Show All NPC Names
- Show All Player Names
Hope that helps!
We pretty much have that now – between traits, sigils, weapon choices, utility choice, gear and runes, I can go tanky (a bunker build) or high dps (glass cannon) or support.
Lots of different ways to play, explore the options available to you
I’m an elementalist and engineers skeer me :o
j/k j/k they are both good
Here’s all the chat commands
Have you downloaded new drivers for your graphics card recently?
Casual or hardcore generally refers to the amount of time a player invests in a game. I think you are talking more about skilled play vs. those who are still learning.
Personally I think the game offers a nice mix of content to appeal to all these spectrums. For instance in the Queen’s Jubilee patch going on right now we have Queen’s Pavilion (for the general population) and Queen’s Gauntlet (for players that want to show their prowess).

Congratulations!
They lifted the server caps again.
They do this periodically as servers fill up. I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve done it since launch.
They always do it before a free trial weekend which is coming next weekend on August 23rd.
And so this record is nothing to brag about.
Actually at over 1.3M likes on their facebook, vs the less than 1M likes of GW’s, TES Online is already on their way to beating it.
That is of course assuming that
1: Everyone who have bought GW2 likes their FB page
2: Everyone who likes TESO’s FB page will buy TESO.Both which are unlikely.
That may be true but then there is this…
No doubt, I’m sure ESO will have a great launch and I wish them well.
But as of right now, as of This Moment In Time, Guild Wars 2 holds the record.
Here you go.
D3’s auction house keeps going on even when you’re not there It’s persistent.
Can’t we just say that D3 revolutionized the MMO genre by removing player zergs?
Blizzard is going to have to re-write a heckuva lot of history to try to call D3 a MMO now. Wikis, reviews, press releases, 1000s of game sites. This is funny
I think if Blizzard were to come out with a ‘sequel’ to WoW, ANet’s record would be blown out of the water.
If wishes were fishes and all that. Right now, as of this moment, Guild Wars 2 holds the record
(I think it would be beyond hilarious if Blizzard were to try to get D3 reclassed as a MMO)
Indeed.
I believe the plan goes like this:
1) Increase server capacity
2) Remove PvE culling
3) Offer free trial weekend
4) Watch Youtube explode.
:D
If you’ve been trying to transfer, here’s your chance!
1) No. Go vitality and toughness to increase health or armor.
2) Getting behind the mob is not necessary – just get out of the way of the big attack.
3) Stats depend on your build which depends on the situation (dungeons & WvW play very differently)
4) Not necessary to use external tools, your tooltips show which skills are Fields and which are Finishers. (one person lays a field, the same person or another person casts a finisher in the field)
5) Move as necessary to avoid attacks.
6) For the most part stay out of red circles, but as you play you will learn what attacks you can take.
7) For the most part, yes.
Combat is a bit different in GW2. Your priority is to avoid damage over dealing it. There are no strict healers although many professions offer healing support. You can modify your build to be more tanky or bunkerish until you get the hang of avoiding damage. Many people change the keybind of their dodge key for better control.
You can (and should!) maximize damage by utilizing combos. Here’s a good tool that will help you folks learn how to combo off each others skills:
Here is a quick summary of Living Story so far:
No one can open a account or transfer to a Full server. However, many people have reported success by trying at low peak hours when the server status drops from Full to Very High.
Until then, your friend can guest over to your server where you can do any content together except for WvW.
I think you’re talking about this which takes place in Seattle on August 31st.
The link is really cool. It took me a second to realize you can make them move by mousing over them. Love the Soesbee twirl!

I knew within the first 10 minutes of playing the beta that this game was going to be something special
Congratulations!
