Sky I think is being silly. A way to unsoulbind it requires a transmutation crystal and a transmutation splitter. If you want the upgrade, it would require an upgrade remover, splitter, and crystal. First, remove upgrade. (Sigil, infusion, whatever) transmute the legendary’s skin onto a white item. Give it to the character you want the legendary on and have that character use the splitter. It will give you the legendary back.

Interesting to note, if I sign in to my second account on the forums using my iPad, the password to my first account is “forgotten” by the game and forums, and thus I have to reset it. It does not happen on any other browser or device. I can sign in and out with no issue using my windows machine. It’s just when I throw this bloody iPad into the mix.

No one here is suggesting that pug …. Noobs(?) … Should melee Lupicus in a party on their own or at all until they know the way to do it. But proclaimed dungeon masters and those who claim to be masters at the dungeon in question should know how to get through Lupicus quickly and efficiently.

Melee’ing with pugs who range is a new challenge I do for myself. Its like if lupi now has little adds that make him into a Bubblepotimus. As well as lupi kites away from me as he teleports/walks to his little adds to give them gentle pats on the back.

Regarding my reminders from you about comments on some kind of reward for the Fractal reset, I am still thinking about feelings around it.

With fractured what was really removed was content. The fractal levels over 30 that had existed over 30 were removed from the game. And while this is definitely something to complain about, it is not first time its been an issue with GW2.

The levels werent removed from the game. They are still there. And levels aren’t content. Its a number. You can still progress in levels. But, for example, level 42 was not removed from the game…its there.

The levels that had existed were removed. Yes they added new higher level ones, but they are not the same as the ones they removed. They just reused the level numbers and thus the required reset. The old level 42 and the new level 42 are not the same. And levels over 50 were removed and not even replaced with anything new.

The way I always saw each fractal level was more as the name of that particular dungeon, so fractal level 42 was a specific dungeon. I guess not everyone saw it that way.

How are they not the same? You still receive 3 fractals and now a bonus fractal regardless, from the same pool of fractals. Infact, they have added fractals. The content is the same. Content != difficulty/levels.

As this is something that we have already discussed and argued about at length can we talk about this later, when Chris has an idea about what he thinks about it?

So one night I decided to PUG arah p3 for fun. I get into a party with 2 warriors and 2 guardians. The 2 warriors and one of the guardians aren’t trash (they’re just PUGs who know how to do the path in their own PUG fashion), one of the guardians is a complete newbie who has never done the path before.

We eventually get to Lupi although nearly everyone dies on the room before by pulling a kittenton of mobs. As anyone who has tried to melee Lupi in ranged PUGs before knows, it’s not a very pleasant experience (either you get kicked from party or get destroyed in phase 2 by single target projectiles), but I go ahead and melee anyway for the hell of it.

So the first time we wipe (I couldn’t solo phase 3 because I’m bad and died to frenzied blast). The second time, the same thing happens and by the end of phase 2 everyone else is dead, so I’m solo meleeing phase 3. Then the party leader says “orcobal don’t fight alone, res people”. I’m not intending to get swiped/domed/life drained so I ignore him.

“reset now or I leave party”, says the evidently-unhappy party leader. Oh no! I continue, heedless of his words. About 30 seconds later I see the Cursed Shore loading screen. I expect to be partyless. But then I see that I’m still in a party – instead of kicking me like the average kitten PUG would have, this party leader left the party and killed the instance instead.

8/10, hoped for some staff camping.

I propose a challenge for the day:

Pick a dungeon that you can normally finish in 15 minutes or less with a skilled group. Post for a full party on lfg (let’s see a full pug here!) but don’t say “experienced only” or “gear check”. Then run with the party, regardless of comp.

Challenge criteria 1: if the run goes longer than 1 hour you may quit

Challenge criteria 2: coax out all of the bad play how you want statements from the pugs and make note of them.

Challenge criteria 3: extra points is someone, other than you, says “dead dps is no dps”

Go!
