If it was just 2 sides, things would get more lopsided than they already are. Three sides adds a huge change up to fights…. generally the third side gets to be king maker. That is one of the things I enjoyed back when SoR was a huge under dog.

The current meta ISN’T to throw numbers at a target. There’s more tactics involved than that, and the top guilds continually involve and try to improve their play.

I love when people keep bringing this up for the guilds that lost to RG during those GvGs. So what does that make of the guilds that continuously get wiped day in and day out by these guilds that apparently are so bad? They are clearly worse by extension then, correct?

The funniest part: The Guilds who actually challenged RG, and lost, took the occasion to do further gameplay analysis and inward reflection. In the end making our teams stronger and even more unstoppable in WvW.

One of the best things to happen to TW in this game.

Barely have a queue for anything in NA besides reset night.
It’s more along the lines of “how much more dominant do we need to be?”
We’d much rather pad BG and JQ queues with extra victims so there’s still people to fight after the first wave ragequits.

Any guardian claiming success with 12.5k HP in wvw should be viewed sceptically.
Still, due respect to the fellows taking time to unmask the troll mathematically.

Fondly remembering a time when BG and JQ discussed kicking SoR back down to T2..

That is my exact point. In the Zerg Meta it doesn’t matter what class composition they are, all that matters is that you can focus fire DPS in a spot, instant-down a couple people and survive long enough. You don’t need to go CSI on a group and find out their exact composition and what weapons/builds they are running… the tactics don’t change.

I disagree with this. There is a reason why some guilds in this game are more successful than others in WvW.

I understand that, but the point I was making is that not knowing 7-8 people’s class in a zerg is not needed to win, which is what the issue of the Ghost Tonics created and was being discussed. Composition is important, that’s not the issue here. The points that were brought up is “tonics hide classes” and how that means you can’t win a fight is beyond me.

As a fellow Tab-and-spammer I completely agree. I have no idea what classes outside of my own are doing, what animations represent which incoming effects and such. It’s all irrelevant anyways, the true course of victory is to follow on the heels of mysteriously successful guilds. How they are more successful is beyond me, hacks or something I guess. Because it’s impossible that someone might be more skilled or have put more study into the game than me. After all, my teacher in kindergarden said EVERYBODY is special, and that means I’ve an inherent ability to be the best at any given thing.

We’ve been playing a lot more EB lately. Guilds/players seem to run from the fights a lot less. Not sure what the difference is in dynamics between EB and the BLs.

Think they’re not as well trained in EB. It’s been severely impacting our stockpiles of droppable merchants, and what to do with all these darn badges?? One only needs so many golems.

Been great to see Agg in there too! Quickly becoming a fan <3

HOD before the game was released the “titan alliance” set about to absorb guilds to cover all timezones for wvw pretty much making it so noone had a shot against them

JQ got alot of xfers to them when HOD broke up

SBI then recruited a few more guilds and there sea pushed well into EU

SOS then got alot of the bg transfers that left the server after there first drop outa t1 mix that with the ET guilds and Some hod FOE from et PRX hod

JQ then went ona mass recruit to beat sos

BG followed there example and mass recruited that with them having the only eu plus late sea pushing the eu time zone

SOR then followed to Counter BG’s sea/eu coverage

and that covers t1, altho for the most part t1 for the pass month has been the closes its ever been

now cut the bullkitten crying out JQ u have had ur shot twice now to change the state of t1 and u didnt. BG ur Sea along with ur EU pushed into that eu timzone ticking for 400-500 many times and now ur upset ppl recruit to counter ur PUshes ???

T1 has always been a tier of recruit to counter wut the other server is doing. JQ recruited to counter sos. BG then recruited SEA to counter JQ and seeing Bg had EU it made them Crazy strong. SOR then countered this by recruiting EU coverage

my guess is that in the coming weeks/months JQ or bg will mass recruit to counter SOR or one will implode(which i doubt) and TC or DB will get the bulk of there numbers creating another t1 server

Can some TW member confirm that you know this guy is posting on these forums aggressively (and frequently)? What a nice representative of the guild.

Asking players and guilds to leave the server they have been on since launch; leave their friends and the people they enjoy playing with, for some vague sense of balance is unreasonable. Player created solutions to population issues have failed time and time again over the past ten months.

It’s simply unrealistic to assume that asking servers to “shed” vital members of their community won’t simply result in the creation of another stacked server coming out on top, as has happened in the past.

Not to mention the only reason BG and SoR are as stacked as they are, is a certain Jade Quarry had such a “great community” that noone could bear to leave. As you have sown….

I think you should probally hop into Doc Browns Delorean and yell hootie who and come back to the future. Because RUIN hasn’t been a zerg guild since the 4th month of this game. RUIN fields maybe 20 – 25 people if we can all get in on reset. We use to be able to field 100- 160 people when all of our members were on playing guild wars 2. Although when they release new maps I can promise you that you will see RUIN as a zerg guild.

Although next time you decided to make some comments about RUIN and how large and what type of guild it is you may want to have actual facts instead of false trolling facts.
