Interesting. The fights went well. Guardian vs Guardian is dull as usual, that one would of lasted near 30min if some JQ Mesmers didn’t crash it and kill me from behind. 2-0 over his kittenty warrior which he admitted to being bad at.

If you guy’s truly wanna know why JQ gave up a 17k lead here it is. JQ as a whole has gotten bored of the repetitive wvw match up that we have now since the match up hasn’t changed much in a long time. (Guest in JQ la and ask this is the answer that you will get) Overall JQ is tired of wvw after weekend hype and a large lead and says lets go do something else that we havn’t been doing for months on end. JQ will continue to slack off until something new is added to wvw but until then have fun bg with first then maybe you guys will feel the same after a bit too.

This summarizes it… It gets lonely at the top and being the king of the hill is only fun for a certain amount of time.

Oh did you guys all leave two weeks ago?

Yeah thanks for your sympathy (I think?). It never used to be like this, I mean we were kicking kitten during the beginning of the week then people just stopped showing up…

Not just that but a lot of my friends on JQ have decided to move to a couple newer games that recently came out & I think that I might do the same. From all the weeks of winning with JQ I feel I’ve experienced all this game has to offer & that it’s just about that time to move on. I had a blast fighting among my fellow JQ’ers since the start, Blackgate has been an honorable opponent; good luck trying to break JQ’s record. Take care everyone!

Unless I missed them, I did not see anyone blaming our current second place or ppt on this. They are merely spreading awareness. The fact of the matter is BG is winning because they have taken more keeps, towers, camps, and slaughtered more innocent doylaks than anyone else. Anyhow, good fights everyone.

It just annoying getting supply starved again. It’s the second time that someone does this. I don’t think it’s in any of the other servers interest, when some idiot is weakening one of the three top servers. Maybe you enjoy playing vs. those very skilled doors and maybe that’s the only thing you could ever get down, but I play for fun and fun comes from competition.
If Anet doesn’t ban those idiots and those others flying into inner garrison/bay/hill and destroy siege there or using hacks on ac, I just stop playing.
And I still wonder why posts of “wishing people well” get deleted or people banned and trolling is obviously getting rewarded.

Oh you are a guardian. Endless fights with guardians are amusing the first couple of times, but I generally can’t do enough damage to kill you and they definitely stand no chance of killing me. You don’t happen to be the guardian that I fought with for 30 minutes before we gave up and ran in opposite directions (I am a little asura Ele)

A 30 min fight? Thats insane.

Bunker v. Kiter?
Just about every class has a supertank build. Necro’s can be insane to fight. But you rarely see bunker or scepter/shield guardians in wvw as they are too specialized. And slow as heck. Almost as pointless as full stealth thrives…

Difference is queue sizes, BG NA is significantly smaller, that arguement doesn’t translate to reality, BG NA’s log off we lose queues, we lost our SoR BL queue this weekend after 5 hours, which i’m 100% sure SoR did not.

Name the SoR guilds and numbers vs BG NA guilds and numbers, you’ll laugh.

We easily go through 2-3 bl’s worth of victims on reset night. Some guilds even leave as soon as they see we’re home that night. Tie that in with our sister guilds in other maps and you have short queues indeed.

Just sucks that our NA is so strong, but them other servers (cough BG cough) have to buy guilds to stay competitive. In actuality, if we had any EU/SEA presence (compared to JQ/BG) this whole thing would be a different story.

Personally I’d rather see him bring DB here. There’s some talent on that server, and a few guilds we’ve yet to size up. I wanna leave this game, in some far off time, having crossed pixels with each and every guild in game. The video journal is getting extensive, but is as yet incomplete.

I was in WM since October and parted ways on 21st Feb 2013. I was a WM Commander with SEA zone from Jan-Feb. In the time I came to know all of the WM members, they are still my friends and I still keep in touch with exWM (SOR & BG) and some of the Korean folks in KOR.

I have spoken at length to some of the exWM members. They left due to various reasons, there are no perfect guilds and every guild has house rules that members might find disagreeable in the long term.

But these exWM members in SOR have not ‘bad mouthed’ nor given WM a hard time. So unless Jang Gun can produce proof that this has happened, I would have serious doubts about this happening, like in the case of [AGG] & WM in December 2012.

I have no issues with Jang Gun, he is still one of the best commanders I know on the field, both strategically and tactically.

Again, I have no issues with WM, past and present. I need to see evidence.

Allow me to throw this molotov kittentail into the room and exit again. JQ and BG boast excellent coverage that averages 20/7 (no one is 24/7).

I think if anyone should be bragging, it’s SoR. They have kept things close while only being able to compete (in any meaningful way) in one time zone; one that is also well populated (though not as populated) by the other servers.

Other than Leto trolling all day long, the rest of them are pretty quiet about how awesome that is.

So everyone’s chest thumping is just….well it’s good for a laugh. Kudos to SF for knowing it’s a laugh, btw.

2 posts in, I’m not sure he’s ever played a pvpmmo before. And definitely not in a organized guild. Meta in this game has been changing frequently and dramatically. The cycle of change and counterchange is just a bit hidden for solo players. I can think of at least 5 eras in wvw playstyle offhand.

And I’ve yet to play one of these where big name guilds from the past didn’t start dropping within a month of launch. Some are quite famous for declaring victory and leaving before casuals even finish leveling…

Sounds like he needs a guild to me.
