What’s it to you if someone sells a path to lazy people? Why the kitten do people kitten over something that isn’t even any of their business in the first place? So what if others are lazy? Is it hurting your gameplay?
Lindybear Ace hurt my feelings T.T
We won’t let anyone hurt your feelings while I’m around.

Oh boy! A stacking thread!
So personally I don’t think it’s the stacking that’s ruining player skill. I think it’s skipping. Like I mean, they need to practice killing things! Else they won’t know how.
Anyway it’s very clear that player skill is being ruined and the source is directly related to bunny ears being wearable in combat.
But… But… I love my bunny ears o.o

The stacking and exploit whatnot threads are just depressing to me now. Same old arguments, same old dead horse.
sigh
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I see the word exploit being thrown around everywhere, yet I don’t see any hard evidence to prove that Fiery Rush against a wall is an exploit.
Considering how long it’s been since this little trick was discovered, don’t you think if it really were considered an exploit, they’d have fixed it in the feature patch? They didn’t. They had the chance to fix the wall rush when they fixed the rush+teleport bug, but did they? No.
So bin your exploit argument.

B-but bunny mesmers! … :<
OT:
I would say that it is not stacking itself that made players bad, but rather bad players didn’t understand why they were stacking and thus gave it a bad rep. They seem to believe that stacking will magically destroy the boss without them taking any damage, when in reality it’s really the other way round. They’re completely missing the point.
Stacking against a boss is usually done to facilitate Fiery Rushes (I think), otherwise there is no point in doing so. Where stacking really shines is when it’s used to group up a bunch of trash mobs using line of sight so you can blind them with a single Black Powder, share boons and pick anyone who goes down with ease.

Anyway, little things… hmm. I’m thinking bug fixes, you know, like fixing the broken Arah waypoints.

You’d be surprised how many people fall for it.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
The dungeon community is not hostile; society functions the same way. If you do not have the grades that meet the school requirements, the school does not accept you. And if you apply for a job, and do no meet the job requirements, you don’t get hired. The school wants to teach a certain kind of student, the employer wants a competent person who can add value, and the gamer wants a smooth dungeon run. How is a dungeon different?
Oh, this is the part where they argue that this is a game and that games are not meant to take any effort or some bullkitten like that.
Can we get to this part plz? I want to reeedz and have funsies.

Regardless of whether you answer my question or not…
One of the things I still can not get used to is the fact the famous dungeons runners. What is the point to “RUN” a dungeon and skyp everything only to get gold? Why you ANET expend time making dungeons developing lore for people that later will skyp all new content again? Do you think these is fun or worth it at least?
Let me begin by saying that the perception of fun is very subjective. For example, a person may find video games in general uninteresting and are quick to dismiss the notion of them being fun, but someone else will most certainly share the exact opposite of his opinion. Even a pair of identical twins can differ in this perception. With that out of the way, we choose to run dungeons as fast as possible because the novelty (for most of us) wore off a long time ago. These dungeons have been around for over one and a half years, which is more than enough time to get comfortable with the encounters and devise strategies to pass them.
If the case is you want to reward your players, why dont you just make an instance with full of legendaries and that it! Because the runners only want to kill them for loot and the chest for gold..
There is a balance between effort and rewards that must be kept in check – whether you feel it is unbalanced or not, however, is irrelevant here.
If you are a new player and this is the first time you do a dungeon, you will not have ANY IDEA what you are doing, because the runners dont let you, just stack here, run this way, jump in a Tree on TA to get last boss. (guess this was fixed thx for that).
Sure, a new player would not have any idea what to do, but surely he could ask?
After complete 2-3 dungeons the new players know the way how to do the dungeon, but do you think they really know how to play?? Im sorry to tell this but they just dont..! People learn of course, but this not the way you should play.
Please don’t define how we should play – it makes you look narrow-minded.
I found lot of players that like kill everything, like me, (I have to explain on LFG before go) and this is one of the reason players run because killing everything dont give good rewards, but let me tell you that yes you will! Killing everything in game drop me lot of exotics. but i guess they just dont know it, cuz they learn how to be a bad player and not a real one.
I’m glad you’ve found like-minded players, but don’t imply we are bad players. I’m very sure that the regulars of this subforum will easily outdo you in your chosen method (or anything even more extreme) in dungeons – have you watched rT’s full clerics/no dodging Arah run? I believe DnT is planning to do a similar run too (correct me if I’m wrong). As for the rewards? Do you really think the exotic drop rates are really so high? Because if it were, I assure you a lot more groups would be attempting to farm the trash, let alone not skipping them in a normal run.
