My Pug zerg once more found the Russians tonight Had 30-35 again but I will admit, when we took your T3 hills, we had more :P But that was the only time we had that number while I was commanding. Afterwards everyone dispersed once more to repair, defend and scout bringing our numbers back down to the 30 mark again.

Best fight I would say was by Briar which seemed to be my 35 Vs 25-30 of you? Either way it was a fun back and forth that lasted a good 10 minutes and ended with both sides with heavy casualties

Lets not cry nightcap guys, we have a substantial day cap that they don’t have(even though the patch kinda screwed it today), so grats to Gandara for playing the points game better than us this week. Had some excellent fights, and hoping for more of the same next week. Hoping to see less blobs as well, but meh, that may be a hopeless venture Bring on next week.

No we didn’t get a night cap guild, our Primetimers stayed on longer. Thats how it has always been when Gandara found it a necessity to match a substantial night force. (I.e Fort Ranik back in the day)

About 30ish if im honest. We had about 40 in TS but 10 were scouting elsewhere and at one point in Bay we had 40ish.

Well my vacation on Piken has ended and I must say, was one hell of a fun week indeed A call out to all the awesome people I met and who welcomed me despite mah heritage! (Vayle the Eternal, Calem Silvermist, Entirety of Second Law [Scnd], Rahkesh and NNF <3) Now, to meet you all once more upon teh battle field!

I can also state that Vii have asked for people to not hang about them. Im not taking sides, merely stating facts. In fact I commanded for Piken Square the second day I was there because they asked for a commander to draw Puggers away. now im not saying they were disrespectful and all that, they’re very respectful. I’m just saying that it happens on Piken too ;D

On the night cap size issue; I can confirm that Piken has less players when it comes to night time than Gandara although there has been nights where it’s been questionable. But lets be honest here guys; neither Server can compare with the size of the French Leviathan that pours forth from the heavens at like 2am.

I’ve been having a blast on Piken. Very awesome and accepting people. Had a fair amount of duels (and lost every single one of them!) against old server mates, one duel was actually a golem vs golem duel which was funny xD

Oh and yea I see some comments here about the Semper Yak Alliance thing, that only really ever happened when Dius or YaK was lacking or both were lacking. I think the most we had together on the field was against Kodash Vs KoA and we numbered 31? But this no longer happens due to Dius being on break til patch day >.<

On the topic of Piken guilds having Mahoosive numbers; I haven’t seen all guilds but I can confirm that at least Vii, Scnd, TNTD all run with around 15-20ish or less without Pugs and yea sometimes pugs are unavoidable so they will have pugs about. From what I have seen though is that people on both sides have a tendency to exaggerate numbers or to de?exaggerate their own.

Thats all I am going to say on those matters now because I am on vacation so lets just have some fun 8-)

Currently on Piken for a week to visit some friends of mine and WvW with them (It’s the only thing any of us like doing so Guesting is out of the question )just a note to Piken players; No Dius is not transferring to Piken and all chances to assist you in wiping Dius would be much appreciated

This lag is a pain in the a.., every time we are more than 30 on a narrow area, skills request at least 5sec of casting.

Glad someone points this out. It is unplayable atm. I’ve never experienced this before. We all known those big fights can be a pain but not being able to cast a spell is something new.

I’ve counted up to 8 seconds not being able to cast a insta-skill. I’m pressing the button but nothing happens, I can run around, I can see people run around, I’m getting crazy hits but my skills won’t go off.

A lot of people leave wvw because of this. :/

Tip of the day:
Split your zerg, have fun with all of your skills.

^This. Stop blobbing and steamrolling. I have had no skill lag in EB (apart from that when the cool kids blobs up in SM lord’s roomand makes the whole map lag) whatsoever because I never run in bigger groups than 15 people :>

15 man is what we do…. still 8 second lag. We’re not just talking massive fights either, we’re talking fights on the other side of the map in garrison say while we’re at orchard. It doesn’t help that we’re forced to zerg up to counter the incredibly large groups we’re finding.

If its any consolation, I did do it too AR as well :P

On a more positive note; I hope Piken enjoyed having their towers on EBG constantly flagged for about 3 hours. Was hilarious watching that zerg going from tower to tower trying to check whats going on and catch me. With that said I also had fun saving a guy from GNAM who was being hit by three AR’s. I’m glad you didn’t kill me after I saved you! Lots of Love Dius Ranger in Pink with the Quaggan backpack <3

Awesome reset at Piken Borderlands tonight. I think the Semper Yak force numbered 23 on its own with infantry pushing that number to 27-30. Epic clashes with EXE and SFRJ in garrison early on. Great fights with NR from AR too (Unlucky about longview, I was the guy who turned the corner to find you buffing up and managed to save our lives. :P)

I like it. I tend to Havoc squad a fair amount and previously when the enemy could just roflstomp the supervisor with/without the buff, I wasn’t really making too much of a difference to the map. Now when I decide to go wreak havoc I actually feel like I’m doing something very useful. Furthermore it is a great drain on the enemy when they have to direct people to stop the camps from flipping in the first place else lose a supply route for 5 mins

Loving it. Can have small scale fights with out being roflrolled by 50 people coz they’re attracted to shiny objects like the swords on the map.

It’s funny ingame when we hover over a party members name who is in WvW it says Yaks Bend ;P

If culling is truly fixed in this patch then I believe that ANet should supply me with fresh boxers alongside the patch.

Hammer Guardian in WvW is so fun… Loads of control. (Ring Of Warding, Immobilize, Knockback)

Personally a favorite of mine is waiting for a guildie to try and stomp someone, using Banish and then stealing the stomp ;P

Gandara has change a lot, this evening prove it a new time. Some fight in gandara borderland was awesome for exemple near to cliffside where a big and long fight takes place.

But i’m disappointed about garrison, the keep wasn’t “contested” (<=not sure about this word) when we killed the lord so you were able to respawn again and again :’(

Yea, we’ve been hit by that uncontested too, its because you have to hit a gate/wall to contest it, so if your doing a golem rush and you bust the gates before the event ends, that happens =( On that note; 90% of the people who defended actually ran there from outside so im pretty sure we could have still held it but it would have been a much longer and hard fought fight
