Uhm, the TS numbers last night for JQ BL were around 26 choo, 27-30 HL, and 25 HEL. So whoever that BG dude is who says we have one guild per BL zerging it up, youre wrong. We all ran independently and all encountered the massive JQ blob and BG Zerg. It’s a shame open field fighting on the other servers is all about stacking numbers, and not putting out strategic teams that work with one another to perform different duties across a map. Maybe your tactics aren’t working out over there with your blabbing guys :p

I love SoR, I really do and I have a ton of respect for so many of the guilds over there and what you guys were able to accomplish a few months ago with smaller numbers but please don’t try to pretend your underdog tactics of consolidation and map jumping did not create the blob meta we are living under today. I was hopeful once SoR started winning more often some of your guilds would consider returning their smaller scale sized roots but it is not surprising they are sticking to the plan or feeling obligated to dance with the one that brung ya.

JQ suffers a lot more in this regard having a lot of independently minded smaller guilds who like doing their own thing but we embrace our renegade nature and just keep on trying our darnedest. I must really need to play in some other time zones to get a chance to meet this JQ blob you speak of.

They are ruining the Que’s for those who actually care to WvW. I doubt anything will be done but I’d like to pass the info out to the rest of SoR and JQ in why you are having longer que times.

Pretty sure the 3200 gems I purchased to transfer over to JQ (and back) temporarily is perfectly acceptable to Anet.

Roughly $500 in gems for the lot of us to venture across.

Meh I don’t care really. It’s their game account and cash/gold. JQ didn’t have any queues anyways from what I saw. What I do dislike a bit however is playing for PPT when you say you’re doing it for the fights, as well as what happened at this reset when you had some TW on both SoR and JQ due to the 7 day transfer cool down. It sets up the chance for cross server info sharing which blows.

We’ve been using our own passworded guild channel. Not including either server’s general population. With the exception of some of the keep takes Indo has led.
The only cross server comms have been us meeting with the half of TW that didn’t transfer, for a few duels and experimentation. Thanks for the casual accusations of inappropriate conduct tho!

However, I do recommend that if you guys go and do GVG to control your spectators. This is a gentleman’s game outside of the normal WVW thing where opponents can be civil and hopefully be friends. Who knows, might play together in the same server in the future or something outside of the game.

If you walk into WvW you’re fair game. No kittens given about your GvGs or duels. If you want to hold hands, go PvE.

And this is why SoR has no good GvG guilds.

They are currently on JQ and I until I see them back on SoR, I won’t believe otherwise. Indo and TW are surprisingly unpredictable, who knows maybe they will end up staying on JQ. I know they’ve been saying they are having a lot of fun over here and everyone is enjoying running with them, it wouldn’t shock me if they ended up staying.

edit: All you need is TC to keep up the fight.

The reasons BG is gaining rating and SoR is losing rating have to do with random chance, which really invalidates the difference. The only way it will matter to me is if BG beats SoR in a direct match and overtakes the #1 rating spot. Otherwise it’s just Glicko silliness.

I won’t argue this. It is meaningless, but it would be fun to tweak their nose about it if you are matched up this next week. Think chess. you can set up your troll this week and be a step ahead next week :P

[SF] from Jade Quarry are very competent at GvG. They beat [Agg] 3-0 in a GvG match not too long ago, I don’t know if they are the best in JQ at GvG but they are certainly very good. But I’d love to watch a [TW] vs [SF], can’t recall if they have faced each other in GvG before?

We didn’t EXPECT anything, nor was our intention to step into a command role. We just do TW, wherever TW happens to be. Indo did end up commanding in the keep take I posted earlier but we’ve also placed ourselves at others disposal.
Really is a different world on some of these servers isn’t it? I’m starting to think people on some servers just can’t relate until they’ve shared a server with us.

I game for entertainment, and there is nothing fun about fighting opponents without the ability fight back. Honestly, unless $20 USD (or 60g) is big deal to you, it is still pretty freaking cheap for a week’s worth of entertainment. Not to mention the secondary entertainment that has been occurring on the forums….

Granted it is most likely a one time thing for me personally, because if this poorly thought out match up garbage continues much longer, I will lose interest and most likely find a different game to play. /shrug

Absolutely, for some of us freetime is the precious commodity.

