Maybe a new server should be introduced called ’Zerker’s Square’, where all gear is zerker gear.
No comment, although I personally think this is pointless.
Don’t see why there should be a special ‘zerker LFG tool’. If you use LFG/search PUGs you will always get a random player. Even if he has zerker gear he can still die every fight. So make a guild or add people to friends list to get a nice group of players who you can zerk dungeons with…
Yes, that’s right, with an LFG tool you will inevitably get a random puggie. However, this will allow us to prevent play how you wants with their less than optimal builds from completely ignoring what the LFG post states and joining anyway. If they want to link a fake set, it won’t help them, since if they’re not running a DPS setup we will know when the fights start to take longer than they normally should.
Don’t see how a stat filter is gonna help either, you can equip zerker gear during LFG and then equip different armor in the dungeon… only leads to more trolling and qq (like already people join Arah at end boss and then kick the opener to waste the effort).
I’d like to think on the positive side and believe that this is not very likely to happen. My faith in this community hasn’t been broken – yet.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
This mantra rarely ever leaves my bar in PvE because it has a remarkably low cooldown for a stun breaker. It’s just too good.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Spoj has a thing for female characters.
They look good.
Also male armour is always so bad. :<
I concur.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
The OP’s suggestion would be unnecessary if other players would just read the LFG tool and respect a group’s requirements.
Sadly they don’t. Human nature. Hence the need for barriers.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Dat run-on paragraph doe. But let’s not berate the guy too much. He’s coming to the dungeon sub to get better. If more people would do that, Tyria would be a better place.
That’s what I did, and boy did I improve as a player overall. This subforum has a reputation for having snarkier people, but what people are missing is that there are kittenters who come in every day and post QQ without actually understanding how stuff works.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I’m not familiar with eles but there’s a bunch of different builds there too (people in our guild actually tend to swap builds while doing dungeon tours when playing eles actually.
I’m guessing it’s because the ele builds are more specialised than other classes due to the way their traits are distributed, or something like that.

If it’s the most popular post in the forum, the thumb gets a red underline as well.

Robert got the sack last year for reasons still unknown to us. There hasn’t been any semblance of a proper dungeon team at all.

“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Good job bringing a 7 month old thread back.
This topic has been discussed to death, AH works, it’s viable, but by no means optimal, and anyone who so much as cares about their own performance in runs should never be using a crutch like this.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Normally I’m a fairly relaxed team member when it comes to pugging people. What really irks me about rangers that join my group is that on countless occasions, they’ll use Point Blank Shot on a set of mobs that have been perfectly grouped.
Why do they do that? Seriously. I once asked and the reply was, “Because it was off cooldown.”
Okay, I understand and I’m willing to accept you not doing the best you possibly could do, but when you start trolling me by pushing mobs around and forcing me to be less effective, I’m much more accepting of seeing someone vote-kick a ranger.
Edit: So yes, your title is very accurate. Rangers have no respect in dungeons.
You won’t believe how irritating it can be in open world as well, I’ve been playing a thief in LA using pure melee and it irks me to no end when I miss a CnD because some halfwit decides to knock my target five miles away.
So, I feel for you.

She must really dig my fat pink norn.

Can someone verify for me that Mai Trin tends to pick on guardians more than others?

Okay.
And for the record, the “master reflector” is able to fully absorb Alphard’s daggerstorm and Old Tom’s projectiles if you untrait your warden, which absolutely no other class can do.
Quick fix.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I even had a screen of a 3 billion damage “One Shot” to Lupicus. ;)
<- Lupicus (solo) world record holder.
Go figure.
How :o
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I could sum it up in just a few words.
The game has been out for over 1.5 years now. People changed and improved. Dungeons did not.
um yea dungeons kittenin changed.
Are the encounters still the same? For the most part, yes. Are today’s tactics different from those used a year ago? Yes.
My point stands.
no, a year ago people used exploits to get cof and other dungeons day in and day out.
they also made many dungeons much more difficult.
so no your point doesnt stand.
Can you back up your claim of exploiting with evidence?
if you dont remember all the exploiting being done, and the numerous patchs that had in the patch notes “fixed this exploit here, fixed that exploit there”
then you obviously havnt even been on for a year.
but yea, let me find some exploits for you.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/CoF-Exploit-1
http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/66470-cof-still-being-farmed/
there were many more, a lot of them just being ways to skip mobs to get to the end quicker.
etc etc. it is well known to players who actually were here a year ago that there were many exploits. most people who were speed farming cof and arah were using these exploits.official patch notes have even included, “fixed this exploit here, fixed this exploit there” etc etc
note: almost all, if not all, of them have been fixed, so this isnt sharing information that could hurt the game.
Valid evidence, but also pretty outdated. The last major overhaul to a dungeon was the change to AC back at the end of February. It’s been just a little over a year. Ever since that, not much has changed save for some band aid fixes and a stealth change to Alphard.
And I probably should have noted that I meant legitimate tactics from the start.

Also, “many dungeons much more difficult”? Please, continue pulling my leg, if people in this day are complaining about dungeons being too difficult after all the knowledge that’s been shared around through guides and hand-holding, they must really suck. No dungeon path has undergone any major overhaul since the dungeon team vanished into thin air (Aetherpath is a replacement, not an overhaul).
So until you can give me solid proof to refute my point, it will stand.

Belka’s stupid orbs rarely ever land in the red circle if they go into the air, sometimes she shoots it into the floor and 2 seconds later anyone in the red circle gets blown up.

To the best of my knowledge:
1. Once you push him to the wall, get off his circle. He’ll only move if you stand in him.
3. Again, stay off his circle.
Stay with your current foods/stacks, precision only really matters for classes reliant on reflects. As a warrior, you will naturally be set up for high crit chance with all the fury, a banner, and the signet if you want. Personally I’d take the Endure Pain and replace it with a disc banner if you aren’t already using one.
As for Deep Strikes, you already have sufficient precision, so go with Rending Strikes for a little bit of extra DPS.

While we’re at it, let’s complain about why Feedback fails to reflect projectiles from monsters taller than the peak of the bubble!

The system is programmed to automatically dispense a birthday gift to any character in the database the instant they hit the 365-day mark.
Well, I think it does anyway, but I know for sure it’s automated.

Irony.

Apparently he was talking about open world zergs. Mm, well, such high DPS is to be expected when there are so many cleric AH staff camping guardians with their super stronk heals pressing 1 and sometimes 4.
Okay.

It’s tomes, not tombs. I don’t think a glorified grave is very knowledgable in anything.
Otherwise, good points.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Crafting too, but it’s now prohibitively expensive (and impossible) to craft all the way to 80 from 2. You will have to fill the gaps by doing something else, like maybe a few level tomes.

Zerging in LA. Use the belongings to buy more levels.
