afaik, it only differs from sunrise/twilight in the skill whirling wrath. forthe rest it is the same.

To OP. Eternity has a trail. it is the same as sunrise at daya and the same twilight at night. It has its unique footsteps.

It doesn’t override any projectile at all, WW is no exception.

When I read your arguments about scholar runes being bad, I facepalmed. Being in pug teams doesn’t cause your dodge key to unbind itself, it has little to no effect on your own ability for self-preservation. I have scholar runes on my 5 80s fitted with zerkers, and I don’t have a problem keeping the bonus active most of the time.

Suddenly I remembered just how good dungeon NPCs are at griefing people.

I may not have shown it, but I am very intolerant of anything that reeks of stupidity, especially pugs that don’t respond to me even when it’s blatantly obvious I’m addressing them.

The way I see it, the problem with running AH is not simply because it’s selfish. It does provide excellent sustain, but only if you are able to keep dishing out boons. The only way you can dish out boons all the time is if you use a hammer, but that’s not my point here. What I want to note is that most AH builds I see employ 3 shouts, compared to the meta build’s single shout and 2 consecrations (the shout is always “Retreat!”). It’s not that there’s anything wrong with the idea of shouts, it’s that in PvE they simply cannot provide enough of an advantage to turn the tables on your opponent, which almost invariably have large health pools. Compare them to consecrations, the two most used skills from this category are Purging Flames and Wall of Reflection. PF clears 3 conditions and has a low cooldown, while a well placed WoR can greatly boost your DPS and completely protects you from projectiles at the same time.

Simply put, both builds are actually ok, though I think it’s almost certain that the current meta offers superior support by its very nature. I talk only about the trait setup because gear has very little impact on your abilities.

You’re not the first, and you won’t be the last for a while. I agree with your points though, just that this issue isn’t exclusive to fractals alone – this is precisely why we also have so-called “white knight” kickers who do nothing but grief Arah sellers, legitimate or not.

In all seriousness, making a second character with the same class is the closest thing you can get to preset builds, just takes a lot more work because you have to level it at least 60 times (with a scroll). Also there’s the aesthetics factor.
