They’re the people with blue doritos, those aren’t game commanders (well, sometimes). Most any GM has the power to do so. But this should really be done by a reference… Some of our finest forum trolls might even assist once they see this.

I think you misunderstand me. I was joking about listening to indo lol. I have only been in your combat channel 1 time and it was months ago when I was invited in by a friend of mine in choo and I made sure to not be in wvw while listening to them.

Since then I have never been in any of your combat channels. I was not even on the ts when I got banned. I told them about the karaoke and that I would stop in later and when I tried to stop in that night I was banned.

Oh I completely understand the need for it in certain situations. All I’m saying is I don’t appreciate that just because I have the info means I’m a spy and must be banned.

Unlike some people on all our servers I don’t hate my opponents. While I do have a healthy hate for them on the battle field I don’t carry that over to other aspects of my play. This allows me to have friends on many servers and certain peoples over reaction to the fact that I know the info has hurt my ability to enjoy my play time.

Not saying it’s wrong of you to ban spies. Just saying the over reaction is not appreciated and the allegations are somewhat insulting.

The thing is the FREQUENCY of issues we’ve had. It’s routine to have general trolls as well as actual nefarious types to punt. So the banhammer crew works quick, all action.
When you’ve got 40 people in a channel things can get messy in a hurry. And, there are non-combat channels for general yak. Pretty much anyone can pop into them, ’cept SF.. Gotta have standards.

Okay Leto, Hoots, TW and some others. How about we lay off the antagonistic Blackhole comments? I know there is a history/rivalry here but it’s pretty uncool to those who are out there every night, as well as those who have chosen to make BG their home but may be struggling with attendance.

Regarding transfers to JQ, I personally think they may be at a bit of a disadvantage due to human nature. People tend to like to see the “big dog” fall, and the “underdog” rise and become the new “big dog”. The fact is, of the current T1 servers, even with their recent slump, JQ still has 12 more T1 wins and 15 more medals than the next closest server. Until there is a bit more balance in the overall win count, this may be a continued drag in their efforts to recruit WvW guilds (assuming my thoughts on the matter are even remotely valid).

If you want TW to lay off the antagonistic comments… the best way to do that is to go out in the field and fight them.

No doubt they’ll send the new hope off to SoRbl without any warnings to bring tissue or ointment like they did poor [rise] a scant few weeks back.

They’ve been the server to beat during NA prime since at least November if not earlier. I don’t see that changing anytime soon. BG and SoR have a contentious history but I don’t let that get in the way of my offering the respect their NA crew deserves.

BG has a longer history with SoR than JQ does. I can only speak for when they’ve been in T1.

Now I am not down playing any of you guys on SoR and congrats on this weeks win and last weeks win, I think it is much deserved for you guys. Although lets not forget it is only becuase of IRON you guys are in the position you are in. Any how grats on winning.

This doesn’t change the fact SoR be it good in their own rights have IRON to thank for their recnt wins. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but lets not beat our chest no Choo, TYSM, Fear, and TW. Although Again grats on your wins, keep up the good work

And yes SoR had a good force on NA primetime, and you won your fair share of battles, yet at the end of the week you still held 3rd place. Hot competition of jq vs sor and iron made a mistake going to sor and just killing the chances of balance considering its been fairly stable sor being ahead by far for weeks now. Using this quote and going off of what your TW friend said above it seems like you guys always had the coverage if you take away EU. You guys are ticking the same as JQ SEA with the return of your guys SEA guilds. So it seems to me you guys always had a chance at winning, but your SEA guilds were not showing up or were testing? Whatever it may be adding a EU guild did balance it while your SEA guilds were gone. However now you guys are doing much better with your SEA at least ticking 200 and now the 400+EU. My point I’m trying to make is honestly without IRON if your SEA would’ve been what it is now. You guys could have won in my opinion. Keep up the good fights and good games.

I do agree in a sense. Except that JQ sea was undisputed then. It’s been weakened some now, SoR sea mostly held on in a portion of 2 maps while foo rampaged. The big issue was then BG and JQ during EU. Plenty of times I watch our sea logout only to see EMP or WM come wipe us out. Y’all can cry foul now, suits us fine.
But fact was before iron both servers didn’t blink about robbing us blind during EU. And if they left you’d be right back to it.

Behind the scenes, we are nabbing all the new transfers, taking them down through the heavily guarded Blackgate and to the depths of the earth where we are harvesting their brains and fusing them all together to form a “super brain”. Once it’s ready, this “super brain” will rise through the depths and embed itself right in these very forums, where it will begin to respond to trolls and in turn troll our competitors at a level so incredible and downright heinous that our competitors will explode from within.

You know, I have always hated JQQ. I think they’re the biggest bunch of whiners around and i love seeing them lose but the rubbish that comes out of your guildies’ mouths are pretty cringeworthy considering you’ve just transferred and already you’re acting like you carry the server while SoR had been competent to begin with.

Winning, losing, it don’t matter. I’ve seen server come and go, from back when Henge was dominating to the rise of JQ to SoS. Look at Kaineng and where they are now. Nobody wins forever. No one lose forever. The only thing that matters is how you present yourselves. Sure, it’s all for giggles. Sure it was just trolling to get the blood pumping. That doesn’t stop you from being a prik though.

There are better ways to go about getting a fight; being a forum warrior isn’t one of them.

