Excuse me for derailing the topic a bit, but why do you need geodes? I honestly have no use for these things other than the keys, so i can get champ bags and sell them for a profit (this isn’t trying to make a point. i’m genuinely curious in case I’m missing out on something)
Some of the food recipies are good for WvW. And as the food is accountbound, there’s no option of buying on the TP, hence the necessity for geodes.

These are the same mobs that give zero XP and drop no loot. Anet is moving more and more towards this type of mob.
Do the story achievements, and DE’s around the world. Haven’t grinded a single thing, never done an event more than twice and I already have 190 geodes.
Also don’t purchase from the vendor until you get a T4 map. The prices are almost 50% less.
Wow… didn’t know the prices were different for different tiers. Also was told on mapchat that the tier was personal and not mapwide.
Always the excuse of “great things will be coming.” Fact is that what we have now is a tiny map with a very limited number of events compared to the number of event rewards we need (geodes).
A lot of people are complaining of the map making them nauseous. It’s probably the FPS drop doing that.

And how do I get a Favor of the Zerphyrite? I assume it’s related to the Tiers?

Anet isn’t going to give any real attention to WvW anytime soon (if ever).
The best we can hope for are very small QoL improvements that can be easily implemented. Let’s give some suggestions for these. Anet can implement them and then hype them as “major updates” as they are wont to do. Win win for everyone (kinda).
Proposed format: give your suggestion and the dev time required to implement it. Then give an extra lazy version of your suggestion (with dev time) that’s so easy even Anet might consider implementing.
So here’s one:
- Position NPCs that are near supply huts so that the chance of interacting with them by accident (when intending to pick up supply) is lessened.
- Dev time required: 15 – 30 minutes.
- Extra Lazy Version: Just do Red Keep in EB where the supply hut is in a corner and a couple NPCs are very close to it making accidental interaction almost guaranteed.
- Dev time required: 2-3 minutes.
No community —> people don’t care about the “team” and teammates —> people don’t care about winning —> karma train 24/7.
It seems like it should be a bug. It doesn’t really make sense for it to be account bound.
It’s so that you’re forced to do the content if you want the food.
I dont think this “bugfix” was intended. They managed to add another bug as they do every patch. This time they put it in the changelog and call it a bugfix.

Dear Lord, please tell me ANET isn’t forcing us to craft personally to get the best edge in WvW. Prickly Pear soup is that much better than Koi cake.
Seriously? sigh. It is bad enough that we have to craft ascended versus having it done for us (or better yet having decent drop rates so you don’t need to craft at all). Either way is better than imposing crafting on each and every person.
After all, IF you are in the minority that likes to craft, do you really want your only market to be “account bound”? Aren’t crafters typically people who want to make (and profit) for/from others?
I see your point and agree with it but many poeple asked for in game rewards that are earned through gameplay and not bought simply with gold. This food and the accound bound ventari gear are results from that.
They should at least make those rewards available through playing wvw as well, like with the festival tokens.
Festival tokens were not available through playing WvW.

This would take too long and require too much developer investment, plus the implementation would be a nightmare. Testing this technology alone would take 6+ months which could be better spent on more meaningful projects and content.
Maybe if there was some sort of testing ground already implemented to test such things, such a shame there isn’t.

As for the OP, don’t bother recording. Anet won’t ever do anything about it.
Stale and unbalanced. But most importantly, there’s no sign of things getting even a little better anytime soon (even if by “soon” you mean within a year).
For a new LS update to have its forum section at only 5 pages (at the current time) is pretty anemic. And it was already at 4 pages before the update dropped.
Any good farming in this new patch?
Get rid of the mini-event blocking the entrance. I’m not sure if it was there before, but having a non-consequential gated event is just dumb, especially when this content is going to be old in the future.
That’s probably there to gate those who have to buy it from the gemstore in the future.
It’s another one of those stealth nerfs. Happened the update that brought back the Crown Pavilion. Mesmer focus pull was affected in the same way.
WvW needs some sort of reward track like PvP, or some unique armor/weapon skins that cost thousands of badges. Like branded armor or something epic.

Would be cool if the remnants of Meow moved back to their ancestral home NSP. 
Nobody likes spending half an hour trying to find a good arena only to have it taken by people who don’t listen or don’t care. Trying to find a different empty map is near impossible with megaservers, and even if you do find another one people tend to pop up and queue in your arena anyway. It’s insulting that for all the feedback anet received last year about gauntlet, one of the biggest issues (queue for gauntlet, absolutely ridiculous wait times) was ignored. Is it really so hard to give players the option to farm the gauntlet alone, in peace, without people constantly queueing with you and wasting your time even when you tell them to please leave and find an empty one on their own?
Your story boils down to “I don’t have the patience to look for an arena with less people queuing so I can farm faster”.
The thing is : gauntlet arenas are not instanced so other players (like me) can watch fellow guildies or pug fighting and teach them tips and underline the errors they made during the fights.
It is a feature of the gauntlet and they should NOT remove it. Remember that you are in the minority of players that farm gauntlet chances (and thus want an empty arena to maximize rate of return).
There is a majority of people who simply want to beat liadri. Why should you have priority over them ? Don’t they have the right to have fun ?
Farmers are almost certainly the majority.
People are angry when they care and when they think there’s a hope for the future.
At this point most have already given up.

