Go there. Everyone is using it, more than 3.5 mil groups formed on that site in the last couple months. Takes less than 2 mins to get a group.
Otherwise group with guildmates or friends. Very very rarely do I see trying to form a group in mapchat.
Haha, that video is great.
These are Meta events and tied to the completion of other dynamic events which have their own fail or success states.
For instance, the Shadow Behemoth only spawns when both the Champion Oakheart is downed and the Monastery is cleared during the window. If Sister Brenda is dead in the swamp since no one protected her during the escort event, the chain of events will never cycle around to driving back the centaurs from the Monastery.
Not sure if you are aware but Confusion is a condition.
Every profession has the ability to remove conditions both from themselves and from their allies.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition#Skills_that_remove_conditions
It gets easier when you understand it
Just looked and there’s only a couple listings for zerker warriors. O.o
Not sure if you are aware of this feature, but you can take a brand new character into the Heart of the Mists (the crossed sword icon on the upper left of your screen) and there you will be boosted to 80 with access to all the traits/skill/gear/upgrades, etc.
You can practice on the target dummies or jump into a hot join PvP match to play around with builds and see what feels good to you at max level.
Welcome back
At this point you can pretty much throw a dart at the World Selection screen and hit a populated server
US servers are all Very High except for 4 which are High.
Here’s the World Ranking of servers by how well they perform in WvW (the epic week long pvp battle):
https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/na/wvw
…and welcome!
I agree, guilds need more tools.
A clumsy but effective work around to handling inactives is to take a screenshot of your roster. After a specified time compare the roster with the SS and anyone whose achievement points has not moved you can remove for inactive.
I think you haven’t been paying attention.
GW2 is now the fastest growing MMO ever made.
Your poorly masked Pandaland commercial ($38 hah! You forgot the $180 sub fee + expansion packs + added services, can’t pay for anything in that game with ingame gold) won’t have much of an effect on the phenomenon that’s happening here.
Take the commercial elsewhere, not interested.
Oh, and pass this on for me woulda, OP?
Congratulations!

I made my own leaderboards which crawl the official one, and added search, graphs etc
It was meant only for sPvP, but many people asked to make achievements too, so I didCheck it out here: http://www.gwshack.info
Like it ? Comment in this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/Leaderboards-with-search-www-gwshack-info/firstIs it wrong of me to be laughing at ArenaNet because, once again, there’s a website out there doing it better?
How long did it take you to do that? How many people did it require? How much were they paid? If you don’t mind me asking. I’m willing to bet you did it faster, better, and for less money than ArenaNet did.
I did the first version in 2 hours + I streamed it (there is a video here: http://www.twitch.tv/turshija/c/2137971), after that I invested 2-3 more hours into polishing it and adding features
That doesn’t mean I am “smarter” then Anet engineers that did that, it only means I had some spare time to make a tool I needed + uploaded it online so that everyone can use it .. I’m sure Anet devs can make that even better, but they are a small team of devs with many tasks, so they can’t invest too much time into one feature …
To be fair, you created a spreadsheet that scrapes the existing information that ArenaNet created the infrastructure to collect. Also it looks like ArenaNet is creating a deeper infrastructure (we’ve briefly seen the up/down arrow to sort by region<—-creating for future regions) which takes more upfront time.
Not that I don’t appreciate your work, I do
You can sort by world now
Skill points are yummy.
Growing.
Due to a number of servers approaching full with a recent influx of new players from the sale on Gw2 that just ended, the server capacity was recently increased for a number of servers yes.
Ten Ton Hammer also giving away keys.
I’ve played other MMOs so I understood what the term unique was referring to, but I think it would be a great idea to have a warning for those players who may not be familiar with it
Well, that’s a tall order since there have been content additions every month…..
Off the top of my head they added:
Guild Missions
Fractals (dungeon which scales in difficulty to infinity)
A new zone
Living Story
Leaderboards
WvW ranks
Dungeon revamps
More jumping puzzles
Ascended gear
A couple PvP maps including CTF
Skritt burglar events
Upgraded loot from world drops & meta events
Flexible daily & monthly achievements
Tons of polish to existing content including dungeons
Tons of balancing to professions
To sum up, as far as endgame there is content that:
1) Requires a guild
2) Provides gear progression
3) Escalates in difficulty
4) Offer premium rewards
There are no raids however and it’s not likely there will be.
You can take a look at the patch notes to see what I missed or more detail on what changed.

