Sorry but that’s the most idiotic thing I have ever read on these forums. If anything, BECAUSE of it’s status it SHOULD be dyeable. For example, the way the rainbow coloured/themed boxes of fun colour armour and weapons – that’s how the hellfire gloves could be coloured. I personally would want more orange looking hellfire gloves to match my destroyer staff because right now they’re too yellow.

Also saying that they can be colored the same way as the boxes of fun is invalid. That’s just a colored hue thrown on your character and set at a certain opacity so that the color seems like it was just painted over you. If you noticed; it takes away some of the better detail of armors.
fire has no color tho the inpureties in what your burning gives it color, and depending on what you define as hell it can be said that hell is where the soul is burning but then what color is the inpureties in the soul when burned.
and radient = light and light=all colors. so it should be able to change color in both of them but it should be done diffrently as radient needs to have a color chanceled to change its color and hellfire needs a new foul to burn changing its color

As stated before, there’s no reason for anyone else but Sylvari and Humans to go to Orr in reasonable numbers before it is cleansed. Logically implying that by the time Orr is cleansed the bulk of the population would likely be Sylvari and Human, just because they have a reason to go that isn’t simply “benefits”. They’ll go for religion, heritage, life purpose (Sylvari cleansing corruption), etc.

the crossing and the mad moon are skins and as it where stated that mf items would be taken off tp and made account bound then if you dont had a “the crossing” or “the mad moon” and you wanted the skins you would likely buy it and pay alot more then what you else would in the belief that you would not be able to get it anymore or atleast not into Halloween, and that could very well be the reason why the prices jumped at the last day before the patch, ofc it could also be inside tradeing.

While we as PCs can pass through gates for free, lorewise they’re expensive to use, especially for transporting freight. Most trade in Tyria still happens by conventional means, and it’s unlikely that the charr are going to want their supply lines relying on gates – especially since conversations in the area around the Black Citadel gate shows that the charr don’t really trust the gates.
More significantly, if the charr maintain good relations with whoever it is in Orr, then any food production in Orr that goes to the charr… doesn’t need to be done by charr, freeing up more charr to do do the actual fighting. If they maintain good relations with humans and Kryta beats off its enemies, there’s another potential source of food. Furthermore, any regions of charr territory that are not so hotly contested as Ascalon are all likely sources.
Right now, all your justifications are really coming across as “but…but…charr want to seize ALL of the land!” Which they may well want to, but they’ve also developed the political acumen to know that you can get more by being less overtly acquisitive.

Except that there’s that magical ritual to help Orr recover. We really don’t have any yardstick on whether that’s going to take years, decades, or centuries to spread to the entirety of Orr, but the Artesian Waters themselves are definitely cleansed.
@Korsbaek: Ports are to be expected, but don’t need any more of a claim than a guarantee of having the port. Heck, they could plant their embassy in the port area and kill two proverbial birds with one stone.
Regarding farms and factories, three points:
First, there would be logistical issues with having their war material being produced so far away.
Second, other races, humans and sylvari in particular, would likely object to Orr being turned into a charr munitions factory.
Third, in the case of food – as long as they retain good relations with their allies, any food supplies that get disrupted in their own homelands can be resolved by trading supplies with their allies – and the smaller the charr investment in Orr (or anywhere else), the more the charr will have to fight their enemies in their homelands.
the logistick nightmare is kinda easy to solve with a asura gate.
the other races have just as much to say as the charr in the matter so that would be both ways
food is always good to spread out so they have a reserve if something happens, and i doubt that the norn would be able to sustain the charr population if they lost all there farm land in there current land.

This game doesn’t have a lack of content. This game has a lack of people who know how to enjoy it without grinding, ascended items or carrots in a stick. Because if you, people, are only able to get fun grinding, I suggest you to apply for a job in a cardboard box factory instead of wasting your time playing. It something like gathering materials and you earn some real money at the same time.
So thanks to every dev who has made possible all the fun content. Specially Josh Foreman and his team, who has been able to add new enojoyable content despite isn’t farmable and his “only” reward is the fun. You are a genius, tyvm.

if we look at wow and its trinaty its a tank pulling some mobs and if he needs a smoke he just rolls one as he tanks. healer is able to do the same to a bigger degree if you take the gear treadmill out it just gets broken bad within 1-3 months where gw2’s pve is not the best yet but it has the potential to get beter where wow or trinaty just have tank’n spank maybe with a little twist of some kind

I’m talking about the ascended rings and accessories bought with laurels and commendations. I had 1 set for WvW and another with MF for PvE. Now there’s no reason to have 2 sets on 1 character and I would like to move them to an alt.
The ones I use are all zerker stats, and for WvW I use armor with some toughness/vit to make up the difference.
And no, it remains soulbound when you change the stats (I had it equipped when the change went live). So I’m stuck with 2 soulbound sets on my main.
i know what you meant and i still have a few diffrent sets of stats on rings, armor and weapons to diffrent builds its just impossible to play some builds without some stat combos so i need that in my oppinion.

