No, you cannot transmute different types of armor together (heavy, medium, light).
Here’s a good site for seeing all the armor in game if you are trying to mix and match for a unique look.

Here is where you want to look to see what’s coming for each month.

When I stumbled over to Dolyak gaveyard and following their ghosts….I dont know, but It makes me sad in a way but not negative, Its just pure immersion for me.
Or the little puzzles you come across, aside from any PQ oder DE, just waiting to be discouvered by an explorer….love it!
:)
I haven’t seen this Doylak graveyard, can someone point me to it?
I got a headache the first time I played it. That was somewhere after 6 hours with no food or water – hunger headache or dehydration was setting in…….
Hi all! To understand if ppl play the game and if others are intrested in just take a look
to youtube…….when i was used ti play gw1 and i was looking for a way to farm( a build to farm) was easy go on google search monk/war/any profession,( becouse classes ware belanced) and a youtube page popped up with thousand of view , with comment and discussion…….now today go on youtube and search a video with more of hundreds view……
But how many people back then were posting videos as compared to today? It’s a very different situation. Today everyone and their sister posts videos. Means very little, in the scheme of things.
Might as well look at what popular sites get as hits for Guild Wars 2. For example, on MMORPG.com Guild Wars 2 still consistently gets the most hits every month.
Doing a Youtube search for “Guild Wars 2” returns ~810,000 videos
Youtube search “GW2” gets another 310,000 videos.
The GW2 Trailer “Our Time is Now” has 2.5 million views

And the main page on the Official Wiki has been accessed 17,518,736 times.

Well, that’s a tall order since there have been content additions every month…..
Off the top of my head they added:
Guild Missions
Fractals (dungeon which scales in difficulty to infinity)
A new zone
Living Story
Leaderboards
WvW ranks
Dungeon revamps
More jumping puzzles
Ascended gear
A couple PvP maps including CTF
Skritt burglar events
Upgraded loot from world drops & meta events
Flexible daily & monthly achievements
Tons of polish to existing content
You can take a look at the patch notes to see what I missed or more detail on what changed.

There is a difference! The guild buff is a passive buff that your guild activates that lasts for a set period. You can get the banner buff from any guild’s banner.
edit – you can see your guild’s passive buffs by mousing over the guild icon in the upper left of your screen.
You can see all the armors on all the races here:
http://argos-soft.net/GW2ArmorGallery/index.php?sex=1&race=4&color=10&weight=1
Not sure about CoFpie, I never look at karma rewards anymore.
The buffs do stack – that I can confirm.
High level dynamic events are the fastest way, you can generally find some areas in Cursed Shore that have lots of events.
Make sure when using your karma jugs to also get the guild buff, banner buff & ice cream food buff – and I think the new campfire thingies set to karma give 50%.
My pleasure
Took me forever to figure it out, I kept trying to put additional runes on the same piece of gear, lol.
It sounds like you are talking about runes.
When a piece of gear has an upgrade slot, you have the option of putting a rune in it. Each rune of the same type in additional gear adds another stat bonus.
Minor runes – 2 stat bonus
Major runes – 4 stat bonus
Superior runes – 6 stat bonus
I refer you all to this…

Ain’t nobody got time for anything other than a cold pop!
I’m not uptight at all. I could care less what the fanboys think. I just speak from the heart.
Also, I don’t log in for dailies, but so you deny people do? Do you deny that until recently, there were tons of people just going from boss to boss to collect gold chests?
I would be willing to bet we agree that isn’t the kind of activity that leads to long term investment in a game.
Oh, that’s right, who needs that! It is buy to play! ANet can’t lose!
If you think that’s all people are doing, you obviously haven’t looked at the WvW forums lately
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv
Or the 3 mil + dungeon & fractal groups that have formed on gw2lfg in the last couple months.
Or how ’bout a new forum that fairly exploded with hundreds of thousands of posts in 4 short days since they added the content.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/sab
Or been in game to see the swarms of people in Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills for the Living Story.
Yes, of course people do dailies and kill World Bosses for rares but it’s very silly to say that’s all people do in the face of all the evidence to the contrary.
Try checking your computer clock to see if it is set to the correct time.
Asura baton twirl idle animation for a staff.
Charr idle animation weapon toss and catch.
Well, that’s a tall order since there have been content additions every month…..

