the only one i can think haveing a stronger claim then the scandinavian kingdoms is the old royal roman empaier as they predates that so if any other famiely can trase there roots to a Ceasar then they have stronger rights yes.

as said i dont thinkg humans are going to get it as a solo rule but as stated orr will most likely be a counsel with most of the power(and all races have a chance for getting a spot in said counsel) and the monarch being more of a passive role with some power to help the people but still open for all like LA is today.

is it right that the rare bag reward from the gauntlet gives more then the masterwork(master work is tier 2 and rare is tier 3) as i get 2-3 silver for the rare and 7 or so from the masterwork

and there you say it can only be done by power that is what history shows does humans have the power to go agienst the other 4 races if they said that they cant have it?

Don’t read too much into that type of wording. I’m just hedging because there are a lot of things we don’t talk about until they are close to release. We want to work on new maps and those maps are going to be awesome.

Why not introduce more ‘hardcore maps’ where downed state and AOE limits are removed/lifted + more balanced states like spvp -boon duration etc-, allowing ascendant/legendary appearances but limiting stats beyond exotic armor etc.

Don’t force anyone to go into it and make the reward from running it minimal so it exists for game play purposes. That way you please the hardcore pvpers and not alienate the casuals -who will welcome hardcore groups leaving the regular wvw zones and not one shotting them etc.

i agree on the downstat but AOE is more damageing to zergs then anything else as without aoe limit if the zerg reach a migic number its indestruckteble completly full hp every water field tens of thoudsens of damage from retaliation and they still have not attacked you just used blast finnishers in light and water fields thats all;)

but i would personly like that they gave a reason for fighting other then honor and pride. plus a change to some of the maps or new maps. also make it so strategy and tactic does a hell lot more then running in one huge ball(can be done by makeing the map bigger and only 1 wp at a corner)

Wrong. By human law, if a relative of the last king of Orr is found, this person would have the right to restore the kingdom of Orr. Just like Wade Samuelsson has the right to restore the kingdom of Ascalon, he just chose to not do that, so he wouldn’t risk the treaty with the Charr.

you cant upgrade it(atleast not yet) as there is no recipy for upgrading it to the rare version

confusion most likely needs a small buff in my oppinion but the new runes needs a huge nerf on the other hand(make it 1 stack of confusion for less time would help)

that depends on how my make a precpurser in the forge, if example you want dawn but dawn only have a chance if the exotic comming out else would be x or y with 5% chance of it being dawn instead of one of thoes then comes how many of x or y did you get?(useing dawn as a example set in any precourcer instead) that will make a very small chance for creating a precourcer and it will also be very hard to predict

tho i still do not belive that the MF is random but thats mostly based off my view of the world as nothing can be random in that view but it can have the illusion of being random tho

Mmmk so I’ve probably spent around 3k gold in the forge. 15 precursors later heres what i can tell you.

Diminished returns can seem likely when you hit a rough patch. I’ve done 6-700g worth with nothing, but just 3 nights ago i popped 3 dawns in a 3-4 hour span. No diminished returns, this is just how the RNG works.

As far as anything being guaranteed, I really don’t think we can say that there is a guarantee. I am pretty sure that dumping 3k rares into the forge could very well net you with nothing. At the end of the day, the RNG is so bad and the numbers are so low that you are never guaranteed. I’ve gone from 800g, to 0g back to 400g, then to 900g, then to 150g and then to 1200g. All this obtained without hitting astronomical numbers like 1600 greatswords.

People in this thread have stated, your chances to get a pre are the same on your first try as they are on your 100th try. It literally comes down to luck. The only trend I’ve noticed was getting named exotics. Go dump 100g in the forge and count the named exotics you get. The more you get, the higher the chance to get a pre on your next batch of 50 staves. Of course, thats just my observation so it could mean fk all to everybody else. Again, it’s all luck and even my small sample size of 15 won’t do much in helping others.

there is no deminishing return but there is the mathmatic law stateing that doneing something anough times will get you what you want.
its simply proven with a coin tose where you want heads first we do 1 its 50/50 but now we do 10 is your chances still 50/50 after 10 tosses to get a single or more heads?
i know that the chances for a precourse is not 50% but a hell lot lower but that just means a hell lot mor trys to get closer to 100%

doing somehting enough times will make it close to 100% you will get your precourse and thats even without deminishing returns and all.

and humans abandon it or threw it out so they lost the right to reclaim it.

so none have the right the reclaim it but i gess if one of the races truely needs the space the would get it but given how it is right now i dont think anyone want it and the only race that looks like they might need it in the future would be sylvari if they can get a new tree to grow there.