I don’t think people remember several months ago when Free Transfers were still around and people and guilds would hop around servers weekly on EU and NA looking for better fights, just because they could.

Can’t blame anyone for wanting to come to this matchup, the fights thus far have been phenomenal. I’m sure its a lot better than facing off against two demoralized T1 servers for another tedious week. Still haven’t encountered a lot of DB myself but theres hordes of Blackgate to fight on every map, its been enjoyable.

If random mismatches are the future of WvW, touring might just become a trend once again. Seems to me stacking servers has become an obsolete meta.

Don’t know what I’m talking about? Wait till you’re facing Eregon Terrace and Hendge of Denravi for a week.. Theres so many of us piled onto SoR, BG and JQ now that there isn’t much of anyone left for the other servers.

If touring becomes a trend you all need to show me what you’re doing to get that money.

Can’t blame anyone for wanting to come to this matchup, the fights thus far have been phenomenal. I’m sure its a lot better than facing off against two demoralized T1 servers for another tedious week. Still haven’t encountered a lot of DB myself but theres hordes of Blackgate to fight on every map, its been enjoyable.

If random mismatches are the future of WvW, touring might just become a trend once again. Seems to me stacking servers has become an obsolete meta.

Don’t know what I’m talking about? Wait till you’re facing Eregon Terrace and Hendge of Denravi for a week.. Theres so many of us piled onto SoR, BG and JQ now that there isn’t much of anyone left for the other servers.

What if next week we moved to Emhry Bay?
What if next week BG gets rng’d down to teir 4?

All this time and there’s still folks on BG that can’t believe people just like fighting.
Not to mention my wife and I have friends on JQ that we’ve gamed with for a decade.

Word is a couple of guilds on SoR aren’t too happy about TW’s transfer shenanigans. It isn’t helping the fact that some of those players already felt a little swindled by a false promise of good fights during the guild’s prime time.

Hopefully TW’s obsession with BG doesn’t destroy that #1 NA community. eek.

Actually we’re really just bored as hell. TW leaving for a week or two is a good thing because now it’s a tad bit more even and less queue times.

Flagship?? Really?? More like one of the most loudest guilds on there server that likes to talk a lot of crap.

I have not fought them in some time after IRON came over because they kind of went away from EU prime during that or there numbers where to few to really spot so i can’t speak for there skill level now vs before.

They have good movement, but they tend to be very against getting stuck in a solid slog match and they tend to use very mobile charges with small gatherings in between. Stop and push more or less. There biggest weakness is that they tend to be very obvious in there movement favoring stacking, might with Hammer charge following in and of course they long drown out fights are something they tend to stay out of. IF they do not get the upper hand early they will not stick it out.

This is not a value judgment or any thing of that strategy.

They will siege and stay in that, but every time we have hit them on open ground they tend to break off rather then fight to the end. It makes sens to a degree i guess.

You are correct. Our fights are indeed quite short.

For the benefit of those unfamiliar with T1 intrigue, could someone explain what/who is TW? From the discussions here, I so far understand that they’re some large/influential guild in BG. is that right? There are so many trolls here that it’s hard to ascertain what really is going on.

TW is the flagship guild on SoR. BG has been fighting SoR for so long (5 to 6 months I think), it seems some of the SoR members are not used to not fighting us anymore, thus transferring to JQ to follow us to this match, hehe.

Shows everyone in every tier that SOR and JQ have to double team every server that can put a decent fight up ,like BG, to win. Really childish servers they have become that they cannot ,,or will not, fight each other since they are so buddy buddy that if they get split up and ones in trouble ohh we will come help you guys for the brotherhood of SOQ .

It really is becoming a sad state for every other tier to challenge either of these 2 servers on a fair battle ground if they are in the same match up.

My penthouse in Rata Sum is carpeted in Quarrian skin rugs, so soft and easily walked upon. Why does BG the moment it takes the lead start posting complaints about 2v1? It’s quite possibly the oddest trend I’ve ever seen in a server. o.0

Obviously the posters are referring to odd it is that TW transferred to JQ to fight BG, not a 2v1 in the JQ/DB sense. Nice try on trying to make it something else but you failed. You did succeed however in giving everyone the creepy goose flesh chills that I am sure your ex-girlfriends experience when you keep ‘coincidentally’ showing up at parties they are at but you aren’t even invited to.