Welcome to the living breathing world of Tyria
There’s a dynamic event that takes place in the area, that if it fails will do that to the tree. The event needs to be completed successfully to restore it.
My take on the manifesto is that this game is nothing like GW1, and they clearly said if you loved GW1 you would love GW2. I think we can safely assume that when they wrote that they meant it. However, what they ended up with has alienated pretty much every GW1 player I know.
All the GW1 players I know think GW2 is so much better.
so if you lose all your lives, is it possible to get back in?
If you lose all your lives, when you are taken to the room of death there’s an option to purchase a continue coin for baubles. I don’t remember how many are needed.
Been playing this game just a few weeks. I have a level 65 and a few others around level 15. I think I have been in a group 2 times. So I don’t even know how the combo things work.
This game really doesn’t promote grouping much. People congregate and kill stuff together, but nobody seems to be very interested in grouping up. I tried to find a group for a dungeon once, and got no response. would be nice if the game had a group finder.
The game does have one but it’s not very good and no one uses it.
However EVERYONE uses gw2lfg.com <—-form a group in a matter of minutes, generally less than a minute.
i like how the jail is getting more popular thanks to the super adventure box, before there was never anybody there in the depths of rata sum with not much reason to go to the prison area.
now there’s always people there or diving off the side of the city
Cube skating is making a comeback!
Best guides I’ve seen so far – thank you!
Now i don’t know if this has been said before, if so someone Merge it please, but i didn’t find anything via the Search function.
In any case, if all 4 parts of the SAB are to be released, i think it might be a good idea to have armor skins that match the weapons and backpack?
I Think it might be cool, but that’s just my opinion^^
I was thinking the same thing! Would love to see armors to match the backpack
When you receive an invite from a guild, the name of the guild will appear on your guild tab in the lower left. Click the name, then you click the join button.
Once you join a guild you need to represent it (click the represent button). You can join up to 5 guilds but can only represent one at a time. When you represent, you see guild chat, benefit from the guild’s buffs and earn influence towards that guild.
Tauren and Charr are pretty much opposite of eachother… COMPLETE opposite..
The only thing they have in common is fur -.-C’mon man. The models are very similar. One has a bull face, one has a cat face, both with horns. Body types are so similar that most people will instantly think of the Tauren when they see a Charr. Yeah I know the lore is different, I’m talking about the look of the character.
Don’t make me post side by side pics :P
You can try out end game builds by rolling a fresh toon and taking it into the Heart of the Mists where it’s leveled to 80 and you have access to all the gear and skills/traits, etc. Practice in a hot join or on the target dummy to get an idea of how it plays.
(for the record I play elementalist and it is SO much fun I haven’t found another profession that I like as much either)
There is no level requirement beyond the zones the targets are located in. For instance, if you got Bookworm Bwikki in Lornar’s Pass, anyone with a character level that can handle Lornar’s Pass could participate.
If you got Devious Tessa in Frostgorge Sound however, people would need to be at least level 65-70? to enter that zone.
Dulfy has a good guide on Bounty missions.

From the Wiki~
To transfer to a different world, go to the character selection screen (using F12 or when you first logon) and select the desired world; you will be logged out while the game makes these changes, which might take 5-30 minutes. You can transfer once every seven days at a cost determined by the destination server population.
Medium: 500 gems
High: 1000 gems
Very High: 1800 gems
The transfer fee is only charged if you have characters on your account; in other words, if your account has no characters or you delete all existing characters first, you will be prompted to select a new home world after creating a new character, free of charge.
:(
I think you’re stuck with it.
Since it’s soulbound to the character you created and you destroyed the soul of that creature that item will forever be in your bank – haunting you.
Not sure if putting in a ticket will help get you the bank slot back, but might be worth a try.
Ettins are closer to orcs than Charr are.
When you draw back your bow, you close one eye to take aim.
If you shoot an arrow through a fire field, it catches fire and does more damage.
It is simple. The nice people who usually run the event and keep the dungeon open for you, well they are enjoying the new content, SAB. If you don’t have people there to keep it open then it stays contested. It is not just CoF, a bunch of events have had a fall off of players since SAB opened. It will return to normal in about a week once most players have the skin they are looking for.
The massive crowds around the Super Adventure Box in Rata Sum attest to that!
(I did my daily for the first time yesterday since the Box came out, haven’t done much in the world at all – like nothing)
No one has gotten the fluffy puppy mini yet? :<
OMG so CUUUUUTE!! He dogpaddles underwater!
Still a 7 day cooldown on transfers.
There’s a small hylek village in Caledon Forest not too far from the dungeon entrance. If you throw the boulders on the ground against a wall, a opens doors into an area chock full of Hylek veterans.
I recommend bringing a friend
There’s an event in Iron Marches I believe where you free Drakehounds from cages and they help you scout out enemies hiding in trees.
If the hound uncovers a landmine and it blows up, the poor dear limps around holding one paw up and I just go awwwwwwww : ’ (
http://argos-soft.net/GW2WeaponGallery/index.php?itemType=7
Not sure if this is a complete listing, but there’s quite a few here. Unfortunately it shows them sheathed so you don’t see the effects, but it does have the ingame code so you can preview it.
I got a few extra from the Orrian Jewelry Boxes (already have my clovers done). Saving them in the collectibles tab, doesn’t use inventory space, just in case I ever decide to go for a legendary on another character
My guild completed a t3 bounty a couple days ago including one of the new bosses, Yanonka the Rat-Wrangler.
We made it with mere seconds to spare – it was pretty exciting!
Please explain the Yanoka one. My guild had that as the target. We just did a tier 1 bounty, killed our first target in less than 3 min. 12 min to find the other boss so we figured we had it, WRONG! Found 10 suspicious rats, no boss…. We had absolutely no clue as to what to do? We would interact with the rats and they would just run away. Really frustrating. Do you have to find the right spawn like Sotzz?
Correct, we went through many rats before we found the one that led to Yanoka. They are all over Fields of Ruin, not just in the city of Ebonhawke.
Boobles lol.
What was heard cannot be unheard, they will always be boobles to me now.
Josh talks about what happened with that puzzle on this thread:

Wow, thanks for the great compliments. I do some spelunking myself, which lead me to try to recreate a claustrophibic feeling in one of the WORST JPs in the game: Troll’s End. Which was NOT that bad until the camera got changed just before we shipped!
But then I incorporated that claustrophobia with exploration in Chasm. Also, I sculpted most of the cave props and tunnels in the game, so I’m glad to hear they don’t appear copy-pasty.
A good workaround to make things easy on yourself is to use one of the transformation tonics that lets you jump.
Your graphics are set very low by the look of the bricks and other textures.
Lol, if anyone has any questions about how well the game is doing, just open the world selection button on your character screen.
Every single US server is Very High population.
Every. Last. One!
I know of no MMO right now that can boast such a lively playerbase.
I want to see someone with Chauncey Von Snuffles III.
Ask and you shall receive.
He reminds me of Mr. Mistoffelees from CATS.
If he had a Conjuring Turn move that would settle it!
