Yep. Looks exactly like mine and what Urthona posted is what I use atm.
I love swears being turned into “kitten”. Much more amusing and interesting then silly *’s.
I wish it did it in-game too!
I do want to say, that it’s not as if they can have a server that can host unlimited people. It’s a popular server with lots of people, and you need to do it like everyone else has to do it when they want to get onto a popular, full server.
Wait, hope, and stay up all night.
You’re not entitled to be able to play with your friend. It’s not Arenanet’s fault that someone is on a full server so other people can’t easily join.
Yes, it was supposed to be good but ended up being a big problem. They’re working on fixing it.
Was supposed to be fixed in the last big patch but no. Still waiting.
Well I think he just has false impressions in most of the classes. His belief on thieves and engineers is just plain wrong.
If you like warrior, then play it. Who cares about what anyone else plays. It’s your enjoyment that should matter
All areas have mobs that drop rares.
Your best bet is to take some MF gear and food into Orr and head to the tunnel and farm the events there. Lots of high-lvl loot you can sell/salvage as well as lots of rares.
You certain of this? I was about to say the same thing but I’ve never seen rare gear lower than level 20, so I’d have to jump on the game to see what the lowest rare gear available is to see what zones you could get drops in.
And if you’re about to mention the gear-scales-to-level thing that doesn’t exactly work. Some people get random results – personally all the gear I get from drops is always scaled whilst none of the weapons I get from lower level zones are ever 74+… they always reflect the level of the zone I’m in.
That’s true. The lowest yellow is lvl 30? and you don’t get ectos under 68. But in my personal experience I’ve gotten lvl 74 yellows from lvl 40+ maps, so down leveling still works. And it should be even better now that they’ve increased the amount and lvl of loot that down leveled people usually get.
All lvl 80 exotics have the same number of stats, so yes that is the best gear.
Ascended gear WILL be better but atm there are only ascended rings/accessories (i think) and back pieces. No actual armor.

I’m sorry, but while the above posters are right, in regards to YOUR question they are wrong.
In GW2, culling is another way to talk about the rendering bug. (i.e. rendering bug and culling bug are equal).
Culling is when there are a large amount of people/enemies in one area and it takes a few seconds for people to start popping into your screen. It’s a big problem in WvW and large DE’s because it takes a long time to see everyone at once so you can charge a group of 5 and it turns out there’s 20 there.
It was imbalanced, which is why they changed it a few weeks into the game and made everything you bought with karma un-TP and un-salvageable.
The best thing to do is MF’ing stuff and selling the item you get back (or turning that item into ectos. 35s ectos. kitten )
It really serves no real purpose because the small buffs they give aren’t really necessary enough to waste the coppers it costs.
The little boost in stats doesn’t do a whole lot. The only exception of course being MF food which is just epic.
I would personally rather see a bacon filter but I hear some people prefer fuzzy little creatures than epic foodstuffs, to each their own I guess.
Why does your name involve a different type of fuzzy little creature instead of an epic foodstuff?
The trick only effects looks not stats
Now, calling people who require exotics bad isn’t accurate.
I personally only run with lvl 80’s with exotics. And I do that because I want to get in and out of the dungeon as fast as possible. One can only run AC so many times before you’re just tired of it but it’s a great source of quick and easy tokens and gold.
Does this make me bad? No. Does it make me elitist? Probably. And i’m ok with that. And it works for me.
By crafting in the mystic forge he doesn’t mean crafting with materials.
You’re going to have to put high-lvl yellow or exotic longbows into the forge and hope to get the one you want.
Conversely you might be able to buy it on the TP. I can’t check to see if it’s a sellable weapon.
It’s kind of hard to check gear in this game…
Artificer is the cheapest at 2 – 3g and no karma cost.
Buy temple gear for 42k karma each and stick 4 pieces in the forge.
Rifles work wonders at 80 with a power/crit 10/30/0/0/30 build. Some serious damage. But you’d definitely be squishy. Might be able to do a rifle/shout build. Or just do whatever you’d like xD
Well…thieves have a few support methods.