If the increase from 400 to 500 crafting adds an additional tier of resources the value of t6 mats could drop drastically. Putrid essences are not currently undervalued given what they can be used for, investing in them now hoping that they will be used in future crafting recipes is purely speculative.

You could always try the Moa track.

if i remember right path 3 is with a sylvari warden could it not be that she used logic to deduct that zheitans creaturs are from our time and can be found agien somewhere in tyria( as if im not much mistaken lupi is the only one from a extict race)

TA FW/UP end boss is not hard and you dont need alot of reflects(tho it makes it easyer) just get one to kite the spiders that spawns(preforeble one with very high uptime on swiftness) its realy not that hard when you get used to it(would gess the boss could be soloed given enough time and a good enough kiteing)

i normaly kite the spiders when i do the path and unless i mess up big time they will rarely touch/hit me and the teammates will have a very easy job(normaly does it on a guardian)

i have no problem if the seats sold are people leaving of own free will or its because they did it with less people but if its because they kicked someone so they could sell then thats a diffrent story.

sorry but each of the GvG guilds most likely do a hell lot more for the matchup then your guild does when all is counted and instead of going to do some pve they do a gvg and they will normally not interupt your game play when they do plus it gives the a chance to fight agienst someone that also have a orginaced groupe and knows how to do open field combat

the only thing i can see agienst gvg is that they might take spots on a map that is needed but then try ask them to move map because you need to slots for defenders;)

and if there is no que then the are not takeing spots so if they gvg then they will proberly help when they done but if they had no place to have fun and do what they want they would most likely not play the game and then you lose them permanently instead of 2 hours a day(and thats very high sat)

given its a sea monster it might be something that they think is a elder dragon minion but in realety is something else;) but we dont know but we will see what happened at the reactor soon

I’ve done the fight, but getting Light Up The Darkness achievement is practically impossible. It’s so stupid to have temporary content achievements that are this insanely difficult. So many people will never be able to even get past phase 1 of this fight. Just because I am a hardcore gamer does not mean this fight is okay, I want my friends to have a chance. It needs a nerf bad.

its stated to be a fight not everybody can do because it is hard and i think it fits that without the bugs ofc.

im not overly obsessed with humans but im looking at it from the human standpoint of what i would do if i had a gate that could send a army into the center of my city i would defendly not make it so they have a easy time if they try do that and i will have some secourty messuars that none knows of with the exetion of a selected few.

i will say that the gates cant be used to invade a city in anyway(maybe with the exeption of the grove but thats because the sylvari is so naive) as all races know atleast how to hold there ground and dont leave so big holes in there defense and thats what you dont give them.
and if the asura tryed to go trojan kinda thing then they would still have to bypass the defense we dont even know or see is there so i will say good luck with killing or stopping the mechanichs that aktivet when they do something like that

you dont seem to understand that your trying to do something where you need to kill all the gate guards at approxemently the same time plus the once you dont even know where is else you will most likely get killied in seconeds if not less and a asura is not smarter then a human or charr when it comes to war and strategy.

So someone could play GW2 for 10 years every day and still not get a Precursor. Its unlikely but 100% possible and there in lies the problem.

The only 100% way is buying it on the TP

nope im not wrong each has the same chance yes but if you do enough with that chance then your stacit chance is higher its simple math example if you do it 10% chances looking before you done it you will have more then 10% chance to get someting you need;)

its not a lottery(as at a given time the chance for you to not get a precourser will be so close to 0% chance for not getting it, that it will be demed impossible not to get it(based of math) tho precourcers is something they have stated are to hard to get and are trying to fix it somehow

I dont care about the armor people are wearing either for the most part. The point I am trying to make is that people demand zerker because it allegedly means you have a better understanding of the mechanics of the game because you don’t rely on your armor and you know how to use your skills better. There are exceptions such as condition necros and engineers.

i totaly diagree i close to never uses zerker gear dont like it and its rubish(totaly my oppnion) but i still know enough about my class and know how to use it and its abiletys to pull of anything the zerker play that will stand next to me say is eighter impossible(solo the flame and frost dungoen(it where possible tho time consuming)) or you need to have high damage to do?

