And the best you are not only a healer but a tank too, just like in other MMOs but IN ONE
Dont worry, its not overly complicated to play either, i explain how it goes:
1: Go very close to your enemy
2: Look them closely in the face and do a scary stare
3. Press 1 and mesh them with your hammer
4. Do 3 until the fight is won
And if groups dont want you because they call you are a useless healer, dont worry again, you can do most dungeons solo just fine, the npcs that are actually able to kill you are like countable on two hands in the whole game. It just takes a little while longer, go make a coffee or something in the meantine.
But i should clarify you only tank and heal for yourself not for anyone else!

On the chance this guy is serious, which is possible because a trap ranger like the one described does have an extremely high amount of condi pressure. However, it’s one of the few builds that is somewhat balanced. I say this because the strongest trap ranger will have no stability or stun breaks. Minimal condi cleanse and very few boons if any. It’s a high risk high reward type of build.

Stunbreaks: Lightning Reflexes, Signet of Renewal
Stability: Rampage as One (Altough in real pvp Spirit of Nature is better)
Condition Removal: Empathic Bond, Healing Spring, Signet of Renewal, Spirit of Nature

What, this legendary has one of the most aggressive/eyesorish… errr -strong/noticeable effects of all, no need to complain there.
The problem with this legendary is that rifle sucks big on warrior and on engineer it doesnt fit the weapon skills and you dont see it most of the time anyway

More like nobody uses it because ranger have better poison dealing options like Poison Volley, Serpent’s Strike and Stalker’s Strike. Any trapper would take spike trap and frost trap over Viper’s Nest anyday.

Not to mention traited vipers nest can give nearly permanent poison uptime alone if not cleansed and the short uptime of a combo field. Its a important tool for trapper when up against warrior/guard or other classes with lots of regen, i take it over spike trap (almost)anyday.

The aoe effect on barrage wont change, you should accept that

hint: it is not. The weapon is absolute garbage in every single game mode and format, it HAS to get some sort of buffs.

You are right about Steamfire. You can add to that that the skin sold by the wvw merchant also uses the Steamfire-flametrident. Because i got these skins to fill my collection all there i thought Rhendak would be the not-normal version

yes, drakes are very very strong in pve, no, dont nerf them.
buff other pets and they become too strong in pvp
well maybe pigs could get a little buff or two.. and bears… and jellyfishs.. and moas… and devourers……

I have a pve set with ranger rune, a pve set with scholar rune, a celestial wvw set, an exotic set for skins only for pvp and another skin only set for when i kindly ask male players if i might could have some gold or free items

With recent buffs, engineers became an excellent pve class.
Their damage, which was what they where lacking before, got buffed huge. Rune of strength works also well on them and they still have all the good stuff from before. Crazy vulnerability stacking, crapton of explosion finishers and all the nice stuff on demand like reflection, smoke field etc.
The sad thing is, most players still dont know this, so you will most likely not be welcomed by most pugs(=random people from the lfg menu)

hm, i dont know, i for one am happy that my favorite season 1 skin is one of the very few ones that didnt got rendered worthless crap by adding to some vendor for buying super cheap available always for everyone

They do not share the CD, but the icon that shows you the CD of your F2 skill is bugged. Same as with F2 CD reduction trait. Tooltip does not change, but if you have ticked the “show skill recharge” box in the options menu, you will see that the trait still works.

Tested spider F2 thing yesterday after reading a different thread and thinking the exact same thing you did/do. Yes, the spiders have separate CD.

OP is right, Zerker is not the only damage build.
The reason is very simple.
That is because zerker is not a build at all

Etched Short Bow – The short one is the normal dropping exotic item, the longer one,which is an exact copy of the longbow version, is a choosable reward from the final chest in the shiverpeaks pvp reward track

Aas for all the underwater weapon which are all more versions of the karma weapons basically, you can look if you have any of those because i dont and i suspect these being unobtainable as well.
Underwater weapons are quite a mess in the locker right now.

The Chest is from the Stately set, its a karma set. The Pants are from crucible of eternity dungen, the shoulders are from the rare-level crafted masquerade set, the boots could be from the crafted acolythe set, cant see the gloves.

Im almost completely certain that the light green orb is zhaitan and the black/green one is mordremoth, the coloration also makes sense, the risen and especially Zhaitan himself used this toxic green very often while the mordrems we saw until now use a much darker green, if they are even green. The order in which they awaken also fits.
This also means that the orb crashing in the middle is Zhaitan not Mordremoth and there could be several explanations for that.
Dont forget that Tequatl surprisingly started to grow in power after Zhaitan got defeated

The statement that all armor in this game for females is skimpy is simply not true.
Many armors are just different because they are designed to fit the corresponding body.
Why force equalisation where it doesnt make sense. They have way more important things to spend their development time on, the game is doing already very fine in that regard.

Tried it out in Hotjoin for a bit. The biggest downside I see right now is the lack of hard CC to prevent enemy stomps, but other than that it’s a decent setup. I’ll be sticking to my main build, but that one’s definitely on my shelf for team builds. ^^

Yes, low hard cc and low mobility outside of combat are this builds weaknesses. But a build with no weakness would be op and shouldnt exist anyway.

Its definitely a thing you can do. I would then put sigil of doom over hydromancy on the axe set to help maintaining the upper hand against warriors and guardians regen abilities.
I think its dependent on what team comp you have and how many blasts they can offer, say if you lack warriors engineers or eles. But i would only blast the traps for the strong aoe weakness or frost aura because the healing is just not worth to drop the good dagger for and might other classes can just do better

Guard without scepter vs chillranger is almost an autoloss for the guardian as well.
But the game is not build or balanced around 1vs1, so who cares