To be honest, I think the influence of Trahearne and the Pale Tree only strengthens my position.
As the foremost modern scholar of Orr, Trahearne knows about Orr’s importance to humanity more than any non-human, and probably better than many humans when push comes to shove. Sylvari and humans also get along well – there’s an interview – I think it was the Wartower sylvari interview – where it’s mentioned that humans were the first race sylvari established friendly relations with. The Pale Tree’s ambassador to DR is a firstborn, and some ambient discussions around Kryta indicate that citizenry have no qualms about having sylvari in their nation. Thus, I’m pretty sure that the Pale Tree will recognise human interests in expressing her own opinion.
(Incidentally, I’m also inclined to think that sylvari would be the second largest population of a reconstituted Orr, if nothing else due to their interest in making sure the rehabilitation of the land succeeds. I also don’t think humans would have a problem with that, unless Orr ends up occupied by Cantha under Usoku 2.0.).
even as the foremost scholer of orr does not mean he will give to to humans in any way at all and the pale tree will not give it to humans just because it used to be human land, if the pale tree will push for giving it to humans then she will give reasons that will make it benefit the overall of the 5 races.

It was a human nation, and not just any human nation, it’s the ruins of their holy city and the one place on the world of Tyria they can really say is their homeland rather than having being taken from someone else who wants it back. No other race has even close to that degree of a claim, and I’d be surprised if either of Trahearne or the Order of Whispers was aware of that.

you mention charr but there are 4 nations in charr sociaty where flame legion land is mostly conquered by the other legions now but that does not change that if the land of the flame legion where helped to be taken back from the pact or other nations they should have a saying in how the land is used
so Humans have will most likely get the chance to learn about there roots in orr but its not a given that they get to claim the land for humanety in any way.
but in my oppinion it all comes down to how the pact handles it.
there are 2 ways i can think off eighter the pacted pacts up and jsut leaves when its done and then it will be a first come firsted served thing.

I was going to complain that CoF dungeon was always contested. Even with guest passed it’s taking to long to bother doing the daily. Using gw2bear.com I noticed while while NA servers seem to never be open, Euro server are all open. It can also be noted that woodenpotatoes (on youtube) stated that Euro servers have a healthy PvP populated, while NA is fail.
So is GW2 thrieve in Euro and dieing in NA? Should we be transferring to play on Euro servers? Should dev’s start closing down NA servers? (The game is much more fun on populated servers for PvE, WvW and PvP.)
the only explonation i can think of that i would not doubt myself is that NA has a different culture and situation then most of the EU players have or the fact that there lives a few more people in EU then in US

You know, what I perhaps think is worse about the whole Pavilion encounter, is that Jennah and Anise do not warn anyone of their plan. They don’t notify Logan, who would be loyal enough to sacrifice his life for this clone that everyone perceives to be Jennah. And Lord Faren even does so (thus kind of making a mockery of Logan really).
So Jennah almost got two people killed…. AGAIN! Just because… ehh… no good reason given.
As pointed out before, Scarlet should have been clever enough to anticipate that Jennah would pull such a stunt. This blunder directly conflicts with her character. And since Scarlet made a public threat towards the Queen and her celebration, shouldn’t she expect a mesmer trick? After all, she kind of provoked a response from Jennah. I’m assuming there’s more to Tequatl Rising than just his fight, though. The achievements they showed were permanent boss related achievements. There’s going to be a meta (I assume) tied to it that’s in a Living World category, too.

I wonder what will happen to Explorer’s insignias and inscriptions on that fateful day? Will we be able to convert those too?
If so, then my Explorer’s insignia would become, say, a Zerker insignia that’s account bound. However, account-bound insignias don’t beget account-bound armor (or do they?). This means there may be a way to circumvent Anet’s intention of preventing converted MF items from being TP’d. Or am I totally wrong?

ArenaNet has already said they will not be adding mounts to Guild Wars 2 (before Guild Wars 2 was even released). That’s why they added waypoints.
and thats why there are mounts ingame already called riding brom(its a mount tho only for looks)

1. that is a dubbled edge sword to as removeing the cap could also get people to ball up even more and use boons like retaliation to insta kill anyone toching them and use huge amoung of healing in water fields and the like.

in the time that orr is cleansed(depending on the time it takes) the race with the most space problems and the means to populate it will get the right to establish a colony there tho with eighter the lion guard or the pact itself makeing sure all races can use the land and visite the tombes and such if they want to.

Sorry for the off topic but this isn’t the only RNG way to get skins. Look at fractal skins. You can farm forever and not get the correct rare skin you want. I know someone that’s got almost all of them except the one he wants, some multiple times.
you cant farm forever and not get the skin you want math says your wrong there.
the chance is low yes but given the skins are there permanently(some of them) i think its ok as its something you get slowly very slowly

I was kinda hoping for a sale on bag slots, since I want some new bag slots on my thief alt, and the price has doubled since I bought them for my main.
to my knowlege the price for bag slots have remained the same trough out the games history exepet on the sales periodes but they have never increased in normal price
