I thought that Garri fight would never end on GBL ._.. top effort from the Deso there, farmed us pretty good until we finally amassed the numbers to push you out. Although we did take out your stragglers a fair few times, just couldn’t ditch your main force for a long time. Ah well, was much fun ^^

DiVa is a merged guild between what was Semper Dius [Dius] and Far Shiverpeaks Vanguard [FSV] Hence DiVa. they have been on Gandara since it’s inception in September ^^ We were around last week as well, mainly on FSP BL’s though

Had a lot of fun slamming the DiVa’s into the big groups on AM Borderlands today. Got some really nice fights out of it! But hell that EXG + Pugs group, you guys were tough nuts to crack ^^ Kudos to you.

I also learnt; AM likes to defend it’s Northern Supply Camp… a lot. If we ever couldn’t find any fights, we just prodded that and BAM… AM, it was great fun.

Still having much funsies in this match keep it coming Boys + Girls

Awesome fun on EB for us :P Ran around 25 from 7.30BST onwards tonight which is like massive for us. Best fight of the night was either where we were sammiched in Pangloss or last fight against HoB which we lost due to general slack Thanks for those fights guys EB was very unzergy for the most part, dat PvE patch :P

Dropping in on the discussion wagon here;

1) I believe no, we cant drop the kitten or who the best is, coz quite simply GvG in this format it’s the only thing we GvG’ers can really aim for. It’s the reward for us. No special lootz, skinz or cash reward.

2) Contradiction! I do believe that kittening should be based on top guild beating other top guilds consistently, and as such the current leaderboard and way we are forced to GvG it is kind of negligible trying to measure who’s top dogs or not.

3) GvG in GW1 and 2… Apples, Oranges. Two hugely different modes. I prefer GW1, more complexity in my opinion blah blah. However should Anet dictate it so, then for all we know GvG in this setup could evolve into a more complex mode. (Haha.. I have my doubts if Anet would try this :P)

Finally, the vids are awesome and entertaining to watch, even if it is my guild getting munched by another :> Thanks for your work Ogre.

My favourite moment in reset night was, when Gandara and Jade Sea both attacked our garri’s inner. Gandara pushed into the lords room and Jade Sea went away from our garri. I don’t know why JS did that. It was very interesting. You had the numbers that’s for sure.

That’s because we were definitely chatting with JS on how to best screw over AG. Or something. Erm. They prolly figured it would be easy pickings once Gandara got it, as we are not known for defending stuff.

I didn’t say anything about you chatting with JS and teaming up for it man… I just pointed out that it was a bit confusing why they weren’t even trying to go in and cap it since they had the number advantage…

It’s not always using ‘Guard’ I was targeting an oil on SW SM when my Aptly named owl, ‘Hooters’ went up on the wall and started clawing out eyes. No guard skil lwasused… he just went all 90 degrees and flew up there :P

Looting while fighting… it isn’t just something you do, it isn’t just a skill.. it’s an artform.

Can vouch for Piken being an excellent server. Don’t worry about EU primetime slacking… been on the receiving end of that… it hurts alot. Lets just say, They don’t even use Butter.

But yea, last I knew was Piken was a very guild based server with a friendly community! (I played there too for a bit and they were very accepting )

Home 3rd of EBG + SMC = 35+25+10+10+5+5 = 90 points
Home Borderland = 25*3 + 10*4 + 5*6 = 145 points

Even if you don’t hold the bottom 3rd of your map, but maintain all 3 keeps and everything north of them:

Borderland = 25*3 + 10*2 + 5*3 = 110 points — More than EBG 3rd + SMC

I have no idea why I thought that was debatable… I’m a Melon ;P Either way, hard maths for you people ^ ;P

I don’t really care a lot about this match up tbh. It’s hard to find roaming guilds. A lot of blobs and point focused players from Kodash side, which doesn’t interest me too much.

Amazing night roaming for the first hour, epic fight at Lake tower against Kodash. Followed up by an absolutely intense and epic GvG against [FSV] (hey look GvG… haters gon hate 8-) ), tough nut to crack :< Glad we found our footing after the second round.

I once built an omega at a GvG…

Personally my problem lies in Skill lag. Too much zerging brings skill lag, which affects the whole map at once. I wouldn’t mind zergs if my 20man group had a chance to use it’s skills in an effort to fight back. Which sadly isn’t the case 99.9% of the time these days.

Dius made a hard decision tonight… a very hard decision. We saw marching forth across the plains of EBG, an army of mighty golems. We found them in Kodash territory… feelings of sadistic torment filled my soul as I peered upon the helpless parade of machinery… I ordered the buff… might stacks at 25, veil ready to be placed… lootbags/hilarious forum rantings were about to be made…

But then I was struck by kindness and I ordered the stand down… we showed those golems mercy FSP…

In all seriousness now, Thanks for leaving us to Klovan and thanks for the distraction in Kodash keep Shame you didn’t tier 1 it though :P, was hard work to not attack that golem train

Wasn’t a totally bad night. Sadly we fought one decent battle against Drakkars lake, then after taking Cliff, we mapped to RoF Borderlands to find a MASSIVE group of RoF so ended up working with TDA to take em out. For the enjoyable fights, I say thanks. See you in a few weeks probably ;P

Thanks for fights TDA, DSV and in the end Dius. It was fun until too many groups at once wanted to get our attention. Too bad that we couldn’t have some proper fights when you were waiting at south, but we had many YaKs coming from north >.< Looks like gandara decided to wipe every last RoF keep today :/

Dius had an okay night. There was nothing on EB so went GBL. Had a nice fight or three against DSun/DSV. Then moved to Drakkars BL and fought with TaG and DSB. Thanks for the fights guys!

Dius Ran 17 guildies, at peak tonight, we had like 5 pugs at times or when we fought DL in garrison. I’ll admit, YaK got involved sometimes but when we have Two guild groups (TaG and NaZ which equalled about 15-16 each?) bearing down on us, only so much we can do solo.

Its an in joke / tradition on gandara basically. We find it funny because we find dumb stuff funny.
It started when lloa (kinkywarrior) took a week off on piken when we were fighting them. When we killed him we threw a ram site on his body and vice versa.
We do it to a group on FSP too called lion (just because its fun to have a nemesis). TUP do it to players on our server, we all run around throwing rams in stupid spots and then laugh about it …
were easily amused lol.

Dont take it personally just laugh and take it in the spirit its intended. Next time you kill a jdge player stick a ram on his body and you can have a competition or something.

Please; Not once was I slain by a Random gandaran while on Piken.. a Group yes.. but there was this one guildie who caught me off guard and did get me down… but for some reason he couldn’t finish the stomp. Silly guildie!

Aye your were well prepped. I can only give kudos for that. We had cleared the entire North Inner and YaK had gone to work on the Inner north. However you did make us work for it. We were prepared for more siege and your raidevent. We had plans once we were inside ;P

Rule number 1 of fighting Gandara; If Orange swords appear during your fight, you have approx 2mins to end that fight win or lose before YaK arrive to tag for loot ;P