We never ever stated we carry SoR. For all i know th reason we have it “so easy” is because SoR’s SEA and Oceanic.

But i was scouting yesterdays JQ zerg in Eb yesterday. They ran with atleast 60 players taking every BG they could consume. We even circles around the BGkeep to catch them. And we were 25 iron with 15-18 allies..
Still they ran towards bravost and stayed in. We started trebbing them. And instead of coming out, they start counter trebbing.

On BG border earlier that evening we had no competition. Thats the only reason we went to EB.
Guesz we’ll get some good fights this weekend.

Ohm you guys brought over a massive army that no one have numbers to compete against. RK is the only active EU wvw guilds on any of the servers that have numbers close to yours and you outnumber us by 10-20 people in most cases.

This information was available to you when you transferred over. When BG goes down a tier or get mixed out there will be no forces left to fight you. We have the latest Asian going into EU. This was all known information.

You’re not the only EU force on JQ. You have near a dozen board contributors from EU kitten . Between you and BG sea stripping us during this time… How do you not drown in so much bullkitten? Lol

That is why we in Black Gate are stuck in a bad position.
Right now there are only 2 active Borderlands SoR and BG. So we will be hit by both SoR who now have the strongest EU and JQ who are hungry for scraps.

The thing JQ lacks are guilds willing to duke it out with a SoR zerg and they go for what is easy and SoR have no choice, but to go to BG.

Overall it is a small mater. If i am i am no longer sick in a few hours then i will come on and go after SoR like i always do. After all there is no fun in fighting some one who do not have more numbers.

JQ does not avoid fights with SoR. Reset night for example SF and friends took Their home map hoping Their N/A best was there. We cheered when we found TW in hills. We knew it was on…and some great fights were to be had for the rest of the night.

What happened? While I was working on inner hills about 10 minutes after reset, Blackgate ended up ignoring everything SoR…and coming into the hole i made in hills…and attacked JQ

Then kept attacking us for the next 2 hours while doing their best to ignore or avoid fights with SoR. In fact each time i figure i’ve given Blackgate enough of a beating and i switch to attacking SoR..you guys come right back for more and hit JQ

So forgive me when i laugh at you here for even making this post. And forgive me for making a point in flipping Blackgate’s garrison 3 times so far this week and everything else i see of yours paper because of your laughable tactics on reset night

I don’t mean to butt in but, where is BG SEA? You guys aren’t yourself atm.

BG SEA used to be heavily supported by MERC as well. Seems like MERC doesnt feel like completely carrying the server as much as they used to.

There is currently a huge BG zerg on EB, im sure all of their current active forces, but that is probably because they only have 2 viable targets to defend atm, and no one wants to go to DC bl to try to cap their hills.

That is why we in Black Gate are stuck in a bad position.
Right now there are only 2 active Borderlands SoR and BG. So we will be hit by both SoR who now have the strongest EU and JQ who are hungry for scraps.

The thing JQ lacks are guilds willing to duke it out with a SoR zerg and they go for what is easy and SoR have no choice, but to go to BG.

Overall it is a small mater. If i am i am no longer sick in a few hours then i will come on and go after SoR like i always do. After all there is no fun in fighting some one who do not have more numbers.

Also a side question for SoR are you actually getting real fights. I MEAN REAL FIGHTS! not getting stuck outside a slow siege, but a moving fight.

I was on JQ when Indo and TW were here. I think they were instrumental in getting our act together and getting the server organized initially to get to #1 when we did.

Personally, I think any server that has them is lucky if for no other reason alone than they are able to bring organization and build the community on the server they play on. The fact that they also hold their own on the battlefield is just a bonus.

That being said, their forum warriors need to take it easy, they don’t do their guild rep justice. I know they don’t care either way but just my opinion.

Well, this is the part where I point out that our guild zeitgeist is INTENTIONAL.
It’s no accident that we do things our opponents don’t like. We play the monsters, always have. We are the black to balance the white, yin to the sweethearts yang.
We’re used to being outnumbered and despised, it’s completely fine by us. Target rich environment.

Have you ever played a pvp game where superficial animosity wasn’t present? It’s not the utopia some might think. No our guild rep is fine, it’s Indo’s design and it’s as unique as the GM himself. Tell me you don’t water at the mouth thinking about rubbing our smug posts in our faces. In fact I would counter that our opponents need to be harassed MORE as so many STILL haven’t surrendered solo play in a game so completely rewarding team coordination.

Anet did mention they were starting the optimization process.
At least the pain comes with a promise of better things to come. It’d be great to have those massive battles happening without the current lag and fps drop.

Not so serious, but there’s a deeper truth on JQ that non-JQ expats don’t understand.. Like why they’re so stable in the upper tiers.
I challenge them because we deserve to fight a JQ united. Not a JQ reliant on so few and on hours outside NA. They’re just old and stubborn like me! And more than a few of them agree with me.

This exactly. While the folks on JQ were tapdancing on sos’s grave we grieved the loss of a superior opponent. You have noone to blame but your own denizens for Tsym moving to the server which offered them dignity and honor.
You have the people onboard, the cumulative experience in pvpmmo’s on JQ is incredible. But since launch those veterans have been content to PuG. This clinging to the past must end, this is tier 1 NA. Every server here can field a force to challenge SoR. Other timezones may be a contest of numbers. For NA prime on NA servers the best possible will be brought or they will go home. We demand this only because it is possible.