from what i know there are more then 30 as i had 1 that where opened without me getting loot or ahviemnt count for it but i still manged to get 30 platforms

the question should then be how much does the races genneral publick know of the pact and to say the least its commanders and admirel? it might be something that only the orders know about and a few very high standing people in the races know and dont share for fear of getting it out so the enemy can go after the commanders of the armys.

tho thats only a possiblety where any human will know of the hero of shaemoor;)

Likely not mass produced as we see no factory to build them, and human technology has always been based around individual craftsmen and artisans. They haven’t mastered industry on a large scale yet. Jennah has likely been having these built one by one for a very long time, or has hundreds of engineers working diligently somewhere.

Based on mechanics, the shatterer & the claw are both stronger than zhaitan. Zhaitan = dead by 5 players. Shatterer, claw, & clockwork legendaries = zerg fights of 50 players. They’re at least 10 times stronger.

Usually there’s zerg(s) in the Pavilion, they get about 100 kills per 10 minutes. Usually there’s two zergs…so 200 kills per 10 minutes…on 51 servers + 5ish overflow servers…11,200 kills per 10 minutes. You mean to tell me the humans cannot mass produce these things, they’re individually crafted, and yet they can produce one every 0.05 seconds? If that’s not mass production, I don’t know what is. Even if we’re assuming the worlds are separate, 200 kills in 10 minutes leaves an average production time of 3 seconds. I guess another possibility would be that you’re not actually killing them and the humans have mastered the craft of the self-repairing, infinite-life span soldier…in which case I ask again; how strong are these things?

zhietan where starving(or should be from dening food to him) lore wise zhietan > elder dragon champion > clockwork knight.

the respawn rate is so the zone will not be emphty very long and has nothing with the production to do and defendly not over all the servers;)

looking at the fight with loggan and the clockwork is proberly the best at showing how strong they can be(given they fight toe to toe)

if TP is the only way then i must have used the tp in wvw when i picked up howl there and not long after someone in my groupe picked up truth(axe), so the precourcers are dropping n the world but its nothing you should be going for to get it that way but it is still a way

it is possible(you said so yourself that your friend at level 42 did it)
you will have a hell of a time with some of the tier 3 fights but that still dont make them impossible but it makes them insanly hard but your stil able to do the content(if you win or lose is something else)

strange i have not needed to go as much zerker as the op is in hes screenshot(14k hp is almost base hp for guardian as its only 10,8k and thats without any trait or stat bonuses and hes health is possible to get at 387 vitalety in total its very zerky) given that im at last boss and in no point have i been under 17k hp and 2,5k armor and most of the time i where around 19-20k hp with 2,8k -3k armor and did most with that so its defendly possible without going full zerker

i will not go into if the nightmare court is evil or the other sylvari is evil as i belive its a mather of point of view nothing else, but all that the nightmare court is the sylvari looking into the suffering of some people and falling to despair truelly belives that the pale tree is corrupting the other sylvari.

but for all we know the scarlet person could very well be the sylvari. Tho scarlet is only the front figure of the mastermind(i dont belive any mastermind that dont want to get court will show herself to anyone will doing her plans), so if we say that the sylvari is the front figure then we have a person in the shadows pulling the strings and that could be any race so far(tho for some reason i belive its a human female nobel(forgot her name) but shes present at the south shore event, shes there when we go with loggan to talk about the crimes at dragon bash, tho cant remember if shes there in flame and frost.
What better way to be less suspective then play stupied and be present in a event like that knowling fully well you can defend yourself tho none else knows?

i agree that makeing us able to “fix” the wallet would be nice(with resizeing and moveing of stuff) tho it might be a nightmare to program

Anet is slowly killing off alts and I don’t understand why… Alts are one of the main driving forces to keep players around, yet every decision kills them a little more.

1. It started with fractals… oh fractals are character bound so you can progress on each characters… (i.e. screw you alts, you have to run 50 fractal runs just to get back to the skill level you are at)

2. Next was laurels… Oh sorry this reward is account bound so your alts will take forever to gear up…

3. Then came daily bonus chests… what you only made alts to get bonus rares? L2GW2!!!

4. Next came WvW ranks… oh you want to play an alt in WvW, sucks to be you, all your bonuses are gone now (i.e. “progression”)

5. After that came time gated crystals… oh you can only get one of these magical crystals a day, good luck ever building gear with these crystals on your alts… that will take 100 years…

6. Here we arrive today with dungeon rewards being switched to account bound for gold AND tokens.

Every time one of these things happened the blind Anet defenders came and swarmed shouting their typical chant… "what you only play alts for X, Learn 2 GW2 and play the “right” way!"

