People steal the siding off abandoned houses.
With iron there keeping the lights on, our NA storm has a beachhead to work with. Less upgraded stuff opposing it. In general a much fuller head of steam. And the biggest help of all, zone commanders. Something we desperately needed in that time window.

I don’t think people are understanding that this stream wasn’t really for.. well.. anyone that commented in this thread.
It’s a beginners guide for the PvE crowd that find RvR type experiences a bit overwhelming. Bear in mind the VAST majority of users paying Arenanet’s mortgage have never done anything like this, and giving them a clue about party sized objectives is a wonderful idea.

And on a side note: Finding thieves to be god-mode is a user error.

I hope for the sake of alleviating boredom that your overnight crew gets some people to fight. It would have been much better for them if a few of your guild transfers had come to SoR instead to even thing out. I think we would all prefer to have as equal numbers as possible so everyone has fun.

WvW was stale on EU T1 but most of our players have returned for NA T1 as it’s better than expected. Neverwinter and TERA couldn’t keep us away, we missed GW2 too much

Don’t blame ya. Fighting a Vizuna Square sized server can be trying.. We’ve experience them to a lesser degree here in the past as well. But none so stable as VS is proving.

From what I hear they have 25-40 people here and are getting the rest over as gold comes in from donations/whatever. I think the total they said would be up to 70. Not positive though.

Considering the playtime window and our already present Rallians, I wouldn’t think they’ll be too overwhelmed or too overwhelming. Should work out well, we’ll see either way in time.

As it stands now, any of the 3 T1 servers would mop the floor with DB and send it weeping back to T2. None of those NA guilds you got were very good to begin with, and your NNK while it seems strong and big for T2 and below it is not big enough for T1. Maybe evenly matched numbers wise by SoR, but outmatched by JQ and BG without question.

Reign in that arrogance, you haven’t been tested yet. And if you are relying on those T1 guilds you acquired, then think again, there’s a reason they ran from T1 to begin with.

I’m all for smack talk, but I wouldn’t recommend taunting, you may regret it in the future. I know the team leads from CO, they resemble a lot of how I run my own ship. Mayoken and Dekar are two fine team leads. Dekar himself even being a pretty hardcore gamer and team lead. When he was in SF he was toned down from what he probably is now. If you let that guy lose on a roster and whip ppl in to shape, I highly doubt their grou kitten omething to be trifled with. Not to mention Mayo’s style of leading is pretty solid as well.

Well, if this are actually the case we look forward to crossing pixels with them with eagerness! Naturally..
But lets not pretend the ladders of Guild Wars 2 are a stable and predictable world. The math however, is rather simple with the right skillset..

Its been a great week for TW, all the guilds that used to come into SoR to fight us have now stopped. So in an effort to find fights we are now jumping BL to BL hunting zergs.

Are you finding fights? Choo’s having the issue where by the time we actually get to an objective under fire, whoever it was has already moved on (without capping). It makes us run around the map like chickens without heads. It’s a really frustrating tactic; yesterday in BGBL we must’ve gone to like 6 different places before we actually met the big Blackgate group at North Camp.

Don’t tell anyone but we have located two consistently large forces on EB every night, the sheer amount of bags and wexp to be had is a bit overwhelming.

Fighting on eb as organized guild shows very little except numbers mainly cause of the eb pugs. But don’t worry TW, bl’s still got lots of guilds wanting to clash. ;D

I recorded it because it was funny; not to qq or anything. It was obvious that both JQ & SOR were working together to give BG a hard time for taking top spot last week.

Nah, that is about as far from the truth as you can get. His perspective isn’t so much interesting, as it is accurate as he was in the SoR force blockading you.

I was there as well and I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that we were not working ‘with’ JQ at all. In fact, we had been farming them over and over and over at the southeast camp before that incident and had been leaving you alone for the most part unless you demanded our attention by attacking something.

The reason we blockaded you was to simply give you a hard time because of Rise, not to help JQ. That, and to create a little forum drama…. which worked quite well.

Too funny. Just because you didn’t plan to do it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Btw: from what I’ve seen of Rise so far, I find it hard to believe that you gave them a hard time! I had the chance to run with them led by Prince Jarvan this week; he’s a great commander & they’re a tight group!

Again, I’m sure it was all in fun, and anything that breaks the monotony is fine by me at this point. I only reposted it to point-out the irony by those in this thread that are accusing BG of 2v1 or spawncamping this week. Sure, things like that can get old real quick, but no need to cry foul every time it happens IMO.

On a side note…these last few weeks have been super close for a top tier match, and a good deal of fun!

Let’s be honest, here’s what happened. WM/MEOW/etc transferred to BG and started fighting NA/OC/AZ timezone and got wrecked. Jang and co seeing they couldn’t compete changed their schedules and started logging in en masse for EU TZ which was dead for the other 2 servers.

Whatever may come out of Jang’s mouth, 2 things are clear: 1. WM isn’t in it for the “challenge”. and 2. They don’t have the chops for T1 combat.

WM is nowhere near as big as Choo/TW/Hire/Fire/HzH/EMP. Their zerg consists of 15-20 WM and the rest pugs.

The goal of WvW is to put points on the board and WM does a fine job at that. Waha and co didn’t seem to mind to PvDoor when no one on BG or SoR was on, so I don’t see the problem.
