Tome of Justice spam (start with 5, then just face roll) + Renewed Justice (gives perma use when targets die) + Legendary Lore (more burn stacks). Then
sprinkle in Amplified Wrath + Wrath of Justice (1200 range immobilize too good) + the lovely GM trait combo of Loremaster + Permeating Wrath (for passive AoE burn) and always pumping out AoE perma-Quickness boon and equip mantras for insta AoE condi cleanse and elite AoE stun break/stab of course and don’t forget the beauty of Purging Flames in this spec…wow! I dare not mention the Aegis spam share version (real invincibility).Ooo the fun. Let’s see if I can find another premade coordinated 40-man version that will annihilate in AoE at range against any PUG zerg.

Hammer skills recharge 20% faster. Critical hits with a hammer reduce the cooldown the of your Virtues by 1s. Activating a virtue releases a burst of ice.
That would make it the strongest tool in the shed by far. Other things would need nerfing to compensate
Every weapon, well.. Almost every weapon has it’s own specific buff trait.
Not sure I saw a reason above for this particular one to receive attention. Rather the weapon itself needing some love.

the stats you chose are not good for power damage and not amazing for condi damage either. The traits needed to make condi and power mesmer builds work are often not in the same lines either so you can either be kind of meh at all of it or be decent at condi or power.
I would suggest picking either power and going with berserker or marauder gear or choose condition damage and go with either trailblazer, dire or rabid gear. Don’t mix condi and power builds, it generally doesn’t work.

GvG and duels are the purest form of PvP, they should be embraced, instead of being vilified; if you want skilled players on your side…
I guess that is the problem though, WvW is seen as an exclusive place for unskilled zerging and PvD by some – and sadly they are right, most of the time.
I blame the influence of Facebook games which were such a hot item during Gw2’s development, largest pile of “friends” wins.

It’s not a player created problem, it’s an Anet created problem, and it’s a problem centered almost exclusively around BG, and to a lesser extent JQ. Anet never should have opened these servers up. I’ve seen a good chunk of others servers field similar active numbers whereas the fights are relatively even. The problem arises when other servers end up in T1 showing the true issue of the population disparity. No server can field the same numbers as JQ, and JQ themselves can’t field the numbers against BG.
Honestly, the best possible case scenario at this point is to drastically lower the population on each map.. like literally cut them by 50%. It won’t affect any other server that much, but it will hit the top 2 quite hard. Send their map ques through the roof so they sit for 2-4 hours in a que. At some point if they hope to play regularly, they’ll need to move. It might even help diminishing the ongoing lag issue as well.
This is really the most practical answer. Solves lag issues, keeps transfer revenue for Anet and provides players with a more balanced set of matches at primetime
What it won’t address is off hours imbalance, the communities driving score disparity are simply too small to ever be dispersed across all matches.
I’m sure your community is fantastic as long you have the numbers to steamroll every other server.
Yeah we’ve seen how that fantastic community is about sticking around on the rare occasion things got rough, haven’t we?
The only thing worse than a match against BG is winning it.
Not to mention we’d be the only class kitten in such fashion.
I don’t mind a good skill curve but everyone else is going downslope. And I suspect the cone is so they don’t resemble shouts… Which they do otherwise.

People seriously need to do research on this before posting about it.
It’s not servers lacking speed that’s the issue; it’s profession design and the huge amount of proc effects, boons, and conditions which all need to be calculated, ticked, and updated/kept track of all firing off as interrupts half the time. ANet has come out and said this… more than once.
So we should stop playing WvW ?

My fear is that the Firebrand tree won’t give us access to stability… so we’re forced to use the stability + stunbreaker elite utility. On paper that elite may seem awesome but in practice we’ll be more dependant on our team.
I don’t want to be forced to go support just to be viable in PvP…

I’d be happy to give up Renewed Focus if we were given other mitigation options.
Blocks keep getting weaker and weaker with each expansion, same with boons.
We have to give up A LOT to be tanky or fast. We have no endure pain, no stealth, no distortion, no death shroud, no signet of stone, no water field. All we got for when things get hairy is Renewed Focus.
Water field is really what bugs me though, why can’t I combo for anything but retal or 3 might (and the mighty light aura xD (have you ever got the light field cleanse to work? I haven’t))?