Well guess what… there is no longer a single area of the PvE game left that alts aren’t penalized for, guess it’s time for a new excuse.

1. is easy now as it is fixed(with the exeption of ar but thats something else), lets say that your level 99 on your main and level 1 on your alt, what happens if one in your party opens the fractal will your on your main in LA(same server as him/her) and he opens level 99(fiktiv number i know) and you log your alt?

2. given the amount of laurels needed to gear a alt with full trinkets and amulet will take how long(remember that only amulets are a must from luarals so far) so not a major problem in my oppinion to it does set the person with 8-9 alts back some time but thats all.

3. your bonus rares is all that keeps you in the game? its made to keep the econemy from overflowing;)

4. i understand that as its anoing but it might be because that they cant make a system that makes it possible to have 2+ sets on the same level so you can only have 1 set for all your toons witch i think is worse as my guradian wont have the same as my ele before very late.

5. that i will agree is anoing and worse for alts but how many toons can you need with celestrial stats(given the stats can be trown around tho expensiv) at the same time?

6. the dungoen part is to stop some of the mis use of the system that where before(atleast thats my oppinion and sems to be anets to)

in pve/dungoens zerker stats does the most for the groupe given that the person in the gear knows how to dodge and migret damage somehow. but thats mainly because anet has not made the content that forces you to be able to take some hits from something so that the bose/event can be done, when they do that surviavle stats will be needed in dungoens but not before unforntly

we dont know and pretty much have know way of knowging it unless a person from anet say it will or will not

golem rushes is the new meta(i will not debate if i agree its fun or not at the moment)

and as said GH have got new people and lost a few but without getting any i would have gess the matchup would have been somewhat more fair/closer but that would still not change the fact that golem rushes would be the meta.

siegeing agienst a keep or tower is easy and always has even at t3 and when they where fully aced, as i cant find a spot where i cant get a counter to hit that you will have a nightmare hitting and please dont call anyone walking loot bags as that is not a nice thing to do.

people need to calm down a little and have fun its all this game is about(or nay other game for that matter), i agree a lively debate is good for the matchup but beginning insulting is not part of that atleast thats not in my oppinion

i could say im disepointed in UW but thats because i overrated them(given the fact i never fought agienst them before) but that does not make UW worse then they are as from my prespectiv you guys are very tactical and i have a hard time fighering out what your next move is, and i love that type of warfair and we are mainly winning because of our coverage and numbers(atleast to some degree).

I seriously hope this is the last time we face GH. Bandwagon server that can only golem rush, it’s killing so much of the fun.

i will not say that GH have not gotten new people as we have but golem rush have been the meta for longer then GH have begon getting a influxe of players so please dont say it like that as it goes for every server i have meet to(and yes we do it to)

GH have gotten a few guilds and it means alot in the match yes but i gess it would not mean as much as to give them the total reason we win tho a big part of it is yes

My problem is you CAN’T farm. There really is no choice to it. Some days when I got a few hours to kill, i’d like to be able to pop a movie on my tv or second monitor and just relax by mindlessly farming mobs that are known to drop X mat which I might need but I can’t since the drop rate is so horrible, that even with full MF gear and food, it is more productive to run cof p1 500 times a day and just buy the mats I need. So really it boils down to if you need a precursor or mats or anything requiring gold, you got 2 choices, run cof p1 till you puke or bust out the credit card buy gold in the form of gems.

This changes with the patch but only in the fact now I can’t even farm cof p1 for quick cash. The drop rates are still gonna be ridiculous but I guess we’ll see.[/quote]

i would like to know what mats that are so hard to get that in the timespane of a movie(1 hour and 45min or there about) could make more gold doing cof1 to buy mats instead of killing mobs to get the mats (unless its not t5-6 mats you need) as they should be fairly easy to get killing mobs the right places

and drop rates in wow where a hell lot worse if you begin looking at it as you have karma for exotics and you have drops and dungeons for it to, in wow if you should have best in slot(latest tier) and needed a full set i would say you needed to be happy if you got it in a month(4 resets) as wow had once a week bosses to kill instead of once a day(tho they also had them)