Doesn’t salvaging get you achievement points, and a lot of them? They should remove those points from the Leaderboards then it would be a bit more meaningful. Reaching the top because you salvaged a lot of rags doesn’t sound epic.
They did remove them. Check your points.
There will be a fix for this before year’s end per the developers. Taking a bit longer for the open world culling fix since there’s so many more models.
Queensdale is the favored starting area, that’s where everyone hooks up and hangs out for events.
Lion’s Arch is the major portal hub city.
They are all busy on all worlds.
Several independent observers saw the high pop servers drop to medium all at the same time in Europe and US. After these observations an Anet employee comes along and says yeah, due to the success of our recent sale we’ve increased server capacity on some servers. I have two things I can believe.
A BUNCH of people in Europe and the US all left the game simultaneously or maybe they expanded the number of players who could be on a single server.
Sure, you can say Anet will say anything they like, but it doesn’t change the fact that server numbers have very very likely increased on certain servers.
This really isn’t rocket science.
You do realize that only way for the population to drop from high to low is:
A. Large number of people moved from Very High to Low Population servers
B. Server was full of bots and they just banned a hell lot of them
or
C. Anet increased server sizePopulation count is only how many accounts are tethered to that server not how many people are playing. And its only logical for one of these conclusions to be true.
It was confirmed that server capacity was increased.
Due to a number of servers approaching full with a recent influx of new players from the sale on Gw2 that just ended, the server capacity was recently increased for a number of servers yes.
They increased capacity Monday. US servers suddenly changed from all Very High to 4 Medium, 1 High and the rest stayed Very High.
Today, US servers are now 2 Medium, 3 High and the rest Very High.
Seems the game is doing very well indeed

Well tbh, 80 isn’t that big of a deal since you keep leveling, but hint (finishing your personal story is!)
Here is another gallery you might want to check out

Do the events in the reactor and talk to Rooba during the window.
All at the same exact time? In both US and EU?
Highly improbable.
They increased capacity yesterday. US servers suddenly changed from all Very High to 4 Medium, 1 High and the rest stayed Very High.
At the exact same time, EU server capacity was also increased.
I imagine it’s in readiness for the upcoming free trial weekend, they did the same for the Lost Shores weekend.
No matter what zone I’m in or what event I’m running all I get is either Queensdale or Lion’s Arch music.
I put a post on the Game Bugs forum but no response. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Ran the repair utility just in case I had a corrupted file, but all I’m getting is either Lion’s Arch or Queensdale music, no matter what zone I’m in or what events are running.
They have said they would but no timeline on it yet.
You can sort by world now
….and now you can’t!
Sneak peek at the Filter options, must not be ready to roll it out just yet.
You can sort by world now
My music is getting really random – was getting Queensdale music today on the Fire Elemental world boss in Metrica rather than the battle music and now I’m getting Lion’s Arch music in Rata Sum.
Did something change, is it my settings or is this a known bug?
Here is a good guide, it’s dynamic (tied to current TP prices)
http://www.gw2crafts.net/
You can get 10 levels per discipline.
I found it takes a little bit longer if you put bids on the TP for mats and components (maybe a couple hours?) but you can do it quite a bit cheaper than the guides.
If we will be able to see list of all players in achievments ranks. We will see how many ppl bought the game, and how many ppl are playing the game.
This should prove interesting
Nice! I was wondering how this was done
According to the blog:
We’re starting with the top 100 users in PvP and Achievements, but over the next few weeks we’ll ramp this number up and add some different ways to slice the data to help you get the most relevant information possible.

I would love to have a Vision of the Mists and an Anomaly for my mesmer, but since there’s no ilvl requirement to do any of the content I don’t feel that pressure of “need”.
I can get it at my own pace which feels really good
As far as I know the only way to tell is to log on.
Q: Why do asura hate rodent pests?
A: They just don’t give a skritt.
Guild Missions
You can look at all the swatches here:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dye
and you can preview dyes on the Trading Post now
Suggesting to preview since some of the dyes appear slightly different colors depending on the material they are applied to.
Lol the opinion route isnt the most logical one in this argument. Otherwise my opinion is gw2 is the wow killer because it was MY wow killer. Never going back.
:D
I couldnt agree more, GW2 has the potential but its being squandered away.
If it doesnt pull up its socks ESO might knock it into the dust as another one of those games that tried to take down WOW but failed.
By looking at it’s ocean of dead servers, WoW is doing a fine job of that all by itself.
TSW doesn’t have this:

Isn’t that an MMO about urban legends?
I’m only interested in medevial/fantasy MMOs
From the Wiki:
If the chest is open when you reach the section with the journal, you will be unable to trigger the matriarch event that enables the pressure plate, which will prevent you from reaching the final spot. Wait awhile and the chest will eventually close and you’ll be able to complete the puzzle.