They can share their venoms to party members
They can create shadow fields which blind enemies
They can cash an AoE stealth allowing stealth razzes in boss fights (stealth drops aggro on you)
They’re very good at keeping blind up a lot by themselves
I would never play an ele as it is now, but others swear by them. I can’t offer any advice other then you’ll die a lot and do damage very slow compared to other classes unless you stance dance a TON.
Try the thief. They can put out awesome damage.
Definetely sell them right now. Massive money-making potential. You’ll lose money if you ID them all hoping for rates unless you’re exceptionally lucky.
I personally am not. So I don’t even bother xD.
I was still IDing them for blue dyes when they reached 8-9s. Such a waste.
It won’t because they don’t restore items.
Actually the endgame IS getting the cosmetics you like.
They’ve said that they want their endgame gear grind to be looks > stats and that’s exactly what it is (minus ascended).
So you have someone to sell to.
Otherwise they’re useless.
You should be human. We have the best hair
I’m sure you’ll be able to find groups. It was more a warning that if you get kicked, it’s probably because you’re not 80 and nothing against you personally.
I know I personally only run with 80’s. I hate dungeons as it is. I don’t wanted added difficulty/complications to it.
Atm you cannot nor have they stated it would be a future feature.
I would not roll a Ranger.
Rangers are the most broken and unfinished class in the game, according to the developers. Half of their utility skills were removed in beta to be replaced/fixed but they ran out of time and put the broken and useless skills back in.
Also, the developers have outright LIED to the ranger community for over a month by promising a “big major” ranger update to fix all their utilities, and every patch it’s “we need more time for testing” or “we were worried there might be imbalances” followed by “it’ll come next patch.”
Yeah right.
One of my guildee’s uses a standalone mic.
His quality is definitely not up to snuff with the people w/ headsets, although it could be his mic personally.
To be clear:
You have characters X, Y, and Z.
If X uses an account bound recipe, ONLY X can do the recipe. Y and Z do not get that recipe. But X can buy 3 copies of the recipe (good for a main w/ tons of karma) and give the recipe to Y and Z.
The karma exotics come from the temple vendors in Orr.
MF doesn’t matter with dragons.
It only effects mob drops not chests.
Some of the guys on the creation screen have cultural, but most don’t.
http://www.gw2armorgallery.com/
You can use that to find any armor in the future.
Be wary, many groups will kick you once they realize you’re not 80.
Dungeons are MUCH easier with a full party of exotic-geared 80’s so a lot of people don’t take low-levels because it makes dungeons harder/longer.
Just a heads up!
The only stuff that sells for a lot is generally T6 mats. At such a low-level you could farm copper/jute and sell it but it’s probably not very time-efficient.
If it doesn’t say unique you can equip as many as you want
I believe you need one of the ancient dwarven keys.
You can get jugs to 7650. Karma booster, guild karma banner, guild karma booster, and karma food.
And I don’t see why it wouldn’t be intended. Karma boosters boost karma. A jug of karma gives karma. I don’t see any reason to not boost the jug
I use a Turtle Beach x11 like one of the above posters recommended.
It was my old xbox headset that I retired to the PC when I got x41’s for my xbox.
They are SUPER-comftorable w/ glasses. Only issue is an extremely long cord, but if you can tie-wrap it or something you should be good to go.
They SHOULD be cheap now too. Or cheap-ish.
You can whisper him in-game or send him an in-game mail from any server.
Asking here is like throwing a rock in a China Store and hoping it doesn’t break anything
I’m pretty sure your hair blocks the helm eye since it’s on your forehead.
Or at least my hair does. I think.
WvW is 8% of the 100% map completion. It’s definitely WvW
NPCs are always ridiculously weak in this game. They’re there for a story perspective, not to destroy mobs. That’s your job xD
That’s a good point about the chests. I wonder what their logic was for having it not apply to chests. One would sort of expect it to. Is that official word or player speculation on it not applicable to chests? Because if it doesn’t apply to chests I’d be inclined to think it a bug unless they have officially stated that it is not supposed to work on chests.
They have an official post saying MF only works on mob drops.
Are you using fine transmutation stones? You need to use them when transmuting any lvl 80 gear (even going from a lvl 80 skin to a lvl 60 skin)
Then I shall delete my useless post
As far as I know you can indeed transmute different order armor/weapon skins as long as you have someone who can buy them.