All ascended gear is account bound.
Can someone confirm? I’ve crafted one and have 2 toons that can use it, but I don’t want to commit to soulbinding it to either character at the moment.
Upon crafting the Chaos of Lyssa, it has no stats and is accountbound. But when you double-click it to choose stats it says:
“Warning: Selecting stats is permanent and will make the item Soulbound.”
Does it really become soulbound as it says? Is this a new policy regarding Ascended gear? I thought Ascended gear was all Accountbound now?
The game mode is completely stagnant due to developer inattention and apathy. That’s why it’s hemorrhaging players. Weeklies won’t do anything to stem this tide.
There’s no point in transferring unless you’re doing it for WvW.
In PvE TC, SoR, BG, etc. don’t exist anymore. It’s all megaservers.
If you make it so that when you enter sPvP, your toon changes races and appearance, you can pretty much guarantee that no PvE player will ever try out/play sPvP again.
No response means exactly that: no response. These picks could come back. More picks of the same vein may come back. Who knows?
Don’t buy picks that don’t give sprockets because you’ll feel really stupid if the watchwork pick returned at a later date.
What’s really funny is that they said it’s currently really hard to change these achievements, which makes me think the coding is just such a tangled mess that we wont be seeing a change for a long, long time.
I don’t see how moving a comma or decimal over is really that difficult. If the coding is truly so hard they can’t fix achievements then they probably shouldn’t code a game either.
Anet uses a lot of questionable programming practices. Just look at how they have to manually change skill description stats every time they buff/nerf a skill.
That said, this is probably an easy fix that they just can’t be bothered to do.
By now we should have had new, tested and balanced maps. Instead, we have the universally derided bloodlust ruins and EoTM. Massive waste of dev time.
Be careful what you wish for. Next thing you know, they wipe all WXP from everyone so that the upcoming leaderboards will be fair. And then they’ll fail to implement the leaderboards. Remember the Fractal Leaderboards?
Every week, RNG is used to tweak each server’s rating a bit. This gives a new ranking for each server. The matchups are set using this new ranking: 1 vs 2 vs 3, 4 vs 5 vs 6, etc. Colors are set from this as well: top seed = green, middle = blue, bottom = red.
Remember Kaineng? No one likes a bandwagon server. There’s going to be a lot of beating up on HoD as they fall through the rankings.
Yeah but Kaeyi will still walk back once you pull Tazza from off the stairs.
Shhhh! Didn’t want to mention that part. 
By the way, I wonder if this means you can no longer solo Tazza in the corner of the room.
If you aggro Tazza now at the end of SEp1, Kaeyi automatically aggros as well. Annoying for solo runs.
If this becomes a popular and continuing activity, perhaps a Leaderboard can be formed… that’d be nice since Anet is unable/unwilling to fulfill their promise of creating one.
It has come to the point that as WvW has not received real updates since launch that we ourselves would not mind doing the testing.
I can appreciate that many people don’t like EotM, but don’t conflate a lack of updates that you personally like with a lack of updates. WvW has added a great deal of content and rewards over just the last calendar year.
Hopefully you will find more you like in future updates and we’ll continue to add to the game.
I think most people love EOTM, the fun fights we can have there and the beautiful design. The only problem with it is that it doesn’t affect the WvW score therefore doesn’t encourage defence.
As for your previous post, if it is that long to develop a new map I hope you’ve been working on something for many months already, I can’t really see people playing the same 2 WvW maps for another year…
EoTM’s problem is the lack of community. Red-Green-Blue means you’re playing with people you don’t know; people you’ll never see again after you log out. So you don’t care about winning or losing.
Don’t expect Anet to learn anything from its failure. They already had a chance: EoTM was basically a megaserver trial run — and Anet didn’t address the community issue at all before introducing megaservers.
I use it for Deadeye Dunwell farming.
Which is why the watchwork pick will never grace the Gem Store ever again. The Devs realize that they stepped in it that time. Therefore all remaining unlimited picks are the same other than looks and animation.
There has never been any announcement that there will not be another watchwork pick sale (or another tool that gives bonuses beyond the usual mined items).
Anet has had plenty of opportunities to comment on this issue (see https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/bltc/Watchwork-Pick-Why-No-Response/first for example) but has not done so.
Therefore, we should assume the Watchwork Pick (or something similar to it) may make a return…. in which case I recommend you not buy the Bone Pick: you will regret it when the Watchwork pick returns to the gemstore.
No donation = no reward means Blitz’s that have stagnated at Bronze (what you frequently see upon logging in) will never be finished.
What’s your experience with turnaround times in Gold (or Silver) Boss Blitz’s?
The best I’ve seen is 6-7 minutes kill and 8-10 minutes wait time before the next run… so 14-17 minutes per run. (These are pug runs.)
I wonder if you get a better (champ bag) return if you can fish for Bronze runs that are almost finishing using LFG (join groups that are looking for Gold runs and enter each party member’s instance, hoping for an almost done Bronze run). I imagine the dreaded “You have joined to many parties” might be a big issue.
I want that Lyssa thing, but I don’t wanna buy it for over a 100g. :< Gauntlet farming is so boring and unrewarding.
If it’s just the Lyssa backpiece you’re looking for and it’s 100g, I’m pretty sure your time would be better spent doing dungeons for the gold to buy it outright than farming the Gauntlet for Chances. Unless you find the gambling fun in and of itself.
In short, trash your Chances and do dungeons.
