When does nord field more than a group? Mostly see you guys solo in wvw.

Jump puzzles, skritt, centaur and garrison town are all fluff taking up space in the bl’s.
I hope in future maps all of them are replaced with more space for wvw.

One thing that might help with mobility is to shorten the history used compiling the score. That way, a new influx/loss of points produced would allow players to change rankings on a whim. I’m thinking like a 7 day history or less. So instead of a historical average the players can simply “want in more” as our Blackgate friends are fond of saying.

I’m sure they’ve got a bucket full of ideas, not that more are bad…
But I’m gonna be sure to pop into any suggestions thread wheedling for a map pack till it’s here
Sell us some maps Arenanet! Charge admission, whatever it takes. You put a guy on it full time and see if we don’t pay his wage. Don’t gotta be pretty, don’t need jump puzzles or vistas. Don’t even gotta be balanced. WTB shifting BL’s

EU players would have a great time challenging JQ’s super organized Asian presence. I know we do on weekends.

Certainly has made getting into an upgraded hills an excercize in frustration. I don’t mind the personell melting, but rams? Arrows should be adding to the mass of a battering ram, not whittling it into toothpicks before ya get in 5 whacks. Also seen a lot of build sites vanish as they’re being built around that area.. If you want to balance points in a match. Mr. Math says DB or SoR. JQ needs trimming.

I do believe piloting a piece of siege might be one of the most productive ways of leveling . Tons of loot, xp, karma, wxp and whatever else I forgot. Plus, you get a great view of the battle.

Indo set that example back when the interweb had a phone number.

I’m also sure nobody in EA told Jacobs to make his classes so complicated that he could never balance them. I played a Bright Wizard and then a Marauder later on in war… Yeah, none of that in GW2. Seems people always look right past the good to the bad in these games. Anyone remember every fortress fight ever in that game? Suddenly stonemist don’t seem so awful. At least the game don’t crash.

On behalf of KO, that was a fun inaugural reset run for us in t1 on JQ BL.

We only had about 18 people on BG so far, getting more every day

dat TW zerg, fighting you guys over and over again in fishing village was fun.

After losing Hills, we had to make use of some interesting diversion tactics to try to reclaim our footing. I lead our guys to attack NW tower of JQ and baited and lured them all the way to north Bay, /dance’d and gave JQ tons of bags to draw orange swords to get that TW zerg ball of death back into Bay while KnT capped Hills.

Overall, very fun experience, looking forward to more battles

JQ pulled us away making a move on Bay south as well. But yes, good times.

We now have similar if not equal coverage in SEA timezone, the reason we won this week was because we held onto our objectives… I know hard thing to believe that you can cap something in OC/SEA hold it through EU and then give it to NA at T3…

This is why we won, we held 300+ ppt for 3 days straight after that massive 450 ppt NA / Oceanic / SEA by JQ on Monday night (NA) Tuesday for every1 else.

JQ flipped all the maps but didnt hold onto them into NA, I went to sleep that night 260vs260 ppt woke up to 350 ppt, our EU had done a great job in holding and upgrading keeps/tower.

Reason BG has been so successful and survived is our coordination between guilds who are used to working together and the new turnover, we used to have a big gap between NA and Oceanic where JQ would capitalise and take all our stuff, now with MERC starting on the dot Oceanic timezone, eliminate your inefficiencies and win.

I for one am sick of the toxicity coming out of our opponents whenever we win / do well, maybe reflect on this as a server and think about it, maybe this was the reason WM, Meow, RiSE, KO, KOR chose BG over SoR and JQ.

BG, please let the rest of tier 1 know when you are off your pedestal and you are done preaching to us all with your “holier than though” attitude. When you win you come here preaching to us all. When you are losing you are screaming 2v1 and every other excuse that has been used by a losing server (yes this includes JQ and SoR).

Play the game and quit the preaching.

With the new despawn timer, such things can only be done if coordinated. A couple of spies/saboteurs can’t do all that. It seems as if JQ went out of their way to plant those things so BG can be blamed again.

Players on all servers frequently sacrifice sleep. I’ve seen Indo stay up until 8am EST for 2 weeks straight holding SoR BL until TSym and AFS confirmed to go over there. That does not mean at all that they do not have real life commitments. Effort being put in shouldn’t be demonized. If anything, those who are intentionally not trying should be demonized for violating the game’s integrity.

I also think you have a very liberal definition of “chest thumping”. Maybe you haven’t read a word in the rest of this thread and don’t realize how tame my little gauntlet being thrown down was. There are now 28 hours and 38 minutes left to make a comeback. Plenty of time. Stop quitting just because kitten got tough.

This is because we figured out some of our opponents wait till he’s offline to charge in. We keep a rack full of Indo’s “In case of opponents misusing friends list” Just for this purpose in TW world HQ. However, his actual nitenite time is a closely guarded secret..

What he’s trying to get is apart from your own server no one else likes jade quarry. You have destroyed a lot of servers through legitimate and illegitimate means alike and pretty much everyone hates you for it. You also created the bandwagon super server concept that every t1 server has to commit to just to stay competitive and avoid getting steam rolled.

Props to you for winning every week, just don’t expect to be universally loved for it.

I don’t like the whole mega ultra super dooper zerg server thing either. There have been servers stacked for a long time and JQ wasn’t the first to start this trend. At the end of the day its up to Anet to fix the issue and it could be fixed pretty easily. Maybe go share your anger about it with them.

Nah, it was on JQ to spread out a bit. But it was so much fun loafing to victory, why not just coast till another sos gets formed up? Maybe BG will be a more responsible overlord..

There will never be another SoS.

SoS was a unique server and one of the reasons for it’s success was it’s vast player base of Oceanics that was unlimited, unlike any other server.
(And on and on….)

Well.. Maybe you forgot but SoR was there to experience the rise of SoS. What in the lower tiers was a very close and exciting match between the two servers, ones I still think of as some of my favorites, was turned into imbalance by a steady stream of transfers. Maybe there were a lot of oceanics there before then, but the numbers were close and the fights fantastic. But, a few weeks in as more and more joined it became pretty obvious that even JQ and SBI were going to be outmatched. Did this stop the transfers? Nope, from T4 on up you guys never came close to losing, you’d become the bandwagon server. Not your fault this happened, but by the same token saying T1 sos was something unique seems kinda silly. I suppose your particular timezone being the originator makes it special to you.. But it just doesn’t matter that much which of the four zones is stacked, just that most of them are, to win. This is stacking.

Scouting can also mean seeing an enemy force en route to an attack.
